"Please understand Gabriella, Alpha Bernard, Luna Gladys, she is in bad shape, so she accidentally threw the food," I heard Eury apologize for me to the Alpha and Luna.

I couldn’t take my eyes off Prince Javier. I can’t believe he was the one I was with last night, the guy who declared I was his Mate!

"If she isn't feeling well, why is she still working here? She should be sleeping to recover from her illness," Alpha Bernard was the one who inquired.

"She insists on serving you today, Alpha Bernard, and what we know, there aren't enough maids available today, " Eury explained.

Alpha Bernard cocked his head to the side, "No, I don't think so. She is in desperate need of rest!" Alpha Bernard made a statement.

I know that Alpha Bernard turned to look me in the eyes, but I still fixed my eyes on Prince Javier.

"It's Gabriella, isn't it?" My attention was drawn to Alpha Bernard.

As I looked at Alpha Bernard, I bowed her head slightly.

"Alpha Bernard, please accept my apologies for the current predicament. I'm going to go get some more food and clean up the mess I made," I expressed my apologies for what I had done.

"There's no need to apologize, Gabriella. Return to your room as soon as possible to rest. Don't mind the trash, and I will order someone else who will take care of it," Alpha Bernard answered me.

I shifted my gaze to Eury. In response, I was signaled to follow Alpha Bernard's instructions.

"Thank you for taking the time to consider my situation, Alpha Bernard," I said in my appreciation.

"Assist her and make sure she is taken to her room in good shape. We don't know what will happen to her while she's walking," Alpha Bernard instructed Eury, who dutifully carried out the command.

Eury and I returned to our respective rooms at the same time.

The man who kidnapped me last night was the son of Alpha Bernard and Luna Gladys, as he had already claimed me last night! I can't believe it! How did that happen to me?

I, on the other hand, saw that Prince Javier was wearing a grimace on his face as I was looking at him earlier. Prince Javier seemed to dislike me, and I had the sensation that he did. Last night, his blue eyes were filled with longing, in contrast to what I saw when his eyes appeared to be those of a tiger intent on killing me.

"Gab, what happened to you was strange. Why did you throw the food out earlier? We only serve the Alpha Bernard family once in a blue moon, and you destroyed it for us," Eury reprimanded me after she enquired.

"Please accept my apologies, Eury. Possibly because I was exhausted after avoiding the wild beast last night, I dropped the food earlier," I had played a trick on her.

Eury murmured with a pursed lip, "Gab, I believe that is the case. The reason why it was unbelievable is that you are one of the most tenacious maids and one of the most careful about everything that happens inside the palace." Eury agreed with my point of view.

"So, today, just relax and unwind. Alpha Bernard is good and kind because it other alphas, I am sure that they will undoubtedly make you suffer even more as a result of your error!" I just smiled at what she said.

When the two of us walked into our room, I hurriedly changed my clothes and sat down on the bed. Eury said goodbye as I lay down on the bed because Eury had to return to the dining room to serve Alpha Bernard's family for lunch.

I sighed as I lay on my bed, contemplating my situation. I was staring up at the ceiling of our room at the time, thinking about what I had learned earlier.

'If I am Prince Javier's Luna, does it imply that my life will improve if what he said last night about me is true? I will no longer be an Omega when he announces to all of the Bloodlust Pack members that I am his Luna?' I began to formulate questions in my mind. "I'm not sure what to ask," I said.

'If I'm chosen to be Prince Javier's Luna, I can now bring back the Blue River Pack!' I cracked a grin because of what I thought. I hope that Prince Javier will claim me so that I will fulfill my promise to my parents!

"If that will happen, I will track down the former members of the Blue River who have dispersed throughout the Kingdom, and I will resurrect our Pack that my father previously led!" I said determinedly.

Unbeknownst to everyone, I was eight years old when I managed to land the Bloodlust Pack with the help of a member of our Pack.

At the time, I was a member of my father's Blue River Pack, which he had founded. Many members of our pack perished as a result of the sudden invasion of Rogue werewolves more than twenty years ago when the pack was destroyed entirely.

The Blue River Pack was still in its beginning, and as a result, our territory was limited, with fewer than two hundred active members. Due to a lack of warriors and the large number of Rogue werewolves who invaded, my parents, who were trying to protect our Pack, died.

Because it occurred at an unexpected time, the other Packs did not respond to give assistance or express concern. In response to the devastation wreaked by the Rogue werewolves, a slew of werewolf packs have formed in order to deal with the Rogue werewolves. The other packs had fulfilled their missions, and the entire Lyrous Kingdom was now at peace!

It was difficult for me to open my eyes since I was in pain and exhausted from what had transpired the night before, as well as from my hunt for an escape route in the woods earlier. Unbeknownst to me, I had fallen asleep with a smile on my lips and was already asleep.

The sound of Eury's voice shaking my shoulder shocked me to consciousness. When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the sight of my friend's face.

"Can you tell me how you're feeling right now, Gab?" Eury asked me immediately when I opened my eyes.

"I am feeling a lot better now," I answered her question.

"I know that you hadn't eaten lunch yet, and I knew you hadn't eaten breakfast either," Eury continued, "so I brought you your meal here," she informed me.

"The food has been set out on the table for you. You will eat while I take a bath, allowing me to get some rest. I'm so exhausted today," Eury instructed me, that I just answered with a simple nod.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't able to assist you today," I apologized to Eury.

"Gab, please don't bring it up. You can relax in it because we all know you are the most responsible of all our maids here at the palace; therefore, you deserve to rest," Eury responded to me with a smile.

"Eury, thank you so much for your help. Don't worry, and I'll make sure to repay the favor once the opportunity presents itself," It was my turn to express thanks to my friend.

"You know what I'm looking for, Gab; I'm looking for a handsome and high-ranking werewolf!" Eury shared a joke with me, which resulted in our giggling.

The last thing Eury said to me before going to the restroom to the bath was, "All right, eat, and I'll just take a shower."

I rose to my feet and walked towards the table in our room where Eury had set my dinner when she walkthrough through the restroom.

Three knocks on the door of our room interrupted my eating, which I was enjoying pleasantly at the time.

I fixed my focus on the door to our room. I was bewildered as to who had knocked because there was no one knocking on the door in our room at the time.

I pushed myself to my feet and walked over to the front door to unlock it. When I opened the door, my eyes widened when I saw a man standing outside our room, waiting for me. I swallowed my saliva as I cast a glimpse over him. It was Prince Javier!

I bowed my head to give respect, "Can you tell me what I can do for you, Prince Javier?" I asked him.

Prince Javier looked around the room with his eyes before he looked at me.

"Come with me," Prince Javier whispered to me, speaking in a deep and calm tone.

Prince Javier walked away from me. I didn't hesitate to follow him out of their quarters once I finished his work.

We walked around to the side of the palace, where Luna Gladys' magnificent butterfly garden could be found.

"Prince Javier, why have you summoned me here?" I inquired, puzzled, why he brought me here.

Prince Javier confronted and accosted me. Because of his solemn demeanor, I bit her lower lip really hard.

"Let's settle this once and for all," Prince Javier said to me.

"Could you perhaps elaborate on what you mean, Prince Javier?" I asked.

"I, Javier Jacques, the future Alpha of the Bloodlust Pack, have rejected you as my Luna!"

What did he say? Was he trying to reject me as his mate? as his future Luna?

My mouth was wide open, and my entire body stiffened as a result of Prince Javier's abrupt rejection.

"Please accept my rejection, Omega!" Prince Javier raged at me.

I regained consciousness as he screamed in front of me.

"What?" I faltered as I looked into Prince Javier's eyes.

"I told you to accept my rejection!" Prince Javier reiterated what he had said.

"But why is that? Why do you want to turn me down as your Luna?" I inquired, confused.

Because of my question, Prince Javier's eyes furrowed. I felt his anger at me because of his look, but I did not show fear in him.

"What do you think you're expecting, that I'll accept you as my Luna?" With a scornful tone, Prince Javier inquired once more.

"I just wanted to let you know that I looked into your information today and I discovered who you are and where you're from!" He added to inform me.

"I'm not insane enough to accept you as Luna! An orphaned woman, an Omega, and you are a wolfless werewolf!" He told me in my face what he knew about me.

I was unable to speak as a result of what Prince Javier had told about me, which was all true.

"You're right, I came from an orphanage, I'm an Omega, and I'm now a wolfless werewolf, but that's not a cause to reject me, Prince Javier," I firmly responded.

Prince Javier laughed, "These are sufficient grounds for me to reject you! You are a worthless woman, and I have no intention of accepting you as such!" he declared.

The words he shouted pierced my breast as a thousand knives hit me. I was aware of these facts, but when I heard those terrible remarks from others, particularly my Mate, I appeared to pass out.

" If I were you, I'd accept my rejection !" Prince Javier responded angrily.

"No!" I responded forcefully.

Because of my response, Prince Javier's eyes narrowed, his teeth tightened, and his hands clenched.

"Do you want me to make your life a living hell? If you don't accept my rejection, I will do that?" I was threatened by Prince Javier.

"But, Prince Javier, you're my mate!" I was adamant.

"I don't mind! I am an Alpha, and rejection will not bother me!" He replied.

That is not correct! If a werewolf rejects his or her mate, they claim to be in so much pain that they may seem to commit suicide.

"I'm not going to accept your rejection, Prince Javier!" I responded with a firm reply.

I have no intention of accepting Prince Javier's rejection since his role as the future Alpha of the Bloodlust Pack represents a significant opportunity to resurrect the Pack that my parents founded. I will not take rejection from him, no matter what, even if Prince Javier threatens me.

"If that's the case, brace yourselves, because I'm not going to let you be my Luna!"

Prince Javier's final words before entering the palace. I was left to my position in the butterfly garden. To calm myself, I took a big and deep breath.

"I will not let Prince Javier turn me down! I will go to whatever length to gain his acceptance!" I said firmly to myself.

I spent about 30 minutes in the butterfly garden before returning to their quarters. When I entered our room, Eury was brushing her hair in front of the mirror.

"Gab, where have you been? Why didn't you eat everything I brought you?" Eury inquired at me as she looked in the mirror.

"Eury, I just came out. I was full earlier and forgot to put it away," I'd lie, but the truth was that it was all because of Prince Javier.

"I'll take a shower first," I said goodbye to Eury to escape her questions. I know that she will ask me some questions until she heard what she wants to hear.

'What would Prince Javier do to me when he threatened to make my life a living hell because I refused to accept his rejection?' I pondered this as water streamed from her head to her body.

As I felt the coolness of the water pouring through my body, I closed her eyes.

'Who actually Prince Javier is?' Is it true that he is a ruthless man?' I continued to think.

I simply sighed. I kept bathing till I was done.

I sat up in bed after getting dressed. I wasn't weary because I had slept all day.

I began to feel drowsy about five hours later. I closed my eyes and layout on my bed.

I awoke the next morning due to Eury shaking my shoulders.

"Come on up, Gab, we'll make breakfast and serve the Alpha's family!" Eury told to me.

I awoke from my slumber and rose from my bed.

"Prepare yourself. I'll be the first one to go to the palace. If you have finished preparing yourself, proceed there immediately!" Eury said me her goodbyes.

Eury rushed out of our room as I prepared to begin my day as a maid.

I exited the room and made my way to the kitchen when I was ready. As I walked into the kitchen, I noticed my coworkers were busy. I instantly pitched in to assist them to serve Alpha Bernard's family in preparing their breakfast.

When we were finished, I and the other maids go out of the dining room, leaving only the old maids in the dining room.

Some of my companions had already begun their work, such as cleaning the entire palace, while she and Eury proceeded to the laundry room to wash clothes.

"How come Prince Javier isn't there earlier? I want to see him badly!" Eury was taken aback and inquired.

We had not seen Prince Javier before they left; only Alpha Bernard and Luna Gladys had entered the dining area earlier.

I didn't respond to Eury's query, instead of focusing on the laundry.

"I'm extremely unlucky, Gab," Eury murmured, drawing my attention to her.

"Why? What happened, and why did you tell me that you were unlucky?" I was taken aback and asked her.

"I hoped to be Prince Javier's Luna, but nothing happened. The Moon Goddess did not choose Prince Javier as my Mate," Eury responded to me with sadness.

"You? Gab, did you feel anything when you saw Prince Javier? Perhaps you're his Luna!" Eury inquired while we were both doing their laundry.

Eury's abrupt question caused my eyes to widen. Because I couldn't speak, my tongue seemed to retreat.

"Gab, why do you seem to have seen a ghost? What exactly happened to you?" Eury inquired when she noticed my expression.

"How can I tell who my mate is if my wolf hasn't returned yet?" I responded to her inquiry.

Eury agreed because of my response, "You have a point."

"Why hasn't your wolf returned yet? Gab, perhaps she abandoned you permanently," Eury voiced her opinion.

"No way, Eury. According to what she informed me when I was eighteen, she will return!" I had a response for her.

"When will she return? What about when you're old? When you don't have the ability to conceive?" Eury interrogated me.

"I'm not sure," I said, "but I believe she'll be back soon," I added.

Eury shook her head in response to my words. We just kept doing our work. We were in the laundry when I was called by one of their coworker maids.

I rose to her feet and faced the woman, "What's the matter, Gwen? Why do you call me?" I enquired of Gwen.

"Prince Javier is looking for you, Gab," Gwen answered which made my eyes widen.

Why is he looking at me?

"What can I do for you, Prince Javier?" I asked him when I arrived at the butterfly garden.

"Get yourself ready at 8 in the evening, we will go out!" said Prince Javier as he turned his back on me.

I widened my eyes, and I felt like my body froze because of what he said to me.

Why did he order me to get ready and what was his reason for us to go out?

"Wear your best dress. I don't want anyone besides me with unpleasant clothes," he added.

'Are we going to go out? To have a romantic date? ' I asked myself.

"Prince Javier ..." I wanted to ask if we were going to have a romantic date, but Prince Javier interrupted me.

"I don't want to hear anything from you. Go back to your quarter to prepare yourself!" he said to me.

"And one thing, don't ever mention that you are my Luna! Do you understand?" Last words of Prince Javier before he walked away to enter the palace.

My eyes followed the back of Prince Javier. When Prince Javier finally entered, I couldn't help but feel my heart pounding as if it were racing. My face grew hot because of the thought we were going to have a romantic date.

I returned to our room with Eury with a sweet smile on my face. When I entered our room, Eury immediately noticed my sweet smile which surprised her.

"Was there something that happened, Gab?" Eury asked me.

I looked at her, "None," I shortly answered my friend.

Eury frowned. She knew there was something strange about me and I know she can't help but wants to know what makes my sweet smile!

"Don't fool me, Gab. We spent all the time together, I know if you're lying or not, so tell me now!" said Eury with emphasis.

I tilted my head while smiling at her, "Nothing important, Eury. I just feel happy when I remember the happy things that happened in my life," I lied.

Eury just sighed because of what I said.

"We both have an oath that no one will keep secrets, we will tell the things that happen to us, Gab," she said trying to conscience me.

I looked at her friend. I could clearly see her serious face and I knew she wouldn’t stop asking until I told the truth.

"I'll tell it all, but don't ask, Eury," I told her.

Eury smiled because of what I said. She quickly approached me and excitedly asked.

"What? Tell me now, Gab!" Eury asked excitedly.

I bowed my head before I answered her.

"I already found my mate, Eury," I answered weakly but it was as if a powerful bomb had hit Eury.

"What did you say?" Eury asked Gabriella incredulously.

"I've already found my mate, so now, I have to get dressed because we're both going out," I replied smiling at her.

Eury's eyes widened and she couldn't move because of what she found out.

"Is your wolf back, so you already know who your Mate is?" Eury asked me.

I tilted my head, "My wolf isn't coming back yet. I only found out that he's my mate because he said so," I replied.

"Are you sure about what you're saying, Gab? What if he's just fooling you?" Eury asked.

"It's not hidden from your knowledge that you are beautiful, you have a perfect body, your skin is flawless like a princess, Gab! What if, he just said that you are his Luna to take advantage of you?" Eury asked me worriedly.

I smiled and held Eury's hand, "Don't worry, Eury. He has no reason to lie to me. I'm pretty sure he's my mate," I assured her.

Eury closed her eyes because of what I said. If she knew that Prince Javier was my mate, I knew she will support me no matter what happens.

"Who is your lucky mate, Gab?" Eury suddenly asked me.

"I'm sorry, Eury, but he told me that I would never say who he was," I replied.

"If he can tell me that I can tell who he is, I'll make sure you're the first one to know, Eury, I promise you that," I added.

"What else can I do?" with sadness or frustration, Eury asked me.

"I am really very sorry, Eury, if I can't tell you. So now, help me to be a beautiful lady, Eury. My dresses should be in order, my body, my looks, everything should be perfect for our meeting later," I pleaded with her.

"Sure, Gab, I'll take care of you and I'll make sure your Mate will fantasize about you!" Eury replied to me.

I also spent almost two hours preparing for my meeting with Prince Javier. Eury made sure I was as well and beautiful as she had said before.

"You really look like a princess, Gab! You're so beautiful!" Eury complimented me.

I smiled as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was wearing a red gown with artificial diamonds that we borrowed from one of our fellow maids. Eury also fixed my face and hair. She put make-up on my face, and she arranged my hair nicely.

"Because of you, I'm beautiful, Eury, so thank you for your effort," I told her.

"Tomorrow, you will tell me what will happen when you and your Mate come out, Gab!" said Eury to me.

"No worries, Eury, I'll tell you everything that will happen to the two of us tonight," I assured her.

"I need to leave now, Eury. What he told me earlier was 8 p.m.," I said goodbye.

"Okay, go ahead, be careful, Gab. I'll just leave the door unlocked so you can get in when you arrive," Eury told me.

I smiled at her and kissed her on her cheek before I left our room.

I walked quickly to the butterfly garden. When I arrived, there was no Prince Javier that made me surprise. I rolled my eyes around the butterfly garden until I saw a paper on a plant. I approached the paper and read what was written.

When I read what was written, I left the butterfly garden to go out the gate of the palace, and go to the place that was written on the paper earlier.

When I got out of the Gate, I walked a few meters before I reached the place where the two of us would meet. As I approached, I saw a black car. I quickly approached the car because that was what we would use where we were going.

When I approached, the car door opened. I peeked inside and saw Prince Javier in the driver's seat. He was wearing only a black t-shirt and pants, and a pair of rubber shoes.

"Go inside!" Prince Javier commanded me.

I quickly got into the car. When I closed the door, we began to go where we were going.

I noticed that the two of us were getting away from the Bloodlust Pack, so I asked.

"Where are we going, Prince Javier?" I asked.

Prince Javier didn't look up and answered my question, so I just kept quiet and looked out the car window.

We traveled for almost an hour before Prince Javier stopped his car.

"Come on," Prince Javier invited me before he left.

I quickly got out of the car to chase Prince Javier.

"Are you sure that's where we're going, Prince Javier?" I asked in astonishment.

"Don't ask any more questions. Just come with me!" Prince Javier had an emphatic answer for me.

I stopped walking and looked at the place where we going, a bar!

"What else are you doing there? Hurry up!" Prince Javier roared.

I looked at Prince Javier, his eyes were serious so I quickly approached where he was.

"All I say and all I need, you will do, is that clear?" said Prince Javier to me.

I just nodded as an answer to what he said, and then, we walk into the bar.
