My Husband's Company was Given to Another Woman Chapter 1

I had a hemorrhage while pregnant, but my husband was with Cindy White who was having a depressive episode.

I called my husband for help, but he thought I was acting and snorted out a laugh.

"Stop pretending. I said I went to accompany Cindy in the middle of the night because I was afraid something would happen to her. Can't you stop being so petty?"

"She's an orphan and she has depression. Why don't you have any sympathy at all?"

As soon as he finished speaking, my phone ran out of battery and shut down.

I could only keep calling for help, but it was late at night and no one answered at all.

But I was still bleeding continuously...

——

As a pregnant woman, I received intimate photos of my husband and Cindy in bed, which made me furious and I fell down the stairs in anger.

I had multiple bruises all over my body, several broken bones, and I was bleeding profusely, with blood staining the hem of my skirt.

My husband was with Cindy in the neighboring community. In order to quickly get to the hospital, I called him for help.

He was impatient and said, "Winnie Lincoln, are you done yet? I have told you many times that I am innocent with Cindy."

"Cindy is an orphan and has depression. She is already pitiful enough. Do you have to argue with a helpless and depressed patient?"

Cindy's depression always struck in the middle of the night. She called Chris Hill every time and cried to him.

Chris, regardless of the wind and rain, immediately rushed to accompany her every time and stayed until the early hours of the morning before returning.

Now was not the time to argue about this. I begged for help in panic, "Chris, come back quickly."

"I am pregnant and now I'm bleeding profusely from falling down the stairs."

Chris paused for a moment and then sneered, "Winnie, now you're even making up lies like being pregnant in order to trick me into coming back."

"You are both women. Why can't you learn from Cindy and be obedient? You always cause trouble like a shrew, very annoying."

If Cindy were obedient, how could she seduce someone else's husband?

I only found out that I was two months pregnant not long ago, and I had originally called to inform him.

But at that time, he was with Cindy and impatiently hung up my phone.

I was about to explain, but Cindy’s pitiful voice interrupted me.

"Chris, did Winnie have an accident? It's all my fault."

"You should go back and accompany her. I'm fine. I just sometimes have a proneness to depression."

Chris didn't show the slightest bit of annoyance or perfunctory behavior when he faced Cindy. Instead, he gently comforted her with a soft voice.

"She must be pretending. Even if she really fell, could she die from it?"

"But if I leave, what if something happens to you? I won't go anywhere tonight. I'll just stay by your side and accompany you."

Chris's sweet voice made me sick. How dared he say that he and Cindy were innocent?

But I knew that it was not the time to dwell on this. My eyes turned red and I said with a sobbing voice.

"Chris, I really didn't lie to you. I just found out that I was pregnant not long ago, and I didn't have time to tell you before the accident happened."

"Please come back quickly and send me to the hospital, okay?"

Chris remained indifferent, "Are you abnormal? Why do you talk nonsense every day? If you're sick, go get treated. Don't bother me."

After saying that, he hung up the phone.

What was worse was that the phone had already run out of battery and shut down.

I was desperate. I was still bleeding and every part of my body was in pain, making me unable to move at all.

I stroked my slightly gathered abdomen and suddenly regretted choosing to be with Chris.

Chris and I had been together for eight years, since college.

At that time, he had just broken up with Cindy, and he was depressed and listless.

As the class's psychological counselor, in order to help him get out of the shadow of the breakup, as long as there were group activities, I would invite him to join.

Gradually, we discovered that we had many common interests, and then we naturally got together.

There were pictures of us hanging all over the house, with all the places we had traveled together.

He said he wanted to take me all over the world, and also said he wanted to hold hands with me and grow old together.

Chris also liked children. When he bought this house, he planned a baby room.

He also bought a lot of baby toys and baby clothes.

He said he wanted to have a beautiful girl like me and a boy like him. He wanted to make me and our children the happiest people in the world.

There was no doubt that he loved me and the children at that time.

It was just that this love had an expiration date. Now he took it back when the time came.
