Beta Manro knew what is going to happen when the Alpha King got enraged. He will not give forgiveness to anyone who offended him. He suddenly feared for the life of the newly chosen Alpha’s Breeder.
“That Zeta is so bold to escape. No one ever did that before under my nose!” Alpha King Dantes, said in between his gritting teeth.
“My Alpha King, I will prepare everything now. If you will excuse me.” Beta Manro quickly walked away upon the Alpha King’s nodding. He just hopes that the Zeta is not yet in the hands of the rogue Alpha because he did not know what kind of war is going to happen when that brave Zeta would be touched by the rogue Alpha. Much more, she does not want to think that the Zeta drowned in the ocean while escaping.
Alpha King Dantes squinted his eyes not wanting to think about the possibility that the newly chosen Alpha’s breeder would already be in the hands of his number one enemy, Alpha Branden.
Beta Manro gathered half of their best warriors and ordered the preparation of their ship. Once ready, he went to the Alpha King’s office to inform him.
“My Alpha King, everything is ready for our voyage now,” Beta Manro said after bowing his head.
“That’s good Beta Manro. Viceroy Jaq, stay here and make sure that everything will be alright here. No information yet about the escape of the newly chosen Alpha’s breeder should be out of the four walls of this palace and the mini-castle.” Alpha King Dantes said, instructing his Viceroy.
“Yes, Your Highness,” Viceroy Jaq replied as he bowed his head too.
Just in a few minutes and the ship of the Alpha King can be seen speeding toward the island across the majestic palace.
The warriors inside the ship were all ready and armed. Alpha King Dantes can be seen standing on the front side of the ship, with his sense of smell being heightened to its maximum limit. With that, he could easily determine where to find the newly chosen Alpha’s breeder, who just escaped from his Kingdom.
On the bay side, a human form clad in a black outfit lay down on the sand. The darkness envelopes the human form while the sea water would rush splashing into that form from time to time.
A moment later the human form moved a bit and groaned softly that catching the attention of a group of men roving around the premises. They searched for the sound using their flashlight until they noticed the human body clad in a black outfit lying nearby the bay. They ran toward the body and checked if the human is still alive.
The head of the roving guard turned the body to see the human’s appearance and was surprised to know that it is a woman. He checked her pulse and was able to breathe with relief when he noticed that she is still alive.
Nearby, a big frame with the most commanding aura compared to every man around, walked fast until he reached the woman lying on the sand, still unconscious.
“Alpha Branden, she is still breathing. She is alive,” the head guard informed the man who just arrived in the scene.
Not replying at all, the man called, Alpha Branden knelt beside the woman and checked her face using the flashlight he was holding. His eyes suddenly lit up and a devilish smile formed on his lips.
“A woman, a beautiful woman,” Alpha Branden muttered.
“Alpha could it be that she is a spy sent by the Kingdom?” the head guard suddenly asked while looking at the woman.
The Alpha shook his head. “She is not. I know a Kingdom’s spy when I see one. She does not look like a spy,” the Alpha said, and then gently he scooped the woman’s body and carried her.
“Call Doctor Pat. He needs to check her,” Alpha Branden ordered.
The head guard nodded. “Where shall I tell Doctor Pat to go, Alpha?”
“We will bring her to my villa. Tell Doctor Pat to go there,” he announced and the guards around looked at their Alpha with a knowing look and then nodded.
“Yes, Alpha Branden,” they answered almost at the same time.
With the woman in his arms, Alpha Branden walked with hurried steps until he reached his villa. He brought the woman directly to his room and laid down her body on his bed.
He then sat on the bed beside her, while looking intensely into the whole feature of the woman.
“Beautiful… she is such a beautiful she-wolf,” the Alpha murmured.
Before the doctor could even arrive at Alpha Branden’s villa, Andreitte slowly opened her eyes. The first thing that her eyes caught was a huge and tall man standing beside her bed, hovering at her. He was looking at her intently, maybe wondering what kind of a she-wolf she is.
Her eyes wandered into his face down to his torso and when she looked up again, her face suddenly turned to scarlet as the man was grinning at her.
“Do I look good enough, lost she-wolf?” he asked her, his grin never fading.
“Lost She-wolf?”
“Yes. I called you, lost she-wolf because we found you at the bay. No one can be found if not lost,” he said chuckling, and Andreitte is not sure if she is mocking her or joking.
“I was not lost. I escaped,” she murmured.
“Escaped? From whom?” the huge and tall man asked.
“May I know first, who are you and where am I?” she retorted wanting to know if she could trust the man.
The man smiled widely and sat beside her on the bed. She tried to sit down but she feels weak still, so he stopped her from doing so.
“Lay still, you will just hurt yourself. Let your body recover from fatigue, thirst and pressure and some injuries, bruises,” he said.
She obeyed and then looked at him again, inquisitively.
“I am Alpha Branden,” he simply said, but the name is familiar to Andreitte. Her eyes grew wide.
“Alpha Branden, the rogue Alpha?” she then covered her mouth while reprimanding herself. Her mouth could not control to mutter a word that might be offensive. “Apology, Alpha Branden,” she then said softly, embarrassed.
“It is fine. I am proud to be called the Rogue Alpha because it means, I was the only Alpha with real balls to go against the mighty Alpha King,” he said grinning again and Andreitte felt relieved with what he said.
“Gosh, I thought you will rip off my neck because of that word,” Andreitte exclaimed earning the sudden laughter of Alpha Branden.
While watching him laugh boyishly, Andreitte feels somewhat relaxed and comfortable.
“And how about you? What should I call you? Escapee She-wolf? ” He was teasing and Andreitte knew it. She chuckled.
“Andreitte. I am Andreitte.”
“Nice name. The strong and fearless She-wolf, that is what your name means.”
“I know, my mother told me so,” she murmured, in agreement with what he said.
“Why did you escape, by the way, and from whom did you escape?” remembering the question he posed a while ago, Alpha Branden asked her again.
Andreitte was about to answer Alpha Branden, when the Doctor arrived.
“Alpha Branden, good evening,” the Doctor greets him and he nodded.
“Doctor Pat, please check if she is just fine. I know you have been told already, how we found her, am I right with my assumption?”
“Yes, Alpha Branden,” Doctor Pat replied and then he opened his black doctor’s bag and got his stethoscope inside.
“Let me check your, Miss,” he said.
“You may call me, Andreitte, Doctor Pat,” she said with a smile to the middle-aged doctor, who seemed to be the kind of Doctor that you will immediately trust.
Andreitte was checked by Doctor Pat and was declared fine except for some bruises which are actually healing fast compared to an ordinary she-wolf.
“She just needs to rest, Alpha Branden, and needs to drink more water since she was being dehydrated. I was thinking of putting her on an IV but I could see that her healing and recovery is fast. You are not an omega, right?” the Doctor asked with a warm smile and Andreitte nodded.
“What kind of she-wolf are you, Andreitte?” it was Alpha Branden who asked, with obvious curiosity.
“Zeta. I am a Zeta she-wolf,” she said with pride.
Alpha Branden’s eyebrows raised as she mentioned the word Zeta. “Ohh, a rare werewolf species, with multiple abilities. Good. Doctor Pat, you can go ahead now, if she is just fine. Just tell the maids to bring bottles of water here,” he then stated.
“Alright. Excused me.” Thereafter, Doctor Pat got out of the Alpha’s room.
“Now, answer my questions which are still unanswered until now,” he demanded but with a calm tone.
“I escaped from the Alpha King.”
“Why?”
“I… I was the chosen new Alpha’s breeder,” she looked at him after saying so, and there she saw the anger that suddenly crossed the rogue Alpha’s good-looking face.
“That son of a gun!” he hissed with fury. His fists clenched tightly.
“Alpha Branden,” she called at him, surprised at his reaction.
He then focused his fiery eyes on her and then spoke,” There is only one solution for you to totally escape from being the chosen Alpha’s breeder and the Alpha King could not do anything if it happens.”
In awe and complete wonder, she asked him eagerly. “Please tell me, Alpha Brendan, what is that only solution aside from death?”
