Chapter 2

"Dannie," she said as she leaned in.

"Dannie. He said, "I'm Carl." the majority of people used fictitious identities, but he did not. Carl made his way up to her and took a seat next to her. He then proceeded to flirt with her by asking what she did and where she was from. Carl enjoyed the fact that Dannie didn't quiz him on anything.

Dannie drained her glass in 10 min. "Are you up for finishing... in my room?" She had a wicked grin on her face. Andres was staying at a five-star hotel in the heart of Nevada's business district, which made it easy for him to have one-night encounters and flings.

Carl drank his drink and paid for it before closing the account.

He was escorted out the door by Dannie. Carl was congratulated by Tattoo Guy with a thumbs up and a wink as he walked past.

As soon as the elevator doors were shut, the girl grabbed him and pushed her breasts on him while pulling him into the wall. Just as she was about to kiss him, he pulled her away and kissed the chest, the neck, and the jawline of the man she was kissing.

He gave a head shake and let out a breath.

It seemed as if she was confused. She expressed her displeasure by saying, "I thought you wanted to join me."

He grabbed hold of her hips and pulled her towards himself. "I'm...go let's up to your room together. Who knows who's checking things out?

The doors of the elevator opened, and Dannie gave him a nod before leading him along the hallway. She gurgled, "Right in front of you!"

Carl walked around and observed the scenery from the back. Dannie was charming, gorgeous, and eager all at the same time. He speculated that she was a nighttime wildcat as well.

"Yes?" The grin returned to her lips. ", don't be so slow!" He took a stop. " I'm sorry, but I just can't."

Her dissatisfaction began to disintegrate. "What? "

"I'm sorry, but I have to leave early tomorrow for a business."

"At first I thought you were playing around, and then..."

As he ran his fingers over her hair, he complimented her beauty. I'm... I can't now, okay?" She was giving him a peck on the cheek. "Who knows? Maybe our paths will intersect." He then proceeded to the elevators, leaving her there in the hallway.

He got the elevator without having to wait, which made him happy. As the doors closed, he fell and banged his head. For the first time in what seemed like months, he had some extra time, free of his commitments as Carl and as CEO of a massive company, but he was unable to finalize the deal. Carl was never one to turn down beautiful women. He ought to have Dannie on her back and causing her to have her first orgasm by this point.

The door slammed into him once again. It had been much too long since he'd gone to bed with a beautiful woman. However, coming close to her was like being doused with ice cold water, and his body longed the smooth curves and pleasant smells of a woman.

This was his fourth effort in the previous months, and despite the fact that he'd gotten closer each time, he was ultimately unsuccessful. Something indicated to him that those two women were mistaken. If he did not have any Lycan business or a job, he would go insane. He was nearly completely worn out from his work, meetings, exercising, and fighting with his Lycan security unit.

Carl considered going back to Dannie and faking a change of heart, but in the end, he decided against it. He need oxygen. He exited the building via the front doors rather than going back to the garage to get his car and bodyguard.

Because the structure was situated on a side street, there was much less foot traffic, especially at night. He was standing on the paved area of the street and staring up at the hazy Nevada sky. The springtime was rather cold. The fact that he was a lycan caused his body temperature to rise, which made it almost impossible for the cold to affect him.

The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, which served as an alarm. After turning around, he spotted Dannie there.

She referred to herself as "Carl." "I had hoped that you would remain."

He said, "I was gasping for oxygen."

"Yes, there was," she said with a grin that was directed away from her eyes. "Go to sleep!"

"What?"

He was engulfed in a cloud of smoky darkness. His last recollection was of Dannie's malicious smirk.

As she leaned back in her chair and exhaled a long, weary sigh, Ellen Brown massaged her eyes and gave a long, drawn-out sigh. Another evening had passed, and she could make out the sounds of the kitchen staff finishing up outside, washing and cleaning as they went along to ensure that everything was pristine.

In the meanwhile, she had just completed reading the ebooks.

Another miserable month, she moaned to herself as she averted her gaze from the spreadsheet that was shown on her computer screen.

Her responsibility as manager and co-owner of Martin's Restaurant included ensuring that all of the records were accurate and in balance. Even though they weren't going bankrupt, their earnings had been falling for the sixth month in a row, and this month they only just about managed to break even.

She was relieved to hear that everyone will be compensated, she thought. She had agreed to accept a pay reduction in order to guarantee that all of the workers would get at least their full income for the month, but it was clear that the wait staff was unhappy with the lack of opportunities to earn tips.

"Yo, Ellen!" Rio, the eldest of her younger brothers and a co-head chef, showed up at her office unexpectedly. "I'm going to make my way home.

"And so is Doris," he said, referring to their other half-brother who was also there.

When she stated the name of Doris's twin sister, Katie, the woman exclaimed, "And Katie?" while crossing her arms over her chest.

"In what direction do you believe he's going?"

He plans to stay out at the club with his pals till the wee hours of the morning. Please relay the message that I advised him to have a lot of water before going to bed!

A voice cried out "Yes, yes!" "Yes, yes!" "See you Tuesday, Ellen!" Katie yelled just as the rear door was abruptly shutting and slamming shut.

Ellen gave a little nod in response. "That young man!"

Rio let out a giggle. Ellen, come on, give the guy some slack. Because he is still so young and does not have any obligations,?"

Ellen let out a sigh as she said, "I know, I know." "I just really hope that he stays clear of any danger."

Chapter 3

Rio sat down in front of his sister's desk and greeted his sibling by saying, "You know him." When we had to bail him out the previous time, it was because he got into a fight while trying to defend a female. He has a soft spot for the ladies and can't tolerate it when they get into mischief.

She smiled and said with a wry expression, "And the ladies definitely do adore him back." Her middle brother was a genuine ladies' man, which is why Brown's found him to be the ideal host for their establishment. Katie was able to persuade even the elderly patrons to purchase the night's specials, just as well as he was able to woo the younger customers and get them to take down their trousers. He had a tall, toned frame, golden blonde hair, chocolate brown eyes, made no lady able to resist his attractive face. "All I want is for him to become an adult. Like Doris." Despite the fact that they looked exactly same, Katie's twin brother Doris was a whole polar opposite of him. Although he would pitch in to help out in the kitchen on particularly hectic evenings, he much preferred to spend his leisure time lounging about the house and tinkering on his computer.

"It's common knowledge that Doris is your favorite!" Rio joked.

"No, he isn't!" Ellen hurled a crumpled up post-it note in his direction. She laughed and said, "I detest each and every one of you equally!"

Ellen never took her place as the eldest sister for granted, despite the challenges she faced growing up with four younger brothers.

As a youngster, Doris had suffered from crippling anxiety and social awkwardness, and she was often eclipsed by her sibling who was more gregarious and outgoing.

Having said that, she made up for it by giving him a great deal of attention.

She went so far as to persuade him to get a degree in information technology at a university. Just this past year, he received his bachelor's degree from college, making him the first member of his family to achieve this accomplishment.

Ellen was over the moon with pride for her husband. Although he was employed at the time by a new company in Sun City, he continued to volunteer his time at the restaurant out of devotion.

Rio gave the television a quick glance before turning his attention back to his sister. His eyes, which were different colors because of a genetic anomaly in their family and which he and Ellen both inherited, seemed anxious. One of his eyes was azure, while the other was green. Another month that wasn't so great, huh?

She gave a little nod in response. "

"Is it really that bad?"

"Bad enough to worry about," she said shamefully.

"Ellen, that we need to begin using the internet in order to bring in more people! Create a social media, and do all the other things! "Doris may be of assistance!"

Ellen said that Doris has a lot going on and that he has to focus on his own life. "Also, the students will be returning to campus very soon; thus, there is no need for us to promote or go online! People are already familiar with us, and in order to maintain that, we will continue to provide delicious meals, just as Ma and Kelly did in the past."

Rio flailed his fists in the air. "Ellen, we just cannot continue to live in the past! Yes, Ma and Kelly were successful in establishing Brown's and growing their business all those years ago. On the other hand, we must move it into the future! We'll receive some reviews and-"

"Basta! I don't want to discuss this topic right now!" She slapped her hand down on the table with full force.

Her brother let out a sigh, shrugged his shoulders, and then looked at the spreadsheet that was shown on the computer.

"I am so sorry, Rio..."

She sighed and leaned back in her chair as she said, "I'm simply concerned." "Fine. Discuss the matter with Doris, but only if he has the time. It is possible to get one of those Facethingys.

Rio rephrased the question as "Facebook."

She pushed her tongue out and said, "Yes, Facebook." "Whatever. You all put some effort into it."

"Thanks, Ellen!" He bent down and gave her a peck on the cheek "Oh, and just so you know, my cousin Cater gave me a call once again."

She questioned in a voice tinged with irritation, "What is it now?"

He never stops complaining that Darren Woods is trespassing on his property and stealing his chickens.

"And why should this be an issue for me?"

According to him, this time he was able to capture Rickey in his lycan form on video.

"Ouch!" Ellen let out a furious grunt. She not only served as the head of the family, but she also served as head for the all of the Lycan clan in Sun Rock.

Due to the fact that there weren't too many of them and the most of them were linked to her, there wasn't much to do other than resolve little disagreements like this one. Naturally, anytime there was an issue, she was obligated to provide "incident reports" to the Lycan High Council. This was a must.

After all, they could not let anybody find out about their little secret. She pondered how many of the reports the council really read and wondered whether they were as fed up with her relatives as she was. She also pondered how many of the reports the council truly read. "All right, all right, I'll take care of it tomorrow. Now go," she shooed him away. You've been on your feet since three, so you should probably go home and relax for a while.

He laughed and said, "Yes, Darian," as he dove to avoid another flying item and made his way toward the exit.

Ellen heaved another sigh, reclined further in the worn leather chair she was sitting in, and turned her attention to the two paintings that were hung on the wall to her right. The first was a stunning elderly lady with silver hair, and the second was a woman of middle age who looked just like the first. Both possessed the same distinguishing characteristics, including thick, wavy hair, dark olive complexion, an elliptical face shape, thick, arched brows, and, of course, the shocking mismatch of bright color eyes.

Both also had the same facial shape.

Ellen recognized that she herself was a third doppelganger for the other two ladies, despite the fact that she had always believed that her looks weren't as striking and that her hair was more wavy and unmanageable. She remembered that her mother, in particular, had a great deal of attractiveness, and she recalled how many guys would want to date her while she was single and flirt with her. Her mother was extremely attractive. She then expressed her sadness by saying, "Oh Ma, and Kelly, I miss you both.

Chapter 4

After closing the restaurant for the night, Ellen climbed into her rusty old Motorbike and began the drive back to her residence.

She just needed 15 minutes to travel there from her home, which was situated in close proximity to the eatery.

The town of Yorkshire, Sun Rock was a prototypical example of a tiny college town, and it was typically teeming with life during the academic year. Despite this, the town was noticeably quieter than usual since it was Spring Break.

Ellen had been working at the restaurant since she was fifteen years old and had basically grown up at Brown's, either playing in the office by her mother or grandmother's feet or hanging around the kitchen and pantry from the time she could walk.

As a result, she was completely familiar with the route home from the restaurant.

Follow Downtown for almost two miles, pass through the historic mill, and then pull into the driveway of the house where she spent her youth.

She and her brothers still inhabited the family's traditional style home, which had been passed down through the generations from her grandmother to her mother to her and her brothers. Rio, Katie, and Doris had moved out quite some time ago, opting to have their own bachelor pads; however, their youngest child, Kent or Joan, was still living with her at home while he completed his master of science at NJU, which was located nearby.

However, he was spending the night away from home at the home of a friend in order to prepare for an exam. He would be the second Brown in history to graduate from college, and while Doris was endowed with a natural brilliance, Joan was incredibly intelligent and diligent, and he was dead set on attending Yale as soon as he finished his undergraduate degree, after which he would practice law.

As Ellen got closer to the driveway, she put the vehicle into park and slowed down. The moment she pulled in and her home came into view, she abruptly on the brakes and came to a stop. She yelled out, as a person suddenly materialized out of nowhere, ricocheted off the top of her automobile, and slid to the ground below.

She jumped out of her vehicle and ran towards the head of the line. She looked down and saw a gigantic guy slouched over on the ground. As she got closer, she noticed the man was completely nude.

She took a whiff of the atmosphere. "Lycan!" she shrieked out loud in shock.

She quickly reached for her handbag, extracted her phone, and began dialing Rio's number. It did not send her call to voicemail immediately; rather, it rang a few times before doing so. "Rio! Where are you right now? Please make your way over to the home right now! I believe... She yelled at the top of her lungs, her voice trembling, "I ran over a Lycan, and I believe I murdered him!"

Her breath caught as she heard a deep sigh. "Wait a minute, I believe he's still alive! But anyway. I'll get right back to you! She hurried back to the guy, tossing her phone into her handbag .

Stranger, a voice from deep within her murmured. Her typically stoic inner wolf let out a low growl when confronted with the strange individual.

At least, according to her mother and grandmother, she had a much closer connection to her Lycan ancestry while she held the position of Carl within her tribe. After all, it was a component of who she was. She has, throughout the course of her life, not only learned to tame the she-wolf, but she has also learnt to listen to it as if it were a second set of instincts.

She got down on her knees and examined the figure that was lying on the ground. She took another breath in an effort to determine the nature of the odor. A trip to the boardwalk is comparable to having tangerine juice, kosher salt, sweets, and fried bread. She stood there, dumbfounded, as the vision that the odor conjured up for her seemed almost real, with the roar of the ocean in her ear. She mused that it was strange.

"Yum?" That response had never been seen from her wolf in the past.

She put her hand on him in an effort to rouse him up by jolting him. After shifting back from Lycan form, he was normal temperature and heated, which explained why he was in his human form. She felt tingles of heat go through her own body as a result of touching his bare flesh, and she almost sprang back in astonishment.

Despite this, she maintained her grip on his shoulder and continued to shake and squeeze him.

"Hey.you! She yelled, "Mister!" at him. "Wake up! What exactly are you doing in this room? You aren't one of us, are you? This area is considered to be part of Sun Rock! She turned him over so that he was lying on his back. Even if he didn't get any medical assistance, the fact that he was a Lycan would cause his body to recover far more quickly.

When she finally saw his face, she bit her tongue and tried her best not to let out a gasp. She could see that the Lycan had black hair, high cheekbones, a straight nose, and seductive lips from where she was standing. He was really gorgeous. His chest was covered in a soft Doris of black hair, and there was a line going down his tight six-pack, tempting to what lay below. His chest was beautifully defined and muscular. Ellen became self-conscious and turned her head aside, but not before she stole a quick peek at his imposing physique. He let out one more sigh as his eyelids momentarily opened, exposing his eyes to be a brilliant greenish tint.

"Hey! Are you awake?" she inquired.
