Sienna – POV
I woke up in his strong arms again, smiling and feeling relieved with how last night turned out.
He didn't answer Clara's call - instead, he gave me all his attention, turned me in every position until I was sore and breathless.
"Tired?" he asked, eyes still closed, his sexy morning voice turning me on all over again.
"Yes... thanks to you," I murmured, as he pulled me closer.
He smirked. I stared at his diamond earring - that signature bad boy energy, paired with his tattoos.
Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if he added my name to one of those tats.
"You hungry?" he asked, this time opening his eyes.
"Mmm, yes," I replied, sitting up.
My phone started ringing. Kate.
Not answering. My best friend would definitely want details - and I wasn't about to spill with Nic right here.
"What, Clara?" Nic suddenly said on the phone, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Is that all?" he muttered after a pause, staring at me like I'd done something wrong.
I already knew that bitch was on the phone dragging my name. As expected.
He ended the call, stood up, and carried me straight into the bathroom.
⸻
Breakfast
He had my favorite dishes served - mashed potatoes, fries, pancakes, and tea.
The day had just begun, and Nic was already on king-level spoiling.
We hit a private spa, then went shopping. I bought everything I wanted - a Birkin, a new Louis Vuitton bag, a pair of Prada heels, and to top it off, the latest Van Cleef leg chain.
He told me to pick anything I wanted. Of course I didn't hold back - I didn't come here to play.
⸻
In His Maybach
He scrolled through an article on his phone while I watched him from across the seat.
"Nic?" I called.
"What's that, sweet?" he asked, eyes flicking up to meet mine.
"You want anything?"
"Yes..."
"What is it?"
"A pink Bugatti," I said, staring deep into his grey eyes.
"That all?"
I nodded.
"Consider it done, baby," he said, pressing a kiss to my cheek.
"Wait - really?" I squealed.
"Anything for you, Sienna," he murmured, kissing my lips.
Then his phone rang. His mom.
"Hey, Mum... I'll be back soon," he said, voice suddenly serious.
I could tell the trip was about to get cut short.
"What happened?" I asked as he ended the call.
"My dad... he was rushed to the hospital. He collapsed."
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry."
"It's fine. We'll be heading back soon."
Just like that, he'd shut down again. Back into that cold, quiet shell.
⸻
Later That Evening
I sat on my luxurious couch, Ann's head resting on my lap as we watched a movie.
But I couldn't focus. My thoughts were with Nic.
After we got back, he had his driver drop me off at my penthouse.
Then Ann called and said she was coming over for the weekend.
I'd been calling him ever since. Still no answer.
Then Kelvin called again.
"Hey, Sienna - wassup? I just saw Mr. Steele at the hospital. I was visiting my mum... Is everything okay? Did the business go well?" he asked, sounding concerned.
"Yeah. He had something urgent come up, but the meeting went fine."
"That's good to hear. Um... are you free? Maybe we could go out? Like... a date?"
I needed to clear my head.
"Yeah, sure."
"I'll text you the place!" he said, sounding like he just hit the jackpot.
"Okay," I replied, ending the call.
⸻
I walked into my closet and picked out a cargo skirt and a black crop top, paired with my favorite black heels.
I always felt elegant in heels - like I owned every room I entered.
A little makeup to complete the look.
"Where to, sissy?" Ann asked.
"Just out with a friend. I'll be back soon," I said, kissing her forehead.
"And try not to burn down my new place."
"Yes ma'am," she grinned.
Ann's always been the homely one - cooking, baking, and playing mum.
⸻
Outside the Café
"You look good today," Kelvin said as I slid into his car parked outside a coffee shop.
"So what, I don't look good every other day?" I teased.
"No! I mean, you always look good. You're glowing today."
"Thanks," I said, as he pulled out of the lot.
He took me to a classy French restaurant - strictly French cuisine.
We placed our orders, but honestly, I had no appetite.
"You okay?" Kelvin asked, gently taking my hand.
"Yeah. Just tired from the trip."
Then I felt it - that stare.
I looked up to see a man in all black, standing in the corner with his eyes fixed on me.
And then it hit me: Dominic Steele had someone watching me.
"Shit," I muttered.
"Um, Kel - I have to go."
"Is something wrong?"
"No, I just got a text from my sister. I'll see you at the office."
I got up quickly, but before I could walk off, Kelvin pulled me into a hug - not helping at all.
"Take care of yourself, Sienna."
I smiled weakly and walked out of the restaurant - only to come face-to-face with Clara.
Great. Just my luck.
⸻
"You whore! How dare you fuck my fiancé?!" she snapped, storming toward me.
I smirked.
"Did I?" I said sweetly. "Or is he just addicted to my coochie?"
She looked around, clearly fighting the urge to slap me - but this was a public space, and she didn't have the guts.
"Stay the fuck away from Nic, or else-"
"Or else what, Clara?" I cut her off. "Maybe you should get a taste of your own medicine, bitch. No snitching now."
I brushed past her shoulder, grinning.
She hadn't seen anything yet.
I was just getting started.
Sienna – POV
It's been a week, and I haven't heard from Nic.
He just... disappeared.
Last I heard, he was in Greece with his family. I've been going to the office most days, sitting in his chair - letting memories swallow me whole.
Memories of him bending me over his desk...
His hands all over my bare skin...
The way he'd talk to me like I was the only woman in the world.
The way he looked at me like I was more than just a distraction.
But I guess I wasn't.
If I mattered to him - even a little - he would've called.
Or texted.
Or something.
But no. I'm just the girl he bends over a desk when he's bored. A plaything. A secret.
Will I keep letting this happen?
Then suddenly, the large TV screen lights up in the office. It's a breaking news headline:
DOMINIC STEELE AND CLARA WOLFE'S ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED.
Wedding set for the end of the month.
I froze.
I stared at the screen like the world had just ended.
Yes, I knewClara was his fiancée - but this?
Marriage?
A wedding date?
He agreedto this?
I thought he didn't even likeClara.
I thought-
Tears streamed down my face.
My phone rang. Kate.
"Hey, babe... are you okay?" she asked softly. She'd clearly seen the news too.
"I'm... I'm not..." I broke down, sobbing.
"Where are you?"
"The office."
"Stay there. I'm coming to get you."
I nodded and hung up.
This hurt. More than I could explain.
But I wasn't supposed to feel this way. I was just the secret. The backup. A woman with no real value in his life.
His future wife was Clara.
But I, stupidly, fell for him.
I wasn't supposed to.
It wasn't meant to be more than pleasure.
⸻
In Kate's Car
"Hey... you know you can talk to me," Kate said, gently touching my hand. "You don't always have to be the strong one."
"I'm just... stupid," I whispered as tears fell again.
"No, you're not. Don't say that. Fuck Clara. Fuck Nic. We're gonna party our asses off tonight. Shake our booties like we never did before," she said with a small grin. "Maybe you'll meet someone new."
I chuckled a little, wiping my face.
Kate was my soul sister - the one person who truly saw me.
Unlike most of these rich girls who act like I don't belong in their world, Kate had always accepted me like family.
Every second with her is a blessing.
She's had her fair share of heartbreaks, too. Her last relationship ended when she caught the guy doing 69 with another girl in their bed. She beat the girl to a pulp and spent the weekend in jail before her father bailed her out.
She's been done with men since then - just out here catching cruise when she wants to.
⸻
Nic – POV
I sat in the VIP booth of the club, taking another puff of weed.
Andrew was next to me, smacking a stripper's ass while whispering god-knows-what in her ear.
It's been a week since I left Sienna.
My dad's still recovering in the hospital.
Meanwhile, my mom keeps pressuring me to get married - have grandkids so my father can meet them before he dies.
I miss her.
Her smile, her laugh, her touch.
The way she made me forget about everything - even the chaos in my own damn mind.
But I can't face her right now. Not like this.
Not in my right mind.
I'm afraid I might say or do something... wrong.
"Hey man... isn't that your girl?" Andrew said suddenly, pointing down toward the bar.
And there she was.
Sienna.
Standing at the bar with Kate, wearing the tiniest black dress that barely covered her thick ass. Her thighs were out for everyone to see.
Some guy walked up to her, sliding an arm around her waist and whispering in her ear.
She smiled. Then pushed him off gently.
"Damn... she's hot. And her friend? What's her name?" Andrew asked.
I dropped my cigarette into the ashtray and stood up.
"Easy, lover boy," he teased.
I stormed down the stairs.
What the fuck does she think she's doing here?
⸻
Sienna – POV
"Girl, you need to loosen up," Kate said, handing me another shot.
I downed it quickly.
I glanced around the club. Dark lights. The smell of weed and expensive cologne in the air. A couple making out against the wall.
"Let's dance!" Kate said, pulling me into the crowd.
We moved to the beat, hips swaying.
Then I felt it - a familiar hand wrap around my waist. That cologne. That warmth.
Those hands that once made me feel safe.
I turned.
And there he was.
Nic.
Looking at me like it'd been years - not days. My eyes filled with tears.
I pushed him away, turning to leave the club - but he grabbed me.
Before I could react, he threw me over his shoulder.
"Put me down, Nic!" I yelled as he walked out toward his black SUV.
He tossed me into the passenger seat and locked the door.
I tried the handle. It wouldn't budge.
He slid into the driver's seat and pulled off - still not saying a word.
⸻
Minutes Later
We drove through a long, private driveway that led to a massive black-and-white mansion.
Security guards dressed in black stood at the gate, holding rifles.
He brought me... to his private home?
He glanced at me. I stared back.
We didn't need to speak - I could already hear his thoughts.
A butler opened the door for me.
"Welcome home, Mr. Steele," the older man said with a nod to both of us.
I stepped out, taking in the luxury.
There was a giant fountain in the middle of the driveway. Everything screamed money.
Nic took my hand and pulled me gently inside.
The interiors were a dream - bold, sleek, masculine. Dark marble floors. Velvet drapes. Gold and black finishings.
He dragged me into a room and slammed the door shut.
The lights dimmed automatically, revealing a massive, moody bedroom.
⸻
"What the hell am I doing here?" I said, folding my arms as I stood by the door.
"What were you doing at that club dressed like that?" he snapped, walking toward me.
"What part of I own you don't you understand, Sienna?"
His eyes burned with anger.
I swallowed hard but didn't show fear.
"You own me? But you left me in the dark. No messages. No calls. What kind of ownership is that?" I shot back, stepping toward him.
"What did I tell you about staying away from Kelvin? Why would you disobey me and go to that restaurant with him?"
"Nic, don't-"
He didn't let me finish.
He slammed his lips on mine, his hands yanking at my dress - tearing it apart.
"Nic, stop-"
He didn't listen.
He lifted me and threw me onto the massive king-sized bed, towering over me.
"You're mine, Sienna," he growled against my neck.
"Mine to have. Mine to fuck. No one else touches you."
As his hands roamed my body, I lay there beneath him - silent.
Tears welled in my eyes, but I didn't let them fall.
Because this was my reality.
I was nothing more than the woman he used to satisfy his cravings.
Nothing more.
