The moment Dave disappeared, so did Vivian too. Kayla's scream couldn't be heard, Vivian had used her powers to block it and also to shut the door. Kayla got a bit scared but at the same time she knew if anything was going to happen, she could protect herself at the very least. "If I do not see her in the next two hours, It means something terrible had probably happened to her" She whispered to herself. She felt restless, roaming around the room.

Dave woke up to find himself in a chair, he tried to move but he was chained on his legs, hands and body. He coughed and tried to speak but was hushed.

"Exhale first, you are really going to need it" Voice echoed.

Dave breath in and out multiple times and finally he said something "I can explain, please" He pleaded.

"Your sister pleaded with you to spare her life too, didn't she?" Voice asked.

Dave began to cry, he tried to talk but was overwhelmed with tears rolling down his cheek. A metal clang dropped to the floor, he heard the metal being dragged slowly with the sound of heels moving as quiet as possible. 'It is definitely a female' he thought. The drag continued and seemed to be closer to him, it was thrown right next to him and he shouted.

"Don't worry, ain't gonna hurt you just yet" Voice said, continued..."but I will hurt you soon if you do not confess of your sins, Dave".

He swallowed and then finally he opened up and confessed.

"Alright...I had always wanted to be the heir to my father's company and his wealth all round but he seemed not to see the efforts I was putting in, yet he acknowledged my sister for every little thing and..." he got interrupted "And why was that, what did you do to your father that made him detest his own son, depriving him of his right?" He was questioned.

He answered "I got into trouble while I was in high school, I did drugs and almost got expelled, as a billionaire's son it all got covered and expulsion was impossible. I think that was the moment I fucked it all up so I kept trying my best to prove to him I was a changed person" he exhaled sharply.

"Were you really changed! I think your dad knew you were really not worth it. If I was your dad, i'd choose your sister over again, she was humble and respectful I guess but you had to end her life brutally" The voice expressed.

"It wasn't brutal okay. Yeah, I got jealous but I really didn't mean to kill her. I just wanted to end my own life so she could have it all since I was invaluable to him. I litted my drink with an overdose, I dropped it off on my desk...then went quickly to the bathroom to have a quiet moment first. I heard a knock on my room's door but i ignored, she opened but didn't pay much attention to it. She walked in and she saw the drink" He took a pause and gulped.

He sniffled and continued "I didn't know she would come in at that moment nor drink the wine I dropped on my desk. I came out of the bathroom and saw that she had even exhausted the drink. I took the cup from her and scolded her for taking what was mine. She thought I was not serious about it and she ran playfully to her room..."

He paused again, felt sobber and continued... "Few minutes later, l went to her room and met her struggling, she couldn't breath properly and was bleeding from her nose, didn't know what to do so I tried calling an ambulance but a thought ran through my mind that it was an opportunity for me to inherit it all. So, she held on to me begging to save her life but I didn't, I watched her die....I know I was so selfish and I regretted it but I loved my sister" He explained. He couldn't control his emotions or hold on to that tears any longer, he cried bitterly.

After his confession, he felt something crawling on his skin like the root of a tree, his breath was shaky as fear overwhelmed him, the voice echoed louder and scarier than before "Here is my judgement" laughed hysterically.

There was a sudden spark of light in the room and Dave began to burn from the inside as the roots crawled slowly into his body, he screamed in so much pain, no matter how loud he screamed, his voice was never heard by anyone...He grunted in pain, asked for help but no one could save him. This was the first evil committed and the first judgement made by the true heir.

Kayla stood there, waiting patiently for Vivian's to appear, it had been over an hour already. As she was about to have her seat, a heavy breeze blew, she thought it was Vivian but she got disappointed, it wasn't her, it was no one!

Dave wasn't dead yet, he was at the verge of dying and gradually losing his breath but before the last air was drawn out of him, the voice whispered into his ears "I am whom you'll never know nor live to see, I'm not a murderer, but I do whatever pleases me with whomever i want, you should have never awakened me".

There was more fire from his inside and it gushed out of his mouth till he lost his breath and died, her laughter filled the dark room, with wickedness and horror in her eyes, glowing bright red even in the dark.

"This is just the beginning" she said.

Tommy and the others went to back down to search for him, maybe they heard wrong. Tommy went to get security and they came to the hostel but didn't find him, but he was assured that maybe he had gone out or he was never there. When they tried to explain what had happened, none of the security believed them. "If he was truly in the room as claimed, he couldn't just disappear like that" Security murmured. Though they made sure to put a call through to his parents, and they were aware of the situation: "Don't worry, he will be fine, he acts stupid sometimes" Dave's dad response to the call.

Back to Kayla, the room's door opened by itself, she got scared at first and she stepped out and walked slowly. She went to the hospital to talk to the doctor or nurse if they had seen Vivian but when she got there, what she met was different and heartbreaking. "Something seems off, I can feel it" She whispered to herself as she walked in.

When she got to the reception, she asked "Please, have you seen my friend, Vivian...uhm..she is a bit tall, looks older than I am, long brown hair and..." She got interrupted "I haven't seen anyone with such description" The receptionist answered briefly.

She walked out of the hospital through the back just to look around when she saw Vivian on the floor, unconscious. She gasped and rushed towards her, lifted her up partially and said her name while shaking her off multiple times but she didn't answer. She carried her with all her strength and took her into the hospital, she was taken from her and laid her on her bed in an empty ward.

The Nurse that helped her back in, attended to her and gave her drips that could help her out of her unconsciousness.

A day after the incident, she woke up with a slight headache "What happened?" She asked. "I should be asking you that girl or you don't remember?" Kayla asked.

"I don't know shit Kayla" Vivian responded, her body was still weak but she was okay. Kayla went to get the nurse and necessary tests were taken until proven okay.

Vivian got discharged in the morning of the second day. They both left for their hostel. Kayla needed some answers, she questioned Vivian "Do you remember what happened when we got here yesterday?".

"Nope, what happened?" She asked, clueless about what had happened.

"Nothing...never mind, let's just have some rest and afterwards we can go home to see your mom, just to go check up on her" She responded.

Kayla again lost in her own thoughts 'Could she have hurt Dave?, Naaahhh, that doesn't make any sense, she's no wicked human, just got the wrong powers, she can't even hurt a roach'.

Vivian fell asleep and Kayla left the room quietly and went out as she heard noises from outside the hostel gate. She got closer and saw a large crowd. The press, students and the school managements were there, people taking pictures and out of curiosity she asked one of the students standing next to her "What is going on here?"

The student answered"Dave Hurst's body was found outside the boy's hostel gate this morning... it's really not looking good at all"

"Suicide?" Kayla asked, was curious.

"Heard he was acting all weird yesterday after lectures, his friend Tommy told the director" Student responded.

Kayla asked "Where was his body found exactly?"

"Outside the gate, thought I already told you that...gosh" she responded out of frustration. She student walked away with a hiss of pity.

Kayla was surprised, left the scene and rushed back to the room out of anger to question Vivian but on getting inside, she couldn't find her. She went to the hospital to look for her but she wasn't there, she went to the doctor's office to ask if he had seen her friend but as she opened the door, she saw something else, with a slight fall to the ground still holding on to the door, she screamed out loud "Haahhh".

Some of the Nurses rushed down to her as they heard the scream and saw the doctor dead on his chair, one of them opened the door a little wider and she got shocked when she saw a dead Nurse too, with blood still flowing out from their ears and nose. The nurse broke down in tears. "There are two of them" The nurse alerted.

Both the Doctor and the Nurse (the doctor who froze when Kayla had called for help with the nurse that helped her in when she was found) who took care of Vivian. Kayla sat on the floor in despair, sobbed while the Nurses rushed the Doctor and the Nurse declared to be dead to the mortuary. They put a call through to each of them families, autopsy was conducted and it was found out that they were poisoned but who could have done such!

At this point, Kayla became sure of one thing that Vivian killed Dave, the Doctor and the Nurse but the question is 'why?'. She asked herself 'By chance, is she killing her witnesses, those that were there when the incident with Dave happened?'. She wasn't scared initially but at this point she became scared if she was the next person to be killed as she doesn't know nor trust what Vivian's powers could do anymore.

She couldn't go back to the hostel, she became restless and needed someone to talk to someone, so she brought out her phone from her pocket and put a call through to her mom, her mom picked up the call "Hey mom, I'm coming home and I really need to talk to you". She hung up the call and went straight to the bus terminal to get a ride home.

On getting home, she met her now biggest nightmare Vivian with her mom in the house, her heart trembled in fear, she got nervous and said "Oh hi Vivian, I didn't know you were here". She gave a fake smile and walked off to the kitchen to check on her mom. Vivian could sense the fear in her and followed her to call her outside before she could get to tell her mom anything; not because she was guilty but she could read through her that she was afraid.

"You look scared...wait...do you think I killed the three of them! You should know me better that I wouldn't, the Doctor and Nurse did nothing wrong to me neither did Dave" She said and exhaled sharply. She continued... "Kayla, I really don't understand what's going on and I came here to check on your mom if anything was wrong since she's the one closer to our school. I just came here to protect her and to cool my head off".

She was unhappy that Kayla couldn't trust her and came all the way home to see if she had hurt her mom, she assured her "No matter what, believe me I would never hurt your mom nor you, I promise".

Kayla replied with her voice a bit crackled "You didn't think something could happen to me too? I mean those that took care of you are all gone, Dave is gone too: not even sure what he did wrong but he is fucking dead. I could be next not my mom".

Vivian responded "But you can protect yourself and I believe nothing or no one can hurt you as long as i am here".

They both held each other's hands and went back in, went for the kitchen to meet Kayla's mom (Stephanie) who was washing the dishes.

Few minutes after, a voice whispered to Vivian "Kill her" but she feigned ignorance; the voices were on repetition in her head "Kill her" but she resisted and told Kayla she had to leave.

"Why are you leaving so soon, why don't you wait for dinner?" Stephanie asked.

"No mom, see you next time, I gotta go" She answered and left without looking back.

"Are you girls cool?" Stephanie asked Kayla, she thought maybe they had a few misunderstanding.

"Yes mom, she's not just feeling herself recently" she replied.

Kayla wondered why she had to leave suddenly but she couldn't hold her back either. Few minutes later, she got a call from Vivian, she answered "Hello Vivian, have you left for school or went home?" She asked.

"Can you come and meet me at that abandoned temple close to the Old forest way?" She hung up the call without giving Kayla the chance to respond.

Kayla hesitated at first but she remembered the promise they both made to each other 'No matter what might happen, if any of them calls the other for anything or needed help, they must respond'

Well, such promise is difficult to keep but not with the two friends.

Kayla took her jacket and bid her mom good bye, she headed straight to the temple at the Old forest way, which was thirty minutes away from her home.

She entered into the temple and saw Vivian holding a knife.

Her heart skipped a bit "What the fuck is she holding a knife for?" She said quietly.

She got scared at first but moved closer to her,then she realized it was just a small sharp table knife. She asked "What is the knife for, Vivian?".

Vivian giggled "Do not fret, I'm not going to hurt you, don't you worry".

"So, what are we here for?" Kayla asked.

"Do you remember what we promised each other the first time we came here together?" She asked.

"Yes, I remember" Kayla answered though still a bit nervous.

"Can we say those things again but this time in form of an oath with our bloods?" Vivian asked.

She answered without hesitation and scoffed "Yes, why not! Well, it's just an oath, right?"

"Yes it is, are you ready?" She asked.

Vivian used the knife in her hand to sl*t her palm open slightly and Kayla's palm as well, they both joined hands together, and in unison they said "We promise to remain as friends, to love and protect one another, to stand by each other, never to hurt each other, not even death will tear us apart, and even if death does, we'll continue to live and be together as friends forever".

They both exchanged blood and laid it on the altar of the temple and there the oath was sealed, not knowing what they've gotten themselves into. At this point, Kayla was reassured that Vivian could never hurt her nor her mom but well who knows what tomorrow holds!

"I think we need to go back to school, we have lectures by four o'clock today...I don't think we should miss it" Vivian suggested.

Kayla nodded in agreement, brought out her phone from her trouser's pocket and put a call through to her mom, letting her know they had gone back to school.

"Hey mom, we are headed back to school. Don't cook dinner" Kayla exhaled sharply as she hung up the call, not giving her mom the chance to say anything.

The two happy friends left the temple and went straight to the nearby bus terminal. A bus arrived and they boarded it back to school.

When they got back to school, they met everywhere quiet like a graveyard. "Where did everyone go?" Vivian asked Kayla.

"I believe we both just got here" She responded with a bit sacarsm.

"Yeah" Vivian murmured quietly.

They both went to their hostel but on their way, they met a student and asked why everywhere seemed empty.

"Oh sorry but any idea what is going on?" Kayla asked.

"Yeah, every student was instructed to come for a meeting at Jackal Hall at exactly four pm and everyone is there" The student answered.

She was about to leave when Vivian pulled her cloth back gently "But what for?" She asked.

"The director is going to have a meeting with us" She resonded. She dropped Vivian's hand off her cloth gently and bidded them goodbye but she paused and said "Don't be late, you know the director is a time conscious person" her voice was a bit loud. They both rushed out of the hostel and headed straight to Jackal Hall. When they got there, they saw everyone gathered: some were standing while some were sitting. The hall was so noisy but once the director was sighted, they began to run helter-skelter to find a seat. Vivian and Kayla found themselves a seat as well.

Director cleared his throught as he stood behind the pulpit "Let us all rise and observe a minute silence for our lost doctor and nurse, and also that of our beloved student who had always been a great influence in this college" He turned his mic away and everyone stood to observe it, afterwards they all sat and he addressed his concerns on the death issues. He assured the students that such things would never happen again.

"Security had been doubled and this hall is the safest place to have any party right now but if otherwise, then the security level will be tripled" He assured.

Dave's parents walked in and the moment the director saw them, he knew there was trouble but it ain't their fault that their son is dead. He dismissed the students and told them to always be very careful and watchful. He went to meet Dave's parents and ushered them into his office.

"What exactly happened to our son?" Dave's mom was teary already, she sobbed a little and wiped her face with her handkerchief, she continued "He was all that was left for us after his sister died...how could this happen to us again?" She questioned the director like she expected an answer from him.

"I am so sorry for your loss Mr and Mrs Hurst but we are trying our very best to get to the root of this matter.

"You better get to it except you want this damn college to be shut down forever" Dave's dad ordered, stood up in anger and told his wife to follow him, which she did immediately and they left.

The director showed a sign of relieve, adjusted his tie and scoffed "Where exactly do i even start from! Dave is dead, only God know who would be next" He exclaimed. After a few days, the director who had been having sleepless nights due to nightmares and threat he received from those mares, warned both Dave's parents to let it all go.

Yet, they refused to let go as they thought they deserved an explanation on what happened to their son and were both ready to spend as much as they could on investigation but little did they know that what they're looking for can actually be their end if they refuse to stop. Not long after, word came in that both parents had died in a car crash. It was a thing of shock that one of the most powerful billionaire in the city was dead. "I did warn them but they didn't listen" Director whispered to himself when he heard the news.

On a certain night, two months after all the death issues had gone down, the students decided to hold another party after a long stay at school but not at Jackal Hall, so security was tripled; every corner was surrounded by security just to prevent further death issues. And of course, Kayla and Vivian both made it to the party.

When they got to the party, a guy came to meet Kayla and asked her for a dance and she looked at Vivian if she would be fine alone; Vivian nodded in agreement and Kayla left with the guy.

She watched as Kayla and the guy danced and she was genuinely happy that her friend had probably found someone. She later joined them on the dance floor but after some time, she got tired of it all and decided to take a walk outside alone. When she stepped out, not far from her she saw her sister Megan with a guy leaning on a car, kissing and smushing each other.

She approached and questioned her "What are you doing here, Sis?".

"I just came by to have some fun with my boyfriend, that's all" She answered.

"Did mom or dad send you here to watch me?" She asked.

Megan scoffed "duh...She doesn't even know you'd be here neither is she aware of my presence here" She responded. After taking a sip from here drink, she continued... "Anyways, meet Jordan my boyfriend, and Jordan meet my sister Vivian".

Jordan and Vivian exchanged greetings, she left both of them to enjoy themselves though she instructed her to go home as soon as she was done or call her to get her a place to sleep in her hostel. She went to the beach close to the party area to sit and have her own fun when her eyes suddenly turned red and black again, she felt strange and was like something crawling over her skin, her emotions became darkened, she left there immediately.

She ran to the balcony instead and tried looking at the view of things, but she heard a strange noise from the forest close by, she moved a bit closer and saw a big cat standing out of the forest and immediately it saw her it ran back in and Vivian didn't hesitate to follow: thought it was a rescue mission. When she got deeper into the forest, she called out the cat.

"Hey catty, where are you, come out now". She said stylishly as she kept looking for the cat not knowing how far she had gone into the forest.

Someone pushed her slightly forward from behind and tapped on her shoulder, she looked back and saw people without their faces holding a wood with fire each, she got scared and screamed but no one could hear her as the music was too loud and she was quite distanced from the party.

She started running; she wanted to go closer to the party to warn everybody about what is in the forest.

Almost out of the forest, she fell to the ground with her chest. Her feet got stucked in between branches of leaves, while she struggled to set herself free and to stand up, one of the faceless people held on to her feet and dragged her back into the forest, her scream got louder but still no one could hear her, but someone felt it.

"I think I heard Vivian's scream" Kayla said, she stopped dancing.

"It's just noise from the woods, it is nothing" Justin persuaded her. They both started kissing and went upstairs to have some fun while everyone kept partying hard downstairs.

Vivian survived whatever happened in the forest and walked out looking tattered and weak, she looked around but didn't see Megan anymore, thought she had gone home but she was in the car with her boyfriend having fun. She pushed herself to the party and walked in quietly and she made a loud shout with the little strength she had left so that people could get out of the place, but no one could hear her yet she kept on shouting "get out of here everyone, there's something in the woods" but still no one could hear her due to the loud music and those that were closer to her who heard called her crazy, laughed her to scorn.

Not up to five minutes, all the lights went off in the whole building, there was sounds of gunshot from the security but all they could see was shadows. "I told you all" Vivian says as she giggled in excitement and satisfaction. Everyone started running helter-skelter for their dear lives and right there Vivian's eyes turned red and black again but this time a lot of people lost their lives. After some minutes, the light came back on.

The questions were, was it really something from the forest or someone in the party?.

Those that survived whatever happened began to scream when they saw everywhere filled with blood and dead bodies. Justin (the guy Kayla danced with and had fun with) and Kayla rushed out of the room.

Kayla hits Justin slightly and said "I told you I heard screams" she put her clothes and panties back on as she went to find out what was happening downstairs. Justin followed her immediately.

"What the f*ck happened?" he whispered. People running and screaming for help but no one could come to their rescue, some called for an ambulance while Justin asked Kayla "Where is your friend?". Kayla almost forgot Vivian was there too as she was carried away by what she saw.

"Oh my God, Vivian, where could she be!" Kayla exclaimed. She started looking for her "Vivian, Vivian" she kept on shouting her name but there was no response.

Justin also helped in the search, later a thought brushed through Justin's mind "Let us check the bodies on the floor", at first she was reluctant but she opted in for the search. They both searched for Vivian amongst the dead just maybe she fell unconscious or probably dead.

They found her lying unconscious on the floor covered with blood over her body. "We need to take her to the hospital, right now" Kayla told Justin, in a tone of command.

Vivian was rushed to the hospital which was thrity minutes drive away and Justin went to the cops to report the incident after dropping them off. Meanwhile it had been reported and some officers were on their way already, when the officers got to the scene they were shocked "What the hell could have happened here! " One of the officers exclaimed in shock.

"Even the damn securities are all dead" Another officer responded.

Two ambulance were available for those that were injured and also those that are dead.

Vivian was taken to the emergency room and was attended to. For more than two hours Kayla didn't hear anything from the Doctors or Nurses "I hope she's alive" she whispered quietly. She saw other students being rushed down to the hospital by ambulances and she became more worried.

Few minutes later, the doctor came out of the room, she asked "how is she, doctor?"

"I am sorry but we lost her" the Doctor replied. The doctor was about to walk out when she held on to his hand and asked again "She's dead....dead as in she died?"

The doctor answered "Yes, I am so sorry for the loss, she was seriously injured and she wasn't brought in earlier, there was nothing more we could have done. My condolences to you" the doctor left.

Kayla stood there in shock and disbelief, her heart pounding fast like it was going to come out of her chest, her legs felt shaky almost falling but she tried to hold on to the wall as she sat slowly on the floor. She couldn't believe that Vivian could actually die, it is impossible. She is not the person to die so easily on mere injuries with the kind of power she holds, i thought she told me Vivian could never die except orchestrated by her.

When she finally accepted it to be true when she saw her, she was more heartbroken and held her hands

"Why did this happen to you, I wouldn't have gone with Justin... I would've protected you as we promised each other. I am sorry I got carried away" Kayla continued laments and in regrets. Justin who just got back from the police, saw her from afar sitting on the floor. He walked close to her and asked "What happened?".

She answered "Vivian is dead and it is all my fault, I shouldn't have left her alone. I could have told her to come with us but I f*ck*d *p, I really didn't know such thing was going to happen".

Justin couldn't believe that Vivian was actually dead either, even though they just met tonight, he was shocked. "Don't you think we should call her parents or guardian?" He asked.

"Yeah, that's true" She sniffled.

She picked up her phone and dialed Megan's number but it wasn't going through, she then tried her mother's line and she picks up.

"Hi, mom, I am sorry but you need to come down to the hospital right now" she said in a sad and grieving tone.

"What are you talking about?" Vivian's mom asked.

"I mean Vivian is dead mom" she cried more.

"But she was the one who called me to come pick up Megan cause she got injured, she's currently at the hospital with me" she explained.

"What?" Kayla in disbelief, stood up quickly and hung up the call.

Kayla went straight to the ward Vivian was to check if she had disappeared or something but as she opened the door, she saw Vivian's body still lying on the bed covered with clothes.

"But she is right here!" She whispered.

Kayla got overwhelmed by confusion, she shut the door and went back to the reception to have her seat. She made a decision to put a call through Vivian to confirm if what her mom told her about Vivian been with her was all true. Vivian answered the phone and said "Hey, Kayla are you okay?".

Kayla hung up the call immediately as she heard her voice, she almost fell on the floor due to the shock but Justin grabbed her by her hands and asked "What's wrong, Kayla?".

"Can you believe that Vivian picked up the call!" She said, with utmost disbelief in the possibility of her being alive.

"That's impossible. She is...right here...dead" Justin stuttered.

"I called her number and she is the one who picked up the call. I had to hang up the call because I was surprised that I just heard her voice and her body is right here... lifeless" Kayla said.

"Can you call her again maybe you heard wrong or maybe we could meet up with her?" Justin asked, he was curious.

Kayla picked up her phone and put a call through to her again, Vivian picked the call "Why did you hang up the call, was about asking where you were and how you survived, I was worried about you. I looked for you everywhere but couldn't find you and tried reaching you through calls but wasn't going through".

She ignored all she said but instead she asked "Where are you, Vivian?".

"I'm with my mom at the hospital. Megan couldn't make it, she is dead" She said, sobbing.

"But how?" Kayla asked.

"She was at the party as well. I met her outside the hall with her boyfriend when I left you and your guy alone, I was bored so I took a walk to the beach, felt a bit strange and immediately there for the balcony to get fresh air. Not long after, I heard sounds coming from the forest and a big cat was standing right there and I followed it, then I saw faceless people holden a stick with fire...I rushed out to warn everyone about what was in there but got dragged back inside the forest, my eyes was blurry. Don't know how but I survived, got out and went to warn everyone but nobody heard me and the ones close to me that heard what I said made fun of me. In a twinkle of an eye, everything went blank, I heard people scream and suddenly I found myself outside holding Megan in my arms. I didn't know what happened but everywhere was bloody and I needed to drive off in her boyfriend's car quickly to save her but unfortunately for me, she died after getting attended to in the hospital" Vivian explained with tears flowing down from her eyes down to her cheek.

"Oh my goodness. I didn't know, I was looking everywhere for you. Later, I found you on the floor injured, I rushed you down to the hospital and an hour later, you were confirmed dead and I'm still in shock right now as I am able to communicate with you despite seeing you dead here" Kayla said. She hung up the call without waiting for her response.

Still in disbelief, she got restless and she called Vivian's mom to know the hospital they were in and she told them. She picked up her belongings and told Justin to get the car ready to go, they both zoomed off in Justin's car. On getting there, they saw Vivian sitting on the chair with her head down crying, Kayla was surprised, squeezed her face in confusion, looked at Justin and said to him "But she was still right there at the hospital we left now, right?". That was aquestion that needed no answer.

Justin couldn't believe what he was seeing nor what was happening. Kayla got the shock of her life and was more curious on how it happened, so also was Justin.

Vivian raised her head up and saw Justin and Kayla right in front of her, she stood up, heaved a sigh of relief and walked close to give Kayla a tight hug and couldn't let go as she cried profusely. Kayla felt reluctant about giving her hugs but she had to comfort her; I mean who else will if she doesn't!

After the hug, Vivian sniffled and wiped off her tears with her hands, she said "Thanks for coming, i can't believe I lost Megan".

Kayla sniffled and almost sobbing she asked "But how come you are here?"

Vivian held Kayla's hand to a seat, she then explained again "My sister was at the party with her boyfriend, she introduced her boyfriend to me and we exchanged pleasantries, I left them and went to the balcony close to the forest, I was feeding my eyes until when I saw a big cat looking stranded, I followed the cat and saw crowds of people in the woods, I wanted to run out to warn you and others but I fell and got dragged back, and that was the last thing I remembered happening in there. Then I saw myself at the party and I tried warning people about was in the woods, I looked for you but you were not found and no one could hear me because the music was loud, then boom everything went dark and I found myself outside, I saw Megan on the floor bleeding, the lights came back on, thank God for her boyfriend's car I was able to rush her to the hospital, but unfortunately she couldn't even give life another cance when we got to the hospital".

"Oh okay but were you still at the party when all the bloody sh*t happened?" Kayla questioned.

"Yes but i left immediately when i saw my sister wrapped in my arms as the light went back on, I looked back inside and saw blood all over but all I cared about was my sister's survival. I really do not remember some things though" Vivian answered.

"After your sister died, you called your mom or you went to the cops?" Kayla asked.

Vivian explained further "I went to the cops afterward and it was on my way I called my mom to come down to the hospital, when I left the station, I came back straight here".

"But I am confused, I saw you injured at the party and on reaching the hospital, an hour later the doctor confirmed you were dead" Justin responded.

She scoffed and said "You guys are here looking at me right in front of you, talking to you guys and y'all still saying I'm dead, how is that even possible!". She stood up "I think you guys are high on something from the party" She finished.

"Your body is currently at the hospital lying there...dead" Kayla emphasized on the dead part and continued "Should we take you to the hospital to see for yourself since it seems we are the ones lying?" She asked.

"I'm very serious and I am very much in disbelief more than you are now" Justin said.

Vivian agreed to go to the hospital they claimed her body was and got into the car with them. On getting to the hospital, they rushed down to the room Vivian's body was laid and Kayla opened the door.

Kayla and Justin were shocked when they met the room empty.

"But you were...here. I mean you were dead on that bed" Kayla said as she pointed a finger to where she was laid, she just got the shock of her life; her jaw dropped and couldn't close it back up for some seconds, Vivian helped her to keep her mouth closed with her hands. She was speechless and so was Justin who couldn't believe what was going on right now.

"You two must be really hallucinating. I'm here and alive I ain't dead, you both need to wake the f*ck up from your illusions" She yelled at them as she took her leave in anger. On her way almost out of the hospital, she paused and turned back "Or wait, Kayla did you wish that I was dead?" She questioned her.

"Why would I ever wish you that, I know what the Doctor said and I know what I saw, I'm neither hallucinating nor in my own illusions" Kayla replied, breathing shakily.

"Maybe we should call the Doctor so that you can actually believe us" Justin suggested, to stop unnecessary arguments.

"Okay, go and call him" Vivian said confidently.

Kayla went straight to call the Doctor but he wasn't on seat, she asked about the Nurses that attended to her in the emergency ward with the doctor, but the receptionist gave her a shocking news "They're all dead and we just found out few minutes ago".
