Ailina’s POV:

As I was thinking what to do, suddenly someone knocked on the door and the man turned and went to open the door.

Seeing him leave, I have a sigh of relief. In my whole life, I had never seen a person with such an oppressive aura before.

As the man opened the door, I saw an old man in a suit standing at the door up tight.

Because his voice is so low, I am not able to hear their whole conversation. However, from what I heard, it seemed that some guests were waiting for the man downstairs.

The man nodded his head and closed the door. Then, he looked at me and said, “I still have some things to attend. Someone will deliver your clothes soon.”

Saying that he turned around to leave, however, he stopped in his tracks, looked back, and added, “If you think about my offer, come and find Manager Andy here.”

Then, he turned around and left the room in big strides.

After thinking for a while, I looked around the room to search for some clothes to wear. All my clothes from last night were torn by that man… So currently I have nothing to wear…

As I was thinking what to do, suddenly someone knocked on the door again.

Then, I saw the old man I had just seen, accompanied by two women standing at the door of the room.

One of the women is holding a pair of black shoes in her hands and the other one is holding a dark blue knee-length dress.

“Miss Wilson, this is the dress and shoes for you!” the old man said. From the beginning to the end, he didn’t look up, not even once.

After he finished speaking, the two women walked over and placed the dress and shoes on the bed. Then, the three of them left the room, closing the door behind them.

Everything happened so quickly, that I didn’t even have time to ask anything. ‘It seems that the service of this hotel is really good!’

Thinking that, I took the dress and walked into the bathroom. As I looked at my younger and beautiful self in the mirror, a cold smile appeared on my face.

‘Hallie and Darren, just get ready for your retribution. I will return everything you did to me in tenfold to you!’

After that, I quickly took a shower, changed my clothes, and left the room.

However, as soon as I walked out, I saw the man hugging a woman in the hotel lobby. From their actions, it seemed that they were quite intimate.

At that moment, the man’s previous words came into my mind…

‘Do you know how much loss I have to bear because of you?’ And then she remembered what that old man said about the guest waiting outside…

When I walked out of the hotel, the whole sky was covered with clouds, looking gloomy.

Even though it is the afternoon, because of the clouds, it looks as if it is an evening. The headlights of the cars are turning off and on.

The whole atmosphere looked gloomy and lonely.

As the cold wind hit my body, I shivered.

Then, tightening the shawl around my body. I wanted to stop the cab, but realizing that I had no money to pay, I dropped that idea.

Even the dress and shoes I am wearing are arranged by that old man.

However, he had arranged a pair of high-heeled shoes for me and since my home is quite far away from the hotel, from the time I walked there, my feet were filled with blisters.

As I rang the doorbell of the house, a mocking smile appeared on my face…

‘This is the house my mother left for me! But I am like an outsider here… waiting for others to opened the door for me!’

After waiting for a long time, Jessica, the housemaid opened the door. Then he said coldly, “Miss Wilson!”

Seeing her like this, I couldn’t help but sneer.

She is Ellie, the maid Susan hired after my mother died. The one who takes care of Mother is Nancy. But as soon as Susan moved into this house, she replaced Nancy with Ellie, saying she was old and couldn’t do things properly.

I looked at her coldly and said, “So, you still remember that I am your young lady!”

After saying that, I turned around and walked inside the house.

At first, she was still a little good to me. But as time passed by, her attitude towards me became more and more haughty.

Thinking that I was the lady with no mother and power, she didn’t bother to serve me and started fawning over Susan and Hallie.

As soon as I walked in, my eyes fell on the family of three sitting in the living room.

Then, I heard Hallie’s voice, “Mom! That’s great! Grandpa finally agree to let you marry into the Wilson family. After that I will also became Dad’s legitimate daughter, right dad?”

“Yes, yes!” My father smiled and said dotingly.

Ailina’s POV:

As I looked at Hallie’s smiling face, the memory of my past life came into my mind like as if someone was playing a movie in my head…

I came out of the elevator and pushed my wheelchair towards the CEO’s office.

Today is Darren’s birthday. I decided to give him a surprise and went to his company with his favorite pineapple cake in my hand.

However, as soon as I arrived at the door of the bedroom, the faint voices of man and woman panting came inside the room…

From the crack of the door, I saw my stepsister Hallie and my fiancé Darren snuggling up on the office desk…

“Darren, you are so naughty. Aren’t you afraid that Ailina will find out about us?” Hallie said while panting…

“What’s there to be afraid of? She can’t even walk… how can she come here?” Darren said while thrusting in…

“What’s more, didn’t you come here to seduce me… why are you saying all this?”

“I am not… I am just here to give you a surprise… After all, today is your birthday…”

“What are you guys doing?”

“Ailina, what are you doing here?” Darren asked as he pulled up his pants.

“Ailina… it’s not what you think…” Darren said, trying to hold my hand.

However, I pushed his hand away and slapped hard him on the face…

“Do you think I am a fool?” I snapped coldly…

“Sister… Sister… I am sorry, it’s all my fault. Don’t blame Darren for this. I know should not do this but I can’t control myself from falling in love with him… I am sorry sister…” Hallie walked up to me and said tearfully…

Seeing her like this I felt so disgusted that I wanted to slap her face hard… Unfortunately, I can’t stand up…

“Hallie, with your such a good acting skill, it’s not difficult for you to get an occur!” I said coldly.

“Ailina… who do you think you are? Do you think I really love you? Have you seen yourself in the mirror… Every time I looked at your haggard face and amputated leg… I felt disgusted…” Darren said.

Hearing his words, I felt like someone had stabbed a knife in my heart… it was so painful…

‘I lost my leg in order to save him… and now he is telling me that he felt disgusted…’

I nodded.

“I never wanted to hurt him! I know as long as you are there, you will certainly go over to protect him… and you didn’t disappoint me sister.” Hallie said while laughing. She looked like a devil…

“However, to bad, you are quite lucky! The doctor said that your legs can be cured. However, it was my mother, who gave some money to the doctor and make your leg amputated.”

Hallie said as she laughed…

“Why? Why did you do this to me?” I asked. Even though she is my half-sister, I have never done anything to harm her….

“Ailina don’t be stubborn. Even though you are about to die, but if you give your mother’s things, I can give you a antidote and keep you alive…” Hallie said condescendingly.

I looked at her coldly and said, “Hallie, let me tell you, this will never be going to happen…”

As I said, I pressed the button of my wheelchair, and it ran towards the floor-to-ceiling window at high speed…

Just like that, I jump off the building…

Ailina’s POV:

Even though Hallie is also my father’s biological daughter, at that time I didn’t know that and thought that Hallie was Susan’s daughter.

Before that even though Susan and Hallie had been living in this family for so many years, Grandpa had never allowed her to marry my father.
