Chapter 3
It felt like my world shattered when Caius reached for her and kissed her lips. Lynne smiled and bit her lower lip, restraining her smile. It was so hard for me to watch them like that. Caius lingered for a long time before he finally left.
I clenched my fists. I went home after that and planned something more... bolder. I couldn't take this anymore. I won't let him marry anyone. I won't let anyone have him. Caius is only mine. Not Lynne's, not anyone else's... Just mine.
I prepared the things that I needed the whole day. Before I left the house to finally execute my plan, I glanced at Caius through the screen of my computer. He's peacefully reading a book in his library. I smiled and gently caressed the screen... You'll be mine now.
I wore my face mask and cap and stormed out of my house and went to Lynne's house. It was easier for me to get into her house compared to Caius's house. Lynne is not rich like Caius.
I saw Lynne reading a book in her room. I got even more annoyed... She's exactly like Caius.
I quietly went inside her room. I gripped the baseball bat tightly. Lynne looked in my direction. She gasped when she saw me, but I immediately swung my bat and hit the back of her head with it. I didn't hit her too strong, but it was enough to knock her out.
She lost consciousness and fell onto the bed. I immediately took out the rope from my bag and tied her to the headboard of the bed. I even covered her mouth with a cloth and tied its ends at the back of her head.
I started preparing the bomb that I bought. I don't know if it's really working or not. I don't care anyway. I haven't killed anyone yet, but I don't care if this Lynne dies.
I set up the camera after that and connected it through my phone. I left immediately afterward and then went to Caius's house.
I've been trespassing here in his house almost every day, so it wasn't hard for me to trespass anymore. I thoroughly studied the structure of his house. He seems to be carefree. There are only two CCTVs in his entire house, even though he's rich. It made everything easier for me.
I went inside his library. I have a duplicate key for all the rooms in his house.
I gasped when I saw Caius Lettiere, sitting on his chair, reading a book, like the fucking perfect human being that he is. It seemed like he felt my presence. He turned his gaze on me and his eyes widened when he saw me.
"Who the fuck are you?" he asked, then he closed his book and stood up.
I removed my facemask and my cap. Though I honestly don't know if it made a difference. My face isn't really that visible anyway.
"Ms. Dominguez... H-how the hell did you... Oh, shoot." He stroked his hair with his tattooed fingers.
"Please, sit down, Sir Caius," I said. "We will talk about something so important."
"How did you get in?" he asked in a serious tone; he didn't sit down. "What the hell are you doing here?!"
I sat on the couch in front of him. I opened my bag and took the paper from there and put it on the table. "Just sit down first so I can explain," I said, staring into his eyes.
Caius sighed and did what I said. He sighed and stroked his hair again. "If this is just some prank, I swear, I'll fucking kick you out of the campus," he mumbled; his perfect jaw clenched.
I stood up and positioned myself beside him. He looked up at me. I took the knife from my bag and pointed its blade at his neck. I tried my best not to sit on his lap and grind my already wet cunt on his thigh. I inhaled his scent from the air and bit my lower lip... Fucking good. His presence alone makes me lose my inhibitions.
He tried not to move. I saw how his Adam's apple moved. The blade of the knife was already pressed against his neck... I don't want to hurt him, but there's nothing else I can do.
I studied to strengthen myself and my body for this. I studied martial arts and fighting to frighten and blackmail all those fucking bitches who tried to have their way with Caius.
I smiled at him. "Sign that marriage contract... You will be my husband from now on."
His mouth agape. He looked at me with disbelief in his beautiful amber eyes. "Come again? W-what did you just say?"
I took my phone and threw it on his lap. He picked it up and looked at it. He froze when he saw Lynne on the screen, tied to the bed with a bomb beside her. Caius glared at me as his jaw clenched. "What the fuck did you just do to my fiancée?" I can feel the rage in his voice.
That made my heart throb in pain. So, he really was engaged to that woman.
I took the bomb's activator from my bag and showed it to him. "Just one press here, and the bomb beside your woman will explode... All you have to do is sign that paper and we're good. I won't kill her anymore."
Caius' lips parted. "You're fucking crazy... What kind of prank is this?! This isn't funny, Ms. Dominguez!" He raised his voice at me.
And fuck... It turned me on... so damn much.
I held the activator's button. I felt him sit up straight when he saw what I did. Sweat was forming on his forehead... as if he was nervous. I just smiled and pressed the knife deeper into his neck.
I chuckled as if I'm out of my mind. "If you don't want that bitch to die... be my husband, Caius Lettiere."
Chapter 4
"You're crazy, Ms. Dominguez. I've never met someone as crazy as you are."
I smiled wider. "Thank you, Caius."
"That wasn't a fucking compliment," he said; he gritted his teeth.
I saw him looking at the bomb activator. I know what he's planning. I feel like I can read his mind right now. He's obviously planning to get it from me. I just smirked and pretended to press it. His body immediately stiffened, turning pale.
"If this is just a prank, please stop this now. I'll let this pass, like it didn't happen at all. Just please, stop this immediately, Ms. Dominguez," he said in a serious tone, he seemed desperate.
"Call me Luisa," I muttered. I gently caressed his neck with my thumb. I bit my lower lip to suppress my moan.
Just the slightest touch of our skin, and I felt like I was losing my mind.
"Ms. Dominguez," he insisted stubbornly.
I raised an eyebrow and pretended to press the activator. Caius immediately sat up straight. "I-I mean, Luisa..." His jaw clenched as if he was disgusted. "We should talk about this first. Hmm? I can't marry you just like that. Y-you're my student... and I'm about to marry Lynne," he explained, as if he's explaining to a five-year-old child.
My forehead furrowed. I gripped the activator tightly. "But I'm sure I love you more than she loves you! Can she do these things for you?! I'm sure I'm the only one capable of doing this for you!" I don't know if I still make sense. I'm getting annoyed!
Caius sighed and buried his face in his palms before he stared at me. "I-I don't know why you're so obsessed with me, but I'm not someone who can reciprocate your feelings. Just love someone who can love you back and I'll just forget about this--"
"I don't want anyone else! I only want you!" I couldn't stop myself from raising my voice. "Just fucking sign that paper if you don't want me to kill that bitch!" I snapped, about to press the activator.
Caius obviously panicked. He gulped and licked his lower lip, as if he's trying to think of a way to escape from this... And of course, I will never let him escape. I'd been waiting for this chance for three years.
"Caius... Just sign that paper. I won't kill her once you sign it," I said, trying my best to calm myself.
Caius stared at the marriage contract. He sighed and stroked his hair with his fingers. He looked at me with those pleading eyes. "Luisa... I'll give you anything you want, but please, not this. I really love Lynne. I-I can't do this."
Hearing him say that he loves her makes me want to kill that bitch for real. But as much as possible, I don't want to resort to that. Caius will hate me if I do that. I just want to be with him.
I sighed and rolled my eyes. "You leave me no choice, Caius," I said. I was about to press the button, but Caius stopped me.
"Okay, okay! I'll sign it. O-okay? J-just don't press that... Oh, fuck."
I smiled widely. I took the pen from my bag and gave it to him. "Sign it now. I'll give you three seconds. If you don't sign it within three seconds, I'll press this," I said. "One... Two..."
Caius quickly signed before I even reached three. I smiled and hastily took the paper and put it in my bag. Caius, on the other hand, seemed to have drained all his blood afterward. He stared blankly at the floor, as if he couldn't believe what had happened.
I touched his hair with my overly shaking hand. Damn. I couldn't believe I'm touching him right now. "Caius... Break up with her first thing in the morning and tell her that you don't love her anymore. Hmm?"
"If I do that... you won't hurt her anymore?" he asked in a weak voice. He looked at me, he stared straight into my eyes as if he's looking at my soul.
"Yes. You have my word, Caius. As long as you're mine, I won't hurt her," I muttered.
We both went silent for a moment. I took my time and stared at his handsome face. My knees are shaking like hell right now. I don't know how I managed to pull everything off. I'm really nervous, but I guess I did great for not letting it show.
"I will let go of her now... and I'll register our marriage right after... I'll be right back," I said and smiled at him.
I didn't wait for him to speak. I immediately turned my back on him and left. I giggled like a kid when I finally went out of his house. I couldn't contain the excitement that I feel. I even slapped myself to know if this was real. I felt ecstatic when my slap hurt.
Even though I don't want to, I went to Lynne's house. She was still unconscious. I untied her and immediately removed the bomb. I laid her on the bed and placed the book beside her so she would think that what happened tonight was just a dream. I don't know if she'll think that, but whatever.
I returned to Caius's house after taking care of Lynne. I climbed the gate and entered through the window. I found Caius cooking in the kitchen. I smiled and approached him, only to stop because I smelled something burning.
I immediately went to him. He was just staring blankly at what he was cooking, seemingly out of it.
"Caius," I called him.
Caius flinched and looked at me. He still seemed surprised and couldn't believe it when he saw me. I just smiled at him and looked at the burnt fried chicken that he was cooking. "Is that for me?" I asked.
Caius just cleared his throat and turned off the stove. "No, it wasn't for you. I'll just throw these. They're burnt," he said, then took the frying pan and was about to throw it away, but I immediately stopped him.
Chapter 6
I quietly took care of it. I put on a robe then brushed my teeth afterward. I took the white extra toothbrush. I know the toothbrush he uses is blue. As much as I love everything about him, I don't want to creep him out even more by using his toothbrush... Like I've said earlier, I have to take everything slow for the meantime... though I know I wasn't doing it right.
I wore Caius' T-shirt after that. It was huge for me; the hem reached my legs. I smiled widely as I smelled his scent through the shirt. I hugged myself and giggled. I can't believe this is happening.
I went out of the bathroom. I just swallowed and approached a table. I took Caius' comb that was placed there and started combing my hair. I kept staring at him while he was busy with what he was doing.
After I finished combing my hair, I approached the bed and sat on the edge, far from Caius' spot. I swallowed when he paused and looked at me. His forehead creased; his gaze fell to what I was wearing.
"Why are you wearing my shirt?" he asked, seemingly annoyed.
"I don't have my clothes with me," I murmured.
"That's not my problem anymore. I don't want anyone wearing my clothes." His jaw clenched.
I just nodded. I held the hem of the shirt and just simply took off the clothes I was wearing. "Okay. I don't mind sleeping naked," I said and handed him his shirt.
Caius immediately turned his gaze away from me. "Damn," I heard him hiss.
He stood up and threw the shirt back at me. "Fine! Fucking wear it!" he snapped.
I just smiled and put his clothes back on. I immediately smelled it once I wore it. I can smell his scent from it. I'm so happy.
"Thank you," I whispered and hugged myself.
Caius sighed and sat on the bed again. "This will be the last time, Luisa. I couldn't keep up with your pranks anymore... You're still my student, you should respect--"
I immediately cut him off. "I'm your wife now. I'm not just your student."
Caius looked at me. I tucked my hair behind my ears and stared at him too. I felt him freeze when he stared at me. My forehead slightly creased because he was staring so intently at me.
"W-why?" I asked, trying my best to calm my heart.
Caius avoided my gaze and cleared his throat. He stood up and took his laptop. "Sleep here. I'll sleep in the living room," he said, then he immediately stormed out of the room.
I just fell silent, not understanding what happened. I looked at Caius' wardrobe, where there was a large mirror attached. I froze when I noticed that my hair wasn't covering my face... my face was clearly visible.
I touched my cheek gently... Did seeing my face make him uncomfortable?
I stared at myself in the mirror. I look like I haven't slept for a fucking decade. My eyebags seemed to have gotten even deeper.
I sighed and massaged my temple. I probably hadn't slept for two hours yet. I can't count how many times I peeked at Caius in the living room. I want him to sleep beside me, but I couldn't force him. I always stopped whenever I looked at his peaceful sleeping face.
I shook my head and took another set of clothes from Caius' wardrobe. I went to the bathroom to take a bath. I almost stayed for an hour there; I enjoyed Caius' scent lingering in the air. I came out of the bathroom smelling almost like him again. I just smiled and combed my hair, then immediately left Caius' room.
I immediately smelled the fried rice he was cooking. I went straight to the kitchen. I found him cooking. I just bit my lower lip and stared at his back. He was just wearing a simple T-shirt and sweatpants, his hair was a bit messy, but he still had a strong presence.
"Caius... Good morning."
He turned his gaze at me. I bit the insides of my cheeks when our eyes met. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself.
He didn't say anything. He returned his attention to what he was cooking. I didn't say anything either and just sat down. I bowed my head and adjusted my hair. I used it to cover my face again. I think I'm no longer comfortable with my hair not covering my face.
When Caius finished cooking, he also sat across from me. He started eating after that. I blinked twice while staring at him. My cheeks heated when I realized that he only cooked for himself. There are rare moments that I was embarrassed, and this moment was included.
Caius stopped eating and looked at me. I bit my lower lip and tried to calm myself. Stay cool, stay cool, stay cool.
"If you want to eat, cook your own food," he said coldly then continued eating.
I gulped and nodded. "O-oh, yes."
I stood up and went to the kitchen counter. I just got instant coffee to make. I'm not really fond of eating breakfast. Coffee is enough for me. I don't eat much anyway. Sometimes I only eat once or twice a day.
I'm aware that my mental instability affects my eating habits. I'm aware that I'm mentally unstable. I'm aware my actions are not normal. I'm aware that I need mental help... but I really just don't care about it all.
Before I met Caius, I just wanted to die. When I met him, I realized I want to live for him. I gave my life to him... I know it's bad to depend on him this way, to use him to keep me sane... I'm sure I wasn't sane right now though. This is something that a sane person won't do.
My life was meaningless before he came. I don't believe in God, though if He's real, He just wasted a life on me... I was never loved my whole life. No one cared for me, not even my family. It's not that I cared for them anyway. I was just an apathetic bitch.
But when I met Caius, I was glad I'm alive. He's the only person I care about, the only person that I love... He's my life.
Caius glanced at me when I sat in front of him again. His forehead creased. He looked at the cup of coffee in front of me. "Coffee is your breakfast?" he asked.
I nodded. "I'm not fond of eating breakfast," I just whispered.
Caius didn't say anything, but he stood up and placed his plate in front of me. "Eat that," he just said, then left and went to his room.
I looked at the fried rice that was not even half-eaten. I smiled and touched both my cheeks. I stared at the fried rice for a long time before I decided to eat. I don't like eating breakfast, but if Caius cooks, I'll always eat.
It honestly tastes good. I know Caius can cook, but this is the first time I've tasted his cooking, aside from the burnt fried chicken last night. He's a good cook!
It took me a long time to finish eating because I really savored Caius' cooking... I stood up and washed the plate after I ate. I was about to enter his room, but I stopped when he came out. He's now wearing a white long-sleeve button-up shirt, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His hair was also neatly styled, and I could strongly smell his perfume, which was fragrant and not irritating to the nose.
He was about to leave but I held his wrist. I just pulled back when I felt an unfamiliar spark when our skin touched. I stared at him. "Are you going to campus now? You should have told me so we could go together," I just said.
Caius stared at me intently. "Are you fucking kidding me? Why the hell would I do that?" he asked in a cold tone. "Don't talk to me at the campus. Don't try to approach me. Don't even dare to look at me."
After saying that, he immediately turned his back on me and left. Instead of getting angry, I just smiled as I watched him leave... He can be rude and insult me, I won't get annoyed or complain.
I just went into the room and took my bag. I went home to my apartment first to change clothes. I called Papa's secretary afterward to arrange the marriage contract with Caius.
I quietly waited at the coffee shop near the campus. I looked at my watch. He's taking longer today... Maybe he's busy.
"Luisa!"
I turned my gaze at Neron Maravilla. He's my father's trusted secretary. He's kind and somehow, I consider him as my friend. He's the only person that acknowledged my existence... I think. He's really not bad. I hate all people in the world, but I don't hate Neron that much.
Neron sat on the chair and sighed. He wiped the sweat on his forehead using his handkerchief and smiled at me. "Hello, Luisa. I missed you."
