Chapter 3

Monica looked flustered when she heard my words.

Alpha Chandler opened his eyes even wider in surprise. He didn't want to pretend to be polite to me any longer and held Monica tightly in his arms.

My father's complexion became even worse.

When Monica looked at me, there was a hint of provocation. But when she looked at her father, there was a pleading and firm expression.

She was just about to speak.

The father interrupted coldly: “I know what you are planning.”

“We reached a friendly contract with Lancelot pack only for better cooperation. Cersei has been nurtured as the next Alpha since childhood. Don't even think about taking anything from Cersei.”

Father's words hit Monica's heart like a bomb.

She has always loved to snatch things from me since childhood, whether it was the love of parents or the infatuation of men.

But there are some things that I have strived for myself, and she can never take away.

Monica gave me an incredulous look.

And I was satisfied to appreciate the tears and resentment on Monica's face.

Alpha Chandler nervously wiped Monica's tears and couldn't forget to give me a disgusted look.

I didn't really care that the two of them openly showed their affection in front of me. Slowly, I patted my father's hand to calm him down.

"I think you two should leave!"

The father asked the butler to drive the two people out.

Monica sensed her embarrassment and quickly stood up. Alpha Chandler also suppressed his anger. Unwillingly, the two were sent to the door by the butler.

Father turned his head to look at me, changing his previous seriousness and said gently: “It's all my fault. If Alpha Harvey hadn't left you, I wouldn't have let you get allied.”

Hearing my father mention this person, I was stunned, then slowly curled a smile and looked at the little old man, Alpha Daryl, who was desperately working for this pack.

He devoted everything to the pack.

Father saw my smile and shook his head helplessly.

I looked at Alpha Chandler who was turning and leaving and just met his line of sight.

I know he heard it and saw his pale face.

It's time to dig up something.

Chapter 4

I comforted my father and planned to go back to the pack headquarters to handle the work matters.

When I was about to drive, an unexpected person stopped me.

It turns out to be Alpha Chandler.

He pushed me hard against the wall of the underground garage.

My mind felt dizzy suddenly.

He was furious. Little by little, he approached me and finally held me tight.

I was just about to shout out loud when he fiercely blocked all my sounds with his lips.

His slippery tongue kept prying my lips, and I just felt a wave of nausea welling up in my stomach.

"Candy!"

The next moment, I turned into a Wolf with silver-gray fur and kicked away the unprepared Alpha Chandler with vigor.

I resumed my human touch and wiped my lips.

“What’s wrong with you!”

Alpha Chandler looked at me with resentful eyes.

“Just as you can see, I detest all your touches. Oh! This is simply no different from eating bedbugs!”

He frantically grabbed my clothes with one hand and threw a pile of photos at my face with the other.

The sharp edges of the photo wiped blood all over my face.

I originally wanted to scold Alpha Chandler.

But through the bloodstains, I saw the face in the photo that I dreamed of every night.

I haven't seen him for too long. Even his face has gradually blurred in my memory.

With tears in my eyes, I squatted down and began to pick up the photos one by one.

Wipe every photo clean as if it were a precious treasure and put it in my arms.

“Oh! This is the photo I found. You are not allowed to touch it!”

Perhaps Alpha Chandler's original intention of throwing the photo in my face was to insult me.

When he saw me so disregarding my self-esteem and my identity as the next Alpha, kneeling on the ground of the underground garage to pick up these photos, he was a little out of control.

"Cersei!" Did you hear me? I tell you not to pick it up!

He pulled my arm angrily in an attempt to stop me.

I shook him off forcefully.

Perhaps it's because the stubbornness in my eyes is too obvious, or perhaps it's because my act of cherishing every photo is too crazy, Alpha Chandler gradually let go of my hand and stared at me in surprise.

He clenched his fists and gradually became angry.

I took out tissue and wiped the photos clean bit by bit, then carefully sorted them out and put them in my bag.

Alpha Chandler grabbed my hand.

I stared at him coldly and said: "Alpha Chandler, just as you can see, you'll never be as good as your uncle."
