Chapter 1

My sister-in-law Miranda Pineda, despite being pregnant, insisted on riding the Frisbee Ride, regardless of my advice to refrain from any danger.

Later, her child George Murray was born and diagnosed with autism.

Miranda took George to the 18th floor of a building, shouting, "It's all your fault! If you had let me play Frisbee Ride, I wouldn't have been depressed, and the child wouldn't have autism. It's your fault!"

My mother Katie Dorsey slapped me hard and forced me to kneel and apologize to Miranda. After coming home, my elder brother Camron Murray poured scalding water on me. I was severely burned all over, and they threw me and George into the forest to be fed to bears, leaving no trace of us.

When I woke up, I had returned to the day when Miranda wanted to play Frisbee Ride.

——

"Nowadays, it's all about scientific pregnancy. A happy mother means a healthy child. You old hag don't know anything!

"Ouch, my stomach hurts so much! Are you trying to piss me off?"

In the living room, Miranda was lounging with her legs crossed while doing her nails, her head wrapped in dye.

Just because Katie said that such behavior could be harmful to the child, she was wailing and complaining.

At that moment, I realized I had been reborn.

Katie, frightened, said, "It's my fault. I didn't know it. Sorry, Miranda. Please don't be angry."

Katie began slapping herself, almost on her knees.

Only then did Miranda look satisfied. She pointed to a set of short skirts and sportswear on the sofa and asked, "Tell me, should I wear this or the other outfit to the amusement park?"

In my previous life, when Miranda was five months pregnant, she insisted on going to the amusement park to ride roller coasters and Frisbee Ride. I advised her to refrain for the sake of her health. Even ordinary people could feel unwell after such thrilling rides, let alone a pregnant woman.

Later, when George was born, he was diagnosed with autism at the age of three due to abnormal behavior.

Despite spending all the family's money on treatment, it didn't help. Miranda and Camron quarreled frequently, and Camron even beat her several times.

She had a mental breakdown and, with George, went to the 18th floor of a building. I was the first to run up to persuade her, but she screamed, "It's all your fault! If you had let me play Frisbee Ride, I wouldn't have been depressed, and the child wouldn't have autism. It's all your fault!"

Katie slapped me hard, forced me to kneel and apologize to Miranda. To save lives, I had to give in.

I thought it was over, but when we got home and were having a meal, Camron suddenly poured the scalding water on me. I suffered severe burns over a large area. I begged Katie to take me to the hospital, but she sneered, "If you hadn't stopped Miranda from playing Frisbee Ride, our family wouldn't be in such a mess! This is what you deserve!"

They even knocked out George and sent us to the forest to feed bears.

Camron said, "Are you sure there are bears here?"

Katie replied, "Don't worry! It's true. Bears can even eat bones. Even if the police come, they won't find any evidence!"

Miranda laughed, "Finally, we can get rid of these two burdens. Tonight, we'll start trying for a second child. You're so clever, darling!"

That night, George and I were torn to pieces by black bears.

As our souls drifted above, I saw Katie crying to the media.

"That wretched woman kidnapped my grandson! No! I can't live without him!"

Later, she even livestreamed on social media, making a fortune from it! Meanwhile, I was condemned by millions of netizens after my death!

My arm was pinched. It was Katie giving me a signal.

I quickly thought of a plan. "Mom, if you dislike Miranda, just say it directly. Gossiping behind her back will only make things worse."

Chapter 2

Katie was horrified and went pale.

Miranda slammed her hand on the table. "You old hag, what are you saying?!"

I added, "She said you're an ugly toad, dressed up like a peacock and always playing around. You should look in the mirror and check what you look like before acting so vain."

"You!"

Miranda rolled her eyes and pretended to faint. Katie had to apologize again and again, complimenting her on both outfits. Finally, Katie gave her 500 dollars. Only then did Miranda feel better.

With the lessons from my past life, I wouldn't even give them any chance to team up against me. I had to stir up trouble to make them fight against each other.

"Fine, you've got some sense. You don't need to cook for me tonight. I'm going out with friends to the bar." Miranda washed her hair, applied heavy makeup, and left in a short skirt, slamming the door behind her.

Katie, collapsing onto the floor, cried, "It's such a calamity! I must have been cursed to have such a troublemaker marry into our family."

Katie called Camron, who was away on a business trip. Upon hearing her voice, he hung up immediately. Katie then turned to me. "I'm worried. You have to follow Miranda. If anything happens to my future grandson, I can't bear it."

I groaned and clutched my stomach, running to the bathroom and locking the door, refusing to come out.

Katie panicked, saying that I wouldn't be able to catch up with Miranda.

"Then you can go with her, Mom. That's your future grandchild!"

Katie hesitated at first, but when she saw I wouldn't come out, she gritted her teeth and went after Miranda.

Did she think I was that foolish?

If something went wrong, it would be my fault.

I lay on the sofa, enjoying the air conditioning and checking Miranda's social media updates.

She was a peculiar one, always announcing her activities to the world, especially when going out.

Miranda posted: [Other pregnant women are so fussy. It's just an e-cigarette, easily handled.]

[Roller coasters are nothing. My son is moving around happily. Looks like he's excited.]

[Next stop, Frisbee Ride. George, hold on to the umbilical cord. Mom's going to make you swing!]

Later, I waited for a long time but saw no updates.

Just as I was contemplating, Katie called, wailing, "Aleena Murray! It's terrible! Miranda had an accident!"

Chapter 3

It came so fast!

I didn't respond directly. "Mom, what did you say? The signal is bad. I can't hear you. Hello?"

I then hung up and called Camron, giving a vague explanation that Mom said something had happened to Miranda, playing the innocent party.

Ten minutes later, Camron called, his voice filled with grief. "Miranda and the child had an accident. They're at the central hospital. I'm on my way back."

I feigned shock. "Oh no! How did this happen?!"

I arrived at the hospital slowly, only to see doctors coming out of the operating room.

"The condition of the mother is critical. The child might not survive. Please sign the consent form."

"What... What?!" Katie's eyes were widening. Then she collapsed and started wailing, "How did things turn out like this? My grandson. I can't go on living!"

She tried to slam her head against the wall, but I interrupted her.

"Mom, didn't I tell you to follow Miranda? Why didn't you stop her from riding Frisbee Ride?"

Camron shot a murderous look, and Katie turned pale, too scared to turn around.

Camron roared, "Is that true?!"

"I... I did follow her, but the amusement park was too crowded, I... I lost track of her," Katie clung to Camron's leg. "Camron, I didn't mean it. You know I have a poor sense of direction. If I had known it..."

She was kicked aside by Camron, her heavy body rolling on the floor.

Camron declared, "If anything happens to the child, I won't let you off the hook."
