"Nolan I think we are having the baby." Avery a beautiful woman who is in her early twenties said to her husband as she pants in pain, sweat dripping from her forehead.

Nolan immediately called in the midwives to help in delivering the baby...

In a moment a midwife in her late forties came running into the room and said.

"Alpha, if you would please give us the room."

Nolan left the room at the request of the midwife, he stood outside the door, pacing and pacing hoping nothing bad happens to his wife and baby.

"Luna Avery, I need you to be strong for the baby okay?" Jennifer said

"Okay" Avery said and nodded

"Push..." At Jennifer's command, Avery began to push hard to best of her abilities.

Jennifer kept reassuring her that everything would be fine and with her encouragement Avery finally gave birth.

"It's a girl..." Jennifer announced

After bathing the little child, Jennifer went outside to call on Nolan who was waiting patiently by the door.

When he heard the news, his heart was calm at the revelation, he immediately rushed in to see his wife and daughter.

"Congratulations Alpha." Jennifer said

"How is she?" Nolan asked Jennifer referring to his wife.

"She's safe, Alpha Nolan. She's just a bit tired she would be up on her feet soon enough." Jennifer said and handed the little girl over to Nolan.

Nolan carried her in his arms looking lovingly at the little creature...

"She's beautiful." He exclaimed

"You're right Alpha, she is a beauty... well I'll leave the cleaning to the maids." Jennifer said and left

Nolan kept looking at his wife and daughter who were sleeping soundly...

The next morning Avery woke up only to find Nolan watching over her

"Good morning my love." Nolan greeted

"Morning, have you been up all night?" Avery asked partially weak.

"Well of course, I couldn't get my eyes off my beautiful wife and daughter." Nolan said smiling widely

"It's a girl, I guess I was too weak to stay awake to know it's gender. Where did you lay her?" Avery asked although tired, you could still sense the excitement in her voice.

"Her crib is just right here beside you." Nolan said, he then carefully picked the little girl and handed her to her mother.

"She's so beautiful." Avery exclaimed happily

"I know right? She is a beauty goddess." Nolan said

"What shall we name her?" Avery asked

"Hm I was thinking the exact same thing all through the night, what about we name her Valentina, is that okay?" Nolan said unsure

"Valentina it is, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Avery said

"But of course we need to announce to our pack members and also invite some of our friends like the Walker's." Nolan said happily

"Yeah right, I can't wait to see dear Madison again." Avery said

"I'll make preparations, you just rest." Nolan said

"Well I need to take a shower and also eat breakfast, I am starving." Avery said

"I already made preparations for breakfast after you take a shower, I'll ask the servants to serve breakfast." Nolan said

After breakfast, Nolan began making preparations to announce to the pack the gender of his child and to invite his friends to come celebrate with him.

THE CRESCENT WOLF PACK

A few miles away from Silver Moon Pack lies the Crescent Wolf Pack...

"Honey, I still can't believe Avery already gave birth... and she invited us to the naming." Madison said as she reads a text on her phone.

"Oh Nolan called last night and told me already about that." Miles said indifferent

"What!!! So he already told you about it and you didn't bother to tell me." Madison said pulling her husband's ear

"Ouch! That hurts..." Miles said as he held his ear when it was finally released from a tight grip.

"That's for lying to me and not telling me about it." Madison said

"I am so sorry my dear, I just forgot to, that's all." Miles said apologetically

"Apology accepted, so is Ryan coming with us?" Madison asked, although she already has her own plans in motion and her original plan was for Ryan to go with them... she has always prayed that her son would form a marriage alliance with the Hudson's and since they gave birth to a daughter, it further made her want her wishes to come true.

"Oh he can if he wishes to." Miles said causally

"He is surely coming whether he likes it or not." Madison said as she makes way to the kitchen

"Do you want to stay at home and take care of the kids?" Miles asked

"Hell No, I am coming with you... I'll just ask the Nanny to take care of our baby girl. Can't have another baby girl crying so loudly while we visit." Madison said

"Okay." Miles said and shrugged

"Oh it's almost time for dinner, I'll join the maids in the kitchen." Madison said

"Okay love." Miles replied

Madison left to the kitchen to help Lisa after setting the table everyone came downstairs to eat

"Ryan dear, you'll be accompanying me and your father to the Silver Moon Pack." Madison said to her son

"Why should I mom?" Ryan asked

"Do you dare question my authority? Look son you are coming with us end of discussion." Madison said

"Sorry Mom..." Ryan said apologetically

"Good, eat, go on..." Madison said when she saw that Ryan wasn't eating.

After dinner, Miles and Madison retired to their rooms after tucking five year old Ryan and his 4 months old little sister to sleep.

"Sweetheart, you shouldn't have yelled at the poor boy back at dinner he felt so scared." Miles said to his wife as they got to their room to spend the night

"Well he should be, I am his mom after all. Besides that son of yours, is becoming slightly stubborn, look at the way he turned me down when I said he was coming with us. I had to say that to bring him on the right track besides we were fine this evening." Madison said as she laid on her bed

"Fine sweetie, let's go to bed... I am really tired." Miles said

Madison only rolled her eyes and said

"Fine then, since you are tired... let's go to bed."

Miles smiled at her and kissed her and they both cuddled in each other's arms.

THE BLACK WOLF PACK

There Nathan Hunter, the Alpha of the pack was talking to his elders

"We need to form an alliance with the Crescent Wolf Pack." He said

"And for what reason?" One of the elders questioned

"Because you see, they can be a valuable asset to us and to our cause. I mean imagine what we could actually gain from them with their influence we would be one of the most feared pack." Alpha Nathan said

"That would be good but only if we can get them on our side and if they agree to our peace treaty." another elder said

Nathan continued

"The peace treaty would be between me and the current Alpha Miles and it would be renewed when my son and his, take over the packs..."

"Wonderful idea Nathan, that's a brilliant idea. So when are you going to send the invitation to them about what we just discussed?" The lead elder asked

"Soon I can assure you." Nathan promised and the elders left his house and soon after they left, his wife came in swaying her hips...

"Dear how was the meeting?" Stella asked

"It went well my dear, I can't believe they agreed to it so easily... now all we have to do is to convince the Walker's of our plans." Nathan said

"I am so happy for you, let's head down for dinner." Stella said

"It's about time, I am starving." Nathan said

And they both headed downstairs

"Emily, Alex... time for dinner." Stella called out loudly to her kids, and a five year old girl and her twin brother who was rubbing his stomach mischievously came to the dinning.

"Good evening mom and dad." Emily greeted

Alex on the other hand just sat on his chair without saying a word

"Alex aren't you going to greet mom and dad?" Emily his twin sister asked but the latter didn't care

"Oh just forget about that Emily dear, let's eat." Stella said covering up her son's unruly behavior

"So daddy how was your meeting?" Emily asked

"It went well my dear." Nathan answered

"Okay Dad." Emily said and everyone ate their dinner in silence.

The next day Miles and Madison Walker as well as their son Ryan, were on their way to the Silver Moon Pack as planned.

As the trio arrived at the home of their friend Nolan, they were welcomed warmly.

"Miles..." Nolan greeted upon setting eyes on his dearest friend.

"Nolan my buddy, long time no see." Miles said

And the duo hugged each other affectionately

"It's been a while Nolan." Madison said and she hugged him as well

"Where is Avery? I really need to see her right now." Madison said in a hurry with excitement

"Calm down Maddy, I am sure you'll both talk soon eno..." Miles said and Madison glared daggers at him

Madison mind linked her husband immediately, and began yelling.

"You've seen your friend why stop me from seeing mine?" She said

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to, I was just..." Miles wanted to say but was cut off

"Young man you better not say another word to annoy me else you'll be punished severely for it." Madison said

"Yes your royal highness." Miles said

Their thoughts were distracted by their son's voice.

"Hello uncle." Ryan greeted humbly with his little voice

"Oh Ryan, I didn't even notice you were there. Your parents directed my attention somewhere else, wow look at you, you've gotten a bit taller." Nolan said patting his head.

Ryan only smiled at him

"Uncle, where is aunt and the baby?" Ryan asked

"Everyone please this way." Nolan said

And they all headed to his bedroom, where Avery was sleeping peacefully.

When the door cringed open, everyone got in and found the new mother and daughter sleeping side by side.

When Avery heard footsteps she woke up and was surprised to see her best friend in her room so she called out

"Madison?"

"Oh my dear Avery how are you? It's so good to see you are up... congratulations my dear." Madison said

"Thanks Madison." Avery said smiling

"Hi aunt." Ryan greeted

"Oh my! Ryan you are here. You've grown so tall." Avery said

"Congratulations Avery." Miles greeted as well

"Thanks Miles." Avery replied

"So I already prepared a room close to ours you would be spending the night there." Nolan said

"Thanks Nolan, that's very generous of you." Miles said

"Uncle where is the baby?" Ryan asked

"Right this way." Nolan said

On getting to the crib where little Valentina was laid, Ryan's eyes lit up...

She is the most beautiful baby he had ever seen.

"She is beautiful, uncle, what's her name?" Ryan asked yet again

"Everyone meet Valentina our daughter." Nolan said

"You do have a good eye Ryan, she is really beautiful." Miles said admiring the little girl

After a while Miles then said to his son who couldn't take his eyes off the baby, he was playing with the baby's little fingers and just couldn't stop

After hours he still wouldn't budge from her side, he just held onto little Valentina's hands unmoved that his father had to say,

"Ryan you can go to the room to rest now, its already late. Come on son."

"No Dad, I want to stay with her a little longer Please?" Ryan said with pleading eyes, he really didn't want to leave her side for any reason.

"Come on Ryan, it's way past your bedtime, okay? You'll see her tomorrow." Madison said to her son

Ryan knows better than to disobey his mother so he obliged

"Okay mum." Ryan said feeling sad and went to the room prepared for him.

An hour later, Madison went into the room prepared for them and they slept off.

THE NEXT DAY

Avery and Nolan had both woken up for the activities of the day.

It is the day for the naming and introduction of their newly born child to the entire pack of the Silver Moon Pack.

Ryan woke up earlier than supposed and went to the crib, he heard the baby was crying so he quickly ran towards the crib she was placed in.

Ryan came and held its little hand and she calmed down. Due to that little gesture, little Valentina stopped crying.

Nolan and Avery were both surprised to see this, they looked at each other with questioning looks plastered on their faces.

"Good morning Nolan." Miles greeted

"Morning Miles, hope you slept well." Nolan said

"I did, the bed was soothing, um, have you seen Ryan, he wasn't in bed when I woke up." Miles said

"He is with the baby." Nolan said

"Huh!! With the baby, so early? That's a surprise." Miles said because he knows his son isn't a morning type.

"Yeah, the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that when the baby was crying, he just held her hand and that was it, she just stopped crying." Nolan said

"Are you serious?" Miles asked in bewilderment

"I am serious, if you doubt me ask Avery, she witnessed it with me." Nolan said

"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Miles said

"I believe I am." Nolan replied

They laughed and then Miles said

"Come on let's not make assumptions just yet, where is Avery?"

"She has regained her strength, it would seem because, she offered to head to the kitchen to make some meals." Nolan said

"Okay, then I better go look for Madison." Miles said

"There is no need to look for me, I am here." Madison said and turned to Nolan and asked "Hey Nolan, have you seen Avery?"

"In the kitchen." Nolan said

"In the kitchen? Whatever for?" Madison asked surprised

"To help out or oversee I guess." Nolan said

"She just delivered a child and now she is in the kitchen of all places? I better go to her." Madison said and left.

"Avery darling, what on earth are you doing in here?" Madison asked as soon as she stepped into the kitchen

"Helping out with the pies, it's the naming today." Avery said

"Of course I know that, you are covered in flours. Come on you just gave birth to a child, you should be regaining your strength you know." Madison said

"Yeah, but sitting idle and letting people do things for me isn't my thing, you know that." Avery said

"Hm... Since you are being this adamant there is no talking you out of this, is there?" Madison said knowing her friend

"That seems to be the case." Avery said calmly and smiling

"You are so stubborn, Avery. Fine will help you out with this." Madison said rolling up the sleeves of her night pyjamas

"You are our guest Madison, you shouldn't be here." Avery said

"Say that again, and I will pull you out of the kitchen myself." Madison said sternly

"Fine, I can't disagree with you." Avery said

They both chuckled and helped the maids out in making a huge breakfast and of course dishes for the naming.

By 11:00 A.M everyone gathered in the gardens at the Villa where chairs and tables were set.

Everyone were chattering away happily, it is of course a joyous day.

The Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack is happy, so his pack must be.

Nolan stood proud on the podium, situated at the middle of the town with his beloved wife beside him, holding an infant in her arms.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on the little baby with admiration.

"Everyone, today is the introduction of a new born child, Alpha Nolan and Luna Avery's. We are here today to celebrate a new life and an addition to the Silver Moon Pack, beloved werewolves... I present to you a special and wonderful gift from the moon goddess, a baby with Alpha blood twice, my daughter and the future of the entire pack... I present to you Valentina Hudson, your future Alpha." Nolan said as he raised his daughter up for the crowd and they all said happily and in unison

"Yay!!!"

Someone in the crowd then chanted

"All hail the moon goddess."

"Hail the moon goddess, Hail the moon goddess, Hail the moon goddess..." Everyone present cheered.

A round of applause, joy, happiness filled the entire Pack.

"My beloved Pack, it is time to eat and enjoy to your fill. It is time to celebrate this auspicious day with your Alpha... Silver Moon Pack, Enjoy!" Nolan said

"Yay!!!" They chanted as Alpha Nolan accompanied by his beautiful wife walked away from the podium.

The cookies, pies and dishes, everything prepared earlier with Avery and Madison's help were shared to the entire pack, they ate and partied all day.

"Ryan come over here, come take some cookies." Madison said calling her son

"Mum I am full now, I want to stay with baby Valentina." Ryan said

"Hm, are you sure you don't want these delicious cookies?" Avery said holding a well shaped huge cookie.

Seeing how tasty it looks Ryan said

"Just one bite aunt."

"*giggles* here you go my sweet sweet boy." Avery said

After handing over the cookie to Ryan who was hell bent on not leaving baby Valentina's side.

Avery then signalled Madison and they both went to a secluded corner and began discussing.

"Don't you think its a bit weird for Ryan to want to be by the baby's side all day long?" Avery asked

"Maybe its just admiration, though he is a little bit clingy with Valentina than when his sister was born. But I think he just likes babies." Madison said

"Its because you didn't see what Nolan and I saw this morning, if you did you might change your thoughts." Avery said

"What was it? Come on tell me, did something extraordinary happen?" Madison said

"Ryan woke up very early today and sat down with the baby." Avery said

"Really?" Madison asked

"That's not even the iceberg." Avery said

"Come on tell me, you know I love gists..." Madison said and they both giggled

"Ryan soothed the little baby who was crying by just holding her little hand." Avery said

"Are you serious?" Madison asked

"Yeah I am, ask Nolan if you think otherwise... It was surprising yet amusing." Avery said

"The thing is, Ryan has this special gift. I think he'll manifest Alpha tendencies at a young age." Madison said

"Wow!!!" Avery said

"I wish they would be mated, I have always wanted us to be in-laws." Madison said

"That would be remarkable, and the best gift the moon goddess can give either of us." Avery said

"What are you both discussing about, leaving the kids alone together?" Nolan asked as he came looking for the women

"Just telling her about what we saw this morning." Avery said to her husband

"I already told Miles about it." Nolan said

"And that man didn't tell me about it?" Madison asked

"Oops, my bad, Miles is in a whole lot of trouble then." Nolan said

"Believe me when I say tons of it." Madison said

"Let's go check on the kids." Avery said

"Sure." Madison said and they all went back into the room

Just then Miles walked

"Hey hon..." he said pecking Madison on her cheek, she allowed him only because her friends were watching... deep down she was boiling

"We need to talk dear." She whispered lovingly into his ears

"Okay" Miles said

They both left for their room, leaving Nolan and Avery as well as young Ryan in the room.

"Did something happen dear?" Miles asked

"Actually it did, did you know Ryan woke up early to stay with Valentina?" Madison asked

"Oh that, um Nolan already told me about it dear." Miles answered truthfully

"Oh I see, and you didn't even bother to tell me?" Madison said

"Sweetheart, its just a little thing, I thought it was no big deal." Miles said

"No big deal, so if your son is getting married it's no big deal right?" Madison said getting upset

"Maddy dear, come on why would you say that?" Miles asked

"I am sleeping in Ryan's room tonight. Or better yet Ryan and I would be having the room to ourselves, I would rather stay with my son who is true to his feelings and guts, than stay with my husband who is lying to me and keeping things from me, when I get back please evacuate the room." Madison said

"Honey, I am so sorry." Miles said apologizing to his wife but it fell on deaf ears

"Save your apologies... today, you are sleeping in Ryan's room tonight." Madison said and left the room leaving Miles worried.

"So guys, come on tell me how is Crescent Wolf Pack?" Nolan asked his friends as soon as they came out from their room.

"Apparently it is okay, everyone is falling in line with their Alpha's rules and all. So far, nothing has gone wrong, thanks to the moon goddess." Miles said

"That's nice, you are doing a great job." Nolan said commending his friend

"Yeah too bad the Alpha, lies to his Luna like there is no tomorrow." Madison said

"Maddy, come on not again." Miles said

"Okay calm down guys, today is all about Valentina not you two, so quit fighting like kids will you?" Avery said

"I guess you are right, sorry. But he still has to be punished for withholding stuff from me." Madison said still adamant on not letting go of the issue.

"I am certain..." Miles said

They all laughed and everyone had fun that day.

The next morning after breakfast, Madison and Miles bid their friends bye.

"Are you sure you can't spend one more day?" Avery asked

"You know how it is, the pack can't do without its Alpha and we've been away from them for too long." Miles said

"Yeah, also Sophie needs her mother, she is too tiny to be left alone." Madison said

"I wonder why you didn't bring her here.." Nolan said

"She will overshadow Valentina's cries since she is a cry baby, and it's just like you said it's all about Valentina and I wouldn't want it any other way." Madison said

"Fine, I will miss you so much Maddy." Avery said hugging her best friend

"Me too my beloved, don't worry we'll come visiting as much as we can." Madison said

"I know, can't wait to see you again." Avery said

"Likewise, let's be on our way now." Madison said

Ryan as well as his parents went back to the Crescent Wolf Pack, where they belong.

Years after years passed and little Valentina grew up, her beauty kept radiating.

BLACK WOLF PACK

Nathan who was in the midst of his elders said

"It is time for us to extend our prospect with the rest of the world"

"Not this again, all talk and no show." Elder Derrek said

"Nathan this is complete madness for the past ten years you had promised that you will extend a warm hand to the Walker's and for the past ten years the treaty hasn't been signed. May I ask what you have been doing for that long?" Another said

"Patience my dear elders, as we are all gathered here today... I am proud to inform you that I've already send word to the Walker's informing them about the peace treaty." Nathan said

"Then enlighten me on this sharing our prospect I don't understand one bit of it." one of the elders asked with a confused face.

"Well about sharing our prospect with the rest of the packs we'll discuss that on another day, but just so you all know, the Walker's would be sending word soon... and as soon as I get it, we'll assemble here to discuss our next plans."

"I just wasted my time coming here." Elder Ramos said

"Okay but make sure you don't keep us waiting for long." Elder Derrek said and left in disappointment

'I really need the Walker's influence so as to stay high and respected in my pack. If they could give me their support, I will claim the next formidable pack that is proving to be a pain to me.' Nathan thought as he paces in his office.

Just then a young fifteen year old boy came through the door way and said,

"Father why are you pacing about?"

"Alexander what are you doing in my study uninvited?" Alpha Nathaniel yelled at his son

"I saw and heard the elders talking on their way out of your office." Alexander said

"Did you by chance hear them?" Nathaniel asked

"Yes father they seem to be really pissed at you." Alex said

"Come in, come tell me what you heard them say." Nathaniel said beckoning on him to come in.

"The head elder said, you are an embarrassment in the history of all Alphas." Alexander said

"What?" Nathaniel yelled

"That's not all, they said you are too slow with your decisions, and that you have been planning a peace treaty for years now and not a single move made yet." Alexander continued

"Is that so?" Nathaniel asked just to be certain

"Yes father..." Alexander said innocently

"Okay then assemble the family right now for an emergency meeting." Nathaniel said

"Yes Father." Alex said and left to do his father's bidding.

"Nathan Hunter, what is it that you have to summon the entire family so early in the morning?" Stella asked

"We need to move fast, the elders are closing in on me and they are planning on revolting." Nathaniel said

"Why? You are the best Alpha they've had in years." Stella said mortified

"I know that except for the fact that I am yet to sign a peace treaty for ten whole years now." Nathan said disappointed

"Okay? With the Walker's I suppose." Stella said

"Exactly..." Nathaniel said

"Okay so, what would you have us do?" Stella asked her husband

"It would be best to make friends with them." Nathaniel said

"Father, I and Emily, since we both attend the same school with them and even their cousin, Theodore is in our class so we will do our best to fit in." Alex said trying to gain his father's approval

"I hate that guy, he looks at me with a weird look." Emily said

"He has a crush on you Emily." Alex said

"I don't like him one bit, there is someone else I really really like." Emily said smiling sheepishly

"Oh you mean the arrogant one Ryan? I despise him so much, he is too full of himself like he owns everything... I actually prefer Theodore to him, Theodore can be easily swayed, one of this days I will invite him over so as to establish friendship with him." Alex said

"Very good, do whatever it takes to create bonds with the Walker's. Your mother and I will make way to them after the full moon which is coming up in two days time, Emily and Alex you are in charge of watching over the pack until our return." Nathan said

"What about your beta father?" Emily asked

"He is not to be trusted and if my useless son of a child is half as dubious and well prepared as the young Walker, you would have been my beta now. And not a gamma. Get yourself together son, you are a Hunter don't disgrace me." Nathan said outrightly

"Yes father." Alex replied sadly

"I need to sign a peace treaty with the Black Wolf Pack, Aaron." Miles said to his beta

"Why? We don't need them in our lives, we are far better, stronger and even more industrious than they are." Aaron his beta said

"We aren't yet strong enough, Aaron... we need to build allies and you know that."

"And you already have allies, the Crystal Pack our dear Lunas pack is already in alliance with you what other alliance do you need?" Aaron asked

"I know out of the eight territories, we have just two alliances, my best friend Nolan's and Madison's home town, and if the black wolf pack can be added, we'll have three including us to make it four out of the eight territories... It's a win-win situation beta." Miles said

"Okay Alpha, your wish is my command." Aaron said giving up

Just then someone came and bowed, it was Alpha Miles' Omega.

"Greetings, Alpha." He said

"Report..." Alpha Miles said

"I just received words from Alpha Nathaniel, it's a request from the Hunter's." The omega said again

"What do they want?" Miles asked

"The Alpha and Luna are seeking for approval to come over for the signing of the peace treaty themselves." The omega said

"Tell them, it is a deal." Miles said

"Yes Alpha." He said and left

After dinner, Ryan and Sophie who were teasing each other, were both interrupted by their father.

"Dad, what do you want?" Ryan asked

"We need to discuss, you and I." Miles said

"Okay then, I am all ears..." Ryan said

"Sophie go to your room, its already late my little pumpkin." Miles said to his lovely daughter

"Okay dad, good night." Sophie said and after receiving a peck from her father, went to her room.

"Ryan, you are the next Alpha of the pack you need to get involved in the activities." Miles said

"Dad, I am already involved, Leo and I have been training everyday of our lives so I am not just sitting idle doing nothing." Ryan said authoritatively

Madison walked in at this time and said

"Calm down boy, he is your father."

"Yes mum." Ryan said humbly

"I am going to sign a peace treaty with the Black Wolf Pack in two days time." Miles said

"What?" Madison and Ryan both yelled out loud at the same time

"Miles, why would you want to sign a peace treaty with the enemy pack?" Madison asked

"Everyone hates them, dad. Of all Packs why them? Even Alpha Cyrus's pack despises them." Ryan said in anger

"How did you know about that son?" Miles asked

"Leo told me about his father's hatred for the Black Wolf Pack." Ryan said

"There have been a prophecy that the entire eight territories will be engulfed in a war and it can only be averted if all eight territories seek peace, that's why I am trying to stretch my hands to that of the enemy." Miles said

"Miles honey, I am very aware of that prophecy. But that doesn't mean signing a peace treaty for some years with the most hated pack will avert it. It will only cause uprisings from the other powerful packs and they might even cut ties with us." Madison said

"So what do you want us to do? Welcome them with open arms dad?" Ryan asked with disgust

"Yeah, please if you can, just do that." Miles said

"If that's all I am going to my room, it's already late... goodnight dad, goodnight mum." Ryan said and walked away

"You are the Beta in the making you need to be there in person." Miles said calling after him

"Whatever dad..." Ryan said

"Goodnight my baby boy." Madison said as Ryan walked away from their presence

"Miles are you sure this is a good idea? I mean of all the packs, why them?" Madison asked still wondering what had gotten into her husband.

"Trust me, it will be the best move, I think and besides it will make us more powerful than the rest of the four packs." Miles said

"Okay honey, whatever you say... Let's go to bed, it has been a stressful day for me." Madison said and Miles followed her to their room so they could rest for the night.

The Alpha and Luna of the Black Wolf Pack set out for the signing of the peace treaty with the Crescent Wolf Pack.

After close to four hours of driving, they finally got to the gate.

'I have waited for a long time to be able to gain passage into this beautiful territory, it has the potential of being the strongest, most successful and thriving pack. That is why, I need this peace treaty, what is theirs will be mine. As simple as that, no stress.' Nathan thought while a smirk appeared on his face.

"You seem to be happy you are doing this Alpha Nathaniel..." Stella his wife said

"Believe me when I say I am most delighted. Signing a peace treaty will mean having unlimited access to their goods, and since you seem to want to look younger in every way, their styles of fashion differs greatly from ours you see. So you could get access to their fashion brands." Nathan said to his wife

"Good, you seem to think fast, good thinking." Stella said

Just then the big and impenetrable gate began opening

"Stella be on your best behavior when we get there, we don't want to tip off our one chance at making them our followers and allies." Nathaniel said

"Believe me, for the dresses... I will be." Stella said

They got inside the gate and they were taken inside the Villa to a room so as to wait for their hosts.

"Please seat while I go get them." The maid said and left

After about thirty minutes no one came out

'What's taking them a long time to come in here?' Nathan thought

"They are taking us for granted Nathan why ask that in your thoughts rather than say it out loud?" Stella said

"Quiet down will you? the wall has ears... Behave remember?" Nathaniel said cautioning his wife

"Whatever." Stella said

Twenty minutes later, Miles and his beloved wife walked in graciously and hand in hand.

"So sorry for the delay Alpha Nathan, I welcome you to Crescent Wolf Pack." Miles said

"Thanks for welcoming us here with open arms, we are honoured to be here."

"It is my pleasure come on have a seat." Miles said

They all sat down in silence each looking at one another with different thoughts

'Her outfit looks beautiful on her, can't wait to start shopping here.' Stella thought as she looks longingly at Madison

'He looks so confident, let's see if you won't bow to me one day.' Nathaniel thought

'So old fashioned, geez they look too barbaric for my liking.' Madison thought as she stares at the two guests in front of her.

'Where could Ryan be for goddess sakes?' Miles thought

"Alpha Miles, care to get on with the signing agreement?" Nathaniel said jolting everyone back from their thoughts

"Yeah about that, my beta in the making needs to be present to witness it." Miles said

"Okay where is he?" Nathaniel asked

"He'll join us soon enough, we just need to be patient." Miles said

Just then the door opened and Ryan walked in and sat down without saying a word

"Alpha Miles why is your son here?" Nathan asked

"He is my beta in the making." Miles replied

"Oh Hi Ryan." Alpha Nathaniel greeted

"Hi Alpha Nathan" Ryan replied as humbly as he could

"Nice to meet you in person, but why aren't you in school?" Nathaniel asked

"I don't answer to you..." Ryan replied and then turned to his father and said "Dad, let's get this treaty going. Let's not delay it longer than it is supposed to be."

'What a rude little brat... If only my son is this way then I won't have to worry for my pack's future.' Nathan thought

"Indeed son, I agree." Miles replied his son and continued

"State your case Alpha Hunter, what is it you have to say?"

"Okay Alpha Walker, its just like we discussed a while back over the phone, this peace treaty will help both packs expand and claim territories." Nathan said

"I know that very well, but what's the catch?" Miles asked because he feels this isn't just a peace treaty there must be another reason why they would approach him for something like this.

"There is no catch, it is to promote peace only between the two packs and with time others will follow." Nathan said trying his best to convince Miles

"Let me see the documents." Miles said

Nathaniel immediately handed over the document of the peace treaty.

"Nathaniel, from what this place is saying this peace treaty will only last as long as you and I both are Alphas am I correct?" Miles asked after reading through

"Very correct, and when our sons take over they can as well renew it and their sons after them." Nathan said

"Nice, I will sign it hand over the pen." Miles said

"It needs a blood oath, yours and mine to seal it." Nathaniel said

"Okay then, if that's what it takes." Miles said

After contemplating, Miles scratched his thumb and blood gushed out.

He pinned his thumb on the document, Nathan did same and it became valid.

"Okay that's settled, the peace treaty is signed in our bloods. Welcome to a life of peace between us, Alpha Miles Walker..." Nathaniel said

"Yeah it is, settled. Congratulations to us." Miles said

They both shook hands and the Hunter's were about to leave when Madison said

"Luna Stella Hunter?"

"Yes Luna Madison Walker." Stella said as politely as she could

"The Lunas of the eight territories all have a meeting once each year, and this year's is postponed till next year due to some issues." Madison said

"Oh okay nice, thank you for the information." Stella said

"You are invited, if you want us to be at peace with each other, your appearance will be welcomed." Madison said

"I wouldn't miss it, thanks." Stella said

Immediately Ryan stood up from their midst and headed to the school for young werewolves.

Nathan and his wife left to their pack, because Miles and his Luna didn't feel like letting them stay, so they left the Villa and headed home to their territory...
