Yvonne's POV

Jeff insisted that I should move with him to the palace. I didn't disagree with him because I wanted to. Yea, I wanted to move with him, I wanted him to claim me. True, it's against the moon goddess but I wouldn't want to miss this opportunity. I've been in love with this guy for five good years.

He brought a ring worth millions for me. He gave me a house at the most luxurious part of the pack. A house worth millions. A house that I can't afford overnight. How could I disagree? Wouldn't I be considered an ingrate? He has been busy over the past three days. We only talked on the phone and video call one another. For the three days he has been so cool. I found myself falling for him more. He traveled to the Caribbean for a quick leave and some business vacation, while I've been here signing deals, having brands but being with Yvonne would expand my influencer lifestyle and give me more business opportunities.

"Yvonne, don't you think this will have dire consequences. Because it's against the moon goddess". Nelly scolded after feeding her about what was happening. Well, Jeff is coming back tonight and he's planning on mating with me. Tonight.

"You should decline".

"I can't. I have no choice".

"You have a choice, Yvonne. You do".

"Nelly, this is a man I have admired for so long. A man I want. I'm helpless, I don't know what to do or say". I sighed frustrated. "If he mates with me, the moon goddess might not decide to punish us. She may overlook it as he has already proposed to me".

"And how sure are you, of this and of him?" She asked calmly.

"There are so many people who have escaped this. I hope and know I will".

"Does your mom and dad know about this?"

"No. I didn't tell anyone. You are the only one who knows about this first of all".

"I'm just looking out for you. If you think it's right, I have no problem with it. Just be careful. You are old enough to make a decision for yourself".

I walked out to the balcony and admired how the color of the setting sun affected the city. It made it look more pretty. I held the rails tightly staring at space. I turned my head towards Nelly and smiled at her.

"It has always been my dream to live in a serene environment like the one I just visited. To be among the high class as I am with the Alpha Prince and I'm myself as the Beauty Queen. To prove everyone wrong that I can do it". I said and turned my face away from hers.

She sighed and walked closer to me, resting her hand on my shoulder. "You worked hard for it. You sacrificed so much to win this. You deserve this fame. It's a dream come true for you now".

"I sacrificed so much to this level, but I can say luck shone on me. I can't let go of this opportunity. Jeff will mate with me tonight".

After having a fine dinner and a warm bath, I laid on my big comfortable bed awaiting Jeff. He hasn't arrived from the Caribbean and I'm not able to reach him. I think he doesn't want any trouble. He told me he would be back tonight.

After trying his number for the tenth time, I wore my skimpy nightgown and laid on my bed.

I was dozing off when a scent hit me hard. I became alert and tried deciphering the scent. Where did it come from?

"Mate, Mate!" My wolf squealed happily. I gasped loudly and was taken aback. In the process of processing what just happened, the door opened a little. From my supine position on the bed, I could make out the silhouette of a person, a "he" Jeff! He had Jeff's structure.

When did he arrive? Why didn't I hear the sounds of car horns? As the figure came closer, placing each step after the other, more of its feature was Jeff. Jeff is my mate! So we are definitely not going against the moon goddess order. But why was I just knowing? Why did I have to smell his scent now, not then?

I was having mixed feelings of excitement, surprise and doubts. The room was dark but when his eyes held mine, it shined brightly that I wondered when Jeff had the eye color?

His light blue eyes held mine. I became paralyzed and couldn't get up from the bed.

I managed to gather my wits and asked "Jeff, I never heard you drive in?"

He didn't say anything. Wordlessly, he took off his shirt and joined me in bed. He breathed close to my neck and dropped on hickey. I moaned effortlessly. Bead of sweat lines on my forehead, I felt the presence of a mate. I'm about to be marked by my mate. But why is he looking quite strange and conservative?

We didn't have to speak. His eyes showed hunger, wants. He took off my nightgown and set astride my legs so he would be in the midst of my thighs. Bent from the waists so his nipples would brushed against my turgid nipples.

"I. Want. All. Of. You". He said. The feeling was electric and I wrapped him in an embrace. But his voice was more calm and deep than the usual one. The voice was a bit different. Was he drunk? Or maybe he was stressed. Urges have a way of overriding thoughts. I shrugged the thoughts away and focused on the moment. I want to be in the moment.

He locked his lips with mine. It was rough at first. My tongue pried open his mouth and his tongue groped the insides. A groan escaped from my lips as we engaged in a searing kiss. I turned him upside down while I stayed on top of him. I love being on top. He smirked and ran his eyes over my body. His hands ran back and forth the length of my body and rested at my butt, squeezing them lightly. I let out a groan which prompted him to do more. He found my bare nipples and attacked them immediately. I arched my back, causing my nipples to get an inch closer to him.

After a while of romancing and exploring each other's body, I tugged at his trousers and pulled it off. We were both unclad as I shifted to let him slide into my warm wet honey pot with remarkable ease. My lips found his body as I kissed and bit his nipples. He let out an animalistic groan and the motion began. I went to and fro and he encouraged me by supporting my waist.

Gently at first, his phallus pierced in and out. Then, the desire just inflamed, we began a speed dance. My breasts went up and down and he held them, squeezing it lightly.

Few minutes later, his thick gum spurted from him into me. I felt wetter and pulled out from him. He pulled me closer and gave me a gentle kiss and dropped a hickey on my neck. I smiled and leaned in closer, resting my head on his chest.

I felt lightheaded and happy that Jeff was finally my Mate. I couldn't wait to break the news to Nelly. He's my mate. I don't have to worry about the moon goddess. I rested on his chest and felt relaxed and comfortable. I've never felt this relaxed with Jeff. He has marked me now, he has marked me as his mate so I'm supposed to feel extra relaxed.

Why isn't he saying a thing? I chuckled lightly and was about to break the silence when the door sprung open. We both jerked up as I pulled the duvet close to my body.

What I saw next made me speechless and confused. Another Jeff? How many Jeff are coming to claim me? Then who did I just sleep with? He had a striking resemblance with Jeff but the more I looked at him, the more I saw the difference. The difference between them.

Jeff looks changed from shocked to infuriated.

"Jack?" He growled.

Jack's POV

"Babe, you love me right?" Deliaha asked, drawing imaginary lines on my chest. I wrapped my hands on her waist and pulled her closer to my body, feeling the warmth.

"Mm" I hummed. I've been with her for two years but with no in depth attraction for her, I would say she's my sex partner. I like her but I don't love her. I dated her because I don't want to be overthrown as the Alpha, I needed people to think I'm close to having a family but as time grew, I knew we would never be together. She knew this but she always hoped my feelings for her would change.

"Jack". She called out.

"Yes".

"When are we going for a vacation to some holiday resorts? I want to spend time with you. I want to have fun outside this palace". She whined.

"Girl, I'm quite occupied all the time. I might send you there but I won't come." She gasped in horror, not believing what he just said.

"Then, make some time for me. I want to spend time with you but it seems like you don't want to spend some time with me."

"I do".

"Then prove it by making some time for me. Please, Jack. I'm begging you".

"Okay, I will". I said, sighing tiredly. A scent hit me hard almost immediately, like strawberry. I sniffed the scent in and it makes my body excited and in need.

"Is anything the matter?"

"What? No".

"Jack, Jeff brought a…."

"Wait here". I pulled her away from me and stood up abruptly. "Deiaha, I will be back".

"But where are you going?" She asked curiously. I ignored her question and walked out of the room. The scent! My wolf felt really excited and pushed me further. I groaned and felt a strong, strange, sweet pull pulling me further. I walked further and the scent became stronger. In no minutes, I found myself in front of my brother's room.

"Mate! Mate!" My wolf shouted excitedly. Mate! I became more confused and excited. I pushed the door open and peeked in. A damsel was laying on Jeff's bed. I was taken aback, wondering where she was chosen from. I closed the door behind me and took slow strides in. She's my Mate! Jeff's arranged bride and crush is my Fated Mate. I've been searching for her for years and here she is. I found her eventually but in my twin's room and bed. Where has she been all this while? Why do we have to meet in these circumstances?

I have to mark her. I have to mark and mate with her before my brother does, otherwise l lose her forever. I can't lose her. I've wanted her for years so I can't lose her now. Never! I became so desperate to have her. Along the line, I realized she has principles her life is directed on.

"Jeff, I never heard you drive in". She said softly. I took off my clothes immediately and joined her in bed. The light is dimmed blue so it will be hard making out the different features I and Jeff have. I felt her soft milky skin under me. I couldn't deny that it turned me on. I felt attraction, the attraction I had never felt for Deliaha. The longing! The longing I had never felt for Deliaha. A Mate bond!

I bit her neck and gave her a love bite. An hickey that filled her neck. That is the first step of claiming. She moaned out and I felt the need to claim her. To make her mine. To mate with her. To bond with her. And I did.

The door flung open and hell, Jeff walked in. She stood up with a shock and pulled the duvet close to her. She looked confused and stared at me and him. Jeff looked enraged after figuring out what we've done. He stared at me viciously.

"Jack". He growled out while I jumped up and wore my shorts quickly.

"Jack, why are you in my room with my girl?" He asks with an anger-toned face.

"What is happening?" She asked not wanting to believe what just happened.

"She's my mate so I had to mate with her before you do." I said.

His eyes dropped disappointedly and he looked away from me. He knows about how I've been searching for my mate. And how I've always longed for her. I couldn't miss this opportunity. She's mine after all.

"You should have told me, Jack." He blamed me. "You know how I got to win her heart with a huge price?"

"I just knew." I snapped hoping to get away with this.

"Then you should have waited for me to arrive so you could tell me". He screamed out.

"Oh My God", She said in muffled breaths. She picked her clothes and put them on immediately. She tried avoiding my gaze throughout which made my blood boil. Does she hate me now?

"She's my mate. I have the fucking right to claim her." I said with anger surging through my veins. I'm not angry because of what he said but for the fact that my mate is avoiding eye contact with me. I've always been hot tempered.

"When you know she is my crush and my arranged bride, you should have waited so we could talk it out".

"What's there to talk about? Do I have to seek permission from you before mating with her?"

"Yes, you have to". He screamed and fling a glass cup in my direction. I moved away quickly and it met the wall, shattering into pieces.

"Aaaahhhh". His girl, as he supposedly screamed out, was obviously terrified.

"And you, shouldn't you have waited before mating with him, Yvonne". He said, directing his words to her.

"Don't you dare blame her". I said through gritted teeth. "How will she know you weren't the one, and why would she wait to mate with her mate?"

"What is happening? What is going on?" Deliaha rushed in, hearing the shouts. Our noise must have attracted her. She stared at me and Yvonne not understanding what was happening or maybe she understood but wanted to put it in denial.

"Your damn boyfriend slept with my girlfriend. You better hold him tight".

"She isn't yours, Jeff. She is mine. She is my Mate. What the fuck don't you understand?" Deliaha's face turned pale white at the sudden realization about what was really happening.

"Mate?" She called out. Silence ensued for a while before she made her way out of the room.

"Deliaha?" I called out and ran after her. I have to explain things to her. I may not love her but I care about her. She is my girlfriend and best friend. She may have loved me but she knows my need to know my mate. I've always wanted my mate. Deliaha doesn't deserve this. I hope she finds someone better than me.

"Deliaha, please wait!" I called out as she locked the door.

"Please open the door. Let's talk things out". I could hear her muffled breaths and cries. Suddenly, she screamed out and started destroying things. Sounds of broken case and chair could be heard. That's her way of disagreeing with things.

She always prayed that I shouldn't encounter my mate while I always wanted to feel a bond with my fated mate. She thought that when I knew my mate, I would ignore and hate her but I won't. She is my best friend and I will always cherish her. I will always care and cherish her but I need my mate. I want my mate.

Yvonne's POV

I sat in my room looking dejected and sober. I poured out a drink for myself and kept gulping it down. It has been one week since that incident happened. I left the palace and stayed at the house Jeff bought for me. I'm even ashamed to stay in the property he bought for me.

My love for him vanished the moment I knew my mate. The moment I gave my virginity to his twin brother. I wanted to avoid Jack though. That was why I left the palace, so I would no longer see him. And I wanted to avoid his girlfriend too, though he's my mate I feel so guilty. She would be so heartbroken even though her boyfriend is not her mate, I heard she has fallen deeply for him.

Jeff wants me back at all costs. Even though his brother had marked me, he still wanted me back. He has only two months to be engaged to a girl or else his Alpha Prince position will be moved from him to Jack. Jack is an Alpha Prince of the Northern Supreme American Pack while he is an Alpha Prince of the Southern Supreme American Pack. If Jeff fails to get engaged to a girl within two months, Jack will take over and be the Prince of these two large packs in the American region. He would rule both the Northern and Southern Packs and would have them merged together to form a bigger pack while Jeff might likely become the Royal Beta. This is the least thing he wants to witness, hence he's fighting hard to evade it. Jack has Deliaha already but Jeff didn't have a girl before.

He's been begging me to come back to him. He doesn't mind whether I have been mated to someone else or not. Now I realize that the love I have for Jeff wasn't love but lust, I was still blinded by that high school lust. The love I had for him vanished the moment I knew my mate, the moment Jack took away my virginity. When I crossed my heart with him, I felt a tingling sensation in me. My tummy! He smells so good, blueberries and he is so good in bed. Everything was in place.

I giggled at my thoughts. I'm definitely shameless.

"So, what are you going to do now?"

"I don't know, Nelly. I'm confused. I'm lost." She made some time in her busy schedule to pay me a visit.

"I couldn't believe it and had to rush down here. But now, seeing your condition makes me believe you".

"I couldn't believe it either when I saw two identical twins and realized I slept with the wrong one who eventually turned out to be the right one." I knew them already, like I knew they were twins but since I wasn't close to them, I couldn't spot the difference. This was the first time I came in contact with Jeff's elder brother.

Nelly looked at me with her mouth agape.

"Now I believe you are confused and lost." She said, I smacked her head and she giggled softly. "Two Alphas are fighting over you. You are lucky, girl".

"Go find yourself a man too".

"I don't have the time for that. I want to invest in myself before thinking of any goddamn mate. Look at your condition, it makes me not wanna be with a man or get entangled with them."

"Just shut it". I whined at her.

"You know what, I'm definitely forcing you to come out tomorrow".

"No, I don't want to".

"You've been home for over two weeks".

"Over two weeks? Fear the Goddess Nelly, it isn't over two weeks".

"Two weeks or not, you should flex. Don't kill yourself over them. You will eventually be with Jack. He's your mate ".

"I'm ashamed to look at him".

"You should be because you are shameless. Check yourself in the mirror, you look like a monkey".

"Fuck you". I said amidst laughter. "Stop it Nelly, you are killing me ". I laughed. She really knows how to bring me out of my sober mood.

The sun rays glinted on my face as I opened my eyes and yawned tiredly. I felt like sleeping more and more and more. I still felt sleepy. Suddenly, an ugly feeling came. I stood up and rushed into the toilet, throwing up immediately. I wiped myself and washed my mouth with the running tap.

My stomach rumbled and I felt like passing out. What is happening? Am I sick? Am I falling sick? I felt so weak.

I picked up my toothbrush and cleansed my mouth. Since I'm up, I shouldn't go back to bed even though I'm tempted to.

I got out of the bathroom and picked my phone, dialing Nelly's number.

"Aww.. You miss me already. Make sure you are done dressing up before I get there".

"Cut the crap, Nelly. Would you happen to know the early signs of pregnancy ".

"Ohh please, what's Google there for. Wait, why are you asking Yvonne?"

"I've been having strange symptoms lately. Throwing up, always feeling sleepy. Getting hungry easily".

"Oh My … Yvonne, are you pregnant?"

"I didn't say I was. Stop making a fuss about it".

"But you have a strong gut that you are or else you wouldn't have asked." I scoffed at her reply.

"But we are not sure yet, it might be a normal illness. Wait for me to come over so we can talk".

"Okay". I said and ended the call.

Am I really pregnant? What should I do? I'm not ready to give birth. I'm still too young for that. If I am really pregnant, does that mean I'm pregnant for Jack? Oh My God .. I've fucked up, big time. This can't be real.

Test strip? Yes, I should have one. I rushed upstairs and ruffled through my bag till I came across one. Yes, the test strip? Nelly had it at home then and I had kept one with me. Luckily, it was still there.

I didn't even know how to use it. There's a first time for everything. I sighed and walked into the bathroom, following the instructions.

I peed in a bowl and inserted the test strip into it. Normally, one red line means negative while two red lines mean positive.

I held the strip into the bowl and watched curiously, muffling a silent prayer in me that it should come out negative. I stared at it, breathing heavily while waiting for the result.

Suddenly, my phone rang and I had to drop it to go pick up my phone. I dropped it hastily and rushed outside.

"Nelly, what again?"

"Why are you breathing heavily? Is anything the matter? Is someone there?"

"No, I'm okay".

"Are you sure? Well, I called to ask whether I should cancel all your schedule for today or you will have time for it?"

"I don't think so. Please, cancel it". I said and dropped the call. Oh My God.. What is the result gonna be? My heart pumped heavily. I can't wait to know the result, it would determine my destiny and who I would spend the rest of my life with.
