The Final Battle between the Vicious First Love and His Wife Chapter 1

In the surveillance, I saw a small quilt covering my one-year-old daughter’s face. She couldn’t breathe, and her life was in danger.

I called my husband Jason Quiller, but he was busy watching the game and didn't answer.

After my daughter Amy Quiller died, Jason came to my bedroom with his first love Fiona White in his arms.

Fiona was wearing my pajamas and slippers.

"Jason said that you didn't accompany him to watch the game, and he felt very aggrieved.

"Men also need company. Sue, you are not a qualified wife."

During this process, Jason never remembered that we had a daughter.

At this moment, Amy was lying quietly behind him.

She had a purple face and lost her breath.

In the surveillance video, I saw my daughter Amy wrapped in a quilt. She twisted her little body left and right but couldn't get free.

I was very anxious. She would suffocate if she continued like this.

So I quickly called my husband Jason.

But he never answered.

I watched Amy's movements become slower and slower, and she didn't even have time to cry.

I was very worried.

What was Jason doing? Before I left, I told him to take good care of Amy.

Amy was just one year old, at a time when she was most susceptible to suffocating.

I drove at the highest speed back home, and I didn't even know how many red lights I ran.

I only had one thought in my mind. Amy was my daughter, and she must be fine.

I kept calling Jason, but he didn't answer.

I shouted at the monitor.

"Jason, Amy is suffocating. Go to have a look!"

However, no one responded to me. Instead, I heard cheers from the other side and a woman's voice.

"Nice shot!"

What? I was even more panicked. Was there a ball game today?

I pounded the steering wheel in anger.

"Jason, answer the phone!"

I was so upset that I couldn't even breathe. Amy's movements became slower and slower.

I knew what this meant.

I forced myself to calm down. Jason must be watching the Euro Cup.

He must turn up the volume to the maximum.

He couldn't hear my call maybe because he had muted his phone. He wouldn't let anything disturb him from watching the game.

In a panic, I thought of another way.

I quickly gave up on Jason but called the hospital.

I tried to tell them the address in my calmest voice. No matter what Jason was doing, he would open the door if the ambulance arrived.

As I suppressed all my emotions including panic, anger, and fear, I gripped the steering wheel tightly with my fingers and drove as fast as I could, holding back my tears.

However, five minutes passed, and no doctor showed up.

Ten minutes passed, but I still didn't see doctors.

Twenty minutes passed, and Amy's body stopped moving. She just lay there quietly.

The quilt wrapped around her was so tight that I couldn't even see her face.

But I still didn't see doctors.

How could it be? No matter how obsessed Jason was with watching the game, the ambulance and the doctors would go.

But no one went to check on Amy.

An hour later, I finally rushed to downstairs my home, and my car crashed into the flower bed on the side of the road.

I didn't care about anything but rushed home as fast as I could.

I didn’t see any doctor, and at the door, I could hear Jason’s cheers from inside the room.

"They won! I finally won the bet!"

This bastard only cared about the ball games.

I rushed into the house angrily and went towards Amy.

I pulled off her quilt, and she was wrapped in layer upon layer.

There was a bed sheet inside the quilt that wrapped her tightly.

I remembered that I only covered her with a small quilt. Where did this bed sheet come from?

I was so panicked that I almost couldn't see where Amy was.

As I kept pulling at the bed sheet with my hands, my heart beat faster.

I didn't hear any sound from Amy, not even crying.

Finally, I saw her face.

The tears that I had been holding back all the way burst out at this moment.

Her lovely rosy face turned purple, and her hands were clenched into fists.

I could imagine how much effort she put into tearing open the sheet.

But she didn't have enough strength and she failed.

Amy left me on her first birthday.

I hugged her tightly. I wanted to cry loudly, but I couldn't make a sound.

I could only hold her tightly against my chest.

Amy's body was cold, but I wanted to warm her up.

I wanted to tell her, "Baby, mommy is here."

I heard Jason's cheers in the living room again.

"Fiona, you are my lucky star! I won the bet after you came. I will give you half of the 100 thousand dollars."

"Am I better than your wife? She never accompanies you to watch these games."

"Yes, you are right. When she is at home, she never allows me to turn up the volume. Damn! What's the point of watching a football game with low volume?"

What?

I put Amy down and was about to rush out to kill Jason.

But he hugged Fiona and walked into my bedroom.

"Sue won't come back today. You can sleep here tonight. You came to watch the game with me so late. Thank you, Fiona..."

Before Jason could finish his words, he suddenly saw me blocking his way.

Feeling a little panicked, he immediately let go of Fiona's hand.

"Why are you back? Doesn't my mother have high blood pressure? Why don't you stay with her? Why are you back in the middle of the night?"
