Jude ran over, my eyes fixed on his face. He didn't look as cold as he was months back.
Was he really Jude? I couldn't shake off the feeling he wasn't the Jude I longed for.
"Did you miss me?" He asked? As we walked into the apartment.
His hand was clinging to a blade. He never changed Gently he rubbed onto the blade
Why would Jude ask me that?
Looking at his face that close, a smile creamed my face.
"This guy always finds a way to scare me." I thought. But I didn't want to give him the chance to.
His eyes widened
"You dare smile?"
Quickly, I bent my head down. Hoping he would go his way, but no. He wasn't done teasing me. I stood there waiting to see what he would do.
He grabbed my hand, and then gently traced it on the blade. I swallowed hard, horrified, "what was this crazy guy going to do?" my face scowled.
"Did you miss me?" He asked again.
Was that even a question? I missed him of course but how could I ever admit it to him?
His gaze burned deep on my face. His stare intensified, I saw him gulped down his saliva.
But why was that?
"Did you really not miss me?." There was a hint of disappointment in his voice.
I smirked. "Why should I have missed you?" I questioned.
"Aren't you afraid?" He said.
"Why should I be?" I thought but I could never let him know I wasn't that terrified. He was like a crazy dog, but a crazy dog I longed for.
I smiled again, and his face widened. "You really don't know fear." He dropped my hand, his eyes glued to my lips.
Slowly, I licked my lips. I was daring him to kiss me. He turned his face away. "Don't do that." He warned, but that made me grin even wider.
"Was he captivated by my lips?" I thought.
I wanted to step on his legs, but I stopped immediately. What if he slit my throat?. I didn't care anymore.
I watched him tenderly hold my face in his palm. "If you smile again, I won't be nice," he said. His hand tracing my lips.
He looked like he would actually do something, "I wanted him to try but what if he did?"
I shook his hand away and tried getting my act together but I couldn't. I thought he'd kiss me forgetting he was holding a blade.
I stared at his hard built chest, I lowered my head immediately.
"Gosh that was crazy." I whispered underneath my breath but he heard.
"What did you say?" He asked coldly
As if this wasn't intimidating enough. I muttered "You are perfect." Subconsciously, realizing what I had said, I sprinted towards my room, but he held me.
"You said I am perfect?"
"No." I retorted
Looking at his grinning face."You were bold just now...what happened?" He said.
I drew back. "I shouldn't harbor improper thoughts, he is a dangerous guy." I thought. I never thought I would see this side of him. He was usually calm and domineering.
"A devil in human clothing." I whispered.
He caught my hand.
As if he knew what was on my mind. Gently he pulled me into his arms.
"Should we try something?" He smirked.
That creeped me off.
My breath quickened.
He lifted my chin with the tip of his finger, whispering into my ears. "I want to see how bold you are."
He carried me into his arms.
"What are you doing?" I asked, panicking.
He was so usual, his wording, his actions none seemed like him.
"Are you really Jude?." I asked, staring at him.
He scoffed. "You will know soon."
This guy is so insane. "Drop me." I shouted.
He dropped me just like that. I crashed to the hard floor. "What is wrong with an asshole?"
He stared at my twisted face, "Didn't you ask me to drop you?."
And he did? I shook my head in disbelief. This guy is nuts. I ran to my room, but he followed suit.
As soon as I closed the door, it couldn't close fully well. I tried again then I realized that someone was holding it. Was this guy haunting me? What does it want again? I thought.
Slowly he dragged open the door.
The moment he stepped inside, he seemed like a different person. His grinning, he was like a psycho. My heartbeat quickened.
He walked towards me. His every step was gentle but it spoke a lot.
I ran into the bed covering myself with the quilt. He creeps me.
I closed my eyes hoping he wouldn't do anything.
So skilled in intimidating, so skilled in seduction. I believe he must be good at ..." I held my thoughts. What was I thinking? My face burned.
He lifted the quilt, "Why is your face red?" I ignored him and turned my face to the other side of the bed.
He leaned closer whispering, "Do you want me?"
The look in his eyes was like he was going to explore soon.
"Yes...I mean No." Gosh. I didn't understand what came over, he moved closer, my heartbeat stopped.
After Jude dropped me off at school, my mind was occupied by him. Every single thought of mine was all about him.
I didn't know how he began to control my life the way he did. My thoughts and wants. I couldn't tell but one thing was certain. I believed he might also have a crush on me, he did things for me.
He was more attentive and attractive than before. I believed he might like me back even a little.
Who would have thought, it was all foul play? But were my emotions part of them? Did he never like me? not even for a moment?.
Returning home, different thoughts filled my mind. Possibilities, Who was Jude.? Why has he changed his strategy?
It was okay, I could show my love and affection slowly.
He never for once acted like he didn't know I had a thing for him.
Jude's hand was filled with a take out. Unlike him, he never cooked or gave me any cash to prepare what we eat.
This Jude was surprisingly different and suspicious. Do I like this new him? or the old him?
He looked less of a gangster, but the old him was a real bandit.
"You said you weren't feeling well, I guess you won't have the strength to cook dinner." He said.
I gasped, shocked at the display. "For real?" I thought in my head. "Gosh...this guy what is he planning next?."
Was he really the Jude I know?
"How did you know I wasn't feeling well?"
I questioned, not convinced.
He pointed to a written paper on the desk. "Wait, When did you return?" I was surprised.
He smirked, "I never left."
"That's a lie I said." standing up. If he never left, why did he make me wait and long for him day and night.?
"Then where were you.?" Hoping he would give me a definite answer but he didn't.
"He just sat there looking at the food." I turned to leave but he shouted. "You dare leave." His voice was cold like ice, it could bring someone to act in order.
I stood frozen, "Why are you acting up...because I am being nice?"
I couldn't answer, "What does it matter if you are being nice?" I shouted back.
I said and strode into the room, he ran after me and dragged me out.
"Do you like the naughty me, the cold me or this side of me.?"
"Haven't you always wanted me to be more understanding?." he asked hoping I'd understand him, but it made me even more mad.
But why was that? "You don't need to be nice to me or act out of your line for me, am not worth it...thanks for not killing me." I said and walked away angrily.
But he stopped me, "I saw you with that girl, Lucy ... .does she know you are living with me?"
I turned, "What are you scheming at?" my voice pierced. I never thought we would fight seeing him again.
I didn't want to be mad at him anymore, if only he could give me a kiss...I won't be mad anymore. I thought, staring at his lips, and how he was trying his best to get me to eat with him.
"I just want you to eat with me, he said." Standing up. His broad shoulder towering over me.
He held my face in his palm, gently he leaned in and kissed me.
My eyes widened in shock, "What are you doing?" I shouted.
Subconsciously I tried to slap him, but he held my hand mid way. He leaned in again.
But I ran to the seat. He smirked. My face turned red. I could never tell what was on his mind.
I immediately refused the food. "I may be tired but I never eat take out." I said, staring at his face.
He didn't say a thing, he glared at me. His face was cold and menacing, I feared him of course but I know for sure that he won't hurt me but why won't he?
I only mentioned it casually, why did he take it so seriously? I wondered
I cleared my throat, "I mean I will..." he walked into the kitchen with heavy steps. He turned the whole food into bowls and plates. "Seat." He muttered calmly but that was commanding.
"Why are you nice all of a sudden.?" I asked finally, but he didn't say a thing. "Seat." He whispered again.
Not wanting to provoke the thug, I sat down. The eating was quiet and cold. In a second, he stood up and walked into the room.
I knew he wanted to take a shower.
He did that every time we were done with every meal.
He stopped sleeping on the couch and never allowed me to sleep there either. It felt weird sharing bed with a stranger I have grown fond of. We barely talked but his presence in my life was something I couldn't understand.
I waited for his arrival, I didn't have his contact, but he always got his way to me. There was never a time he never returned.
As soon as I was done eating, I cleaned the whole place and went to the bedroom. I knocked but he didn't respond. I think he did that on purpose but for what reason? Even when he's naked, he would never say a thing but would allow me to walk in on him naked. He had a nice built body though.
I entered the room, 'gosh', he turned his back. Omg...it was to kill for.
As soon as he stepped out, I couldn't take my eyes off him.
His dark hair relaxed on his forehead, droplets slid down his sharp jaw.
His Adam apple moved as he swallowed. His eyes darted around.
I guess he was looking for something.
Looking at his broad shoulders
My eyes followed the water that ran down his abs.
I gulped down my saliva.
My breath became hot and eruptive.
His abs down to his abdomen, I couldn't help but salivate. Goodness, "Can you stop eating me with your eyes.?" He said irritated.
Startled and ashamed, I ran to the bathroom. "The pictures of his naked body began playing in my head.
I shook my head trying to get a grip of myself. Was I lusting after him? Or was I crushing on him? I couldn't tell but I was drawn to him somehow. Was it lust or crush?
I had no answers to that question.
Confused in thoughts
"What had Jude done to me?" I wondered.
Slowly entered the shower. It was uncomfortable dressing when he was inside, most of the time he leaves the room but sometimes he pretends as if I wasn't human.
He laid down on his side of the bed. With my shorts, I walked into the bed, his face facing mine. He gulped down his saliva and turned his face to the other side. A smile creeped on his face but why was that?. My heartbeat quickening.
He turned his back, moving towards me. "yo you want me?." he whispered.
My breath hitches, "What do yo...you mean?." My voice quivered.
He crawled over, his breath brushing against my cheeks.
My breath froze, "What did you say?" I panicked. A smile creeped on his face. He leaned closer, our faces inch apart.
My heart rose and fell intermediately. Gosh
He smirked and said, "Weren't you craving my body?"
I couldn't think or process any thought at that very moment. I stayed quiet. As if I was giving him a go ahead answer.
He removed the quilt covering us...my long legs in view. He stared at my legs.
I hurried up, "What do you want to do?" my face twisted in fear. Uncertain of what he would do next. Yes I admit he was damn good looking and his body? Oh no it can't just be described, It just as it is.
I ran from the bed, my tense hand grabbing onto the doorknobs.
I didn't know why but he started laughing loudly.
This guy was good and playing with me, he did that on purpose. I frowned.
"Why are you running away?...Am not interested in your tiny body, you could die under me." He said shamelessly.
I couldn't shake off the feelings that he was teasing and testing me.
But I have long fallen for this man.
I stood there not knowing if to go back into the bed or leave the room, but one thing was certain. He would never allow me to leave the room.
Gently I walked into the bed, I guess he was already asleep. I quietly covered myself with the quilt, looking at his firm chest, his throat, his captivating lips, he was the true definition of alluring dangerous temptation.
