I still had no idea what was going on, even when Zane was gone. ‘What has gotten into him? Didn’t I give in to him?’
System was none the wiser. [I can feel his rage, but he seems upset at the wrong thing.]
I was not having it. ‘He ditched me and stormed off. Isn’t that good enough?’
System could not put its finger on the matter.
However, System picked up on the way Zane looked at me before he took off. It seemed he was more turned on than annoyed.
…
The last scene was about walking all over Damian Sheffield, a total crybaby.
The assignment was to stage a dramatic act of abuse where I would call him my pet.
I rubbed my chin. ‘That’s pretty intense. Sure, he’s a pushover, but he might be mad enough to take a swing at me.’
System: [Relax, Host. I will send you back to your world once you run the entire script in three days.]
It was all the assurance I needed.
With the get-out-of-jail-free card, I could blow the whole thing up.
Late at night, I snuck into Damian’s residence and used chains to secure his neck and bound his hands and feet to the four posts of his bed.
Damian opened his eyes in a daze and asked in a fluster, “Willow, what are you doing here? Why am I tied up?”
I stood on the bed, my heel pressing under his chin. As if that was not enough, I spoke in a teasing, suggestive tone.
“What’s wrong? Don’t you like this?
“Too bad, I love it.”
The tip of my heel traced a line along his body, and he began to tremble.
I thought Damian would burst into tears in humiliation and end me in rage.
However, he simply pursed his lips and stared at me, his gaze dark and intense.
“Willow, since when are you into these games?
“Are you doing these things to me alone or the others too?”
I lowered my gaze at him in shock.
Surprisingly, Damian was not mad at all. He was supposed to be the sweetest, most well-mannered crybaby.
System kept urging me to unleash torture.
The point was to make him cry.
Once I was done with the final scene, I would go back to my world as a billionaire.
Steeling myself, I whacked a rope hard against Damian’s chest.
“The treatment is exclusive to you. I love you the most.”
“Snap!” The sound was crisp and sharp.
The rope marked Damian’s chest with a thin red welt.
Damian looked up at me with teary eyes and rasped out, “It hurts, Willow.”
“It’s supposed to hurt.”
It would be weird if he did not feel any pain from taking the beating.
I roughed him up and delivered the rest of my lines.
“Damian, this is proof of my affection for you. Do you like it?
“You’re only fit to be my pet for the rest of your life, understand?”
The man in my captivity suddenly looked me straight in the eyes. “The rest of my life? Are you going to stay with me forever?”
I blurted without thinking, “No.”
Why would I even stick around? I’d be going back home in my world after finishing the scene tonight.
The smile on Damian’s face vanished, and he abruptly broke free and threw me onto the bed.
Infuriated, Damian pressed his lips tightly together, his eyes raw with veins.
“Willow, you can’t just toy with me when you plan to walk away straight after.”
I was taken aback to see Damian looking hurt and furious.
Out of my three assigned targets, Damian was the most gullible. He would never raise his hand or his voice. All he did was cry.
Yet, Damian was retaliating and questioning me for once.
Something did not seem right. Instead of getting mad about the unnecessary force, Damian was focused on something else.
Before reality caught up to me, Damian’s lips claimed mine in a heated kiss.
My eyes widened in shock.
Holy moly!
The most harmless crybaby stole my first kiss.
My mind went blank. In a moment of clarity, I bit down hard, shoved him away, and scrambled for my life.
Then came System’s notification once I took shelter at home.
[Congratulations on completing the wicked villainess’ storyline. Only thirty minutes remain on the countdown to your return to your world.]
My cheeks were burning, and my head was a whirlwind of emotions up until that point. A wave of thrill washed over me.
My heart was racing, and my hands were shaking.
That was right. I must not forget that none of this was real. The only reality of mine was back home.
I was dying to get back home and be a billionaire.
Before my departure, System asked me to write an email to the three of them. The message should come from the heart, and I would get a bonus.
It was all the motivation I needed to type furiously on the keypad.
“Dear Maddox, what’s the point of all that muscle? All that training makes you a blockhead, not a man of class like Zane. He’s refined and proud. Now, that’s my type. Now, run along somewhere.”
“Dear Zane, I can’t stand your poker face. What’s the matter? Are your cheeks sagging so much that you can’t smile? Next to Maddox’s build and Damian’s face, you’re just second-rate.”
“Dear Damian, it’s true that you’re lovely and adorable, but the world has so much to offer. I can’t be tied down to one person. I’ve got plenty more cuties to cuddle. Goodbye, crybaby. I won’t miss you.”
With three minutes left on the countdown, the recipients of my emails showed up outside my residence.
As the countdown hit its final minute, Damian was the first to reach me, even the corners of his eyes tinged with red.
He grabbed my wrist, his ever-smiling dimples gone.
“Where are you going? Didn’t you say that you love me the most?”
It was ten seconds left on the clock, and something in me snapped because I got on my tiptoes and gave him a peck. Then, a wicked smile stretched across my face.
“Damian, every little thing I’ve done for you these years was fake. The only thing I ever meant was to beat you up. With so many great catches out there, I can’t possibly just settle for you.
“Consider the kiss a treat. You’re welcome. Ta-ta!”
The countdown struck zero, and I was pulled out of the world, vanishing into thin air.
The world went silent.
Damian’s bloodshot eyes flickered menacingly. “System.”
System’s synthetic voice trembled. [My Lord.]
Damian sneered, “Bring her back to me.”
Back in my world, I completely let loose.
I could not wipe the smile off my face when staring at the nine-figure balance in my bank account.
It was time to party at the bar that night. I hired eight hunks, ready for some fun. Just as I was about to get handsy, everything disappeared before my eyes.
My eyes opened to a place that was all too familiar and terrifying.
I was in Damian’s bedroom.
The shock and panic overtook my every being.
Why was I back again?
I turned back and saw Damian lounging on a sofa.
No longer meek, Damian curled his lips in a knowing smile while fiddling with a pair of handcuffs.
He spoke with deliberate measure, “Welcome home, Willow.”
