The Return of the Young Master: Contempt VS Revenge Chapter 1

In my previous life, I had told a lie.

I impersonated the young master of a rich family.

With fears and trepidation, I had covered up this lie for half of my life.

In the end, I suffered utter isolation and was abandoned by the family of my wife, Cecilia Jones.

If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't lie.

I would no longer like to be a rich kid.

As I woke up, I felt sore all over. Looking around, I was back in my home in the slums.

I grew up here, and I woke up in a bit of a trance.

Didn't I get pushed down the hill by Cecilia and die?

"You are no longer valuable. Honey, get me some insurance instead, okay?" Cecilia's words were still echoing in my ears, but why was I suddenly back here?

My body also became smaller.

I guessed I had been reborn.

In my previous life, I felt sore every time I woke up because I had an endless amount of work to do.

I was always covered in scars, and my skin was rough.

Later, I was taken back by the Kingsley family and became a rich young master.

I had tried everything to marry the woman my brother, Zachary, loved, and I had suffered utter isolation.

I was wondering if my family would be happier when I died.

As I glanced at the calendar, the following week was the day that the Kingsley family came to take me. I could remember they had sent a lot of people, who filled the yard.

A man asked me if I was a child of my family, I was afraid and said, "No."

The man brought me back to the Kingsley Manor, and he said I was the lost young master.

Back then, I assumed that the Kingsley family wanted to take the neighbor's boy who was about my age, but the boy wasn't home, so they mistook me for him and took me away.

I thought they took the wrong one, so I lived in fear at the Kingsley family to hide my identity.

If someone were to take me away again this time, I would say this was my home.

I would have an easier life here.

For the past few days, I had forgotten what it was like to live a hard life in my previous life.

All I thought about every day was how I could make money.

In my previous life, I returned to the Kingsley Manor, but the Kingsley family were very bothered by this child from the slums.

They didn't expect me to be abandoned there.

They wanted to try to make it up for me, but they also despised me at the same time.

So, they desperately wanted me to study, but they wouldn't give me any money.

I wondered if the things I learned in my previous life would be useful to me this time, and if I suffered those for nothing.

I was hungry, so I hurriedly picked some vegetables from the field to cook.

I cleaned the house after I got full.

After all, I wouldn't go to the Kingsley Manor this time, and I had to live here all my life.

I could take it before, but after spending so much time at the Kingsley Manor, I couldn't stand the place I was living in now.

On the afternoon of a few days later, when I returned home from work, I saw those who were supposed to be in the yard.

The man frowned, "Are you the child of this family?"

I told him loudly this time with my head up, "Yeah, what's up?"

I thought, "I'll never have to suffer poverty and disgrace in the Kingsley family again in this life."

However, the man waved his hand and said, "Take him away."

Even though it was the same question and a different answer than in my previous life, the result was the same.

I was taken back to the Kingsley Manor. Why were the servant so casual? They got it wrong again.

I had finished cleaning the house and hoeing the ground, and I wanted to make money.

How could I come back again?

Although I was taken back to the Kingsley Manor in my previous life, I didn't have a penny for myself.

However, after I got Zachary's girlfriend, Cecilia, she found out that I had no money and was abandoned by my family.

She was extremely annoyed, and she eventually pushed me down the hill, and I died.

As I entered, I saw their familiar expressions. Zachary was frowning, my sister, Susan, was disgusted with me, my father, Brad, wasn't home, and my mother, Laura, was belittling me.

"You got the wrong guy, and I'm not your family. Let me get back."

Laura no longer looked like she did in her previous life this time. Instead, she wrapped her arms around me in concern.

It seemed that her annoyed expression in my last life was that she thought I was a materialistic person.

I thought, "No matter what I have answered, it comes out this way. Why did they ask me? Can't I change the fate of certain death?"

With this question in mind, I entered the room that the Kingsley family had offered me, which was at the entrance of the first floor staircase, close to the servants. They told me that it was convenient to take care of me.

I was the one who strayed, and it was me who was found and brought home, but why did they treat me with such contempt?

When I first returned to the Kingsley Manor in my previous life, I felt like everyone had wronged me, so I kept asking for more.

I hid away silently this time, and I planned to get out of here as soon as I could survive on my own.

I didn't want to annoy anyone.
