Firing Me? Sorry, I’m Irreplaceable! Chapter 1

The order I had been working for half a year was about to be palced.

As long as I got this order, the company would be able to overcome the crisis of capital shortage.

However, while I was printing files just now, I accidentally saw that my name was not on the team list reported by the team leader.

Everyone in the company knew that I was the one who had been working on this order.

I angrily went to argue with the director. The director said that he would definitely investigate this matter thoroughly and asked me to go back and wait for the result.

The next day, I received a notice from HR that I was fired!

Everyone said that I was lucky enough to get this big order, but only I knew that it had taken me much time and efforts to get this order.

When everyone got off work on time, only I stayed up late every day in the company to sort out the materials and modify the plan. For this reason, I even bought a camp-bed and put it in the company.

When they had dinner together, I ate instant noodles every day. It was not that I wanted to eat instant noodles, but that they were the most convenient. I could eat them on the way to meet clients.

When Evan, my team leader, offended the client because of some trivial things, I lowered my head and apologized for him. Even on the way to the hospital, I thought of sending the latest plan to him first.

However, when I was lying on the hospital bed, no colleagues came to visit me. Instead, Heath, the person from the cooperation company, came to visit me with fruit and a contract.

"Andrew, to be honest, we planned to hand over this project to another company, but your persistence moved our president. Take a look at the contract. If there is no problem, let's sign the contract at a certain time."

This news was even more effective than a miracle pill. Three days later, though I was still sick, I came back to the company to deal with the following matters.

People are in high spirits when involved in happy events. Although no one knew what I was busy with during my three-day absence, it was not difficult to guess from the smile on my face that there was progress in the project.

"Andrew, why are you so happy? Is there any progress in the project?"

I was stopped in the corridor by the manager with a big smile on his face. The project had not been going well because he had had put a lot of obstacles in the way. In the face of his sudden concern, I had to be more careful.

"No. It’s just that there are some details that needed to be modified."

The manager left after saying, “If there is any problems, you can consult Billy.” This made me a little uncomfortable.

Billy was the team leader of the second group and entered through the back door, which was a well-known secret. The reason why the manager didn't support our project was that Billy was not involved in this project.

The most important thing at the moment was not to think about these hidden rules. The most important thing was to get the contract done.

I stood there respectfully and watched the manager leave. When he was far away, I turned around and went to the administrative department’s office.

When I finished all the registration procedures and looked at the seal on the contract, I was finally relieved.

As soon as I came out of the administrative office, Evan called me and asked me to go to his office.
