Chapter 6

"Let me do it, Master," Aiden repeated his words, this time in an emphasized tone. Aiden's firm hand held Ashley’s wrist, and the human shook his head confidently.

Aiden again showed the same expression as before. And as a result of his punch just now, a bruise appeared on Aiden's forehead and was so obvious that he was almost bleeding from it. He chuckled at Aiden's good intentions. In an instant, he swatted away Aiden's hand, which was trying to take the initiative to help clean up his things.

"Keep your hands–"

"Let me do it," Aiden repeated his words, this time in an emphasized tone. Aiden's firm hand held his wrist, and Aiden shook his head confidently. "This is my job. All you have to do is nothing."

"Suit yourself." He put all his things back on the table, letting Aiden tidy them up while occasionally grimacing and touching his forehead. He crossed his arms over his chest, ignoring Aiden. He let Aiden do his job while he shut his eyes. He returned the color of his eyes to brown iris.

Tiredness was starting to set in, apparently due to him focusing all his attention on today's lecture and working too hard on his fighting skills late into the night, making him unconsciously begin to feel sleepy. His entire body felt exhausted, repeatedly begging him to rest.

And finally, he lost. He let the exhaustion take over his body, transporting him briefly to dreamland before he felt someone's hand massaging his shoulder. At the same time, he could feel a rosemary-scented aromatherapy fragrance that made him feel calm.

When he opened his eyes, he found Aiden already standing behind him, massaging him with comforting movements, while on his desk, a small bottle of rosemary aromatherapy was open, spreading the soothing scent into the air.

"Are you comfortable now?"

He nodded, letting Aiden massage his shoulders at the same pace. Out of all his errand boys so far, this was the first time he found one who would actually do whatever he asked without protesting.

Even to the point of taking the initiative to massage his body now. He closed his eyes, letting Aiden continue massaging his body until he sighed softly.

"Rosemary oil essences will help calm your mind and reduce fatigue," Aiden said in a half-whisper, before the human stopped massaging his shoulders.

Tsk!

He opened his eyes, about to scold Aiden, when suddenly Aiden was kneeling in front of him.

"Your jacket buttons are about to fall off."

"Eh?"

"Please take off your jacket first, Milord," Aiden looked up, looking straight at him with a gentle gaze that he found hard to describe.

"What for?" Ashley's hands fumbled with the buttons of his favorite jean jacket before finding that the two buttons near his neck were about to come undone. "Let them be."

"I am afraid I can't do that, Milord."

"Can you fix them?"

"Of course."

Aiden moved from his spot, coming closer to Ashley. Aiden's dark brown irises looked straight at him without averting their gaze from him, until he could see the reflection of his own face in the human's eyes.

For a moment, he swore that he felt a strange sensation enveloping Aiden. A sensation that he found hard to describe. A sensation like a combination of shuddering in horror but, at the same time, creating a feeling of security within him.

It was like a puzzle piece was missing from inside him, and now it was in the hands of that despicable human.

He only found himself unable to do anything. It was like there were strange pheromones enveloping Aiden's body, bewitching him until he could no longer move away from Aiden.

"Just let go first, Milord. Let me fix it."

Only after hearing Aiden's next words did he manage to pull himself out of Aiden’s enchantment. It was Aiden's tone when he said it that sounded like he was telling him to do so that made him realize that he had been lured into the strange thing that enveloped Aiden for too long.

"Who gave you permission to do that, you bastard!?"

Both of Aiden's hands reflexively shot up, signaling him to back off.

"I didn't mean anything bad." Those dark, intense brown eyes still looked straight at his denim jacket. "I just wanted to fix it. My master should be perfect everywhere. In every aspect."

"Master?" He couldn't help but smile a little at Aiden's words. "I like that.”

"So you'd rather I call you Master?"

"Is that something you should ask?"

Aiden quickly looked away. "No."

"Good," he said, crossing his legs, still looking at Aiden. "Besides, why should I take off my jacket? Why do you care so much about my appearance?"

"That's...," Aiden now looked nervous, swallowing with his eyes still glued to Ashley. He could see Aiden's Adam's apple moving up and down.

What a freak, Ashley muttered to himself upon seeing Aiden's reaction. It was only today that they met. It was also just today that the man volunteered to be his slave. But why was that human so dedicated to him, doing everything without feeling the least bit burdened? He even felt—no, he was certain—that the human was worshipping him as a god.

Not that he didn't enjoy it anyway. He actually enjoyed it because it was rare that he met humans who truly understood where they belonged in the structure of the chain of living things. Where werewolves have the highest position compared to humans.

Where humans were supposed to worship werewolves. Finding out that the human named Aiden Connor knew where he should belong created a feeling of excitement in Ashley.

Ashley locked his gaze on Aiden's eyes, waiting for Aiden’s reply.

"Isn't it obvious?" Aiden finally broke the silence that surrounded him. This time Aiden's tone turned into a half-whisper, with the man's body getting closer to him. He no longer raised his hands like before, until the distance between him and Aiden was only a few centimeters.

And with such a close distance, he had no other choice but to smell Aiden's body. The combination of mint and a unique scent he didn't recognize made him flinch for a few moments.

"A person with a noble position like you should not look imperfect. Every detail of yours must not be flawed. There must be no flaws."

Aiden's answer just now managed to create a satisfied smile on his face. He touched Aiden's left cheek, rubbing it gently.

"Oh, you're adapting quickly to your new status, human. I like submissive types like you," he said, then patted Aiden's cheek. "If all humans would obey as easily as you and not try to rebel..."

"In that case, they are all idiots. For not recognizing your power."

His eyes widened for a moment upon hearing the human youth's words, before he returned to his flat face. He was happy to hear Aiden's answer, but he did not want to give Aiden that pleasure. He didn't want Aiden to feel happy. He should be thinking about his own pleasure, not the feelings of his slave.

So that very second, he slapped Aiden's cheek until the reddish mark was clearly visible on Aiden's left cheek.

"Who gave you permission to answer my question?"

"No one. Forgive my impudence, Master."

Ashley feigned a resentful expression, hiding the fact within himself that he was increasingly attracted to Aiden.

In appreciation that Aiden apologized to him immediately and did not complain of pain from the slap, he took off her beloved denim jacket. Only then did he realize that what Aiden had said was true. The buttons on his denim jacket were almost undone.

Wow. He surely has observant eyes, he muttered to himself as he gave the denim jacket to Aiden.

"Can you fix it?"

"These are small things, Master." Aiden sounded confident as he said it. "There's no need to worry. Back in the day, my late mother taught me how to fix my own clothes whenever they ripped or came apart, so I didn't have to buy new ones too often. We are not rich.”

"Oh. Whatever. Just make it quick and don't ruin my denim jacket."

"I would not dare to do that."

"Good. That's what I want to hear from your mouth."

Chapter 7

Ashley watched Aiden's reaction for a moment, discovering that the man was treating the denim jacket he had given Aiden just now like an heirloom to be carefully guarded. Aiden looked so happy as soon as he heard his command.

It felt like, compared to seeing a human, he was seeing a puppy who had just gotten his first new toy.

He saw Aiden take out his sewing kit from his bag, which he found very strange. In his entire life, he had never seen anyone carry a sewing kit everywhere they went like Aiden did. So, to be honest, he was a little interested in what the man would do with his sewing kit.

With great diligence, Aiden began to sew his clothes. It turned out that not only were the buttons on his jacket almost undone, but there were several rips in his denim jacket that he hadn't even noticed.

His eyes were unconsciously glued to the movement of Aiden's hand. Those sturdy, strong-looking hands were so skilled when sewing his clothes. It was as if Aiden's hands were born to do work that required a high level of skill and precision.

In fact, when Ashley glanced at how Aiden's stitches turned out, he marveled to himself. Aiden was indeed telling the truth. His stitches were even as precise as machine stitches. It was flawlessly neat.

"You should get some rest first, Master. I'll wake you up later."

Ashley hurriedly shifted his gaze in another direction. He didn’t want to give Aiden the pleasure of telling him he was touched by the attention given by his new human slave.

"Huh?"

"Your face complexion is not good," Aiden continued without taking his eyes off the denim jacket.

"I don't want to take such a stupid risk. How about you use it to get away from me?"

"I'm not going to," Aiden put the denim jacket on his lap for a moment, then looked straight at Ashley. "If you're afraid I'll run away from you, Master, you can use a binding spell on me."

His eyes widened, shocked, as he heard the idea Aiden had just proposed without hesitation. He immediately leaned closer to Aiden, pressing his hands on both of his cheeks. "Where do you know about that? Only a werewolf should know!"

For a moment, Ashley caught sight of the panic on Aiden’s face before Aiden managed to hide it with a flat, calm face.

"I heard about it from my late mother. She said that there was a spell used by the werewolves to ensure that their slaves did not escape from them."

"Are you sure of what you're saying?"

"Yes."

He paused for a moment, then removed his hand from Aiden's cheek. "I don't want to. It would be a hassle to me."

"So, does that mean...," Aiden paused for a moment, looking nervous. "Do you believe me?"

"I don't. But it's no big deal. If you dare to disappear from my sight, all I need to do is find you and kill you. There are no restrictions on killing humans in this city."

"Oh."

Aiden looked so happy to hear his words.

"Just do your job again and don't think of anything strange," he said, poking Aiden's forehead.

"Yes, Master."

"Oh, and one more thing before I forget to tell you. Don't call me Master unless we are alone or when you are with my friends."

"Why?"

Once again, he pinned Aiden to his forehead.

"Don't dare to ask me. All you just need to do," Ashley said, lifting Aiden's chin with his index finger, "is follow my order."

"Okay..."

He smiled in satisfaction at Aiden's compliance, took his hand away from Aiden, and sat back in his chair with his arms crossed in front of his chest. He paused as he realized someone was looking at him, making him wary. His eyes wandered around, taking in the surroundings, until he found Professor Garfield in the classroom. The man's shady eyes looked straight at him, with the meaning of that gaze difficult for him to understand.

But that gaze managed to create a loud rumble in his heart. He tried to remain calm, with his mind questioning Professor Garfield's presence here. Shouldn't Professor Garfield no longer be in this room? What was Professor Garfield doing in this place?

It wasn't that he didn't want the man he had liked since he entered this campus to be there. It was just that he was curious.

"Ashley?"

He hurriedly corrected his posture to sit up straight as soon as he heard Professor Garfield's voice calling his name. He couldn't stop feeling excited as he heard Professor Garfield call his name for the first time in history.

He had often imagined the scenario where Professor Garfield would call his name. Even imagining Professor Garfield calling his name in a half-whisper near his ear whenever he jerked off in his bedroom.

And now it had become a reality. But not in the way he wanted it to be.

"Y-yes, sir?"

Unconsciously, he showed his nervous demeanor instead of the calm demeanor he should have. He silently cursed the foolishness of his behavior, while at the same time, he tried to control his heart, which was beating faster and faster.

As if to add to the misery he was already feeling, Professor Garfield gave him a gentle smile. He was sure it was only directed at him because the man's eyes were fixed on him. Not on Aiden. So, he began to doubt the idea that Professor Garfield was aware of Aiden sitting next to him right now.

"Why are you still here?"

Why are you still here, he asked, Ashley muttered to himself, repeating Professor Garfield's question. Can he take this sign as a sign that Professor Garfield is interested in him?

He was just about to answer Professor Garfield's question when Aiden spoke up.

"Is there also a restriction here on using the classroom as we please after class hours?"

Aiden didn't even take his eyes off the denim jacket he was still sewing on, but the young human's tone of voice seemed to be very curt when answering Professor Garfield's question.

And in that instant, he stomped on Aiden's foot so hard that Aiden clamped his lips tightly together to keep from letting out a groan of pain.

"I'm not asking you. I asked Ashley." Professor Garfield responded to Aiden's words with a cold tone. "Are you a freshman?"

"I guess I have no obligation to answer that."

He did not know if Aiden was a moron or what. He had already warned Aiden not to be stupid. Instead, Aiden returned to answering Professor Garfield's questions with the same nonchalance that he was currently displaying.

"We'll be home in a minute," Ashley finally said, after slipping his hand into Aiden's back and pinching the skin of Aiden's back with all his might in exasperation. "Yeah, he's a student who just moved to this town. So, he doesn't know much about it."

"Oh, I see. That explains his behavior," Professor Garfield muttered under his breath. "Okay, I must go to attend the meeting. But you two should go home after finishing whatever you two are doing here."

"Yes, Professor Garfield."

Professor Garfield smiled at his answer. Then their eyes met, and just that alone managed to create nervousness in her. Professor Garfield's lips then moved silently, making Ashley rush to focus his attention on reading the movement of the man's lips.

You look beautiful as usual.

Both of his cheeks warmed up instantly upon knowing what he had just said.

It's hard for me to take my eyes off of you.

His heart pounded even faster as he realized that one of his fantasies had turned into reality.

Was this real? Was he dreaming, or was this real? Because it felt too good to be real...

But everything was definitely real. He realized that as he lowered his head for a moment and pressed the skin of his palm with his fingernails, feeling pain.

This is real, Ashley muttered to himself, feeling happy. If only I knew that all I needed to do to hear all those words from Professor Garfield was to stay in the classroom until the end of class...

Maybe he should have done it this way a long time ago.

Professor Garfield smiled happily upon seeing his reaction. Quietly, Professor Garfield blinked one eye at him, before finally leaving the deserted classroom.

"I managed to fix your jacket."

Aiden's voice managed to disrupt the euphoria that had been enveloping him. Half-holding back his resentment, he turned to Aiden, snatched his denim jacket out of his hands quickly, and put it on. Without saying anything, he got up from his seat and left the classroom with a deep resentment towards Aiden.

Simply because Aiden had managed to ruin his mood.

Aiden hurriedly followed after him after putting away all his stuff.

"Is there somewhere you want to go?" Aiden asked once he caught up with him. Aiden's face looked worried. "Are you all right, Master? Your face looks red."

Just as Aiden's hand was about to touch his forehead, he quickly swatted it away.

"Don't touch me!"

Aiden pulled his hand back, giving up. "Do you have other classes to attend after this course?"

"No."

He suddenly felt hungry, and when he adjusted his collar to check the time, he found that it was already lunchtime.

"I'm hungry. Buy me lunch."

There was no reaction from Aiden. Aiden just remained standing where he was, doing nothing.

"Oi, human! Do you have ears or not!?" He screeched in annoyance.

"Yeah," Aiden finally said again. "I would love to do that, but I do not have the money to buy it..."

"Urgh..."

He massaged his throbbing temples, then pulled out his prepaid card for Aiden. "Use this and buy me some food.”

"I don't know where the cafeteria is.”

He grew increasingly frustrated as he heard the man's words.

How could I forget the fact that he's new here? He muttered in exasperation. Poor and stupid? What a good choice of slave, Ashley...

He grumbled, cursing his own foolishness.

"Follow me," he said finally, gesturing for Aiden to follow him to the cafeteria.
