Valerie's POV
Everything happened so fast.
He killed four innocent women to prevent them from knowing his place. They brought us to his private land intentionally without telling us the consequences of coming here, so they caught those four girls unaware, and they died in his merciless hands.
I face my reflection in the mirror, not appreciating the simple wedding dress they gave me after signing the contract. I will be his surrogate and fake wife for 365 days, and if I fail to do what he desires, I will be executed. His merciless green eyes can fool any innocent woman, and I don't blame those four women.
They were blinded by the promise money but ended up dying. The door opened, causing me to turn to the person who opened it, and I was surprised to see the man with glasses. I didn't know his name yet because he was nonchalant and seemed uninterested in talking to ladies.
“It's time.”
“I—” I wouldn't be able to finish my word when he turns around while I'm still talking.
I sighed before standing up, heading out of my room, and marching down the stairs. The mansion had two floors, but it was massive. I followed the man, who led me to the living room where Mason and the judge were waiting.
“Congratulations!” Dominic whispered, and I almost jumped in shock. He walked towards Mason and stood next to him.
I stepped on my feet, walking closer to him before halting an inch away from his location. Mason offered his arm for me, so I looked at him and was hesitant to accept it. But I eventually accepted it, and we stood in the open space in the living room as our wedding hall.
My white wedding dress was under the knees with a small ribbon at the waist, and it was sleeveless. I tie my hair up and use lipstick to cover my pale lips. We face the judge, preparing for our rush wedding under contract.
“Can I ask a question before we start?” I inquired.
He glanced at me, “What is it?”
“Do we really have to get married for real?” I asked.
Dominic chuckled, “You wouldn't ask that question after meeting his stepmother.”
“Dominic,” he warned him with his serious tone, but Dominic wasn't scared and kept grinning at me. “Enough with questions. That's my first rule: I don't like curious people.”
I furrowed. But this is my first time asking a question. Is he stupid?
I shake that thought off and face the judge who will wed us. We have Dominic and this unknown man as witnesses of our civil wedding.
“We have come here today to formalize the union of Mason Gray and Valerie Moore, who wish to be legally joined and committed in matrimony. Let your love sustain you and help you grow as individuals,” the judge began before opening his book. The informant looked at him, “Do you, Mason Gray, take Valerie Moore to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and health, in good times and not so good times, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?”
“I do,” he simply replied.
He faced me, “Do you, Valerie Moore, take Mason Gray to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and health, in good times and not so good times, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?”
I take a deep breath and answer, “I do…”
“Mason Gray, you may now share your vows.”
Mason faced me with no emotions in his eyes, staring at my eyes intently, “Today, I promise you that no matter how much the world changes and how much we evolve with it, I will always love you, always treasure you, and share everything I have with you.”
“Valerie,” he called my name. The judge beckoned me and said, “Please, recite your vows.”
“Marriage bridges two shores, binding us together as one unbroken path, on which I vow never to deviate, never to falter, and to always be by your side…” I murmured.
“A ring is an unbroken circle, with ends that have been joined together, representing your union. It is a symbol of infinity and of your infinite love.,” he stated before turning his eyes on Mason. “Mason, place your ring on Valerie’s finger and repeat after me.”
Mason took the ring from Dominic and placed it on my finger before repeating the judge's words, “I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, my faith in our strength together, and my pledge to learn and grow with you.”
I did the same. I put the ring on his finger and said, “I give you this ring to show how much I love you. I'm thrilled to call you my partner and spend the rest of our lives together…”
“I pronounce you married! You may now kiss your bride.”
I lifted my head, and our eyes met. He touched my cheek and rubbed my lips with his thumb before moving his face closer, and our lips collided. It was a fast kiss, and after that, Dominic applauded in joy.
“Congratulations! Husband and wife!” He congratulated us. Dominic put his arm on my shoulder and said, “Are you ready for the honeymoon?”
I widened, “What? Now?”
“Of course,” the man stated.
I turned to him, “Uh, you are?”
“That's Sean Wilson, and I am Dominic Ross. We are Mason's best friends, his right and left-hand man. Tonight will be your first night with Mason, and we're expecting you to give your best talent.”
I removed his arm on my shoulder and replied, “What's with the rush?”
“Do you want me to explain the contract, or should I leave you wondering because you didn't read it?” Mason spoke, and his manly voice filled the room. I swirl my head to him, seeing that he's already sitting on the couch without me noticing it.
“You signed the contract, we married, and then we had our honeymoon. After that, we will upgrade your wardrobe.”
I looked at myself and questioned, “What's wrong with me?”
Dominic chuckled, “Why don't you head upstairs? Go to the room on the right, and you'll find everything you need inside.”
“I'll join you after five minutes, and you better be ready, Mrs. Valerie Gray. This is going to be a long night,” Mason murmured.
Valerie's POV
I'm waiting inside this luxurious room that I never thought existed in his house. Everything is black, from the furniture to interior design and carpet. I'm sitting on this luxurious leather single-seater couch, wandering inside this bedroom because it seems private. Dominic sent me here after ensuring I'm dressed, and I can't stop getting nervous.
I'm wearing a red silk nightgown and robe with no underwear underneath. I intentionally don't wear underwear because I have to show him how desperate I am to be his surrogate and to get the money. After a few minutes of waiting, the door clicked and opened. Mason was exposed to me; he headed inside before shutting the door and stood before me.
“Stand up,” he commanded, and I quickly obeyed as if my life was in his palm. Well, it was. Mason has my life. “Turn around.” I turned around as he told me and was startled when he moved my hair to my right shoulder before putting the necklace on my neck.
I touch the necklace before gazing at the mirror at the side. It was a gold necklace with a small pink diamond pendant; it was gorgeous and expensive.
“That's my wedding gift for you, Valerie.” Mason removed my silk robe, causing me to gasp in surprise because I was unprepared for this.
I gulped when he stopped, and I knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to see how desperate I was for the money, and I had to prove to him that I needed his money. I undress myself, exposing my naked body. After that, I turned to face him and ignored the fact I was naked.
He smirked while looking at me from head to toe before touching my chin and lifting it, causing our eyes to meet. Instantly, he reached for my lips, but I was initially hesitant. I'm moving my head away from him, but he grabs my nape and stops me from what I am doing. Mason grabbed my waist, locking me inside his arms while kissing me.
The fire within me lit up, and it was his kiss’s fault; his lips traveled down to my neck, and I became under his spell. Mason carried me, and I didn't complain about it. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he approached the bed and laid me down; he parted from me before unbuttoning his polo. Mason revealed to me his gorgeous body, making me gulp in surprise.
I rushed my fingertips on his body, and he flashed a smirk on his lips. He unbuckles his pants and unbuttoned them, but keeps his pants on. I grinned and did the job for him, so I unzipped his pants and pulled them down. I widened after seeing his long and awake manhood flashing before me.
He took his belt and tied my hands before pushing me to the bed and pulling my hands above my head. He positioned himself between my legs, pointing his manhood to my wetness before pushing it inside. I grunted because of the pain, making him stop.
“You're a virgin.” That's a statement and not a question.
I glared at him, “Of course I am.”
He leaned closer and whispered, “I'll be gentle, my wife.” After reassuring me, he freed my hands from being tied.
Mason positioned himself between my legs again, pushing his manhood inside but gently. Until he successfully entered me, and I gasped because I was trying to hold my breath. I gripped the pillow before looking at him, beckoning him to continue. He starts thrusting gently, filling me up completely, and the pain begins to disappear.
I bit my lower lips and said, “Hmm~ go on~ it's fine…”
“Are you sure?” He asked.
I nodded, “Yes…”
“If you say so.” He s*ck my n*pple, and his warm tongue wrapped it crazily while thrusting within me. His massive manhood takes the pain away and replaces it with pleasure that I can't handle.
“Ohhhh~” I moaned when his movement bolted. “F*ck! You're so tight…”
“Ohhhh~ ahhhh~ yes…” I mumble.
He thrust more complex and more profound, causing me to arch my back in a sensation. I'm losing my mind because of his incredible movement that left me breathless; he thrusts faster and hits the right spot at the same time. Mason moved his body away from me and held my thigh before throbbing quicker and harder. His rough movement wasn't painful yet wild, and I don't know if I can keep my sanity.
“Oh! Yes! Yes! Yes! Faster! Please!” I begged, gripping the bed sheet because of the sensation he was giving me.
His manhood is driving me crazy!
“Damn!” He held my feet together and thrust faster. I moan louder, filling this room, and I don't care if someone might hear us. “Sh*t! Ugh!~”
“Hmm~ oh, yes!” I shouted and couldn't keep my head in one position.
He put my legs above his shoulder and moved faster; his manhood was digging inside me deeper. I can't hold myself back, completely losing my sanity because of his perfect manhood that makes me insane! Oh, damnit! Why didn't they warn me about this?!
“Sh*t! Harder! I want you more!” I yelled.
“As you wish, my wife—f*ck!” He grasped my waist as he moved faster. Our bodies collided, and our skin made a sound filling our ears.
My body was covered with sweat even though this room was fully air-conditioned, wrapped with my moans and begging. His tense length pushed inside me like it was ripping me off, and I hate to admit it, but I love it! Yes! I love it!
“I'm near, Valerie.”
I gulped, “Yes! Fill me with your juices, Mason!—ohhhhh!”
“Almost there!” He gripped my waist tighter, and he thrust roughly. “Oh, yeah! This is unbelievable!—ugh~” I commented.
“Damn!” He buried his manhood inside me and filled me up with his warm juices. We both gasped for air, catching our breaths as he stared at my eyes intently. His hair was already wet because of sweat, and after a few seconds, he pulled his manhood out of me and laid down beside me.
This scene is hard to process, and I can't believe I gave myself to this monster.
“Get yourself ready,” he said.
I furrowed, “What do you mean?”
He glanced at me and replied, “You will meet my family tomorrow and be ready to be criticized by them, especially my stepmother.”
Oh, no.
Valerie's POV
I can do this.
After pulling my courage, I took a deep breath and exited the limousine that fetched me from the apartment I was staying in. I have to keep my profile low and make them believe I'm a hard-working sister of a sick girl who desperately wants to earn money for her treatment. Also, I'm a tenant who hasn't paid her rent for three months, and Mason pays it all. Gladly, the landlord of the apartment I'm staying in is my acquaintance, and he's easy to deal with.
I stood in front of this massive mansion filled with extravagant people wearing expensive gowns, screaming about how much money they could spend in casinos. Meanwhile, my attention was drawn to Mason's arm when he offered it to me. I accepted it, and we headed inside, where the banquet was happening. I was not aware he was planning to introduce me to his family on the night of his stepmother's birthday. Isn't it exciting? I can get to know the Gray family and what kind of monsters they are.
I'm wearing a tube dark blue gown that perfectly wraps my curves with crystals. My hair was tied, and the dress was paired with a blue diamond ring, earrings, necklace, and bracelet. I also have this blue purse that added to my gown's theme. I don't know why he gave me a dark blue-themed gown, but it's ridiculous. After we reached the mansion, I was surprised at how filled the place was with people. I immediately looked for a specific one and expected to meet Mason's father tonight.
I eyed Mason's father and stepmother from afar, but we halted. He removed my arm from his and faced me, “You're going to meet my family, and I'm expecting you to be on your best behavior, Valerie.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“I want you to act like you're one of us. Like you came from a rich family, so that my stepmother will stop interfering with my affairs.”
I nodded, “Got it.”
He offered me his arm again, and we marched towards his family. We already caught their attention, and Mason's father smiled at me as if he welcomed me to their family.
“Who is this beautiful woman, Mason?” His father asked.
“She's Valerie, Dad.”
“Valerie. What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl like you.”
A woman snickers, causing me to turn at her, and I bet she's Mason's stepmother. She raised her eyebrow before looking at me from head to toe, “Where club did you get this woman, Mason?”
“I beg your pardon?” I asked.
She chuckled, “So the golddigger can talk, huh? I didn't know you were built to talk like that, woman.”
I smiled broadly, holding myself back because this woman was so annoying. I'm not built to be patient, especially since my father knew I was a troublemaker since high school, but I'm doing my best to be a good daughter. Not until he died, and his death led me to this beast's place.
“I'm sorry, Mrs. Gray. I think you mistook me. We didn't meet at the club, so I think you're referring to someone else.” I extend my arm and smile sweetly, “Hi, I'm Valerie Moore. Fashion designer in Paris.”
“Wow. You are a fashion designer in Paris?” Mr. Gray questioned in amazement.
I turned at him and nodded, “Yes, sir.”
“She's not bad after all, darling. Mason never introduced a sophisticated woman to us, so I'm glad he introduced a prominent woman like her. Don't you think so?” Mr. Gray glanced at his wife, but she just smiled forcefully at me. I can feel her disagreement with me as Mason's wife, and I must ignore her.
She's not the one I need to focus on. I have to keep my attention on Mason and his father. I have to find evidence that will press them as suspects for killing my father.
“How can you prove that you're a fashion designer?” Mrs. Gray questioned.
How can I prove it? I don't know. It just slipped on my lips. I am a fashion designer in Paris because I want to chase a different path and refuse to be a mafia boss. I can get through this. I have a best friend who pretends to own my company. Right.
“The company I'm working for will hold a party, and it will be my company's honor to have you as VIP guests. I can call my boss to confirm it if you want,” I replied.
“No need, Valerie. Anyway, have fun. We're celebrating my stepping down as the head of this family and for Mason's achievement. He will handle our businesses, so this party is for him also.”
I bowed, “Thank you for having me, sir.”
“Don't call me sir. Call me Dad, especially since I can tell you and my son will be in a relationship longer than I expect.”
I chuckled, “Sure, Dad.”
“Actually, father. I have something to tell you.” Mason clears his throat before locking our hands and flashes our rings to them, “We are married. She is my wife.”
Mr. Gray widened and laughed afterward, “Really?! That's good news! Welcome to our family, Valerie.”
“Thank you, Father—” I paused when Mrs. Gray slapped me, causing the guests to gasp as we got their attention. “Celeste! What have you done?!”
“You marry a sl*t?!” She shouted.
I recovered from that unexpected slap and clung to Mason's arm, “Why did you slap me, Mom?”
“Don't call me that! I'm not your mother! How could you marry this woman without telling me, Mason?! How? Are you humiliating me to my Amigas?!” She yelled, catching everyone's attention.
“Relax, Celeste. There's no need to shout,” Mason tried to calm her down.
“Really? Then how could you explain it to her?” she crossed her arms.
“Who?” We asked.
“Me.” We turned behind, and as soon as I exposed myself to the person who spoke from behind, she slapped me. I already got two slaps in one night. Great.
“How could you flirt with my man?”
I furrowed, “Who are you?”
“I am Irene Watson, Mason Gray's fiance. His future wife,” she murmured.
