Chapter 4

Olivia remained still and expressionless for many seconds.

"What... did you just say?" This time, she was careful with her wording as she inquired.

It was at this point that the maid repeated her earlier response-"She gave birth to a female"-and Olivia's anxious expression relaxed into a grin.

"Oh.." She turned her head away from me with a scowl, her little lips extending into a grin.

She let out a long, deep breath, and her chest heaved as she did so.

So... it turns out to be a female?

After reversing direction, she faced the housekeeper again.

Yes, Your Majesty, I promise you that. The security guy confirmed it to me. According to what he recounted, the King almost killed the midwife who delivered the bad news to him. When she said, "He termed the kid terrible news," Olivia's eyes widened with delight.

"Woah.." She blinked her eyes fast and laughed.

She gave a little shrug and then started laughing uncontrollably. It was resonant with scorn and sounded quite loud.

"Badnews?" With more laughter, she repeated. We should all feel so pitiful about this new development. Oh..! I feel terrible for Natasha, thinking about how she must feel hearing her father name her daughter "Badnews" for the first time. She stopped, laughing again, before adding, "Must be so heart breaking."

"Hmm. We're the same, she sashays to the window.

Her giggles turned into grins as she said, "Tell you what, I believe I should bring her some fruits so she can eat and be rejuvenated by the time she wakes up."

"Leena, hurry up and prepare a carriage. Please excuse me while I go out to the store.

The help seemed perplexed.

"My. My Queen, let me collect those fruits for you. That's not necessary.

Aw, Leena. Don't fret," Olivia said with a cheery grin.

I'm in a great mood today and would love to take care of it by myself. Get moving, that's all I'm saying.

The housekeeper then bowed and exited.

Ella waited for Lisa to come out of the home with the empty basket so that the two of them could depart for the wedding as a unit.

Since she had to wait for them for what seemed like forever, she was beginning to feel exhausted. This is the way things have always gone, so I guess it's fair that she has to wait for them.

And by that point, she had become used to it.

There was still a few hours till evening, but the sun had already set. Just what was taking Lisa so long?

She waited patiently, holding the basket at her side, and then she saw Lisa emerge from the double-story home.

She dressed on an extravagant outfit and stacked her wrists with three or more pricey bracelets. Ella wondered why the woman looked so perfect.

"What exactly are your eyes fixed on?" Upon approaching Ella, Lisa snapped, and Ella immediately looked down.

With a roll of her eyes, Lisa walked away while Ella trailed after carrying the basket.

Because of her tragic background, Ella has always considered herself unfortunate.

Before her mother passed away seven years ago, she was an only kid. Since then, Ella's life has been nothing but a series of misfortunes. Life was unjust even while her mother was still living, and it got much more so when her mother passed away.

She didn't understand why her stepfather and stepmother were so harsh to her. Could it have been that she felt helpless? Then then, it can't have been her fault. Not by her own free will did she become the weakest member of the Wind Walker pack. Clearly, it wasn't her decision. As so, why is she need to be treated with such contempt?

They were occasions when she questioned the future of her life. She wondered when her life will improve. She wishes she could change and use her wolf abilities to make things better. Perhaps she simply needs to keep petitioning the Gods and Goddesses.

The population was very scary, and the trek to the market was pretty far. Of course, there wouldn't be any business conducted on the next day because of the holiday.

Ella was curious as to what it would be like to see the whole mountain devoid of life since everyone was hiding inside their homes. But the question remains as to why the Alpha would issue such commands. Why would everyone want to remain indoors the next day?

"Will you quicken your pace?" Ella attempted to quicken her pace as Lisa sprang to attention. Is there any way she can win over her sister's approval? To put it simply, she was curious.

Like a puppet, she went wherever Lisa went in the market to get the stuff she needed. Ella volunteered to carry the groceries in the basket as she selected and paid for them.

Lisa was quite choosy and demanding, so shopping with her was never a breeze. They circled the large, crowded market until something terrible occurred that Ella had never even considered.

She and Lisa had been strolling in front when a passing wagon splattered dirt water over Lisa.

Lisa abruptly halted her progress as she looked down at her clothing in disbelief.

"What?"

Chapter 5

The shock even got to Ella. Oh, no. Dress that sparkled like a star on her.

Lisa saw that the carriage had stopped moving and went straight for it before she realized what had happened.

"Hey..!" As Lisa approached the horse, she made an aggressive growling noise and lunged at the rider.

She wasn't bothered by the fact that it resembled a regal carriage.

Asking, "Are you blind??? You soaked me with dirt water! She made a scene by screaming at the top of her lungs. And at that same moment, the curtain parted and a young woman emerged.

And, indeed, there was Her Majesty herself!

"I, Olivia, Your Majesty!"

Her housekeeper came running out of the other room to be at her side.

The shock on Lisa's face was understandable.

In any case, Ella was keeping her distance and observing.

When Olivia took a good look at the woman in front of her, her bright eyes immediately faded.

"So. are you the one shouting at my horse-drawn carriage? "As she scanned Lisa from head to toe, she questioned.

Lisa wasn't seeking adulation, despite the fact that her eloquence was endearing. Instead, she felt hurt and angry with her for saying that to her.

"Your Carriage, splashed water on me," she said furiously. In an instant, Olivia smacked her across the face.

After a moment of shock, Ella sprang back from her position of standing. Oh, no.. Lisa was so taken aback that she instantly put her palm over her face. What??? What, did the Queen smack her?

With the situation now attracting a lot of attention, Olivia replied, "And you must be foolish to stand in front of me and make such complaint."

"What makes you think your outfit is so special?"

" It's pricey, but I think my horse is more expensive. "At that, she halted and advanced toward Lisa.

"In all honesty, luck would be on your side My mood today couldn't be better. If I hadn't already been planning on returning to the palace with your skull in my bag, I would have had your life now."

She then turned and went away, followed by her maid, to go get her request.

Lisa's fingers remained on her face as she trembled violently.

Was it the Queen who smacked her? That woman just smacked her, didn't she?

Women shoppers all around were muttering and looking nervous. It crossed Ella's mind to go console her, but she didn't want to give off any aggressive vibes, so she stayed still.

Lisa's furs were literally crawling out of her skin from her simmering rage.

That wasn't possible; she was stuck in place. No, not just now. The death sentence would be appropriate for an attack on the Queen.

She swiftly turned back and began walking away, Ella following after in silence with the bulky basket.

"Mother!!!!" As soon as Lisa walked in the door, she started screaming.

She was certain that if she were a witch, her rage would have been enough to bring the walls tumbling down.

"Mother!!! Father!!!" When she screamed again, her mother came rushing down the dusty stairs.

"Lisa??? So, what exactly is the issue here?

"Mother, everything is an issue!"

Her mother came running down and saw the redness on her daughter's cheeks and the stain on her clothes... The likes of which she had never seen before.

Right away, Ella appeared, carrying the basket.

Someone asked Lisa, "What happened?" The subject came up in conversation with her mom.

Her rumbling snarl had echoed down the stairs and drawn the attention of her siblings. She was completely unaware that her dad was out of town.

"Mother! Look at me!" You need to see this right now! Lisa shouted, then attempted to cool down so that she could explain.

It all started when the Queen's vehicle sloshed mud water all over me in the market. I tried to lodge a formal complaint, but she slapped me.

They all let out shocked gasps.

"You was smacked by the Queen!" The question came from Rebecca, her younger sibling.

Specifically, "Which of the Queens?" That would be her mom talking.

"Olivia, the Queen." Lisa hissed the name with so much hate in her voice.

As in, "Oh, my gosh! "That's the Grand Duchess!" Rebecca let out a sharp yelp.

"why would she smack you? That isn't right..!"

"Oh..! I would have skinned her alive, damn the consequences, if she weren't a queen with guards around. But I vow to you, Mom. I swear to the seven mountain gods. This is an absolute guarantee!"

Lisa then ran up the stairs and out of the building.

For a few seconds, the room was filled with suspenseful quiet.

Aven chimed in out of the blue, "Shouldn't be a surprise."

The sole son in the family belonged to that one.

"I've heard that Queen Olivia has a wicked temper and is quite short tempered. "

"And what are you staring at?" His mother lost it and started yelling about Ella, who had been witnessing the entire thing from the sidelines.

Slowly and discretely,Ella averted her sight and departed.

In a spacious and well designed room. Two ladies and a few helpers stood there, expressionless.

There was a glimpse of Queen Natasha as she sat on the bed, her eyes puffy from crying. ...and the other two ladies stood by, encouraging her to take up childbearing.

The one holding the baby begged, "Please, My Queen."

"While I can appreciate your pain, please remember that this is your actual body. She needs your nurturing touch and the nourishment you can provide. Please.."

Queen Elizabeth said, rather hoarsely, "I hate repeating myself, Hira."

Her utterly harsh and agonized scream.

Remove the oath from me. "I want a MALE, not a FEMALE!"

Chapter 6

She grabbed one of the fruit dishes next to her and shattered it on the floor.

Hira. A midwife delivered the baby. For nearly an hour, she begged the Queen to let her cuddle her newborn, but the Queen refused and has been behaving irrationally since since she discovered she had given birth to a girl. But you want her to be where?" What's the matter with you? Natasha gave Hira a scowl in response to her anxious question.

"I COULD NOT CARE LESS, Hira. Bring her to my mom so she may be reunited with her sibling. I don't want either of my daughters to be around me! "She made a barking noise.

"When she is old enough, you may give her to your mom. However, she is still a baby and need care and attention for the time being. Queen, I beg you, please help her. Keep in mind that you were responsible for her well-being for nine months when she was in your womb. Don't forget that you're a woman, too. Please.."

At that moment, the door opened, and everyone saw and felt Queen Olivia enter inside.

Since the room was spacious, Olivia had plenty of time to study Natasha's pitiful countenance before having to leave the comfort of her bed to exit the room. Her servant was following close behind.

Natasha met her with a stare, her chest heaving and falling as she did so.

The ladies and maids surrounding the bed bowed and said, "Greetings, My Queen," as soon as Olivia climbed in.

"Oh! Howdy, folks! Olivia attempted to put on a sad expression, but she only smiled and looked at Natasha again.

Hello, Her Majesty Queen Natasha.

I said, "What do you want?" Natasha reacted angrily, her fists clenching; Olivia, meantime, was having a hard time hiding her grins.

"Have patience, honey. My intention is not to cause difficulty. Actually." She halted, then turned to her servant to give the go-ahead to continue carrying the fruit basket.

I drove here just to hand these to you.

When the maid deposited the basket of fruit on the bed next to Natasha, she bowed to the woman on the bed.

When I heard you were tucked into bed, I hurried to the store to get some fruit to eat and refresh you.

Natasha took several of the fruits out of the basket and tossed them in Olivia's way before she could complete her sentence.

"You monster, you, leave my chamber right now!" There was an angry cuss on her part.

I don't want your damned company or even a pin from you. Now, leave!!

Olivia's suppressed grin emerged at last. Seeing her happy made me feel wonderful inside.

"Natasha, will you just take a deep breath and relax? Exactly why are you so enraged? "She asked in a level tone.

"Did I make a mistake by bringing you nutritions?" Or am I the reason your daughter's father got her the nickname "Badnews?"

A sparkle appeared in Natasha's eyes.

"No...!!!!!!!!!" Her voice rising to a shout, she tossed the whole basket of nutritions on the ground.

As in, "I despise you, Olivia! HATE YOU!!!! Guards!! "Get away of here!

Natasha was ripped to shreds by Olivia's threatening and disdainful laughter.

When the midwives saw that the Queen was making things worse for the injured mother, they debated asking her to leave. However, no one wanted to risk getting on Olivia's bad side, since they were all aware of her lethal potential.

After saying her goodbyes, Olivia added, "Enjoy your sadness, Natasha."

It was as usual in the kitchen, with Ella slaving away at attempting to whip up something for dinner.

Something was off, and she had no idea which one of them it was.

She had overheard them yelling and racing about. But she couldn't inquire or pry since she wasn't really a member of the family.

She didn't go anywhere, other than the kitchen, where she stayed and continued doing what she did best: cooking.

In contrast to previously, when the sounds of people walking past filled her ears, the area was now peaceful and silent.

Her food was in the oven, but while she was waiting,

With a grin on her face, she made her way to the window and gazed out at the peaceful scene beyond.

As a result, Ella began to worry what may be happening outside with the King. It's unclear why he called for a complete shutdown.

As she was looking out the window, she heard a scream and hastily turned aside.

"Snow!" Afraid of the loudness of her scream, Rebecca called out.

As in, "Oh, Mom! Oh no! Help! She seems to be passing out.

Snow, the eldest daughter, was placing her family in a difficult position as her illness worsened.

While she had been feeling a little under the weather the day before, nobody could have predicted how bad things would develop.

Her father went over to the bed and sat down in front of her, watching her closely.

" snow, please..." The mom flinched in pain. Her dad remarked, "The whole mountain is under lockdown."

We are unable to get a physician or any supplies from the market. But....if we could acquire some hem leaves, I believe it might help bring down the temperature.

Is there a departure of some Olive? Asked Lisa.

However, there are no Olive leaves around. Not until we go into the vicinity of the cave, however. "Are you implying that there's no hope of Snow's life being saved?" Her mom cried.

"Please.! Obviously, someone has to go get it.

"No way, mom! Why do you think the King ordered a lockdown? We've been requested that everyone should remain inside..."

That's when she let out a scream.

"Please, " she can't take this any longer.

They gazed at one other for what seemed like forever until Lisa offered an idea.

"Why don't we.. send Ella to go for us?"

"Mother, Why don't we.."

"What?? "What the heck are you talking about?" Instinctively, Rebecca tensed up.

"Where do you suggest we send Ella?" It doesn't alter the reality that she'll be murdered as soon as she's caught a.

That leaves us with no choice but to do this, Rebecca. Tell me, "What do you propose we do?" The grouchy Lisa moaned.

"Snow is thawing, and since we can't go out to collect the leaves, Ella should. After all, she's always been the one to deliver the message. "

Rebecca looked to her parents, praying they weren't giving it any thought.

"Mother.."

Her mother broke her off abruptly: "Go fetch Ella," staring down at her comatose daughter.

"Get her today! "

"Father..!" She faced her dad for help.

"Don't ignore your mom's advice, Rebecca. "Putting his hands on his waist, he said, "We don't have an alternative," and Lisa hurriedly exited the room to go collect Ella.

When all of a sudden, Ella heard the door open and Lisa run in, she was in the middle of stirring the contents of the pot.
