May. POV.

Next day I call the call from the company asking me to attend the important meeting as our company is launching a new product design even though I am proficient in Fashion but they do know about my excellent scores in Ornament and jwellery designing.

I was free as I have already submitted the designs which they earlier asked for and I will get aid for extra work and I was free so I decided to go there.

When I entered the room I saw all my colleagues who were discussing the ideas. We all greeted each other and I sat beside Anaya who works in PR department and she is an amazing hacker and develops the security system for the company .

I think she is the most badass and her personality suits her work. Due to her no other company has ever been able to spread false rumours about our company she always keeps a check on the smooth develop of our company. You can say she is the perfect girl even when she has gone though so many Ordeals and always remain happy and doesn't take shit from anybody.

Then our manager came and started discussing about our new launch project which consist of both clothing and jewellery design. The theme is that both the designs of clothing and Jewellery should complement each other and should be worn distinctively.

He talked about pros and cons and after the long discussion we took our leave. Our company's environment is healthy and fit for development. It gives rise to healthy competition and if anyone is caught sneaking bad acts then they are blacklisted as it can cause a huge downfall to the company.

There are security cameras and all the computers of the employees are being monitored every twenty four hours as they only contain company's information to keep a check on stealing of important information and a person blacklisted by our company will never get a job anywhere in whole Country that is how much well our Country is reputed.

After the meeting me and Anaya along with Stacy and Amanda who are also our colleagues went to cafeteria to eat something. They both are also very sweet girls. Amanda is a black woman with the curves to die for and Stacy with the good amount of muscles . I think I am the most thin and short among our group but that's okay as they all baby me a lot.

We all sat down with our orders . I only took milkshake as I was already full enough with the breakfast. When we were eating our food we saw Andrew coming towards us with our fellow executives behind him in a row. Amanda leaned towards us and said

"That's Andrew Will. The owner of the Will's cruise and ships . He is friends with the owner of our company and now that the owner of our company is sick he is here ofor the inspection."

Me and Anaya looked at each other and in shock. Then I asked Amanda that what happened to him and she said

"Last night someone drugged our boss and right now investigation is going on and they found out that it was the employee of our company who was the spy from other company. They wanted to drug and videotape our boss with some girl to blackmail but our boss outsmarted him and called the police."

When I heard it I felt relief as it was nowhere what happened with us. Me and Anaya smiled at each other and continued listening to Amanda's information about the company.

But suddenly I felt a gaze on me and both me and Anaya looked back and saw Andrew looking at us and smiling at  us. We also smiled back and then ignored him and continued with our talks as he has nothing to do with us or our work.

May. POV.

After that day I started working on the designs required my the company. Every designer has their own trademark and luckily for me I never did that in my previous competitions which I won on my sister's behalf. Ironically me being the topper couldn't win the competition and he being not even able to win the classes still she could win the glory for the university.

I think my sister knew about my emotions. There is no way she would have ignored it but I think she chose not to care as she got all the love and attention at the expense of others and it didn't matter to her that how many tears I have shed.

That's why I am not close to my sister. I don't think that I have been talked to her because for me she is the cause of my sufferings but I never resented her for it as it is human nature but she could have shared a bit of love with me then everything would be the best but she smchose to be slefish and all the decisions which my family took is the sole reason I don't want to be with them and is now happily away from them.

After taking one full week on completing the designs I submitted it to the company and then I was called to the boss's office. It is my first time seeing the boss as the boss of our company usually stays lowkey and no one has ever seen his face and he rearky attends the events. I was not sure that why I was being called but I guess it is about the designs. So I reached his office after being led by his beautiful secretary. I knocked on the office door and the boss let me enter. When I entered the office I saw Alexander sitting on the boss chair looking at me smiling . To say I was shocked is an understatement. Never in my dreams would I have known that the person who passed out on me is my boss. I awkwardly waved at home and he told me to sit down. Then he sat up straight and said

"Anaya ,Right. I want to say thank you to you for that day. It was wrong for me to leave without a thanks.So ,thank You Anaya ."

I don't know but the way he said my name is so beautiful. I have never heard anyone calling my name in such a seductive manner. I was lost into his grey eyes but then sanity brought me back and I said

"Never mind. You were actually passed out so there is no way you could have said thanks to us and by the way you friend Andrew already said thanks. So there is no need. It is our duty to help the one in need. So what exactly happened that day because I heard something else ."

"Actually I was drugged by someone. So I tried to enter the washroom but then the effect of drug took over and then you saw me and rest happened. Andrew lied to protect me someone leaked what happened and now that person has been warned. I am sorry for the trouble that day.  " He said.

"It's okay. And why did you actually called me?"

I asked him.

Then he said

"Oh my bad!. These are the designs which I have selected . I wanted your opinion on them. I know this is not your work but I have seen your resume and your work and you are the best we have got . "

I looked at him embarrassingly from the praise I just received and then took the file and looked at the designs. All the designs were the best and they perfectly showcased the nature of the designer and their creativity. I was mesmerized by the designs .

I pointed out some things and he listened to me carefully. He didn't look like a boss but more like a friendly colleague. We kept on talking about the designs and theme. In between his secretary came with the lunch and then I realised that it was the luch time and the boss asked me to join him . I was hesitant at first but his secretary aslo persuaded me and together we had lunch. It was peaceful and bit worrisome as I didn't want the boss to have bad impression on me. So I tried as elegantly as possible to eat the food. After the food we again went on discussion. After the discussions and suggestions were done I took my leave and suprisingly Alexander came to open the door for me like a gentleman. I know that by now my cheeks would have been red. I thanked him and left the office but on the way I could feel his gaze on me and I don't know but It made me blush. I also saw his secretary Jasmine on the way smiling at me which was weird but I went on my way to my home thinking about the boss which I should not.

May. POV.

After that encounter with my boss I have never seen him but somehow he reminds me of someone but I can't put a finger on it and now he has even started coming into my dreams which is absurd and so wrong. 

I guess it is because I have not really interacted with the opposite sex and when they give me some attention so I start to swoon over them. But I think it is attraction. I never once in my life felt that way. I do have many boy Friends but they never gave me such kind of feeling and now that I am having different feeling it is making me ponder upon it .

So to take my mind off those grey eyes I called Anaya ,Amanda and Stacy for a hangout and they all agreed. We decided to go on Saturday as we have off on Sunday. 

On Saturday after leaving for our work we quickly went to our homes. Amanda lives with her husband  Amos as she is Newly married and Stacy lives with her parents and little brother. We decided to reach at 'Onix' mall which is a famous mall in our city by 6:00 pm.

And we all reached on time. Amanda was the first me and Anaya second and Stacy the last. We hung out around the mall and bought some menial thing and clicked some photographs. After that we kept all our belongings in Amanda's car and as Stacy came by the Public transport and it was decided that Amanda will drop her off. 

We all together went to a nightclub. As all my friends knew about my condition so they all decided to drink only light drinks and I ordered plain juice. After that we all started saying to the music. Anaya and Stacy slowly got drunk and I didn't know  that they were so light drinkers. After having our full it was already 10;30 pm. So I and  Amanda helped Stacy get inside her car safely and then I went back to look for Anaya who drunk. When I reached out Cabin I saw someone hovering over Anaya . I quickly rushed towards her and yanked than man from her and punched him straight on his face  and realised that it was none other than Andrew and from the side I looked at Alexander walking towards us .

Alexander hurriedly came towards me and looked shocked but there was a smile on his face looking at his friend's beliwered face. Andrew was holding his nose and thank God it didn't break otherwise I would have been so embarassed. I looked at him sadly and said

"I am so sorry. I just left Anaya for a moment to drop off Amanda and when I cam back I saw Andrew leaning over Anaya so I thought that it was some pervert and I instinctively took the action. I am sorry."

"It is okay. " Replied Andrew after removing his hand from the face and I saw that his nose was swelled up.

"I think I should take you to see the doctor. That might be hurting." I said to him with concern.

"No . It is okay. I am happy that Anaya has a protective friend who can fight for her. "

I smiled proudly at his comment and then Alexander said

"Both of you girls are very protective of each other. Last time I took the hit and this time it is Andrew . I think next time we should watch out for our well being. " We all laughed at this even though I was feeling bit guilty.

"Then what should we do ?" Asked Andrew.

"It was Anaya who brought me and I was supposed to go with her but I didn't know that she is such a light drinker and now I have to call for a taxi.

"No worries. We will drop you off. We were also hanging out when we say you and your friends but when We saw you leaving Anaya Andrew was concerned as Anaya looked passed out and then all this happened. Don't worry . We will safely drop you off. It is late at night and I don't think that it will be comfortable for you guys. "

I was bit hesitant but Alexander is my boss and Andrew helped us last time so I agreed. I helped Anaya to the car and Andrew opened the door after Alexander shoes us the was to the car. I helped her sit on the seat and tied the seat belt around her and when I was going to the other side  of the car to sit but Andrew was quicker than me and said

"I like this side of the car. Don't worry I mean no harm."

I didn't want to argue even though I find it weird so I sat on the seat beside the driver seat. Alexander was driving the car. Before driving I saw Alexander giving a look to the Andrew who ignored it. But I looked at Anaya who was sleeping and then started looking at the road towards our home. Anaya's bike keys with her and her bike was parked in the club's underground parking lot. It was paid parking so her bike will be safe and we can fetch it tomorrow.

While on the way I saw Anaya leaning towards Andrew's side and her head was on his shoulder and she adjusted her head on his shoulder for a more comfortable position and suprisingly Andrew was fine with it and even scooped cloer towards her . I was bit surprised and Alexander looked at me and gave me a knowing smile and the dummy me was clueless at this point.
