Chapter 8

I quietly observed the scene here at the top of a building outside the town with the prince. He was in awe of the colorful scenery up here, I rolled my eyes. The lights are so painful to the eyes, it would be nice if there were fires and many screaming human souls asking for help.

"It's really beautiful here," Pavel said with a smile so I looked at him, he was smiling while looking at the scenery. My eyes squinted, poor creature, it just came here.

He suddenly looked at me so I looked away, I heard his laugh so I was in agony. Does this one always laugh? What's so funny? Is he crazy?

"Thank you." Suddenly he said that made me stop. I slowly looked at him. He looked at me while smiling.

"Thank you for bringing me to this place, this is a night I will never forget." He said with a smile, my eyes widened as he suddenly came to me and hugged me.

I closed my eyes because of the images that suddenly appeared in my mind. I swallowed and immediately pushed Pavel away from me. He looked at me in shock so his eyes narrowed.

"I told you not to touch me," I said so he laughed and put his hand on his head.

"Sorry, I can't help it, because this is the first time someone brought me here," he said and looked at the scene again. I kept staring at him. I can't rest anymore, I'm confused. What are these things I see every time he touches me or our skins touch?

What are those images? I feel real but how did that happen?

I took a deep breath, I don't have to find out what those images are, my only goal here is to make him bad to finish my mission.

"By the way, what time are we going home?" He asked and looked at me.

"It's your choice," I said, then felt my back and took the bag I had been carrying earlier.

"Oh." I then gave him the bag, which he immediately caught.

"What is this?" He asked, making me cringe.

"Open that so you know." I then lie down on the floor and close my eyes.

Suddenly, the surroundings became quiet so I frowned and opened my eyes and then looked at Pavel, his eyes were wrinkled while looking at the contents of the bag. He looked at me.

"How did you get it?" He asked while looking at me, I laughed.

"I stole it," I answered and his eyes widened, I laughed out loud and then sat down.

"Of course I bought it," I said so his frown slowly disappeared and he smiled.

"But you said you didn't have any gold with you?" He asked and took the contents of the bag, I grinned.

"I can't lose a gold," I said looking ahead.

"And this bracelet? It's unique! How much gold did you spend? I'll pay you back in the palace." He said that's why I looked at him.

"Don't worry, I don't know anything about gold," I said grinning. Something came to my mind suddenly.

I watched him take out the things he took earlier that were inside the bag, The smile disappeared from my lips when I saw that he was holding the same bracelet as me. He looked at my hand and smiled.

"I thought you brought it back." He said and looked at me, I winced.

"Once it's given to me, it can't be taken back," I said and looked at him with a smile. I watched him put the bracelet in his hand, he looked at me and showed his hand where the bracelet was worn.

"There, I'm wearing the symbol of our friendship again." He said then put the things he took out inside the bag, I watched him until he finished putting them inside the bag, he suddenly looked at me and then smiled.

"You know you are the only friend of mine who brought me here." He said. I didn't say a word, I didn't have anything to say so I chose to remain silent. Then I don't even know if I was the first to bring him here.

"Bael and Cynrad, they always tell me that it's dangerous to go out of the palace because of people we don't know, they might do something bad to me, so they always remind me not to go out," he said. I heard his laugh.

"But they seem to be wrong because our constituents are kind." He said that's why I looked at him.

"Nothing happened to me that's why I can be sure that no harm will come to our subjects." He says.

"You made a mistake," I said so he looked at me, I looked in another direction.

"They're right, you don't know the people here yet so don't just trust them," I said.

He didn't answer so I looked at him.

"The rest of them are just human, you know that the person who will put you in harm's way is right in front of you," I said so he laughed.

"Are you saying you're going to put me in harm's way?" He asked with a laugh so I laughed

"What do you think?" I ask. He stopped laughing and smiled at me.

"No." He answered so the smile disappeared from my lips. Little by little, my face became serious while looking at him.

"Do you think I can be trusted?" I asked while looking into his eyes, I could read if he was just being forced into his answer or if he was lying.

He smiled at me while not taking his eyes off me.

"Yes, for me, you are kind and trustworthy." He said, my vision suddenly darkened, and I closed my eyes and calmed myself down.

"You're bad!"

"You have no heart!"

"You're a demon!"

"You are a plague!"

I heard the cries of the people I was punished with within hell and on earth. I opened my eyes and looked seriously at Pavel.

"Don't tell me that because you don't know me yet," I said coldly.

"But that's what I feel, you're a kind--"

"I'M NOT NICE!" I suddenly shouted so he stopped, he was surprised by what I did. I stood up and turned away from him, I could feel the footsteps of his friends.

"I don't have a heart and I'm not kind so don't tell me that again," I said coldly, just as the rooftop door opened and Pavel's friends spat out.

"Pavel! The dear king is looking for you! didn't we tell you not to go out!" Cynrad said annoyed and went straight to Pavel while Bael looked at me, I only gave him a cold stare.

Chapter 9

"Bastard!" The king gave a strong slap to his son when he got close to him, the surroundings were quiet while looking at the two, I crossed my arms then leaned against the wall and watched them.

"Didn't I tell you that you can't leave the palace?" The king asked him angrily, Pavel just bowed his head and did not answer. Weak.

"How many times have I told you that you cannot leave the palace until you become king? Are you that stubborn?!" The king asked his son irritably, Pavel looked at his father.

"I'm sorry father, I won't do it again," Pavel said, his father immediately pinched his ear causing me to laugh and they looked at my behavior, I got a strange look from the king so I slowly straightened up and bowed.

"Sorry." I then said to stand properly.

"Who are you then?" The king asked, causing Pavel to look at his father.

"Isn't she the one you picked for me?" Pavel asked his father so the king looked at him with a frown.

"What are you talking about? The only one we got for you is a boy." The king said annoyed and looked at me, the soldiers immediately pointed their weapons at me so Pavel looked at me.

"Oi, just a moment. Put down your weapons, she's not bad." Pavel said but the soldiers didn't seem to hear what he said. They will probably follow the king, not the prince.

"How did you get in here?" The king asked me, and I smiled.

"My cousin is the only one you took for your son," I said so the king frowned.

"And he's resigned from his role as the only one for a reason I can't tell you," I said.

"You must be aware that the Yuniko ones we get for the prince are boys, why are you here?" The king asked. I laughed.

"I will probably replace my cousin as the prince's only child servant," I said.

"Hey girl, you are talking to a king so be respectful," Bael said irritably so I just smiled, why should I respect a creature that is inferior to me?

"Then, you can leave at our palace because you are not qualified to be our son's servant." This is why I pouted.

"Aww? why? All right." I said and turned around.

"Wait, father." Hearing Pavel's voice made me smile.

"You can't remove my new only Yuniko because there is no one to replace her as my servant yet." It said,

"I'll find a new Yuniko for you, another one. I'm sure she won't do you any good, I have a strong hunch that she's the one who told you to leave the palace so she didn't." said the king. Good, he felt that. It's not good, it's to reduce the number of ignorant people in this place.

"But father--"

"I said no, don't insist on what you want Pavel." The king said firmly.

I stepped one foot away from them but I was stunned by what Pavel said next.

"She wasn't the one who taught me to get out and run away from you." I raised my head and a smile slowly curved my lips. That I could smell the small scent of lies that flowed through Pavel's body.

"I was the one who insisted on leaving the palace and I told her to accompany me because I feel like you're just locking me up here," Pavel said firmly.

"Prince, that's not true." I heard Cynrad say. I stepped one foot away from them again.

"I feel like you don't want me to see the outside so I forced her to accompany me." I closed my eyes while smiling, the bad smell, when will you be added?

"I told you that until you become king you will not leave the palace."

"But father, how can I study the problems outside the palace if you don't allow me to go out? If there are a lot of bad people outside the gate, I wouldn't be here in front of you." Pavel said so I opened my eyes.

That's right, you answered your father.

"I'm only thinking about your safety."

"Safety, father? or only your own?" I stepped away from them again.

"Wait a minute." My smile widened when I heard what the king said.

I still heard it breathing deeply.

"What's your name?" This is why I stood up straight and turned to him.

"Ksara," I said. He looked at my head which is why I grabbed my little horn.

"Don't worry, this horn is fake.", I said while smiling, I looked into the king's eyes.

"I'm an avid fan of demons so I'm scheming," I said. I saw Pavel smile while looking at me.

"Ksara, from now on you will be the only Yuniko of the prince, and as it is your job to serve him, make sure you watch over him in all his actions and if he violates the order again, I will fire you, and kill you." He said this made me smile.

As if I fear.

"Next," I said and looked at Pavel who was smiling.

"As for you Pavel, the chief advisors and I have already discussed the test that will be done on you to test your leadership thinking." He said to his son then turned around and walked to sit on his throne.

I keep missing my throne, I'm sure that Alada is destroying my throne again.

"By the way, your majesty, our youngest, Siir, will be here," Cynrad said, `` that's why I looked at him, Siir? It looks like I have something to play with.

"She says that her parents want to talk to you." I looked at the king who frowned.

"Is that so? All right." The king said without emotion, I was surprised when Pavel suddenly approached me and smiled.

"Come on, I want to rest." He said so I nodded, he walked first so I followed him.

We were walking in silence in the corridor of the palace to his room when he spoke.

"By the way, was it right that I lied to my father?" He asked and stopped walking, he looked at me so I immediately shook my head saying no.

"That's not right," I said. That's right but I have to act in front of him.

"We both know that I forced you to come out," I said, he just smiled.

"But you're my friend and I'm not just a single person, if I hadn't lied, I'm sure you wouldn't have been by my side." He said so I was silent.

"Your name is Ksara, my name is Pavel. Nice to meet you." He said with a smile, I just watched him until he came to me again, which surprised me.

"Since you're officially my only one, I always have to have you by my side okay?" He asked, but I hesitated to answer.

"Promise me that you will never leave me." I was stunned by what he said, I stared into his eyes which were full of pleasure.

Promise? creatures like me do not keep promises and cannot make promises because there is no guarantee that we will be able to fulfill them. I was surprised when he took my left hand, causing the images I see every time he touches me to come out again. He put our little fingers together and looked at me with a smile.

"You already promised me, that's why I'm sure you won't leave me no matter what happens." He said so I looked at our little finger that was touching.

Did I promise him? Promise I won't leave him no matter what? Madness.

Chapter 10

"Help!"

"Forgive me!"

"Arghhh!"

"Have mercy on us!"

I reluctantly opened the door to my room and saw Alada torturing a soul.

"Ksara, why did you come back so soon? Is your mission over?" She asked when she saw me, I ignored her. Instead, I lay down on my bed and glared at a soul who had been following me one after the other, he immediately got scared and ran away.

"Why do I feel like you are in a bad mood today?" Alada asked again, I glared at her so she laughed and took the eye of the soul she was torturing then came to me and opened the eye she was holding.

"Oh." She said, I just rolled my eyes to her and started to restore my true form.

"Looks like your mission isn't over yet but you're here and back to being a demon." Alada said laughing as she played with those eyes.

"I don't want to finish the mission." I said then took my weapon. "I would rather punish souls here than be with that man." I said, causing her to laugh.

I glared at her.

"Are you joking?" she asked then suddenly went behind me.

"Maybe you're forgetting what happens to people like us when the mission isn't completed." she said then grabbed my horn.

"You want to be like Avila." she whispered then she laughed, she kissed my cheek and whispered again.

"Why does my sister seem to be a coward for a man of a lower class than her?" she whispered in my ear, I was about to strangle her when she suddenly landed in front of me while laughing.

"That man, his attitude is annoying. I can't wait to be with him for a long time because he is so good." I said irritated.

"That's why your mission is to make him bad." she said to me and grinned.

"Why Ksara, is it hard to make that earthling evil?" she asked. I dreamed.

"He's a liar, he's guilty. Maybe that's okay." I said so she laughed out loud while floating.

"Ksara, Ksara, Ksara." She shook her head while floating and looking at me.

A strange smile drew on her lips causing my hair to stand on end. Her eyes suddenly darkened, a sign that she was not happy with me.

I struggled and held my tail tightly. As if I am happy with her.

"Finish your mission." she said coldly so I stared at her coldly then grinned.

"Why didn't you finish?" I asked her to throw her sharp weapon in my direction which I immediately avoided.

She was able to approach me faster than lightning and when she pointed a knife at my neck, her gaze was cold and her horn was on fire.

"I repeat Ksara, finish your mission." she said, I stared at her sharp blade. I immediately shook it then pushed her away from me and prepared my weapon.

"Don't order me." I said stubbornly so she looked at me even worse.

"Hayst, why didn't you tell me that there was a riot going on here? I wish I had come early so I could have seen it." Alada and I looked at the door of my room where someone spoke.

Father with mother and their henchmen.

"Father." Alada and I said together and let go of the things we were holding, even though Father said that, his aura dictated what he truly felt.

"We were not informed that you are back here Ksara." father said while smiling but it was replaced by a black and red aura, a sign that he was angry.

"I don't want to finish the mis--" I couldn't finish what I was going to say when my mother slapped me hard. I looked badly at her, who had no emotion on her face but had a peaceful aura.

"Our little devil is turning into Satan, tsk tsk." Father said, shaking his head and came closer to me. He held my other shoulder and looked at me with a smile.

"Can you tell me why you don't want to continue the mission?" Father asked with a smile.

I looked in another direction.

Rule 1270, a demon cannot make a promise to a person. Because the devil's job is to do evil and man's job is to do what the devil wants.

When someone like me makes a promise, it is likely that it will be fulfilled even if there is no certainty as to whether it is true or not. People like me are bad, but we can keep a word. As promised.

I can't tell father about the promise I made to Pavel because most likely, I will be punished and not Pavel.

"That man, it's too hard to teach how to be evil." I said, so father smiled, he grabbed my hair.

"Don't you want to be in trouble?" he asked, then caressed my neck.

"That's why I assigned you to do the mission because you know

I really like that you're being tested." he added then crossed his arms and looked at me from a high angle.

"You are Ksara Rocca, the third princess of the underworld and holder of the fourth circle. I know you can do the mission." Father said so I looked away.

No choice, I will return to earth to finish the mission. I took a deep breath and turned away from them.

"Fine." I said and turned into a human again.

I looked at them and saw a smile on their lips.

"Yow Ksara, do you want to know my most hidden secret?" Alada asked so I looked at her.

"I don't care about your secret." I said and rolled my eyes to her, I heard her laugh.

"Really? Even if it has something to do with you?" she asked, causing me to stop, I looked at her and saw her strange smile.

"Me?" I asked, she suddenly disappeared from where she was standing and someone suddenly walked towards me.

"When you finish the mission, I'll tell you my most guarded secret." she whispered then hugged me.

My mood changed immediately. She broke away from the hug and grinned.

"Bye bye Ksara, good luck."
