Chapter 2

After almost half an hour, Janice parked the car in the KDX club parking lot and turned to Brienne.

"Bree," she called her name softly. Brienne, lost in thought, stared out the window, not responding to Janice's voice. Concerned, Janice gently placed a hand on Brienne's shoulder to get her attention.

"Bree, if you want, I can take you home. I understand if you don't feel like going out with me," Janice said, her voice gentle and understanding. "Or we can go back to my place and drink. Sherry’s out with her friends, so we’d have the apartment to ourselves," she added with a hopeful smile. Bree glanced at her, touched by her friend’s concern, and smiled back.

"I'm alright, Nice. Thank you for earlier. Without you, I don't know what I would've done," Brienne said, placing her hand gently on Janice's.

"I'm your friend; punching him was the least I could do," Janice said, and they burst out laughing together. "But I'm disappointed you didn’t slap him. That man deserves it tenfold!" she added, pouting.

"After I confronted him, all I wanted was to vanish quickly because it hurt so much, Nice. I’ve been with him for two years," Brienne said, her tears starting to stream down her cheeks.

"Shush now, Bree. You don’t deserve that man," Janice replied, her tone full of comfort. "Let’s just go inside and have some fun, okay?" she added, giving Brienne’s hand a reassuring squeeze.

Brienne nodded, wiping away her tears, and they both stepped out of the car, determined to make the most of the night despite everything.

The two entered KDX, and the same loud, booming sound greeted them. Janice immediately pulled Brienne to the bar counter and guided her onto a stool.

"Drink, order whatever you want. I’m paying for it," Janice said with a wide smile.

"I can’t possibly do that, Nice. I’ll pay for my own drinks. You don’t need to do this for me," Brienne responded, her voice soft but firm.

"Come on, Bree, it’s not every day that I get to treat you, right? Today is officially 'me being generous day,’ so please, don’t worry about it," Janice replied, her tone playful yet sincere. Brienne sighed, knowing her friend well enough to realize that Janice wouldn’t back down. As much as Brienne didn’t want to be a burden, she understood that this was Janice’s way of showing support.

"Thank you, Nice," Brienne whispered. Janice started with a hard drink and recommended a liquor with a lower alcohol content for Brienne.

"Bree!" Janice called out; her voice already slurred from the liquor. "Let's go dance!" she added, giggling. Brienne, after downing two glasses of hard liquor, felt the alcohol’s effects too.

"L-Let's go!" she agreed, and they made their way to the dance floor. They danced to the lively music as if their lives depended on it, laughing the entire time. For a moment, Brienne forgot all about her problems. All she could focus on was the joy of dancing.

"Oh god, I can’t do this anymore. E-Everything around me is s-spinning!" Brienne exclaimed. "N-Nice, let’s go home—" she added before collapsing onto the couch. Janice and Brienne looked at each other and burst into uncontrollable laughter.

"Y-You’re drunk, B-Bree," Janice said, pointing her index finger at her friend while giggling.

"A-And so are you!" Bree replied, giggling as well. She tried to stand up again but groaned when she fell back down.

"Sh*t," she whispered. When she finally managed to stand, she moved beside Janice and grabbed her hand, trying to steady both of them.

"N-Nice, let’s go," Brienne urged, but Janice swatted her hand away, causing Brienne to lose her balance. Just as she was about to hit the ground headfirst, a strong pair of hands caught her.

"Ugh, l-let me go," she whispered. The man gently helped her sit back on the couch before releasing her. Through her blurred vision, Brienne stared at the man as he started to walk away and quickly grabbed his hand.

"What?" His deep voice sent a shiver down Brienne’s spine. She glanced at Janice and saw her lying on the couch, completely out of it.

"W-Will you d-dance with me?" she asked bravely, hiccuping. Brienne wasn’t sure where the sudden confidence came from, but she was determined to dance with this man.

"You're drunk," the man said.

"I can still dance," Brienne insisted, pouting. "Or maybe you don’t find me attractive either, just like my ex-boyfriend. He said I’m plain and boring," she whispered, her voice tinged with sadness. She was about to let go of his hand, but the man pulled her closer, causing her to bump into his broad chest.

"You're gorgeous. Your ex-boyfriend’s a sh*t who couldn’t f*cking see that," he said, making Brienne's heart race.

"Then why don’t you dance with me?" she asked, pouting like a kid denied her favorite treat.

"Because, babygirl, you're drunk," he replied, his tone gentle but firm.

"My name isn’t babygirl; I’m Bree," she said in a singsong voice, making the man chuckle.

"Okay, Bree. I’ll dance with you," he said and guided her to the dance floor. The song changed to a romantic slow tune, and everyone around them seemed wrapped up in their own little world. Bree wrapped her arms around the man’s neck and leaned against his chest.

"Are you sleeping?" the man asked, making Bree groan.

"O-Of course not!" she replied, glaring at him. The man cupped her face and leaned in.

"May I kiss you, Bree?" he asked.

"A-Are you like this with every woman you meet?" she asked with curiosity, her forehead creasing. The man shook his head.

"No, this is the first time I’ve asked a woman for a kiss," he answered, making Brienne blush. She bit her bottom lip, then tiptoed and kissed him gently.

"Won’t you kiss me back?" Brienne whispered. The man cursed under his breath and took Brienne’s lips with his. As the kiss deepened, so did the man's desire for her, but he eventually pulled away.

"You tasted divine, Bree," he said. Brienne opened her eyes and stared at him, her chest heaving up and down.

"Take me out of here, then," she said.

"Are you sure, babygirl?" the man asked, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. Brienne looked back and saw Janice still napping on the couch.

"You're worried about your friend?" the man asked. Brienne nodded. "I'll have my men take her home," he added.

"Then take me home," Brienne said. Was this the right choice? She had no idea. She didn’t even know the man personally.

"Understood, babygirl," the man said and took Brienne's hand as they walked out of the club.

Chapter 3

Brienne had no idea how they made it to the hotel; they had been too consumed with kissing, hungry for each other's lips. The man pinned her against the wall and locked the door behind them.

"Hmmm," Brienne breathed as she gently pushed him aside.

"Slow down," she whispered softly. The man, breathing heavily, gently cupped her face in his hands. Their eyes met—her green ones full of warmth, his blue ones intense. He slowly lifted Brienne, and she wrapped her arms and legs around him, holding him close.

"Are you sure you want this, doll?" the man asked. "You can back out now," he added as he slowly walked toward the king-sized bed. Brienne stared at him, taking in his defined features. His jawline was chiseled, his cheekbones high and prominent. His straight, well-proportioned nose complemented his other features. His thick eyebrows framed intense eyes that held a confident gaze. He was undeniably handsome.

"Are you done staring, doll?" he asked, his lips curling upward. Brienne gulped and looked away, but he gently turned her face back to him.

"Answer me," he said firmly. "Do you still want to do this?" he asked.

"Y-Yes," Brienne replied. The man laid her down on the bed, and she suddenly felt shy. Who would have thought she'd end up in bed with a stranger after breaking up with her cheating ex-boyfriend?

"What are you thinking about?" he asked as he began kissing her legs. Brienne's breath hitched.

"I'm thinking about your name," she replied. The man looked up at her and smiled.

"Raven," he said.

"Like the bird?" Brienne asked. Raven burst out laughing, leaving Brienne with a confused expression.

"Yes, babydoll, like the bird," Raven replied, kissing the back of her hand. It was the first time anyone had made that comparison, and he couldn't deny that it amused him. Brienne bit her bottom lip, and seeing this, Raven immediately placed his thumb on her lips.

"Don't do that," he uttered softly. "You're tempting me," he added. But when Raven removed his finger, Brienne unconsciously did it again. Raven growled, surprising Brienne, before pulling her into a deep, passionate kiss, as if he were drawing out her very soul with the intensity of it.

"R-Raven," she whispered between their kisses.

"Say you don't want this while I still have control over myself," he whispered in her ear. Brienne suddenly felt a wave of heat and pulled Raven closer.

"I want this," Brienne replied. Raven felt his eyes flash golden. He kissed her neck, eagerly cupped her breast, and tore her clothes away.

Raven kissed her chest and removed her bra. Brienne gasped and moaned as he began playing with her nipples. He teased her with his touch, and Brienne couldn't help but crave for more.

"Raven," she called out his name. Raven cursed under his breath. He had bedded many women before, but the desire he felt for the woman beneath him was overwhelming. He had wanted her from the moment he helped her, but he wasn't the kind of man to sleep with a woman without her consent, especially when she was drunk. When Brienne initiated it, Raven didn't hesitate to bring her back to the hotel he owned.

"Yes, Bree?" Raven asked as he licked her nipple.

"M-More, please," she said shyly.

Raven felt his arousal intensify and began sucking her nipples alternately, determined to give her the pleasure she deserved.

Raven trailed kisses from her chest down to her p*ssy. He removed her underwear, and Brienne quickly covered herself, biting her lips.

"Remove your hand, babydoll," he said. "Let me taste you," he added.

"R-Raven, no, it's dirty," she protested, but Raven ignored her plea and gently removed her hands. He then began licking her p*ssy.

Brienne couldn't help but moan, struggling to keep control as the pleasure overwhelmed her. She grabbed Raven's hair and arched her back as his tongue teased her entrance. When Raven pushed a finger inside, she gasped in delight.

"Ohhh!"

Raven started thrusting his finger in and out of Brienne, and all she could do was moan his name. As she felt something building inside her, Brienne began to tremble.

"T-There's something wrong with me," she whispered.

"It's okay, baby. Cum, babydoll. Cum for me," Raven urged, and Brienne came in his hand. She panted heavily, but Raven wasn't done yet.

He stood up and removed his pants, revealing his already hard d*ck, ready to f*ck the gorgeous woman beneath him. Brienne gulped at the sight of how big Raven was.

"Will that fit me?" she whispered.

"Of course, baby," Raven replied as he slowly inserted his hard shaft into Brienne. She clung tightly to him, her sharp nails digging into his back as he pushed himself deeper.

"R-Raven!" Brienne called out.

"It's okay, baby, relax," Raven reassured her, but he cursed under his breath when he saw the blood on the sheet. He hadn't realized Brienne was a virgin. He had assumed that because she had a boyfriend, she wasn't anymore. Guilt washed over him as he saw her tears and heard her little sobs. Raven kissed her forehead, then down to her nose, her cheeks, and finally her lips.

"I'm sorry," he said softly. "I'll pull out, babygirl," he added.

"No!" Brienne yelled, looking up at him. "No, don't pull it out. I can take it," she insisted. Raven sighed and gently wiped her tears away.

"Okay, baby," he said. Raven waited for Brienne to adjust to his size, and when she gave him the signal to continue, he did, starting off very slow. Raven thrust his d*ck in and out of Brienne's p*ssy.

"Aaahhh! R-Raven!" Brienne moaned as Raven's thrusts became faster and deeper. The loud slapping of their skin, along with their moans and groans, echoed through the room.

"Raven... almost..." she gasped.

"I know, baby. Let's do it together," Raven said, intertwining their fingers. With one hard, deep thrust, Raven released inside her. Horrified, he realized he had come inside her.

"F*ck," he whispered. Caught up in the pleasure, he had forgotten to use protection. Brienne was simply irresistible to him. Raven looked at Brienne, who was already snoring.

He grabbed a tissue from the table and cleaned her up, then gave her his shirt and covered her with a blanket.

"Sleep tight, Bree. I'll take responsibility for everything," he said, kissing her forehead. Raven lay next to her, pulling her closer into his embrace, closing his eyes, and letting sleep take over him.

Chapter 4

Brienne woke up with a massive headache and immediately massaged her temple, hoping to relieve the symptoms. Not only her head but her whole body ached. As she looked around, memories of last night flooded back to her. She glanced at Raven beside her and let out a nervous chuckle at the sight of their clothes on the floor.

"What did I do?" she whispered. Gently removing Raven's hand from her tummy, Brienne stood up. She found her bag on the floor and quickly grabbed it. She fished her phone out of her bag and saw fifty missed calls and texts from Janice.

"Oh, God! Brienne, you crazy woman! Why did you give up your virginity to a stranger?" she murmured. Suddenly, her phone rang, and when Brienne saw Janice's name, she immediately answered the call.

"Nice..."

"Where the hell on earth are you?! I woke up in this empty hotel room without you by my side," Janice said. Brienne bit her bottom lip, a habit of hers whenever she felt embarrassed.

"Nice..."

"What?!" Janice yelled.

"I'm sorry, where are you? I'll come to you and explain everything," she whispered, putting on her underwear and bra.

"I'm sorry too, Bree. It just scared me that you weren't with me. I thought something bad had happened to you," Janice said. Brienne turned around and stared at the man. Something had definitely happened to her, but it wasn’t bad—maybe a little dangerous.

"Text me the location; I'll see you soon, Nice," she said and ended the call. Limping, Brienne moved beside the man. Fortunately, the shirt was big enough to serve as a dress that reached above her knees. She touched Raven's face and quickly left the room, bringing everything with her. Brienne didn’t wake Raven because she knew it would be the last time she saw him. It was just a one-night stand and nothing more.

Brienne left the hotel in a hurry and got into a taxi. Ten minutes later, she arrived at the hotel where Janice was staying. Janice immediately spotted her and pulled her inside the room.

"What happened to you? Why are you wearing a man's shirt?" she asked. Brienne sat on the bed and clasped her hands together.

"I slept with someone last night," she confessed.

"You what?!" Janice screamed in surprise. "What the hell, Bree?! Are you out of your mind?! What if he's a killer?" she added.

"I'm sorry," Brienne said, bowing her head. "I don't know what got into me, but when we danced last night, I felt something," she added.

"Bree, I know your breakup might have influenced what happened last night, but that was dangerous—sleeping with a man you didn't know," Janice said as she sat next to her.

"I'm sorry, Nice. I'm sure he won't search for me. It's not like we'll see each other again," Brienne said.

"You better hope so," Janice replied. Then, raising her eyebrows up and down, she asked, "How was it?"

"It was... great," Brienne answered. "He's so dreamy, Nice, and a gentleman!" she added, her cheeks blushing. It seemed like the pain from her breakup with Jasper had faded after sleeping with Raven.

"Oh, someone got some good D last night," Janice said, making Brienne blush even more as she remembered the passionate night they shared.

"It's not that..."

"It's alright, Bree. You and Jasper broke up because of his cheating ass," Janice said.

"Am I wrong, Nice? I didn't give up my virginity to Jasper for the two years we were together because I was saving it for our wedding. But just one night after we broke up, I gave it to someone I don't even know," she said.

"What you did wrong was sleeping with a stranger, which could have ended dangerously, Bree. But having sex with someone you like? That's fine. Now, let's go home. We still have work, and we're going to be late," she said. Brienne heaved a sigh. Oddly enough, Janice's words comforted her.

Meanwhile, Raven woke up to an empty bed. No Bree next to him. He groaned and sat up, grabbing his ringing phone.

"Alpha," the caller said.

Alpha—the highest position in a pack of the Children of the Moon, also known as werewolves. It is a title given to the strongest werewolf who will lead the pack for generations. And the mighty Alpha who commands the Crescent Stone pack, the largest pack in the City of Flogate, is Raven.

"Carter, report what happened," Raven said while putting on his pants. When he searched for his shirt, he couldn't help but smile, noticing it was missing. Bree, whose dress he had destroyed, must have worn his shirt.

"Nothing, Alpha. After we brought the woman to the hotel as you instructed, the boys and I returned to the pack," Carter reported.

"Good. I'll be in my office. Bring me another pair of clean clothes, Carter," Raven ordered.

"Yeah, yeah. So, how was your night?" Raven's Beta asked.

The Beta holds the second-highest position in the pack and is the one the Alpha trusts the most, serving as their right-hand person.

"It was f*cking great, but she left," Raven said, shaking his head. He wanted to know Bree more, but seeing how eagerly she left the room ended that.

"What? Oh, come on! That's not the Raven I know," Carter said, laughing. Raven sighed.

"F*ck you. I want you to find her," he said. They were compatible, and Raven knew it. The sex they had last night was incredible, and he regretted not waking up first.

"Fine, give me the name," Carter said.

"Bree," Raven answered as he put on the robe.

"That's it?" Carter asked.

"Yeah, that's it," Raven replied.

"F*ck, thanks for the info, Rave," Carter muttered. "Okay, I'll let the boys know. We'll find your princess, Prince Charming," he added. Raven rolled his eyes and ended the call. As he was about to leave the room, he noticed something shiny on the bed. He walked over and picked it up—it was an earring. Raven's lips curled into a smile as he slipped the earring into his pocket.

He left the room, and the hotel attendant standing nearby immediately followed, knowing the VIP guest had just stayed.

"Did you notice if the woman I was with left the building?" Raven asked.

"We haven’t noticed, Alpha, but we can check the CCTV for you," the hotel attendant said.

"No, it’s okay," Raven replied.

"Forgive us, Alpha," the attendant said.

"It’s alright. Just do your job properly. I’ll send Carter at the end of the month," Raven said. The hotel attendant nodded, and the chauffeur handed him his car keys. He thanked his employee and got into the car. Raven drove to his office, where he would meet his Beta.
