Ariana's pov

I didn't know when I slept off last night and I checked the other side of the bed I didn't meet Chris

But where could he be??.....

I was surprised with the way he acted yesterday.... could it be that he is still angry??.

He has never acted like this towards me before.

Could it be that he was angry about something before??

We both agreed to wait till on our wedding night..... why is he now changing is mind now.

I yawned and stood up from the bed tiredly to check up on him and know what really happened?? Or could it be awake before me??.

So I decided to walk to the sitting room and I did not see him.....I checked everywhere and I did not meet him and I was surprised.

"How come??" I thought.

But he just left the room not long ago.

Suddenly I noticed I started perceiving something...... like someone was smoking so I decided to trace the odour....... So I walked through the balcony and that was where I met him he was holding a cigarette.

"Or could it be that I am dreaming.... maybe he is not the one" I thought.

Or maybe I am not awake fully that is the reason why I am thinking he is the one.

"But he is the one, I can still recognize is side view well" I said to myself.

He was facing outside and I noticed he was staring at the sky.

But if he is the one, why would he be smoking this early morning.

As I walked towards him he still didn't notice me.

I got choked immediately and I saw the cigar in his hand.

I didn't know when I started coughing....

And that was when he noticed me.

And he turned immediately.

I was very surprised because I have never seen such a thing in his hand before.

But why?? Why didn't I notice that he smoked.

"you..... you smoke??" I asked him.

"Yes once in a while" he replied.

"But why?? And why have you not mentioned it to me before" I asked.

" It was because I don't know how you would feel.... since you've figured it out by yourself now, no problem" he said.

"Am sorry" he said.

"Sorry?? Sorry for what??" I asked him.

"Am sorry for shouting at you.... is just that I was in the mood that time" he said.

"Ok no problem.... have forgiven you since, moreover you did not offend me but am still pissed at you for not telling me this" I said.

"I know and am sorry" he said and drew me closer.

"You know I love you right" he asked.

And I nodded.

And he pecked me on my cheek.

"No matter what he does ,I will always love him" I thought.

Kidwell's pov

The next morning......

The blaring sound of my alarm woke me up, so I woke up tiredly and stood up from the bed.

I quickly entered the bathroom and brushed my teeth, after I finished brushing.... .I removed my clothes and I bathed.

After I finished bathing I picked up my arranged clothes and wore them

After I finished wearing my clothes I left the house.

"No breakfast this morning because I have not employed a new maid so I am going to eat at work" I thought and shook my head.

I entered my car and drove straight to the office.

Immediately I entered my office,I received an email to work on a file and submitted it.

And I started working on it....

After I finished working on it,I stood up and left the office so I could deliver the file.

Ariana's pov

I was sitting down in my office when the door opened.

I was surprised when I saw the useless guy who stepped on me the other day.

"You" I said.

"You" he said also.

"What the fuck are you doing in my office" I asked.

And suddenly I noticed he burst into laughter.

"Office" he asked.

"Yes" I answered.

"You call this place the office"he said and looked around.

"If I had known that it was here I was coming, I wouldn't have come" he said.

"why are you here Mr rude" I said.

"Mr rude?? You must be silly miss" he said.

"You are the one silly here because you bathed into my office in the first place without knocking, I don't know where you kept your manners"I said.

"Hmmmm..... don't let me drag words with you, because I don't talk to fools like you..... anyways I came to give you this file so you can work on it"he said and dropped it and before I knew it he walked out of my office.

"You would have waited, you fool.....you would have waited for your reply" I shouted.

"OMG!!! Why must he always walk out on me I must teach this guy a lesson so that he can know how to talk to ladies" I thought.

He has changed my mood again today huh......

Let me check the useless file he brought.

I opened the file and I was shocked when I saw that it was an important file.

Kidwell's pov

Why didn't I know that it is the useless girl's office in the first place.

Imagine, see the way she talks to me lavishly.

I don't know what is in that place she calls the office.

Have been wondering about the planet where she comes from, and have never seen a woman that is rude like her.

I will make sure I teach her a good lesson in this company.

She thinks she is the only one that can talk anyhow.

I barged into my office back angrily and sat down.

Chris's pov

As I was giving my baby a massage suddenly my phone started ringing.

I checked the caller and I noticed it was Ariana.... I hissed and I didn't pick the call.

The phone started ringing again.

"Babe pick your call now" Janet said.

"Is Ariana, I am wondering if she is not supposed to be at work now... I don't know why she is calling me"I said.

"Hmmm don't worry pick it.... did you want to spoil our plan" she asked.

"I know but I don't like the way she is disturbing me" I said.

Suddenly the phone interrupted me while I was trying to talk.

I kissed Janet before I picked the call.

"Hello babe....how far" she asked.

"Why have you not been picking my calls" she asked again.

"Babe how many questions did you want me to answer you at the same time" I asked.

"Anyways I am very worried about you not picking my calls,and have been thinking about you all day at work" she said.

"Wow, are you kidding me"I asked.

"Babe am serious, let's meet today" she said.

"Hmmm, I am going out for a business issue later so we will not be able to meet" I said.

"Ok no prob, I will call you later.... love you" she said.

"I love you too baby" I said.

And I ended the call.

Janet smiled and hugged me.

Ariana's pov

I woke up the next morning and after I finished dressing for work I stared at myself in the mirror and smiled.

I combed my long curly hair and wore my shoes before leaving the house.

As I was on my way my mind drifted to Chris, he hasn't called me since yesterday that I called him.

"What could have not made him call him" I thought.

" He is unlike him not to call me at night" I thought as I entered my car.

And before I knew it he called him......

"Hmmm!! How does he know that I am thinking about it" I thought.

I smiled as I picked the call.

"Hello babe, I am really sorry for not calling you since" he said.

"Hmmm, it's okay but I really miss you" I answered.

"I miss you more baby" he said.

"Are you at work already" he asked.

"Am on my way now" I replied.

"Okay" he said.

And there was silence for a few minutes.

"So when are we going to see again" I said and broke the silence.

"Tomorrow" he answered...

"Ok I will call you later,I need to attend to some things" he said and ended the call.

I smiled and dropped my phone.

A few minutes later........

I got to work and got out of my car and as I was going to my office..... I was surprised when I met the rude jerk on my way.

And as I was passing, I noticed his gaze at me.

"Why are you staring at me like that, if you don't have work more than staring at someone early in the morning, you can go to your office and sleep" I said and hissed before I passed him.

"Come back here, why will I be staring at ugly fool like you" I heard as I was going and my head banged immediately.

Nobody has ever insulted me like that in my entire life.

"This guy is really stupid, I think he is becoming more annoying day by day" i thought.

I turned and I wanted to say something because I was really angry..

"Come back here why will I be staring at ugly fool like you" the words replay in my ear again.

"As beautiful as I am,he has the effrontery to call me ugly fool huh" I thought.

And I stared at him angrily..........

"Silent is the best answer for a fool" I said and walked away angrily.

As beautiful as I am huh.....

I entered my office angrily and quickly removed my mirror from my bag.

I stared at myself in the mirror and I was looking beautiful like ever.

"But why??" Why would that idiot call me ugly fool" I thought.

All the people I have met usually say I am beautiful which I know.

"Hmmm,I must make sure I deal with him in this company" I thought.

Kidwell's pov

That girl thinks she is beautiful huh, why would she think I would be staring at her.

What is in her that I would be staring in her body.

She is not even the type of girl that I like......

She thinks she is the only one that is in this company with the way she carries herself.

I don't know what she has, I will make sure I deal with her.

I cannot let anyone talk to me anyhow here.

Ariana's pov

I was really tired when I got home.

I couldn't still get over that jerk statement.... it kept popping into my mind.

Or am I really ugly?......

"No!!! No!!!* I screamed out.

"But am I insane?? Why would I be thinking about that lunatic word"I thought...

Suddenly my phone started ringing I checked the caller and I discovered it was my mum and I picked it up.

"Hello mum"I said.

"Hello, my daughter" she said.

"How are you" she asked.

"Am fine mum ,how is Dad also" I asked.

"He is okay dear, when are you coming home?? we are missing you" I heard and I frowned immediately....

"Soon mum,son and I promise I am coming with a surprise" I answered.

"Surprise, what surprise??" She asked.

"Don't worry when I come" I said.

"Alright my dear, don't stress yourself too much" she said.

"Ok mum, bye" I said and ended the call.

"Hmm I can't wait to surprise them" I thought and smiled.

"Come back here,why will I be staring at ugly fool like you" it replays in my head again.

And I screamed.,..........
