"Yes, I believe," I replied quickly because hearing his nonsense made my blood boil even more.

"What exactly happened that you called me a week ago?" he asked while scratching his head.

I'm sure her head wasn't itching, and she must have asked that stupid question to get my eyes off her face.

"Nothing happened, I just missed you." I replied with a gentle smile because I had also told Beta that yesterday's events did not need to be told to Alpha.

Willy looked at me with a pleading gaze. "I'm sorry I've been so busy lately and I promise once this matter is over, we'll spend a lot of time together and it looks like I have to go first, the Red Pack Alpha requested a surprise meeting."

Willy finally came home on my birthday and didn't ask me why I was in the hospital; my being here was also his doing. He was the one who betrayed me, but I was the one who got hurt.

"I'm fine, you don't have to worry." I forced a smile even though my heart was broken as the scent of the bitch on his body grew thicker.
