Chapter 1

Damian and I were both reborn.

In our past life, I was his cherished Luna, Annalise Harris, the one he doted on above all others.

Even in death, we were buried together in the royal crypt.

But this time, when the list of potential mates for the Come of Age Ceremony was announced, my sister’s name appeared instead of mine.

It hit me then—this time, he had chosen to avoid me.

Later, I followed my father’s arrangements and agreed to a mate bond.

At the pack gathering, Moses Harris, a rising Gamma, wrapped his arm around me, his scent of cedar and pine enveloping me as we left together.

Behind us, Damian Weaver, the Lycan Prince who was always cold and composed, clenched his fist, his knuckles whitening.

---

In our past life, Damian had cherished me from the moment I joined his pack.

He had taken me on a run through the forest, his laughter echoing across the open fields. When I fell ill, he stayed by my side, refusing to leave even for a moment.

Our bond had been as natural and intimate as that of any mated pair.

On my deathbed, I held his hand, smiling weakly. "My King, in the next life, I’ll find you before anyone else."

His eyes glistened as he pulled me into a tight embrace. "Annalise, in the next life, I’ll make you my Luna."

When I passed, he ensured we were buried together, a final act of devotion.

He had given me a love that was unmatched.

The only regret, I thought, was that we never had pups together.

Chapter 2

When I opened my eyes, I found myself back at the age of sixteen.

This time, Damian was still the Lycan Prince, not yet ascended to the throne as the Lycan King.

I had my father summon a healer from the southern pack to examine me.

He shook his head helplessly. "You’ve always been as strong as a wolf. What could possibly be wrong?"

I frowned, retorting stubbornly, "There is. I need the healer to check me thoroughly!"

In my previous life, during my years in the pack, the healer had told me that I’d damaged my wolf’s essence in my youth, making it difficult to carry a pup.

I’d been both frustrated and heartbroken, unable to give Damian a pup.

He had his pups with others, but we had none together. Even though Damian had always comforted me, the regret lingered.

This time, if I could have a pup with him, it would truly feel complete.
