Chapter 1

Introduction

He is 24

She is 18

Both are tied together by a bond called marriage. A forced marriage, a marriage of convenience

She is a carefree princess, but then she got married into an orthodox family.

She is talkative.

He is an arrogant introvert.

She is clumsy.

He wants everything perfect.

She is like a baby.

He is mature.

They are poles apart, but they are bound together, and now there is no looking back.

A girl is sitting in her room, wearing a red lehenga. Her face is covered by the veil; she is looking very pretty, but her face is pale.

Hello everyone, I am Samaira. I just turned 18, and you know what? Today is my marriage ceremony. Ugh, I don't want to get married. I am just 18 years old, dude, but my parents just blackmailed me into getting married to that monster. Ugh, you all don't know who is a monster, right? Accha so monster is my would-be husband, Veer Singhania. He has 10 hands and 10 legs, hahaha. But he is a true monster; how will I spend my whole life with him? He is an arrogant introvert dude, and his attitude, oh my God. He is so tall. I am so young now, and I have to get married. And why did that monster say yes to this marriage? After marriage, I will not be able to wear my favourite dresses. Why all of this happened to me Right now my final exams are left; after that I will start college, oh no. There is one more thing: he is handsome, like very handsome, but ugh, I am not blushing.

_______________________

Hi everyone I am Veer Singhania. I just joined my dad's business. I am 24 years old, and right now I am fixing my turban. Now ask why—because today is my wedding. I don't know why my grandmother just blackmailed me into getting married to that spoilt brat troublemaker. According to you, she is Samaira Mehta. She is just 18 years old, but she is a "chota packet bada dhamaka." She is so talkative. She will eat my head 24 hours a day. But I have to get married because I can't deny my grandmother. She is my everything. But why she chose Samaira for me is beyond me; she is a nuclear bomb. But she is cute and a little thing; ugh, Veer, don't think about her; you will end up being mad, but looking back, she will be my little bride.

Part 1

Sam's pov.

OMG, finally, I am married to that monster. Ugh. Why, right now I am sitting in his room—huh, not his room from now on; it's our room.

This dress is really irritating. I need to change. I quickly went to the washroom and freshened up. But where is that monster? Oops, sorry, my patidev. Where is he? I think I should go to sleep before he comes; if he comes, then World War III would start.

After sometime, she slept.

Veer's pov.

I went to my room and found that Chota was sleeping. I was glad that I came. There otherwise little would've world war 3 happened by now. I quickly changed myself.

Now where will I sleep? Bed, no, she is sleeping; couch, ugh, my couch is too short to sleep for me.

I quickly made a pillar with the cushion and laid down on the other side of the bed. Tomorrow is Sunday, so I don't have office; this means spending the whole day with her, oh no! I think I should sleep.

They both were peacefully just sleeping, then Samaira kicked Veer very hard in sleep, and in no time his butt kissed the floor.

"Aah, what the fuck?" He shouted, rubbing his bum. But Samaira cared less; she was sleeping like a kumbhkaran.

"Ah, this girl," Veer hissed and took his pillow and slept on the small couch.

Morning

Samaira is sleeping peacefully on the bed, while Veer is struggling on the couch. Makik Sleep got broke due to the knock on the door. He woke up and opened the door.and found his mother standing.

"Good morning, mom," he wished her.

"Good morning, Veer."

"Is Samaira sleeping?" asked Vedika, trying to peep inside the room, but Veer was standing there like a wall.

"Noo, mom, she is in the washroom," he lied. As he knows, if he said that she was still sleeping, his mother might create a scene like this. The new bride can't sleep till late.

"Ok, Veer, give this dress and jewellery to her and come downstairs asap for breakfast," said Vedika, and she went downstairs.

"Samaira wakeup"

"Samaira, wake up; it's morning," he shouted.

Wakeup Samaira

"Aahh monster, let me sleep," she groaned and dug her face more into the pillow.

"Samaira's mom is outside waking up," he said, and she woke up with the jerk.

"I wonder what Vedika aunty is doing outside," she said, rubbing her eyes.

"Hahahaha, I am kidding," he said, and she threw the pillow on his face... and went to the washroom.

Sam's pov.

Ugh, so heavy, why? I hate wearing Indian clothes, and now I have these heavy salwar suits and this jewellery.

Samaira and Veer both went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning everyone," wished Veer and Samaira in unison.

"Samaira, you have to wake up early in the morning because you are a new bride and today is your first day; now go to the kitchen and make some desert for us," said Veer's grandmother.

Sam's pov.

Desert? I don't even know how to cook anything; dessert was farfetched.

"Now go, Samaira, and cook something for us," my Sasumaa ordered me, but can't they see I am just an 18-year-old kid?

I saw my husband sitting and doing something on his laptop... Can't he see that I am in trouble? I hate you, arrogant Veer Singhania.

I went to the kitchen, and I really don't know how to cook.

Tears started forming in my eyes as this is the first time I am in the kitchen and I don't know anything. I was just standing there and thinking about what to do.

And then I felt someone's presence, so I turned to see my partner picking up a bottle from the fridge. He turned and his gaze met mine, and I quickly averted my gaze, as I didn't want him to make fun of me, but I was crying. But I don't know what to do...

And then I started crying more.

____________________________

Veer's pov

I went to the kitchen to take a bottle of chilled water and saw her standing and murmuring something, so I chuckled and took the bottle and turned, and then her eyes met mine.

OMG, is she crying? Yes, she is crying. She is crying, but why? She quickly turned away, as she didn't want me to see her crying face, but little did she know that I saw her crying. But why is she crying? Ooh, she doesn't know how to cook. And even though she is just 18 years old, Mom gives her the task of cooking. She is just a kid, but how should I help her? I think I should help her...

Just then, Samaira's phone beeped with the message.

Open the kitchen window.

She opened the window to find the delivery boy standing there with a packet in his hand. And her phone beeped again.

Take the parcel and serve it nicely.

She quickly takes the parcel.

and opened it to find Indian desert payasam. She served this nicely and went to the dining table where everyone was sitting and having breakfast.

"Samaira, the taste is awesome," said Veer's younger sister, Arvi. She is Samaira's best friend, and she is also 18 years old.

"Thanks," she said.

Everyone praised her.

Sam's pov.

I think I should thank the monster. because he helped me. Yes, I will thank him.

She quickly ate her breakfast and went upstairs with a juice in her hand, where she found Maki doing something on his laptop.

"Veer. Who was it she tried to say?

"Kya?" he said, still looking at his laptop.

"Veer woh! Thank you for helping," she said happily. He just hammed.

"He is so arrogant," she said to herself.

"Veer juice for you," she said,

"I don't want Samaira," he said in a cold tone.

"Please, Veer, I made it specifically for you." She started walking towards him, but her heels got stuck in the carpet, and the juice fell on Veer's laptop.

"What the hell?" he literally shouted.

"I am sorry, I am sorry," she panicked.

"My presentation, Samaira," he shouted, his eyes red from anger.

"I am sorry, I am sorry," she said, as she was scared of his anger.

He holds her arms tightly and pins her to the wall.

"Do you even know what you did, huh?" he shouted and gripped her arms tightly. She shut her eyes tightly.

"Now say why you are silent," he once again shouted, digging his nails into her arms.

"Aahh, Veer, it's hurting," she whispered, and a tear escaped from her eyes.

Veer loosened his grip and left the room, leaving a scared Samaira behind.

Chapter 2

Part 2

"Bolo bhi (now say): Huh, why are you silent? "Huh," he once again shouted, digging his nails into her arms.

"Aahh, veer, it's hurting," she whispered, and a tear escaped from her eyes.

Veer loosened his grip and left the room, leaving a scared Samaira behind.

Samaira's pov.

Aah, monkey, donkey, monster, aah, my arms, it's so painful. I know I spilled the juice on his laptop, but it was by mistake. But the way he shouted "Huh, monster!"... Mom, dad, I want to go home. I don't want to live here with this monster...

Her trance was broken with a knock on the door.

"Vedika Mam is calling you downstairs," said one butler.

"Ok, I am coming," she said.

_________________

Vedika was sitting in the dining room when Samaira came and asked, "Mom, you called?"

"Yes, Samaira, today you have to go to your father's house for some rituals, and yes, Veer will take you there." Listening to Veer's name, her eyes widened.

"Why, veer... "I mean, I can call my brother, and he will come and pick me up," said Samaira.

"Why, Samaira, he is your husband, and he will take you to your house, okay," said Vedika sternly.

"Ok," and she left the place.

____________________________

After sometime, Samaira got ready and went downstairs, where she found Veer waiting for her.

They both left for Mehta Mansion.

The drive was silent. It wasn't a peaceful silence. It was horrifying, as Samaira was very scared of Veer because of the morning incident.

He stopped the car on a vacant road. and saw Samaira fidgeting with her fingers and biting her lips in nervousness.

"Samaira woh." He tried to say something but was not able to as he stuttered.

"Samaira I.. I. .. Mean. I am. ""Sorry for the morning incident," he apologized.

Samaira's eyes widened as she listened to his apology, as she wasn't expecting this from him. not now, at least.

Samaira's pov.

OMG The Veer Singhania apologised in front of me. OMG. I couldn't believe this. But I was very angry with him. How dare he hurt me like this? I hate him. Huh..

"Samaira, are you even listening, and this broke my trance.."

"Hmmm, yes, it's ok," I said, shaking my head.

________________________

We reached Mehta Mansion. And my mom did our aarti and welcomed us.

"I missed you, Baccha (baby)," and my mom kissed my forehead.

"So why did you get me married?" I shouted.

"Samaira, behave yourself." Veer is here. My dad glared at me. But I cared less and went to my room.

_______________________

"Sorry, Veer, for Samaira's ill behavior," her mother apologised to Veer.

"Nahi aunty, it's ok." "You don't need to apologize," said Veer politely. Her mother smiled.

"Aunty, can I go to Samaira's room?" he asked her.

"Sure, beta," Urmi replied politely.

_________________________

He knocked on the door.

"I do not want to talk to anyone." "Just go from here," she shouted from inside.

"Samaira," he called her name softly.

But she didn't reply, so he went inside.

"Samaira," she said, hearing her name from his mouth. "what happened?"

"Nothing just goes," she said.

"Why are you crying?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm crying, and now you can make fun of me and do whatever you want; I don't care," she shouted, rubbing her eyes harshly.

Veer's pov.

Why was she crying? Maybe she was disturbed by this marriage thing.

"Samaira, now stop crying and wash your face," I said in an authoritative tone.

"Oo, hello monster, this is my room, now get out and stop bossing around me," "Oo, hello monster, this is my room now, get out and stop bossing around me," while I was looking at her with my mouth open.

Right now she was crying, and then suddenly her behaviour changed.

Was she bipolar?

Aah, this girl would surely make me crazy one day.

"Now get out," she shouted at me. This chota packet shouted on me one more time. No one, like no one, has dared to shout on me and this little one.

"Samaira, say sorry," I said calmly.

"Why should I?" She replied, glaring at me.

"Just say sorry to me, Samaira," I said calmly, but this girl surely knows how to test my patience.

"Huh, I won't," she replied.

"No one, like no one, has dared to raise his voice against Veer Singhania and you, little one," he shouted.

"I am Samaira Veer Singhania your wife; I can do whatever I want, and yes, I'm not scared of you, and I can shout at you whenever and wherever I want," she shouted back at me in an authoritative tone.

Did she just claim her rights against me?

But I didn't reply to her back...

After dinner, Samaira and Veer returned to the Singhania Mansion.

After changing into her night dress, Samaira laid down on the right side of the bed. And then she saw Veer settle himself on the small couch.

"Either you can sleep on the other side; I don't have any problem," she said politely.

Veer's pov.

No, no, no, I couldn't sleep on the bed; otherwise, she would kick me once again. The previous night, she kicked me very hard.

"No samaira "It's ok, I can manage," I replied to her.

"But the couch is too small for a monster like you to sleep," she said, eyeing me and then the couch.

"Stop calling me a monster, you chota packet, and now sleep is something I can manage," I replied. I wanted to sleep on the bed, but the previous night's incident was horrible for me.

Veer settled himself on the couch, but sleep was far away from him, and the same was true for Samaira too.

"Slept?" asked Samaira. He just hummed.

"Woh, I want to say something," Samaira said.

She heard his voice.

"Veer, my final exams are next week, soo--" she stopped, unable to form more words.

"It's ok, Samaira; you can give your exams." "I will talk to mom," he replied, making her smile.

"Veer, I want to study further; I want to make my career," she said.

"I will be with you forever. "You can study as much as you want," he assured her.

Samaira's pov.

This monster is not as bad as I thought.

"But one thing: you have to follow some rules of my family; I don't want you to disobey my family," he said to me, and I nodded.

"Now go to sleep; it's pretty late," he says.

"I am sorry; you can sleep on the bed." "I will not kick you; last night I kicked you intentionally," I said nervously. And he stood up and started walking towards me.

"Why Samaira?" he asked, coming dangerously close to my face. And his warm breath fanned my face, and I shut my eyes tightly because of his anger.

"Sorryyy," I just uttered this much.

"You kicked me yesterday, huh?" he asked me again.

"Woh, I was very angry at you, so that's why," I meekly replied.

"You are impossible," he muttered and lied down beside me, but not before making a pillar with the cushion.

Veer's pov..

I woke up feeling something heavy on my chest. I rubbed my eyes and saw that Samaira was sleeping, and her hand was around my waist, her head was just above my heart, and her legs were entangled with mine.. sunlight fell on her angelic face, and she hid her face in the crook of my neck and snuggled more into me.. aah, this girl.. this chota packet looks very cute while sleeping...

Just then the alarm rang.

______________________________

"Samaira, wake up," he said softly, patting her head.

"Aah, you monster, let me sleep," she groaned and snuggled more into him.

"Why is my pillow hard today?" she said and hugged him more tightly.

"Because this is not a pillow; this is me," he said irritably, and then she woke up with the jerk.

"Woh.. woh.. I'm sorry," she stammered.

"Go and get ready as soon as possible; today you have school," he said, to which she nodded and quickly went to the washroom.

____________________

Veer and Samaira went downstairs for breakfast.

"Samaira, why are you wearing your school uniform?" asked her mother-in-law.

"Mom she is going school with arvi today" before samaira could reply anything veer answered on her behalf..

"Why, what do I mean.. she just got married and then school," Usha (Veer's grandmother) said.

"Daadi, I gave her permission to go to school," said Veer. "And even her exams are going to start from the next week."

After that, no one said anything.

Samaira's pov..

Ah, tomorrow I have my accounting exam, and then this final accounting was really tough. I was trying to solve this sum but was not able to.

"What happened to the packet?" "Is there any problem?" My husband, the Cum Monster Husband, asked me.

"I am not able to solve this." I showed him the question.

"Wait, let me help you," he said and sat beside me.

"Arre Samaira! "This is very easy," he said, and started explaining the sums.

"Thanks, Veer! Yeh toh bohot easy tha" (it was very easy). I said happily, and he smiled a little.

__________________________

"Samaira, you should go to sleep." "It's pretty late," he said, glancing at the wall clock.

"Tum so jao" (you sleep); "I will sleep after some time," she replied.

"Samaira, it's now 12.am. Now go to sleep. "I will wake you up early in the morning, then you can practice," said Manik.

"Give me 5 minutes more," she said.

"Okay"

________________________________

"Samaira, wake up!"

"wakeup samaira "It's 5 a.m.," said Veer, softly patting her head.

"10 minutes more, please," replied Samaira in her sleepy voice.

"Samaira, now wake up!" this time Veer shouted as he was trying to wake her up after 30 minutes.

"Why are you screaming monster?" she asked grumpily, rubbing her ears as she woke up.

"It's 5:30 now; go and start studying," said Veer, and Samaira nodded.

Veer didn't sleep after waking her up; he was helping her from time to time.

__________________

Veer went to drop Arvi and Samaira off at school.

"Do well, Baccha (baby)," Veer said, kissing Arvi's forehead, and she nodded and entered the school.

While Samaira was standing and checking something in her notebook,

"Stop panicking, Samaira," said Veer, and she snatched her exercise book.

"Veer give it to me; I don't have much time," she said in a hurry.

"Samaira, listen," he said, holding her shoulder.

"Just breathe in, breathe out," he said, and she did, calming herself.

"Now go inside and do well in your exams." "All the best," said Veer, to which she nodded and started walking.

She turned and said, "Bye, monster."

He smiled and replied, "Bye, little."

___________________________

Veer went to pick up Arvi and Samaira from school.

Samaira waved a hand at him, and he waved back. She just ran to him and hugged him tightly, and he was taken aback by the sudden hug but soon reciprocated.

"How's the exam?" Veer asked in between the hugs.

"Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!" she said happily, and then she realised their position and broke the hug.

"Where is Arvi?" Veer asked, looking here and there, trying to spot Arvi.

"I am here," shouted Avi from the back.

"How's the exam?" asked Veer, hugging her.

"Awesome, bro," she replied, smiling.

________________________

Veer was the ideal husband; he used to wake her up early in the morning for exams and even helped her study, and today was Samaira's last exam.

Samaira's pov..

Today was my last exam, yayayay, and after that, my school life will end.

My father was really caring, but a little bit of a monster. He helped me very much.

"Samaira, have this." He gave me a glass of milk, and I made a face. Everyday he made me drink this milk. Ah, I hate this.

"Stop making those faces and drink this." Ah, this monster.

______________________________

The Singhanias were sitting and having dinner.

"Mom, I think we should go on vacation now that our exams are over," said Arvi.

"I think we should go to our farm house," said Madhav (Veer's father).

"Samaira, would you like to visit our farm house?" asked Madhav.

"Why not, dad?" "I would love to!" said Samaira excitedly.

"Ok, so we are leaving for the farmhouse tomorrow morning," said Madhav.

Everyone agreed and had their dinner.

_______________________________

Veer was sitting in his room doing something on his laptop when Samaira entered.

"Veer," she called him, and he just hummed.

"Veer," she called once again.

"Kya hua?" he asked, still looking at his laptop.

"Come with me," she said, and holding his hand, she started dragging her.

"What samaira "Why are you dragging me?" "I am doing something important," he said irritably.

"Statue," while Veer made a confused face.

"I said the statue doesn't move," she said sternly, and he nodded.

She quickly took the tool and stood on it, as he was very tall.

"What happened to you?" he asked, chuckling as he saw her standing on the tool to match his height.

"Ssshhhh, don't talk," she ordered and blindfolded him.

"What the hell, Samaira, pagal hogyiii ho (are you getting mad)?" Veer shouted.

"Now come with me," she held his hand and led him to the terrace, then opened his blindfold.

And then he saw that the whole terrace was decorated with balloons, with two chairs and a table placed in the middle.

"Samaira yeh sab (all this)," he mumbled.

"Now sit here," she told him.

"I made this for you," she said, and gave him a chocolate cake.

"What do you mean, why?" he asked.

"Because you helped me very much in the exam, so thank you for everything," she said happily.

"Now eat this," she said.

He took one bite and then just hummed, while Samaira was fidgeting her fingers in nervousness.

"Veer taste accha nahi hai kya." "Veer, isn't that good tasting?" she asked, being nervous.

"Nahi, it's nice," he said in his same cold and hard tone.

"Monster, acche se taarif bhi nahi karta (huh monster, he doesn't know how to praise someone)," she muttered, making faces.

"I heard that," he said.

"Huh, better for you," Samaira said, rolling her eyes at him.
