Chapter 7

"You have your own job now, and you are an adult. Be mature."

"I haven't married anyone I like! Mr. Campbell, don't leave me."

In the face of her crying look, Ryan Campbell said calmly, "You are excellent now, doing the work you like, you can live as you want, and my existence is optional for you."

Kathy Clark shook her head, tears began to fall, and she looked pitiful and helpless, "This is not the life I want. I just do all this to make myself better, so that I can stand by you in a glamorous way."

"You're just dependant on me. I am married now. My wife is not a particularly generous person. Don't say such things again in the future. It is not good for her to hear it. There is no need to do these meaningless things." When he finished speaking, he stood up, looked down at her and said, "Go back to rest early, I will go first."

Back home, I took a bath and lay in bed, looking at a strange house, but it was comfortable and let people forget their uneasiness. After tossing all day, I was even more tired than going to work, and I fell asleep after a while.

It was early morning when Ryan Campbell finished the work at hand. When he came out of the study, his footsteps stopped in front of the door, reached out and twisted the door, and he locked it.

Ryan Campbell's pov

I went to my room to find the key and gently opened the door. In the dark room, the moonlight fell on the bed, and I could faintly see the sleeping girl in bed, who slept sound.

I thought she would not get used to it on her first day. It seems that she has a strong adaptability.

I picked up the remote control and adjusted the temperature of the air conditioner before leaving her room. After going out, I didn't forget to lock the door back to her.

The next day, I was woken up by the alarm clock at seven o'clock, reluctantly opened my eyes and got up from bed, washing slowly.

Sitting on the bed, I just took off my pajamas. Before I could put my clothes on my body, the door was knocked. I picked up the quilt in panic and covered it. I was relieved to think of locking the door.

"Come down and have breakfast."

I was stunned .

This is the first time I have been told to eat breakfast when I get up. After going downstairs, looking at the hearty breakfast on the table, I always feel that I have earned .

He brought two cups of milk, sat opposite me and asked, "Have you washed your face, brushed your teeth and washed your hands?"

I looked at him and replied angrily, "I washed it."

He raised his watch, looked at the time and said, "I heard your alarm clock ring at seven o'clock, and it took half an hour to wash?"

I paused with the milk cup in my hand, then nodded confidently, "Well, what's the matter? Is it in your way?"

He just looked at me and said faintly, "Get up and finish washing within ten minutes, eat breakfast at 7,10 on time, go out at 7,30, and I will take you to work."

When I heard his strict schedule, I immediately refused, "Don't bother you, we agreed to live in our own way. It is my business when I get up and go to work. If you are kind, leave me a little breakfast. If that's troublesome for you, don't worry about me. I can manage it myself."

Then he said, "It's your business whether you get up or not and eat breakfast. I'm disciplining my children."

Again!

"The child is very good in my belly! It's no need for you to discipline! Mind yourself!"

"I am not discussing with you. The timetable will be implemented from tomorrow. I have thousands of ways to clean you up if you don't comply."

After he finished speaking, he began to eat breakfast. I stared at him for several seconds, and the originally happy breakfast time was ruined by him.

When I went to work in his car, I got off at the intersection without talking all the way. I don't want to be seen by acquaintances getting off such a ostentatious luxury car and gossip.

There is a luxurious photo studio next to the convenience store where I work. People who come in and out are either rich or noble people with identity. Their eyes are so sharp. If they recognize me, my work will be troublesome.

Near noon, the sister in the photo studio next door asked me to heat a sandwich for her. Because there were no guests in the convenience store .

I didn't expect to meet Jimmy Davis here.

He sat on the low-legged sofa in the corner, reading a wedding magazine in his hand.

At this point, the door of the fitting room on one side opened and my so-called best friend, Nicole Stewart, came out wearing a wedding dress.

When I didn't find out their secret love affairs, Nicole Stewart gave me the feeling that she was a quiet and introverted girl, who spoke softly and didn't compete with others. It was her appearance that deceived her boyfriend and me for so long.

I tried to pretend not to see, but Nicole Stewart stopped me voluntarily, "Sister Irene!"

I didn't expect her to have the courage to call me, and I didn't shrink , and walked over with a generous smile.

I smiled and greeted them, but when Jimmy Davis saw me, his eyes were a little surprised and his eyes were a little complicated.

Nicole Stewart is arrogant as usual, who will put on a guilty expression and hold Jimmy Davis's hand. She looks at me with caution, as if I bullied her.

"Sister Irene, Jimmy and I are going to get married." She looked as pitifully as if she were asking my permission.

Chapter 8

I sneered, looked at Jimmy Davis, and said blandly, "Congratulations, both of you."

There is not a trace of sadness, and it is surprising to be free and easy.

Just an ex-boyfriend, hum!

Nicole Stewart took the wedding dress and shook it in front of me. She looked innocent and happily pulled me and asked, "Sister Irene, your tastes have always been very good. Do you think this wedding dress suits me?"

I sneer,

"Sister Nicole, you have a big skeleton, are you not particularly tall, and have gained weight recently? It's really hard to pick, just find one that can be worn in?"

Her face changed, probably because Jimmy Davis was present, and she didn't get angry. She smiled and said, "After knowing that I was pregnant, Jimmy always let me eat well, and I put on a little weight, but Jimmy said this wedding dress suits me very well."

I smiled and pointed out, "You have similar tastes, no wonder you hit it off so well."

Nicole Stewart laughed wryly. Probably because she was afraid that I would say something again, she changed the subject, "Sister, if... you can be my bridesmaid, I will be very happy."

I laughed mockingly.

The viewpoint of Irene Nadine

"I'm sorry, I'm married, and I'd like to leave if that's okay."

Jimmy Davis, who had never spoken before, opened the door when he heard my comments. His tone was a touch nervous, and he asked, "Are you married?!"

"Sorry I didn't notify you, but I assumed you were too busy to attend my wedding," I said with a smile.

"Simply find a man and marry him. Do you believe it is proper?"

"It's not what casual dude, but he's better than you."

They both don't look good. Jimmy Davis is even angrier. Nicole Stewart yanked on his arm, hypocritically saying, "Jimmy, forget about it. Don't say anything. I'm sure she has some grievances. We're sorry for what happened to her. She will be able to find a decent family. We should be pleased."

Jimmy Davis's expression did not improve, and he questioned me, "You've known that man for a long time, don't you?You must date him frequently behind my back."

I don't bother explaining anything to him, whatever he thinks is excellent, it isn't an important person, smiling and responding, " I still have something to do, you two continue."

For a brief while, I believed that my marriage to Ryan Campbell had had little impact. At the very least, I didn't lose horribly in front of Jimmy Davis, and he thought I was better than him, so that was enough.

I returned to the convenience shop and worked until 7 p.m. Ryan Campbell called me in the afternoon to invite me to supper. I answered no, and he brought up the children again. I was so enraged that all I said was "busy" and hung up.

It's a good thing he didn't call any more.

Things always appear to be different from what we agreed in the start. He stated that he would not live with me, but he treated me with three meals a day, which is exactly what a true husband and wife would do.

Of course, I won't be confident that my attractiveness has captivated him and convinced him to reconsider. The child in my womb is the only thing that makes sense. He just cares about his child.

I realized I didn't know Ryan Campbell's apartment address as I stood at the bus stop waiting for the bus. I rode his car in and out without looking at the apartment name.

I had to send him a text message to get his address. I was waiting for his response. His phone number appeared on the mobile phone interface. When I plugged in the phone, he said, "Where ?"

"Just give me your address."

"I'll pick you up," he stated unequivocally.

"The crossroads."

I'm not sure if he's around. His car arrived shortly after I arrived at the crossroads.

He had so many reasons to train me that he began as soon as he boarded the bus "If you can call, don't send text messages. I'll stand here all night if I don't see you?"

I turned my head out the window, pretending not to hear, and reasoned that I didn't want to contact him to send a text message.

"Didn't you say you left work at eight o'clock?"

"Didn't I say I was preoccupied?"

"Resign, I'll give you my salary, and my son needs to go to bed before eight o'clock," he replied, seeing my anxiousness.

I can't help but yell angrily, "Psycho!"

He didn't say anything else, and I believed I had scolded him so harshly that I felt I had the upper hand.

He, on the other hand, refused. He didn't begin settling accounts until he got to the apartment. Simply because he didn't have time to converse with me while driving.

Ryan Campbell exited the vehicle and walked around to the back. He pushed open the door on my side. He entered and loomed over me before I could get out.

Before I had a chance to respond, he seized my face, squeezed my mouth, dropped his head, and asked, "Are you very good at swearing? Let's hear two more sentences."

"Let me go!"

Ryan Campbell not only did not let to, but actually strengthened his strength. "Swear once more."

I looked at him, stretched out my hand against his chest, but how can I push him away? I'll swear, but he made me!

"Don't believe I can't deal with you. I'll show you if I don't obey." He wouldn't let me go until he was done speaking.

I crept though the car , my face going crimson at any moment, and run ahead of him to the elevator, furious.

When I returned home, I went straight to my room and banged the door shut. Ryan Campbell glanced and said, "Big temper."

I turned off my alarm clock and went to sleep for a while the next day, long after Ryan Campbell stated yesterday about waking up.

Chapter 9

I was still irritably stuffed my head with a quilt when Ryan Campbell knocked on the door.

Ryan Campbell came in and looked at the bed, which was wrapped in a ball. He was so enraged that talking seemed pointless .

He walked into the bathroom, squeezed toothpaste on my toothbrush, returned to her bed, lifted my duvet, and pulled my lips open and stuffed the toothbrush in, much like what my father had done when I sas a child.

I jumped out of bed, grabbed my toothbrush, but my mouth was full of toothpaste, and I couldn't talk. I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

He also stayed by the door, looking at his wristwatch, to remind me that "there are still eight minutes to wash and change clothing."

"You are sick!" I cried from the bottom of my heart as I spit out the mouthwash in my mouth.

He wrung his brows and walked to the bathroom. "Did I say anything to you last night?"

I know he did not ask me to swear, and I also know that swearing is wrong, but he can't stand it!

Ryan Campbell entered the restroom, shut the door, and pushed me back against the sink. His voice was so icy that it made people shiver. "Hmm... I'll think about how I can punish you so you remember."

I felt guilty at first because I was still aggressive. "Get out of the way!" I yelled as I swallowed my saliva.

"You should mind your temper." He bowed his head and put his kisses on my lips, reaching out and clamping my tilting head...

My eyes were wide open in horror, and I fought hard, but my power was insufficient to fight him.

The kiss was so lengthy in the little area that it was suffocating that Ryan Campbell glanced at me, a little breathless, before releasing me.

Before I could begin cursing, he added, "If you swear again, I will kiss once. This punishment may be considered a prize for you. You can scold every day if you want. You have four minutes left." Saying that, I walked out of the room carefully.

That kiss really messed with my thoughts.

I didn't put up a good mood for him after that day. And I didn't swear again.

Ryan Campbell didn't yell at me to get up when it was my turn to take a weekend trip. Instead, he microwaved my breakfast and went to the company by himself.

I was exhausted after getting pregnant. I didn't get enough sleep before going to work. I didn't get out of bed until eleven a.m. today. When I noticed the time, I assumed my phone was broken.

I ate the breakfast he left behind at midday, which was far superior to my typical lunch. After all, when I'm alone, I frequently eat quick noodles.

Lying on the sofa in the living room, watching TV for a bit, admiring the beautiful weather outdoors, changing clothes, and I impulsively walking to the flower shop to buy some potted plants and seeds.

Ryan Campbell returned at 5:30 and spotted me busy on the balcony. "What are you up to?"

I turned my back on him and became silent.

Ryan Campbell stepped over and looked at the mud she had formed, thinking that the small girl enjoyed making these flowers and plants and didn't mind her. "I have to go back at 7,00 in the evening, Grandpa's eightieth birthday, my clothes are at your door, tidy up myself, and leave out at 6,30," she simply stated.

My hand paused briefly before returning to usual. I could hear it, but I didn't want to talk to him.

Ryan Campbell didn't linger long before returning to his place.

When I lived alone, I always felt like there was something missing. It's great to have a girl that enjoys pounding.

He sat in the living room reading financial publications, while she worked on potted plants on the balcony. The crash sound of pottery made him feel like he wasn't alone in this house from time to time.

He urged me to change at six o'clock.

He handed me a lotus pink skirt with a little V-neck and a high waist that won't suffocate my stomach. The style is lovely, and the size is appropriate.

Ryan Campbell stood beside the door, staring at me up and down. For the first time, he chose clothes for a lady and was concerned that they were unsuitable.

Ryan Campbell's pov

She is so amazing!

She is not tall, sand she has white skin. This little face with delicate facial characteristics is incredibly adorable, except when she is angry and swearing.

Ryan Campbell hung the gift, shut the door, and came up behind me, saying, "This is for Grandpa later, just pretend you purchased it."

I looked down and sighed inwardly because he was really cautious. All of this was taken into account, but my expression indicated that I didn't care.

It was around seven o'clock when I arrived at the residence. I grabbed his hand in mine and entered the field at his request. I've always felt compelled to meet his relatives tonight.

I delivered a gift to Grandpa with Ryan Campbell, and with Ryan Campbell, he met many people, elders at home and friends at work.

Only his family knew I was Ryan Campbell's wife, and the rest of them didn't seem to be interested, perhaps thinking I was Ryan Campbell's date or something.

"If you're tired of walking, go over there and sit for a while. I'll go buy you some food."

I don't know anyone here. All night, my cheeks will be stiff with laughter. It's preferable to locate a quiet area and sit down to await.

Ryan Campbell promised to bring me food, but he didn't show there for quite some time. I got up and went foraging by myself after being pestered and talked by an acquaintance.

There was plenty of food in the food section. I was avaricious. On the plate, I placed a snack. When I was ready to return with a drink, Mrs. Campbell appeared out of nowhere, snatched what I was holding, and exclaimed, "I've been looking for you everywhere, Irene. Ryan, why are you here by yourself?"
