Chapter 4

Ashley entered the classroom. He looked at Professor Garfield for a moment. He noticed Professor Garfield was smiling at him. It was a quick, friendly smile. The smile that Professor Garfield gave to other students.

Yet, it managed to reduce the annoyance in his heart right now. It gave Ashley a suppressed feeling of joy.

He did not know whether Professor Garfield was really smiling at him or whether it might be at all of the students in the classroom he was in right now. But he wanted to keep thinking that gorgeous smile was only and only for him.

As he did not want his three best friends to know he had been attracted to the lecturer in Introduction to Communication Studies, he kept putting on a calm face to hide how happy he was at the moment. It would be troublesome for him if his best friends knew about his love interest.

Moreover, he did not want this annoying man to know about his feelings toward Professor Garfield. He would be crazy as fuck if he let that annoying man know his feelings towards Professor Garfield.

His mind began to wander, and he imagined what he would like to do with Professor Garfield if one day he could get the chance to spend his time alone with him.

Slowly, deep in his mind, he found that Professor Garfield's hand was gently stroking his thigh, speaking in a half-whispered tone of voice. It sounded so sexy to the extent that he could not do anything but let him do whatever he wanted to do with his body.

"Ashley, you are really beautiful. Do you realize your charm? You might have fallen in love with me from the first year of your college, but for me, I am falling in love with you since you stepped your feet into this building during the first year of your college."

Professor Garfield's voice sounded so real, to the extent that he believed it was really happening right now, right here, in the classroom. As if it were not only his imagination.

Only he and Professor Garfield were staying in the room after Professor Garfield sent all of the students away from his class after the class was over. He could feel his cheeks flush, feeling so warm that the heat spread to his neck and ears,. He could already imagine how red his face was right now.

"So what is your answer? Do you want to take my offer?"

Professor Garfield's hand pulled away, kissing the back of his hand intently before the man's lips moved to kiss his fingers one by one as he kept his eyes locked on him. As if Professor Garfield was waiting for an answer from him.

"Oh, Introduction to Communication Studies? I see …"

The question posed by Aiden had shattered his fantasies of Professor Garfield, along with his fantasies of what he would do to Garfield if he had the chance to do so. All of a sudden, he sent a sharp glare at Aiden, who did not realize the big impact of the mistake he had just made on his imagination with Professor Garfield just now.

"Is there a special call that I should use for you?"

"What are you talking about!?" Ashley hissed harshly at the man's absurd question just now, waving his hand so that the human who took the chair nearby would not sit next to him.

"Anyway, since when did I allow you to sit beside me?"

"I thought it would be a lot more practical if I sat next to you," Aiden answered with an innocent expression, instead trying to sit beside him one more time casually as if his warning had meant nothing to him. "Who knew you might need me to take notes for today's lecture, for example?"

"Nope. I can handle it on my own; thank you very much."

"Hmm..."

He did not know, and he did not even want to try to figure out the meaning of the man's mutterings. All he had in mind was how to get the man out of his way without making him the center of attention—especially Professor Garfield—by allowing Aiden to sit beside him.

"So, have you made up your mind, hm?"

He was too busy with plans in his mind for what he wanted to do with him, to the extent that he barely noticed that he was talking to him in a half-whispered voice. Only then he realized that Professor Garfield's class had already started.

"That is why I do not understand what the hell you are talking about!" He glared at his now-slave as his last warning, joining in with a half-whisper. "If you dare to bother me once again—"

"Lord? Your Majesty? Or maybe, O Great Highness? Oh, wait. How about Milord? Ah! I think the last one suits you best."

Son of a bitch!

He could not take it anymore!

He immediately grabbed the man by the collar when Professor Garfield was not looking at his seat, sending a sharp glare at Aiden, who strangely seemed relaxed in response to his anger.

"I don't know what your problem with me is, human. But why do you keep bothering me instead of doing your new job as my slave?"

"Hm? I did nothing," the man exclaimed, slightly agitated. "All I want to do is get to know you more, so I can accommodate everything you need—

"Well, let me give you one final warning, human," He interrupted it, still trying to control his anger, as he did not want to make a scene in Professor Garfield's class. "If you bother me again like you are doing right now, one more time, I will kill you with no mercy!"

There was a little bit of surprise hidden in Aiden’s eyes. Yet, he found that Aiden was not scared of his threat even once. All he found was Aiden’s surprised reaction, which managed to make him both furious and confused at the same time.

"O-okay ..."

"Just do what you need to do, you moron!"

"A—ah," the man exclaimed in surprise at his reaction before looking down languidly. He even swore that it was as if he saw dog ears clenched languidly along with the sad expression Aiden was making at the moment. "I am sorry for making you uncomfortable, then ..."

"Urgh ..."

He could feel his forehead throbbing in frustration as he heard Aiden’s answer. In a quick count, he stomped on the man's foot with all his might. When he saw that Aiden seemed to be about to scream in pain from his actions, he quickly sent a sharp glare at the human.

"Don't you dare to make a loud noise in this class, you fucking bastard!" Ashley stole glances at Professor Garfield as he resumed his lectures, breathing a sigh of relief when he found that Aiden's voice did not distract Professor Garfield from his class. "I don't want to attract unnecessary attention at Professor Garfield's lessons."

"Oh, so you are interested in this course?"

"Whether I like this course or not, it is definitely none of your business!"

Once again, he snorted in annoyance and then stretched his hand toward Aiden.

"Yes?" Aiden was stunned, as it seemed that he did not understand what he meant.

"My iPad and pen, you moron!" Ashley rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Are you fucking serious?"

"Did I say something wrong?" Aiden looked at him innocently.

"Did I say something wrong?" he parroted what Aiden had said. "You should have known what your job was from the moment you offered yourself to us, moron! Why should I need to explain such a simple thing to you? How impractical of you!"

"I am sorry. Just a moment," Aiden said, then opened the backpack the man was carrying, and gave him the item he asked for with a face full of regret. "I was wrong. I will make sure to be careful next time."

"There will be no next time. Remember it, or you will get your punishment. Like Michael Raymond, your little friend you saved earlier," he snorted angrily, turning to face the projector screen in front of the class and turning on his iPad.

"He is not my friend, for your information. I only knew him today through you," replied Aiden calmly. "But interesting. You remember his full name, eh?"

"I do not have any obligation to explain it to you, do I?" Ashley rolled his eyes in disgust, not looking at Aiden.

"No need. Of course, there's no need ..."

With a lot of effort, he ignored Aiden and began to jot down important points by focusing all his attention on Professor Garfield.

In an instant, he forgot the existence of the obnoxious and unreliable human named Aiden Connor. Allowing himself to be enchanted by Professor Garfield's charms, with his elegant and soothing voice echoing through the room.

Chapter 5

Throughout the class, it was difficult to focus on Professor Garfield's class material as usual. Or even just observing every detail of Professor Garfield's movements while letting his imagination run wild.

The reason was none other than the damn bug named Aiden Connor. The new errand boy he had just recruited after accepting the man's offer in exchange for not bullying other students was currently staring at him with an intense gaze that managed to make him feel uncomfortable about it.

He could feel his goosebumps shuddering from the intense gaze, so he constantly rubbed the nape of his neck to reduce the uncomfortable feeling.

Several times he kept trying to ignore the gaze of his new errand boy, resisting the urge to gouge out Aiden’s eyes until he no longer had to feel uncomfortable.

However, over and over again he tried to ignore it, but it all went in vain. The man continued to give him the same look. If he could say so, he was not listening to the lecture at all and was instead busy observing him. As if for Aiden, observing him was more fun than listening to Professor Garfield's explanation.

Enough is enough, Ashley muttered to himself in annoyance. He clenched his hands into fists, trying to count down again while thinking of various reasons he could give his brain not to hit Aiden that very second.

Hold yourself together, Ashley, he muttered to himself again while catching his breath and trying to calm his mind. Think about the reason you're taking this class. Just ignore this damn idiot...

He closed his eyes, making a list of valid reasons in his mind.

Okay. First, he didn't want to make a scene in the class with the lecturer he had liked since his freshman year. He didn't want to attract unnecessary attention from Professor Garfield, who would probably kick him out of the class forever or maybe even get his name crossed off the list of students who could pass the course exam for good.

Secondly, he didn't want to ruin his image in Professor Garfield's eyes by letting Aiden provoke his anger.

And lastly, he did not want to make this insect feel superior by making his temper explode in class.

In essence, being kicked out of this class was the last thing he wanted.

Stay calm, Ashley. Stay calm...

He kept chanting that mantra in his mind continuously as soon as he opened his eyes and again tried hard to focus all his attention on Professor Garfield's class. His hands went back to taking notes on the lecture material, with all his attention focused on the projector screen. Imagining that the existence of the man named Aiden Connor had never sat next to him and never existed in his life.

"Yes, that's it for today's lecture," Professor Garfield turned off the projector screen, then turned his body to face all the students in the room in an elegant manner. His hand, which was not holding the projector remote, adjusted the position of the glasses perched between his nose, circulating the eyes of all the students in his class. "For assignments, you can look at the campus e-learning site and upload them there before the deadline I've given."

"Okay," said all the students in the class simultaneously.

"If you have any questions, you can come to me directly or email me. See you at the next meeting."

For a moment, he thought that Professor Garfield was looking at him. As if he were sending Ashley a signal with that look in his eyes that had even managed to do its job of making him tremble with pleasure. He didn't even know if it was just part of his imagination or if it was real when he saw the smile on the man's face before it disappeared and was replaced with his usual flat face.

He hurriedly lowered his face in an attempt to hide the blush that must be evident on his face right now.

"Good afternoon."

After saying that sentence, Professor Garfield put down the remote controller of his projector and then waltzed out of his classroom in a casual yet elegant manner. He only glanced at Professor Garfield, looking at the man he dared not approach until Professor Garfield disappeared from the classroom.

"You seem to be very interested in this class, huh?"

Aiden's comment managed to snap Ashley back to the fact that the annoying errand boy was still there. Sitting beside his side. Staring at him intensely to the point that it made him feel annoyed to death.

A gaze that provoked the urge in him to hit the man with all his might.

And goddammit, that moron did not know when to stop showing such annoying behavior in front of him. Instead, Aiden showed Ashley a friendly expression that made him look like a moron, giving Ashley unnecessary attention.

It all irritated him. Couldn't that errand boy do everything that needed to be done without showing such a strange expression?

"It has nothing to do with you."

"It doesn't. But I'm curious. I want to get to know you better–"

"Who gave you permission to do so?” Ashley glared at Aiden for a moment before rolling his eyes lazily and looking away. His heart held frustration inside him, along with his desire to punch the man right then and there.

Hold on. Why should he wait if he could do it now?

Ashley momentarily glanced around the room, which was already quiet as almost all the students had left the class. He looked at Aiden, who was still looking at him with the same enthusiastic gaze as before.

In that instant, he stood up and pushed the man's head against the table.

"I don't need your enthusiasm, human." Ashley's eyes flashed with anger instantly, with both eyes turning into werewolf eyes. As the few remaining students in the room cried out in shock and fear, he gave them all a cold stare. His gaze managed to drive away everyone in the room full of fear, leaving only him and Aiden, who did not look frightened.

"Eh? So I can't–"

"Just do your job without asking too many questions, you moron!" He grabbed Aiden's hair, smashing Aiden's head against the table several times as a way to vent his anger at the man until he was satisfied.

"Now, do you understand?"

Aiden winced in pain now, giving a small nod. He couldn't see Aiden's face clearly because Aiden was hiding his face, and he didn't care about the reaction it created on the man's face.

Dammit, Ashley muttered to himself in frustration. Why did I accept his offer? Instead of bullying this fucking human, it feels like I'm the one being bullied …

He massaged his temples, which were throbbing with pain. His mind began to question whether his decision to accept Aiden as his errand boy to replace Michael Raymond was the right decision or not.

Until now, he could still wipe out Aiden's existence in his mind.

And up until that point, he had managed to do so. He managed to ignore the full attention Aiden gave him throughout the class, which made him uneasy.

As he pretended to ignore Aiden's existence, he put away his notes and then turned off his iPad screen. He started to tidy up his things while grunting in annoyance when, all of a sudden, Aiden's hand was already extended to him.

"Let me do it, Master.”

Chapter 6

"Let me do it, Master," Aiden repeated his words, this time in an emphasized tone. Aiden's firm hand held Ashley’s wrist, and the human shook his head confidently.

Aiden again showed the same expression as before. And as a result of his punch just now, a bruise appeared on Aiden's forehead and was so obvious that he was almost bleeding from it. He chuckled at Aiden's good intentions. In an instant, he swatted away Aiden's hand, which was trying to take the initiative to help clean up his things.

"Keep your hands–"

"Let me do it," Aiden repeated his words, this time in an emphasized tone. Aiden's firm hand held his wrist, and Aiden shook his head confidently. "This is my job. All you have to do is nothing."

"Suit yourself." He put all his things back on the table, letting Aiden tidy them up while occasionally grimacing and touching his forehead. He crossed his arms over his chest, ignoring Aiden. He let Aiden do his job while he shut his eyes. He returned the color of his eyes to brown iris.

Tiredness was starting to set in, apparently due to him focusing all his attention on today's lecture and working too hard on his fighting skills late into the night, making him unconsciously begin to feel sleepy. His entire body felt exhausted, repeatedly begging him to rest.

And finally, he lost. He let the exhaustion take over his body, transporting him briefly to dreamland before he felt someone's hand massaging his shoulder. At the same time, he could feel a rosemary-scented aromatherapy fragrance that made him feel calm.

When he opened his eyes, he found Aiden already standing behind him, massaging him with comforting movements, while on his desk, a small bottle of rosemary aromatherapy was open, spreading the soothing scent into the air.

"Are you comfortable now?"

He nodded, letting Aiden massage his shoulders at the same pace. Out of all his errand boys so far, this was the first time he found one who would actually do whatever he asked without protesting.

Even to the point of taking the initiative to massage his body now. He closed his eyes, letting Aiden continue massaging his body until he sighed softly.

"Rosemary oil essences will help calm your mind and reduce fatigue," Aiden said in a half-whisper, before the human stopped massaging his shoulders.

Tsk!

He opened his eyes, about to scold Aiden, when suddenly Aiden was kneeling in front of him.

"Your jacket buttons are about to fall off."

"Eh?"

"Please take off your jacket first, Milord," Aiden looked up, looking straight at him with a gentle gaze that he found hard to describe.

"What for?" Ashley's hands fumbled with the buttons of his favorite jean jacket before finding that the two buttons near his neck were about to come undone. "Let them be."

"I am afraid I can't do that, Milord."

"Can you fix them?"

"Of course."

Aiden moved from his spot, coming closer to Ashley. Aiden's dark brown irises looked straight at him without averting their gaze from him, until he could see the reflection of his own face in the human's eyes.

For a moment, he swore that he felt a strange sensation enveloping Aiden. A sensation that he found hard to describe. A sensation like a combination of shuddering in horror but, at the same time, creating a feeling of security within him.

It was like a puzzle piece was missing from inside him, and now it was in the hands of that despicable human.

He only found himself unable to do anything. It was like there were strange pheromones enveloping Aiden's body, bewitching him until he could no longer move away from Aiden.

"Just let go first, Milord. Let me fix it."

Only after hearing Aiden's next words did he manage to pull himself out of Aiden’s enchantment. It was Aiden's tone when he said it that sounded like he was telling him to do so that made him realize that he had been lured into the strange thing that enveloped Aiden for too long.

"Who gave you permission to do that, you bastard!?"

Both of Aiden's hands reflexively shot up, signaling him to back off.

"I didn't mean anything bad." Those dark, intense brown eyes still looked straight at his denim jacket. "I just wanted to fix it. My master should be perfect everywhere. In every aspect."

"Master?" He couldn't help but smile a little at Aiden's words. "I like that.”

"So you'd rather I call you Master?"

"Is that something you should ask?"

Aiden quickly looked away. "No."

"Good," he said, crossing his legs, still looking at Aiden. "Besides, why should I take off my jacket? Why do you care so much about my appearance?"

"That's...," Aiden now looked nervous, swallowing with his eyes still glued to Ashley. He could see Aiden's Adam's apple moving up and down.

What a freak, Ashley muttered to himself upon seeing Aiden's reaction. It was only today that they met. It was also just today that the man volunteered to be his slave. But why was that human so dedicated to him, doing everything without feeling the least bit burdened? He even felt—no, he was certain—that the human was worshipping him as a god.

Not that he didn't enjoy it anyway. He actually enjoyed it because it was rare that he met humans who truly understood where they belonged in the structure of the chain of living things. Where werewolves have the highest position compared to humans.

Where humans were supposed to worship werewolves. Finding out that the human named Aiden Connor knew where he should belong created a feeling of excitement in Ashley.

Ashley locked his gaze on Aiden's eyes, waiting for Aiden’s reply.

"Isn't it obvious?" Aiden finally broke the silence that surrounded him. This time Aiden's tone turned into a half-whisper, with the man's body getting closer to him. He no longer raised his hands like before, until the distance between him and Aiden was only a few centimeters.

And with such a close distance, he had no other choice but to smell Aiden's body. The combination of mint and a unique scent he didn't recognize made him flinch for a few moments.

"A person with a noble position like you should not look imperfect. Every detail of yours must not be flawed. There must be no flaws."

Aiden's answer just now managed to create a satisfied smile on his face. He touched Aiden's left cheek, rubbing it gently.

"Oh, you're adapting quickly to your new status, human. I like submissive types like you," he said, then patted Aiden's cheek. "If all humans would obey as easily as you and not try to rebel..."

"In that case, they are all idiots. For not recognizing your power."

His eyes widened for a moment upon hearing the human youth's words, before he returned to his flat face. He was happy to hear Aiden's answer, but he did not want to give Aiden that pleasure. He didn't want Aiden to feel happy. He should be thinking about his own pleasure, not the feelings of his slave.

So that very second, he slapped Aiden's cheek until the reddish mark was clearly visible on Aiden's left cheek.

"Who gave you permission to answer my question?"

"No one. Forgive my impudence, Master."

Ashley feigned a resentful expression, hiding the fact within himself that he was increasingly attracted to Aiden.

In appreciation that Aiden apologized to him immediately and did not complain of pain from the slap, he took off her beloved denim jacket. Only then did he realize that what Aiden had said was true. The buttons on his denim jacket were almost undone.

Wow. He surely has observant eyes, he muttered to himself as he gave the denim jacket to Aiden.

"Can you fix it?"

"These are small things, Master." Aiden sounded confident as he said it. "There's no need to worry. Back in the day, my late mother taught me how to fix my own clothes whenever they ripped or came apart, so I didn't have to buy new ones too often. We are not rich.”

"Oh. Whatever. Just make it quick and don't ruin my denim jacket."

"I would not dare to do that."

"Good. That's what I want to hear from your mouth."
