Chapter 1

While on a business trip, I stumbled into my brother-in-law, Julian Zeller, mid-act with a male colleague in a hotel parking lot.

Furious, I blew the lid off his fake marriage and helped my sister, Yvonne Sutton, escape that scumbag. But after the divorce, she lost his financial support.

She spiraled, blaming me for destroying her perfect marriage. She even killed me for trying to stop her from going back to him.

Then, everything resets. I wake up, and there he is—slipping into the car while hugging the same man. I pocket my phone. This time, I won't ruin Yvonne's happy ending.

"Xena, look! Isn't that guy touching another guy?"

My coworker's voice snapped me out of my stupor.

Sure enough, in front of us was a man running his hand all over another man's rear. They had their arms slung around each other and were heading for a car.

The scene hit me like a cold wave. I had been reborn.

The man fondling the other man was none other than my brother-in-law, Julian.

My coworker, just like in my past life, was all wide-eyed with curiosity and immediately pulled out her phone to take a photo. After she got shots of the two of them kissing, she urged me to follow them.

In my past life, I didn't stop my curious coworker. That led me to expose Julian's affair with his boyfriend, Tristan Terzo, to Yvonne, and I paid for it with a brutal death.

I pressed down on my coworker's hand. "You shouldn't film strangers. If they catch you, you'll be sued for violating their privacy."

She put away her phone and replied, "Alright. But I'm still curious. Why not follow them to see what's going on?"

I held her back, "Gotta hurry back and finish the report. We need it for tomorrow's meeting."

In this life, I'd stay away from Julian's secret to survive.

Two days later, while I was back at home with Yvonne and Julian, I feigned innocence. I put some food on Julian's plate and smiled. "Yvonne said you've been traveling for work lately. Make sure you get some rest."

Julian gave me a stiff laugh.

"You two are trying for a baby, aren't you? Your health matters. You'll need to up your stamina," I continued. "But it's been quite a while, hasn't it? Why hasn't there been any news about a pregnancy yet, Yvonne?"

Julian muttered something about being too busy with work.

After dinner, Yvonne pulled me aside and whispered, "Honestly… we haven't done it in a while. He always says he's exhausted."

Of course, he was exhausted. All his energy was spent on the man he was fooling around with.

"He doesn't love you. He only married you to keep up appearances with his family. Leave him before kids are dragged into this mess." I remembered how I had broken the news to Yvonne in my past life.

But I knew now that doing so would just be a waste of time.

I pulled out a blue pill that I had bought in advance, along with the lingerie that I had secretly picked out for Yvonne. "Here. This should cover your bases. You'll definitely get results."

Chapter 2

Yvonne's face flushed. "When did you become so open-minded?"

I laughed. She was a married woman. It was about time she stopped pretending to be an innocent schoolgirl. If they wanted a baby, they would have to put in the effort.

"Julian's always saying he wants a son. If I give him one, he'll love me even more for sure." Her eyes sparkled.

I nodded right away. "He already loves you plenty. Son or no son, that won't change."

Satisfied, Yvonne clutched her new secret weapons and hurried off.

Before I caught Julian cheating, he had really played the part of the perfect husband. He was reliable, gentle, and generous. His only flaw was how often he went on business trips.

But as it turned out, those trips were never about work. They were his excuse to sneak away with his lover.

In my previous life, I lost it when I discovered his backseat escapade and started throwing a fit. A crowd had even gathered around the car and recorded the scene.

"My brother-in-law is a fraud!" I shouted. That night, the incident went viral.

The whole family was shattered. Yvonne even fainted from the shock. I was the only one who stayed strong and continued to speak up for her.

Ultimately, I exposed Julian's true colors as a scammer and helped Yvonne escape her misery. I handed over every dollar I earned from livestreams and donations, not keeping a cent.

I thought she'd be grateful. Instead, she looked at me with nothing but hatred after the divorce.

Even my parents turned on me. "You've humiliated the family! What were you thinking, airing dirty laundry like that? Now that she's ruined, who's going to marry her after this?"

I could handle not being appreciated. But what I couldn't have imagined was Yvonne, after battling depression for half a year, declaring, "I've made up my mind. I love Julian. It doesn't matter if he doesn't love me back! I'm going to remarry him. He'll forgive me if I beg him!

"I'll give him a son. That's all he's ever wanted. Once I do, we'll be together again."

I tried to stop her by locking her in her room and cutting off every chance she had to reach him.

But Yvonne came at me with a knife, hacking through the door and slashing my face. "If you hadn't interfered and ruined my marriage, Julian would never have left me!"

Chapter 3

Back then, Yvonne's foolishness had left me disfigured and bleeding out on the floor.

Now, though, I had decided to let her and her cheating husband stay together. I'd let her see Julian's true colors for herself.

Whatever happened afterward wouldn't be my problem.

That night, I stayed over at our parents' house. I couldn't help but smile when I heard the noise coming from her room.

The next morning, I teased Julian, "Busy, huh? It didn't sound like you were lacking energy last night. You two kept me up half the night."

Yvonne instantly turned red. Julian hid his face, embarrassed.

Before I left, Yvonne grabbed my arm. "Thanks, Xena. Your suggestion really worked. Julian was like a possessed man last night. But he said that the pill shouldn't be taken often. He doesn't seem too willing to try it again."

I encouraged her, saying, "You're not asking for anything unreasonable. You're his wife; it's normal. Besides, you're doing this for a baby. If he won't take it, just slip it into his food or drink."

Yvonne was convinced.

As for me, the moment I returned to the office, I started working on a transfer application to one of the overseas branches.

I made sure to come home for dinner every night to keep an eye on Yvonne and Julian. Yvonne couldn't stop bragging about her perfect marriage. "Julian's so drained, he doesn't even have the energy for business trips anymore. It's great. At this rate, I'll be pregnant in no time."

I told her to post more on social media to show off her sweet married life. She couldn't resist and did as told. Every day, she would post either about how much she loved Julian or how much Julian adored her. She even hinted at what happened in the bedroom in some of her captions.

Time passed, and Yvonne asked me to go to the hospital with her. Sure enough, she was pregnant. Everything was going according to my plan.

"Good news calls for a proper celebration. As your sister, I'll make sure it's done in style," I said with a fake smile.

Over dinner, I deliberately brought it up with Julian. "You should invite all your coworkers. We have to share the news with everyone."

"I don't think we need to invite them. It's a private matter…" he hesitated.

I pressed him, asking, "Why do you sound like you don't want them to find out that Yvonne's pregnant?"

I remembered how, in my past life, Tristan had thrown their love in Yvonne's face. He said Julian only ever loved him and that she was the real homewrecker. He had even mocked her, shouting, "Julian doesn't want kids with you because he loves me. He can't even stand touching you!"

Yvonne had fainted on the spot.

That was when I realized that Tristan wasn't a pushover. Now, I wanted Julian's affair to go up in flames.

Julian forced a smile. "You're overthinking it. I just don't want to waste your money."

Yvonne kissed his cheek and said, "Oh, honey. You're always so considerate."

"Julian's so thoughtful. He'll be a wonderful father," my parents chimed in.

I waved it off, making it clear that money wasn't a problem. I was just happy to do it for my sister.

"Yvonne has wanted this for so long. Now that all the tests have come back normal, I want to share this happiness with the whole world."

Since I was footing the bill, no one objected. Not even Julian.

Later, I spoke to Yvonne in private. "While I do trust Julian, I have to look out for you as a sister. It's only natural that other women might try to throw themselves at a man as outstanding as he is. Plus, you'll be tied down for months with the pregnancy."

Men cheating on their wives while they were pregnant happened all the time.

Yvonne's expression grew tense. "You're right. What should I do?"

"Why don't you visit his office yourself? Invite every last one of his coworkers. That way, everyone knows he has a pregnant wife waiting at home. A little social pressure should keep him in check."

I even offered to tag along so that I wouldn't miss the show.

Yvonne was over the moon, praising me for being a genius.

On the big day, we stepped into Julian's office. Tristan was practically glued to him, whispering in his ear. If it weren't for all the people around, Julian's hand would've already been all over him.

I leaned over and whispered to Yvonne, "Sneak up on him and cover his eyes. Give him a surprise."

My love-struck sister lit up at the idea.
