One of his girls, Greg, patrolled from place to place in his suit agitatedly. It had been a few days since he had been with the blue-haired and hazel-green-eyed girl, yet he was still overwhelmed by recollections of her. He windswept his hair and gathered his arms as he moved from one particular verge of his apartment to another.
All this was going on because he was so drunk by her, that he had lost control that night and marked her. But he had been with numerous ladies in the past and had gotten over it approximately.
This particular lady appears to have stayed with him like a perpetual mark just because he had made a mistake and patent her.
He snarled in hindrance as he remembered how her appearance wrinkled when he chased her out the next morning. This was the first time he had felt guilt for any of his actions and it peeved him. He had done worse to other ladies, so why did her sad appearance disturb him?
"Shit," he roared, broke his fistful into the wall.
All this shit wouldn't have happened if he hadn't gotten drunk and carried away after he had destroyed that filthy pack. He had been so drunk with his victory and power that he had told his warriors who had accompanied him to go out and have fun, while he went for a run in the forest.
Somehow, he crossed into Blossom's pack territory, and because he felt like he was on top of the world, he allowed his curiosity to sway him into traveling the pack. He was also very horny. He needed a sweet female to release all that stifled energy within him.
At that moment, he changed into his human form and walked around Blossom in disguise. When he stumbled into the bar, he was approximately fascinated by the crying ash-Lloyd-haired girl.
She wasn't actually his sort. He desired loud horrible females who just wanted a hot night, but the Lloyd-haired scent pleased him. He watched her throughout the night, waiting for her to get drunk enough to become an easy no-win situation.
Shrewd that it was his cue when she began to laugh uproariously and move messily, he approached her and once she tossed her head around to give him a full view of her body and face, a tremor ran through his body.
Holy fuck! She was beautiful.
Of course, he had seen more gorgeous women, but the woman before him had this flimsy, yet foremost air to her. Her hazel green eyes and full lips called out to him. She had the faultless magnitude of boobs he loved, cheerful, not too firm, and not too soft.
He saw that grief penetrated abysmally into her eyes and something warned him to keep off. He had normally avoided broken girls.
Apparently, his wolf, too, wanted her. His wolf was a beast and if he refused what it wanted, he knew that it would somehow come back and take her by force. The lady was not making it easy by smiling hilariously.
Everything about her drove me crazy. It wanted to imprint itself on her and make her scent his. It was strange because his wolf had never been so territorial before.
Greg wriggled to keep his wolf in check as he entered her. The fight for control and her loud moans made the experience even more exciting. Yet the moment his wolf saw the mark of another on her, it was enraged and marked her on top of it.
That snapped Greg out of a frenzy. He was instantly filled with uninhibited fury. Still, his wolf fought until it completed the mark above her breast and at the back of her neck, licking it to seal it out of eyesight.
When morning came, Greg directed the anger and annoyance he felt for himself at her. It intensified him when he got back from his run, and he was enthusiastic by her arousal.
In another development, what was worse was that she appeared in his dreams every night; after having that remarkable sexual role, his dreams turned to nightmares where he saw her suffering and pleading for his help. It always left him and his wolf troubled. He needed to do something about it rapidly.
"My great Alpha, you called me," Mark, his most trusted warrior and companion, said as he entered his room.
"Sure," he grumbled, puffing and holding the bridge of his nose.
He despised how he was drawn to her. He despised how he felt and there was one way he knew how to remedy his little obsessions. It was to find her again and have her till he got over her or make her hate him.
"Send scouts into Blossom. I need you to find an ash-Lloyd-haired lady with hazel-green eyes. She is a bit rosy-skinned, and slim but with wide hips. Find her and bring her to me. Find her before the Blossom Party tonight. I need to get over her quickly." he ordered. Mark bowed and walked out briskly.
The entire day went by with Mark and some of his warriors going in search of her, but it was all to no avail. Greg was utterly pissed by the time he arrived at the Blossom pack hall for the party.
There were a lot of gorgeous damsels making gesticulations and flinging themselves at him. It gave him joy, excited as it made him laugh when he understood of the innumerable number of females that thought they could pacify and mate him only to end up becoming fanatical over his body and getting tossed aside when he became tired of them.
Some beautiful ones wedged his thoughts as the party was ongoing and he decided that if he couldn't find the Lloyd-haired lady, he would take out his thwarting on them in bed instead.
Greg didn't care for Alpha Lloyd but was impressed by the thrill of the party. Lloyd was authoritative and callous, but not as dominant or callous as him. Yet Greg knew that he had to be checked lest he grow wings and become arrogant. After all, Blossom had been close allies with the pack he had just besotted.
Another thing that amplified Greg's contempt for the arrogant Lloyd was that he only cared about his position and not his pack members.
Every powerful man knew that to truly succeed one had to be careful about the people one surrounded himself with. Lloyd didn't care. A report had it that it was his mate who looked out for the pack members.
Greg found it revolting, he is uncomfortable with the word, mate. He could never have one or live his pack in the hands of a female. He only saw them as free sex givers.
Weary of the galore, he was ready to call it a night when the anchor said.
"And on a final note, let's have some closing remarks from Blossom's adorable Luna, Melissa Maurice,"
A wonderful cheer and ovation echoed around the hall. At once, Greg was inquisitive to see the supposed Luna. He watched as she climbed the stage, adorned in a pale green sheath gown that slurped her curvatures and paid tribute to her eyes. He heaved a sigh when he recognized her.
Shit! She looked magnificent and all opinions of devouring any other lady that night disappeared. His wolf began to go wild within him.
Greg wanted her and he didn't care if she was another person's mate and the consequences that could cost. He could go for whatever he wants at the expense of whose odds is god.
He carefully watched her every single movement, his eyes stunning her body. He barely heard anything that she had said.
When she was done addressing the crowd, she went through the backstage. Greg couldn't hold it, immediately got to his feet, and trailed her scent until he found her in the dressing room behind the stage.
He crept up on her. She didn't notice him because she was too busy crying. He sighed in irritation; there was nothing he hated more than weaklings.
"We will meet again," he roared. She jumped back, her hazel eyes protruding out. On recognizing him, pain flashed through her eyes.
"Y-you," She sputtered, clutching her breasts.
Greg sucked his teeth. Was she intentionally seducing him, on realizing that he was also the notorious Alpha of Shadow Moon Pack?
She gasped, and fear pooled out of her pores. Greg chuckled at Shadowy, reveling in her fear.
"You're as ruthless as they say." She sneered, getting to her feet.
Greg growled, he hated the frustration and hatred for him that flashed in her eyes. He was aroused but she wasn't. She appeared to despise him.
Deafening again, he grasped her into his arms, his mouth spontaneously found his mark above her chest and touched it; her breath ceased for a moment.
He giggled, "You're coming home with me."
"Never," She responded, her breath heavy, her eyes trembling open and close. "This is my pack. I'm Luna."
Greg Sneered,
"We shall see." He said, letting go of her. He was astonishingly pleased as the scent of her awakening swarmed the room as he returned to his place in the packed hall.
Following her resistance towards him, he had come up with a modest plan. Approximately after the event was over, he was going to bargain for her with Lloyd and if he declined him, he was going to bring hell to Blossom. Luna or not, she was his, and we are his stand.
When he got her, he was going to use every means to break the spell she had over him.
The presence of Alpha Greg was disturbing to Melissa since she didn't appreciate it when someone walked towards her without notice.
Instantaneously after Alpha Greg left, Melissa gradually fell to the ground, trembling and guzzling in the air. That was the most intense moment of her life. What the hell did that ungodly good-looking man have over her? Why was her body melting under his touch and gaze even after he had said the worst words anyone had said to her in a long time?
"Taking some breaths both in and out," she puffed, blowing her burning face. He also made the most ridiculous statement she had heard in a while. What did he mean by that statement 'she was going home with him?'
He may be an Alpha, the most brutal Alpha known to the werewolf world, but Lloyd was her mate. Despite the reproachful conduct he was giving her, she was still his. They were destined mates.
"Just breathe," she mumbled to herself and placed her hands on her thrashing heart to calm it.
She couldn't comprehend why, notwithstanding all the promising words and views she was giving to herself, she still felt afraid. Her body shivered, her heart battered within her chest, and how her wolf was going crazy in her unconscious.
"There she is," an unknown voice murmured, as the door of her dressing room was thrown open. She was taken aback by this unexpectedness and moved a bit far away from the door.
"Would you let me know where you have been? Are you not aware that Alpha Lloyd has been looking for you all over the residence? Have you now failed to recall your duties as Luna of Blossom?"
Melissa freed a breath she didn't know she was holding and gathered herself to her feet. She then looked at her impostor for the first time and it was one of the Omegas Lloyd had been with.
Melissa moved her eyes, and then glared at her replication in the mirror, play-acting to ignore the young miss.
"Idiot, are you paying attention to me? Are you deaf or are you dumb? Alpha Lloyd has demanded that you be at his side instantly. And you are disregarding me!" She fumed.
Ridiculing, Melissa continued to pretend like she was regulating her face.
The young werewolf roared, "You're cocky, huh? You are cocky because you know I can't do anything to you right now. Well, watch what happens after the party."
With that, she stomped out of Melissa's dressing room and banged the door close. It took Melissa a whole lot of self-control to keep herself from bursting into laughter. She always loved placing the disgusting slips in their spaces, even though she understood the consequences would be terrible.
She chose not to worry about that now and even overlooked Lloyd. She allowed herself to fall onto the comfy couch in her dressing room and then puff out.
The past few days had been total ecstasy for her. Lloyd had been too busy with his grand get-together and she had been loitering in the shadows and avoiding him completely.
"Ugh," she squealed. "All this will be over when that brutal Alpha Greg returns to his pack."
She massaged her temples with her eyes shut, wishing that, by some miracle, something would happen and extend his stay. At least that way, she would have a couple more days of freedom. At the thought of Alpha Greg, a cool shiver snaked up her spine, causing her to sit upright instantly.
Why was the mere thought of him making her body react like that? She laughed grimly as she remembered his intimidations. He was not only impolite and terrific but also out of his mind.
Why would a normal-thinking person believe or even pretend to take away the Luna of a pack? It was hysterical and if she hadn't been so pissed off at him, she would have giggled tougher. Her ears were able to pick up the sound of thundering footsteps heading toward the dressing room and she jumped to her feet immediately.
"Melissa!" Lloyd roared, throwing open the door, "Are you silly? What the hell are you doing in here after I sent for you about an hour ago?"
Melissa's eyes went around with dread. Her heartbeat became unbalanced and her breathing became labored.
"I-I," she stuttered, shifting slowly until she was leaning on the dresser.
Lloyd sneered, the veins on his neck looked like they were about to bust open. He balled his fists, pushed away the chair in front of her, and snarled at her.
"What audacity do you have to ignore me, you stupid girl? How dare you disdain me! How many times do I have to warn you about your disregard for me? Do you think I will not find out?
The girl I sent to you told me the whole thing. You called her names, you disobeyed me, and you dared to stand here and stare at me in the eyes!" he screamed before closing the gap between them.
"I see you've arisen to grow wings again. Because I've been busy for the past few days, do you think you are now free? Have you forgotten your place so soon? Have you forgotten how you came here? Irrational bigot!"
Melissa could barely breathe. Her fingernails dug into her palms as she fisted them. Sweat broke out from her forehead and her legs shivered underneath her.
"I'm sorry," she grumbled, her hands flying to her quivering lips.
Lloyd laughed maniacally; his eyes flew from gold back to their normal color.
"I could see that you should win a reward for best in play-acting, swine!" He swung his arms and gave her a weighty slap that sent her hitting into the mirror behind her.
"The next time I call you, you attend my call!" He knotted, beating her again before she could recover.
This time around she fell to the floor crying. A rupture of hurt ragged through her body. Her eyes began rotating and she curled up as stinging tears seeped out of her eyes.
"I would have dispensed with you terribly if not for the party!" He puffed, and sweat dribbled out from his face. "Get the fuck up from the floor, clean yourself up, and join me at my table!"
With that, he stormed off. As soon as the door closed, Melissa broke into silent tears. Her wolf raged within her. She tried getting to her feet but fell back to the floor. The door swung open again and a couple of chitterling Omegas came in. Approximately when they saw her sprawling on the floor, they laughed hilariously.
"I am not surprised that he was going to deal with her rightly," one ridiculed, "Come on, get up bitch." Another one said as they pulled her up and discarded her on the upholstery.
"Ugh, I hate this, why do we always have to be the ones to clean her up?" Another one complained.
"Shut up and let's do this."
Melissa winced as they dabbed and cleaned the cuts on the visible parts of her body, and then forcefully applied makeup to conceal the healing wounds. Irritation and agony teemed within her, but she sat stiff as they worked on her body
.
"Stupid thing, always making us go through rubbish," one said, universally stabbing the wound on her arm.
Melissa let out a soft moan and snatched her arm away from her. Her eyes were turning black and red again. Melissa's wolf fought for control because Lloyd wasn't nearby.
She bared her teeth at the Omega, releasing a low growl that made the girl jump back. No matter what, she was still the Alpha's mate and Luna of Blossom, so even if Lloyd preserved her like shit, she still had power over them.
At the sound of her growl, they all stepped back and stared wide-eyed at her. Melissa's wolf fed into the fear oozing out from their bodies. It is reinforced, and soon, it gives way to control out of Melissa's grasp.
Melissa matted, clutching her bruised arm. Her wolf gazed at each Omega from its red and black eyes. This was the first time it had been in control in a long time. Lloyd had always made sure to compel it to stand down. It wanted blood. It wanted to tear out the skins of the stupid Omegas.
It wanted to escape and run free into the forests.
Knowing what would happen and the consequences it would bring, Melissa struggled to regain control.
"You get out of here!!" She growled, banging her hands on the dresser as she shook her head to push her wolf back in and take control.
The girls hobbled out of the dressing room, shivering like drenched dogs. As soon as the door closed, Melissa leaned back into the chair and exhaled.
Her heart began beating in her chest. If she didn't follow suit immediately, they would report her to Lloyd and she would collect a worse penalty.
With an effort she pushed herself up, almost losing her balance. As soon as she tried to move her feet, pain shot up her leg.
"Fuck," she hissed, closing her eyes and leaning onto the dresser, as the intense aching pounded in her left leg. She pried open one of her eyes to inspect the leg.
"Fuck," She murmured again, knowing that she needed to move quickly. Piercing her lips slowly, she took another step and let out a penetrating scream.
She imbibed in more air as the agony moved onto her chest and cuddled it. In a few minutes, she normalized her breathing and was able to take another step toward the door.
Every step she took hurt more than the one before, but she pushed forward, hobbling until she held onto the door knob.
Taking a deep breath, she twisted the door and allowed her face to slip into that of quiet, impeccable, earmarked, and pleased Luna.
Although her mind was about to detonate; she steered through the corridors until she got to the main hall and located Lloyd's table.
Getting closer to him, anger lashed in her chest. There, he was amused and excited by the members of the Shadow Moon Pack after beating her up. The worst part of her situation was to smile and pretend to be Luna of Blossom when she was worse than a slave.
"So tell me, Lloyd, how do you keep your enemies at bay? Do you sign accords with one and all?" A familiar voice asked.
Melissa stopped in her trajectories and held her breath. Her senses began raucous horns as Alpha Greg suddenly turned up beside Lloyd, with animosity lustrous in his eyes.
Melissa saw Lloyd's expression at his question. It was a trick question as well as an insult. Lloyd's eyes hastily swept through the room in search of a quick escape. Weakling. Melissa pondered.
"Oh, there she is!" Lloyd cooed, standing up, drawing her into his arms, and fiercely kissing her. His lumpy arms pierced into the wounds he had created earlier, causing her to whimper, but that wasn't the only thing Melissa noted.
Why did Lloyd's kiss rebuff her so much? He was her mate, and despite the cruel handling she had received from him all this while, her body always desired his touch.
Then why did a certain man flash in her mind as her mate rough-handled her all in the name of being sold to him? Why had she felt the eyes of that certain man tedious into her skin as she held her mate?
To some degree, something appears not to be in order.
Following the warm kiss Lloyd gave his mate and the way he acted like he loved her so much, the atmosphere was tense and some got at what happened while a few were not contented
Alpha Greg's wolf boiled with fury as it witnessed the act before them. Greg was unable to grasp why his wolf was acting this way, and it only served to aggravate him more. He knew he needed to distance himself from the position, to forget about the woman who had stirred such intense emotions within him before he did something irresponsible.
Most especially, the happenstance in the dressing room had been frightening, a game of mischievous wishes.
Greg desired her, but he premeditated to bide his time, pending that he had her right where he wanted, to then relieve himself from her grasp. However, that didn't mean he didn't visualize gushing blood from anyone who stood between them, particularly her mate Lloyd, and jettisoning any hint of male scent from her pending he had gratified his own wishes.
"Alpha," Mark interjected, appearing at his side, "we've thoroughly searched for the girl you described, but found no trace."
Greg sneered and gestured towards the response.
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"She's the Luna of Blossom, for fuck's sake."
"Yeah."
"And you still yearn for her?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, shit, Greg!"
"Yeah."
"Come on, this isn't the best, that's like thrusting a sleeping tiger or pulling the tail of a lion," Greg sniggered. "If I may ask, does he really look like a tiger?
More like a puppy."
Mark sighed and massaged his temples. "It's not worth it."
"Not when I naively marked her," Greg replied.
"Wow, this is serious," Mark exclaimed, his eyes broadening. "But, how did she... when... you?" He stammered.
Alpha Greg giggled again.
"Accurately"
Mark moaned heavily. "How the hell did you even meet Luna? You slept with her and even imprinted your mark on her?" He hissed. "Alpha Lloyd keeps that woman under lock and key! He's extremely protective of her, or so I've heard. And why shouldn't he be? She's his mate and beloved by her Pack members!"
Greg slashed his stare away from Lloyd and Melissa for a minute to look at his Chief warrior.
"Why do you sound like Dave?"
"Because Dave's the sensible one. Honestly, if he wasn't your Beta, I wonder what would have become of you."
Greg shrugged his cool conduct on the edge of devastation. Firstly, Lloyd was still mouthing in the name of showing affection, and secondly, Mark was right.
Hell no! He had never felt this way before. His wolf was moments away from flouting free, and if it did, Lloyd would die.
There was no two ways about it.
Greg closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. He vehemently unclenched his fists, placing them flat on the table, and respired slowly.
"You really need to take your time and think about this though, Greg. Don't do anything silly. Don't let women decay the whole lot for you."
Greg paused and peeped back at the couple as they moved apart.
"Wow!! Holy shit!!!," Mark murmured, his eyes widening as he observed Melissa up close for the first time.
Greg's heart twanged and his fists gritted once again.
"Damn it! I understand why. She's amazingly nice-looking."
Greg bottled up a growl, conveying his attention somewhere else. She was unquestionably gorgeous, but she wasn't his type to begin with.
He blamed his wolf and the foolish mark. His body was thrilled at the sight of her juicy lips and blurred eyes. It activated memories of their night together.
Precipitously, fury flowed through him. He wanted to cuddle her, peck her passionately, and drive Lloyd away. However, something wedged his consideration-she wasn't awakened. If she truly enjoyed being in her mate's arms, the scent of her arousal would have befuddled him.
"Please, everyone, do kindly sit tight as I introduce Melissa, my Luna," Lloyd declared.
Greg sneered, took her hand, and planted a momentary kiss on it, grazing her skin. She gasped, her cheeks blushing for a moment. Her sudden arousal overwhelmed him.
"So, you're the Luna everyone's been talking about, She snatched her hand away, her eyes boiling with anger. Greg's smirk grew wider.
"Yes, indeed. My Luna is the most capable," Lloyd boasted as he introduced her to other imperative guests.
"Tonight, your task is to uncover the entire dirty skeleton in the cupboard of that bastard and present it to me," he told Mark once Lloyd was out of earshot. "I know that son of a bitch has skeletons in his closet. Show them to me."
Mark sighed, "Yes, Alpha. Hold on, what's your plan? I thought you'd be asking for a secure place to meet Luna so you can take care of your business before we return home tomorrow?"
Greg gave him a skeptical look.
"Geez, I'm not that abysmal, Mark. I can't chase her now, not after what we've discovered. It wouldn't be right."
"If so, why am I getting involved in this disarray and hollowing out some shit for you?" Mark asked.
"Why are we even here in the first place, Mark? Can we trust Lloyd?" Greg asked and Mark shook his head. A sigh ran away from his lips.
"Greg, I know you very well. You're always calculating," Greg sneered, his bright blue eyes glossy naughtily.
"What on earth do you have planned?"
Greg shrugged, "She's coming home with me."
Mark, who had managed to grasp a drink and was drinking it, choked. Stuttering, his eyes turned red as he tried to clear his airways.
"Let me tell you my dear friend," Greg giggled, tapping his back.
"What the hell! Greg! Are you really alright, or have you lost your thoughts?"
Greg's eyes are gloomy, and he knots at him.
"Fine, okay, okay, fine! You're in charge. You're the Alpha. I'll gather the information and prepare my men for war because that's where this shit will be heading to I must say."
Greg disregarded him and turned his thoughtfulness back to Lloyd. They were now with his pack members, all of whom were staring at Melissa as if she were some kind of angel. His heart sank at the sight of them. If only he weren't so selfish, he thought to himself.
"Greg," Mark said gently.
"Yeah?"
"You're doing this because you want to get her out of your mind, right?"
Greg shrugged, "Why else would I do it?"
"In good health, in fact, leaving her here is the best way to move on. If you're far away from her, you'll get over her in a matter of weeks, and the connection you think you have will fade away indefinitely."
"Weeks?" Greg roared, "I need to get her out of my mind and dreams as soon as possible!"
"B-but-"
"Besides, when has staying away from someone ever worked for me? Just do as I asked. I'll handle the rest."
Mark slumped his shoulders. "You'll be the death of me, Alpha."
"Nah, I'm pretty sure I'm your savior."
Mark disappeared from his sight and went to do what he had been tasked with.
Greg's eyes sought out Melissa once again. She was now engaged in what seemed like a forced, polite conversation with a female member of the Blossom pack.
Annoyed, he looked away, searching for any cracks in this perfect facade. Greg knew that it was all a pretense. An Alpha like Lloyd concealed so much. He remembered how Lloyd had skillfully avoided his probing questions.
Greg smirked; he was determined not to let Lloyd leave tonight without answering his question.
"Spike his drink," he instructed through their pack bond.
A Shadow Moon member, who was closest to Greg, nodded and made their way toward Lloyd. Now, all Greg had to do was wait for the alcohol to weaken Lloyd's wit and defenses before making his move.
"Hey handsome," a heavily perfumed redhead purred, sitting next to Greg. Blossom Omega. Their Alpha's scent on her! Greg's senses jolted.
"So, you're the infamous wild beast they talk about, right?" she said, moving closer.
Greg pointed his eyes as he realized something. Every member of Blossom Pack bore the diverse scent of their pack and their positions, except Melissa.
When they had first met that night, Greg would have kept his distance if she had the scent of Blossom or Blossom's Luna, but she didn't. She had her own enticing scent; her mate's scent wasn't even present on her.
Fascinating! He thought to himself.
"So, I hear you're uncultivated and no woman has been able to pacify you," she asked, and Greg sneered.
Ordinarily, he would keep such courage and let the girl believe she had won, following her lead until they were alone. Then he would prove her wrong, satisfying her needs, and leave her gripping him and his ability. But now, his sole focus was on the hazel-eyed girl who had beset his daydreams.
The one who wasn't ready to give up on him continued pestering him, her fingers rambling over his skin. His stare remained fixed on her as he let out a low growl. She only sneered and persevered.
He took a quick glimpse at her. Her cleavage threatened to tumble out of the corset top she was putting on, and her tiny skirt scarcely enclosed everything. But her heavily made-up face was too much. He could sense her urging, clouding her judgment. That was not his concern.
What annoyed him was the boldness of an Omega occupying a seat next to him and freely caressing him!
Conventionally, Omegas steered flawlessly of those more influential than themselves. He took hold of her hand, which had crossed a line, and vehemently distanced it.
She frowned at him, crossing and uncrossing her legs. Greg takes a breather. He got worried about why she carried the Alpha's scent more strongly than the supposed Luna. ."I can see you are playing hard to get, big boy?" she teased.
Greg's patience with her had reached its limit. In one swift movement, he grabbed her arm and led her to a Shadow corner. She sniggered and followed him. He surged her against the wall, his eyes shiny with harm. She reached for his belt, still babbling happily.
His right hand persuasively snatched them away, while his left tightened around her neck, holding her in a merciless chokehold. She struggled to breathe, her face corresponding to the burning gloom of her hair. Crying brimmed up in her eyes, turning them red and watery.
"Look here, you listen very carefully," he instructed, his voice filled with rancor. "Do not venture into laying a dirty finger on me or anyone in my pack again, or even approach us. Is that understood?" He shouted, and the red-haired woman softly nodded, her visualization dying into black dots.
With a growl, he threw her aside and walked away, leaving her wrinkly on the ground. How the hell is he even managing his pack like this? Why should an Omega not know her place? He mused, questioning the circumstances.
As he resumed his position, both Lloyd and Melissa had vanished. His heart went under the surface, and his inner wolf tugged at him, urging him to search for them, mostly Melissa.
"Damn, this place is totally fucked up," Mark uttered nervously, rejoining him. Greg sneered, as he had suspected.
"Lloyd's a bastard. He's involved in all sorts of shady deals you can't even envisage. That's the reason why he threw this party. And the guests here are representatives from other packs he has signed treaties with, who happen to be enemies of Shadow Moon, among other appalling things he has done-
I must say he can never be trusted. This party is just a disguise to show his associates that you've got his back, while he plans to betray you. He's trying to prove his power. That's why he's being overly friendly. Our team hacked into their remote network and found loads of incriminating signals against him. I've already sent you the files-
"But that's not all. His Luna is not his fated mate. It's a lie. There's a murky story behind his relationship with her, but no one is willing to share the details. It seems like everything about Blossom is fictional."
"Jackpot," Greg smirked, a sense of surprise coursing through him.
Now he knew exactly what he needed to discuss with Alpha Lloyd
.
"I'll review the other details later tonight. For now, I must find an amiable host. There's a burning question I need to ask and I want to identify the representatives from other packs who are present tonight. Gather their information for me. None of them will leave this place alive, tonight or tomorrow." With that, he rose to his feet, snuffling the air until he caught a trace of Melissa's scent, guiding him on his path
