Rosalie was a vampire while Kaiden was a powerful hybrid, soon to be announced as the Alpha of The Dark Mondo Pack and the King of the entire Land.

Their relationship was a huge issue, if anybody were to find out about them, Rosalie was going to be executed for manipulating the alpha to have a forbidden relationship with her. Vampires like Rosalie were considered less respected. Werewolves attained the top spot in the hierarchy, vampires were the second ones, while humans were the least and the last in the hierarchy.

The witches were the banished creatures; witchcraft was banned in every land. If any witch was caught practicing magic, they would be crucified in front of everyone as a lesson.

"How long are you going to hide me from your family?" sadness could be seen in Rosalie's eyes as she stared at the handsome face of Kaiden. He was a powerful hybrid, the only second Hybrid to ever exist after his father.

"Just let me be declared as the alpha king, then I'll do something about it," Kaiden had his eyes fixated at the perfect, round brea*ts of Rosalie. She truly was an emblem of beauty. He ran his hand on her stomach, reaching the brea*t, and gently rubbing the back of his hand to the roundness of her brea*t while his palm was on her stomach.

"And then what? Don't you think your pack will object that you are trying to mate with someone who can't give you an heir?" Rosalie felt his hand being touched against her skin, her body felt a sudden wave of current running through her whole existence.

"We will think about it---," he bowed his face down and gently kissed her brea*t, "when it's a right time, why to ruin our night now?" he lifted his face and finished his sentence while keeping his eyes on her tight nip*le.

"Kaiden! Why can't we use that spell that could bring life inside my lifeless vampire body and t---," her mood swiftly brightened up as she exclaimed in excitement, but her words were left in her mouth when Kaiden removed his hand from her brea*t and laid straight, facing the ceiling this time.

"Rosalie! You know you are suggesting that I break the biggest rule?" the harshness in his tone shocked her, even when she knew what would be the cost of not only stealing the book of magic's but performing a ritual, she demanded it.

Vampires couldn't reproduce, that was the only reason they were under the werewolves in the hierarchy.

"We can't pay a little price for our love? I thought everything was fair in love and war," Rosalie lifted her body up and turned to Kaiden, laying on her left side, she watched his face. Kaiden froze for a few seconds, then continued kissing her with even more lust. He tried all sorts of erotic ways to rub her core, and it looked like his mind wasn't even on her proposal.

"Kaiden! Please listen to me." Rosalie pushed Kaiden away a little,and he finally stopped all his actions,looking at her with his serious eyes. Rosalie thought he had actually considered about what she just said, she encouraged him,"That is the only way to be together or your kind will punish my kind if anybody saw me with a future hybrid alpha king," Rosalie craved for Kaiden to marry her one day, to make her his wife and give her respect, but she also dreamed of giving him an heir, a new Hybrid king to carry on his bloodline.

Sadly, there was only one way for a vampire to carry a child, and the solution was in the book of magic, that the father of Kaiden, the present Alpha king had kept it in high protection to make sure nobody gets their hands on the book.

She was so engrossed in her own thoughts that she didn't notice Kaiden's face getting gloomy.

"Rosalie, I think it's late, you should leave before anyone finds you here with me," Kaiden got up from the bed and pulled up his pant tiredly. He knew Rosalie was watching him in disappointment. Initially, he wanted her to spend the night with him but the moment she brought up the books of magic, Kaiden felt it was better that they stay apart for the night.

"Good Night!" her voice had a hint of pain and agony as she murmured under her breath and marched towards the window. She cracked the window open and jumped out of it, only to land on her feet and bend down. She then straightened her back and tilted her head back to stare at the image of Kaiden, who was watching her leave from his window.

It's hard for Rosalie to express how she was feeling now. She she smiled wryly and soon disappeared into the woods.

Kaiden felt the crosswind brushing against his naked chest, he heaved a sigh of agony, his eyes at the empty spot where once his beloved Rosalie stood.

"Trust me, Rosalie. I'll find the way after I become the real Alpha."

The Hawk Castle was engulfed in silence, the only noise echoing through the beautiful dining room was the utensils being banged together.

Lord Rodriguez, who was perched on the high-backed chair, was offered the first meat plate by the serving boy.

The silence was depressing, the ignorant stepbrothers, and the hatred carrying luna's, there was no peace found in eating together.

"Father!" Kaiden, who was making the most noise while banging the spoon against his plate, mumbled to get his father's attention, "Where are those TV's?" he had a frown over his forehead. He didn't like the fact that his father had ordered to keep such a great invention away from the Nobility to cherish them.

"Those were invented by the Peasant humans; why would you want to be dependent on something that was made by the peasants?" The Alpha King had a completely different perspective over life and the world than his son.

From what he remembers, the humans when finding out about supernatural beings, their hunters used modern technology to capture them, torture them, and to perform many torturous experiments on them.

The wolves and vampires worked together to get the world over from the humans and rearrange the manner of living. They hide all the inventions and forbade them from being used, hence they brought the medieval way of living back.

"Wouldn't it be fun that we get to enjoy their luxuries while they droll over us?" Kaiden didn't care about anything. To him, the most important thing was power, the throne, and his entertainment didn't matter the source if his family got all of it.

"No! You have asked about it countless times and I have said no to that, I don't want to ever hear about it again," Lord Rodriguez had to raise his tone a little so that his son, the future alpha king understands it better.

"As a future Alpha, I believe it doesn't suit you to have so much desire for the human-made luxuries," Beatrice, spoke with her eyes drenched in vengeance. All she ever desired now was her son, the eldest son of the alpha king, Gideon to win the throne.

"I am right here to teach my son what's better for him, and God had blessed him with a strong alpha father to make sure he doesn't steer off the right path," Monica responded almost immediately, she was proud of being an accepted Luna.

The 37-year-old Queen Monica was an emblem of beauty. Although she didn't share royal blood like the rest of the members, she had gained enough power to shut down anyone who had ever questioned her background.

"Mother didn't mean t---," As Gideon saw his mother's raging, he wanted to make peace but was swiftly shut down by the harsh glares of Monica, who was too proud of replacing Beatrice.

"Speak when you are asked to," Monica's harsh words made Beatrice watch Lord Rodriguez's face in hopes of some response from him, but he simply did not care.

How was he letting Monica get away with disrespecting his first-ever born? That mystery was beyond Beatrice.

"Mother!" Kaiden, who had been silent so far, stared at his mother in disbelief, "Brother was only trying to bring peace to the table," Kaiden tried to defend his brother but in their mothers' eyes, he only wanted to look nice in front of his father.

The dinner soon ended and they were escorted to their rooms.

"Why do you have to teach Kaiden anything. He is not your problem!" Beatrice started to complain about her son as soon as they came back to the chamber.

Gideon didn't like the treatment his mother had received in previous years. It was unfair to blame all to his mother for his father turned into a hybrid.

That was not her fault and even more his mother was the one who stayed with his father and helped him during his transitions. However the first thing his father did after getting a good hold over the power was to find himself a new mate.

Gideon didn't understand his father's choice, but there's nothing he can do to change.

"Lord Rodriguez needs to know the new alpha doesn't even care about the rules that his father had made," Beatrice rolled her eyes, letting the personal maid to loosen the corset from her back.

"You don't need to do this, mother, Kaiden is a very responsible a--," Gideon too wanted to defend back his brother like Kaiden did at the dining table.

He paused once his mother's harsh glares warned him to not show an affection to his brother.

Obviously, his position was not similar to Kaiden's, he was more like a rejected son who had to walk around eggshells to not offend anyone. He felt terrible.

"I'll go take a run now," Gideon had to take his mind off things, and the best way to do that was to run up to Ophelia's house and stay outside the whole night in hopes of catching a glimpse of her through the windows.

"Make sure you return back soon; I don't admire your activities these days," Beatrice wasn't inattentive to her son's interests these days, but she still has to discover the true reason behind his son's habits.

"Don't fret, nothing wrong is going on. Good night!" Gideon walked out of the room and left the castle.

Things were not so well for Monica and her son, Kaiden, either.

"Why did you have to bring it up again?" she slammed the goblet she was drinking from on the floor and raised her tone at her son, who was sitting on the chesterfield, his one leg over the other and rocking his foot very ignorantly.

"Stop!" she yelled at her maid, who was struggling really hard with taking off the jewelry from Lady Monica's beautiful neck as Monica was dancing around throwing the goblets and using her gestures aggressively.

"I don't understand father's obsession with medieval times. The modern world was so much better than the dull world we are living in now," Kaiden wanted to rule the world but the modern one, this manner of living bored him. "You know ego is your biggest enemy, can someone tell that to father?" Kaiden had no shame in saying whatever he felt like saying.

"I could truly use a cellphone right now," he muttered under his breath, "How long could a person live like this? What's wrong with using humanly invented goods when we are literally making them to prepare our foods, clothes and do all these chores now? We are still dependent on them. They are still inventing for us, whether it be better crops or new foods to feast upon," He found hypocrisy in his father's statements, he thought the alpha king could do better by accepting the time and the inventions that could ease up their lives like before.

"Bring me the finest silk gown," Monica had calmed down now, she had a mating night with the alpha king, she couldn't wait to rub it against Beatrice's face in the morning.

"Don't you want to wear lingerie for father?" Kaiden had to go off-limits to grab his mother's attention. She ceased whatever she was doing and gasped at the words his son has used for her.

"You---," she muttered, picking up a pillow and shoving it in her son's face, "this is why we don't want those inventions back, look at you using foul language to your mother," she wasn't the lady like she was pretending to be. She would just sacrifice anything to please her mate, her king.

"I would love to watch some sexy she-wolves in lingeries," Kaiden sighed in exhaustion and that's when his eyes caught the sight of a very beautiful green emerald in a pendant.

A smile crept over his lips as his mind signaled this pendant would look so good around his gorgeous Rosalie's neck.

Just when his mother was busy getting ready to visit her lord's chamber, Kaiden sneaked the pendant into his pocket.

Kaiden had been waiting outside Rosalie's house and now it was 9 am, who had not met him after he had asked her to leave his castle a few nights ago.

He knew she was upset, so he had stolen his mother's emerald pendant to gift her.

He gently tapped his fingers on the window, making Rosalie's strong sense of hearing wake up and look in the direction of the window before her father does. Her eyes shone in surprise and fear to see the future alpha king in the woods, outside a vampire's house.

"I'll take a round outside," She excused her father, panicking at the sight of the future Alpha King outside her window.

"Make sure you remain in shelter," her father lazily advised and tracked back to his room.

Kaiden had pulled away from the window after watching Rosalie acknowledging his presence. She came outside the house, thanking mother nature for the shelter these trees were providing over her head to prevent her from burning her skin under the sun.

"Why are you here?" She narrowed her eyes, rushing at him, using her vampire strength and pushing him away from her. Had she applied the same force on any normal wolf, they would have landed miles back but Kaiden was a hybrid alpha, he didn't even flinch.

"What do you mean? I was missing you," He argued back, they were hiding behind a big tree from the eyes of the neighbor vampires.

"Oh! Or you were missing my body!" she was bitter about the fact that he had kicked her out right after they had se* with her.

"Rosalie, please don't say that. You know my feelings are beyond that, if se* was the only thing that mattered, I would have gotten it from any she-wolf with their full consent involved," Kaiden approached her again but she had turned her face to the side.

In her eyes, what he said meant nothing as they would not end up together even if they want to since the Lord had made it very clear in the rules that this relationship was forbidden.

"Rosalie!" he gently caressed her arm, "Just wait till my coronation, I'll slowly bring changes, trust me," He desperately wanted to make her his Queen, she was his true love, despite what he had been told about the Moon Goddess choosing a mate for him who would be a she-wolf, he knew what his heart craved.

"And what about me not being able to give you an heir?" She finally turned her face to look at him, there was love but mixed with hopelessness.

"I'll do something about that as well, you don't worry about it," He ran his hand down her arm and gently pressed her hand between his hands, "Trust me, okay?" he reassured her, not stealing his eyes to prove his commitment to her and their relationship.

"Really?" she was satisfied to hear those words from his lips.

"And! As an apology for my behavior from nights ago, I brought you a gift." He pulled the beautiful pendant out of his pocket, making Rosalie's eyes to grow bigger at the beauty of the gift he had brought for her.

"Oh My God! This is so beautiful," she gently held it in her hand and stared at it, admiring it.

She was wearing a black trousers and a black high-neck sweater, she topped the sweater with a black long overcoat, the usual attire for the vampires. While Kaiden had to wear the medieval dress code to please his father, which was a black tunic and black trousers to blend in with other members of the wolf packs and not stand out as royal. Although, it wasn't something modern, but the charming hybrid looked stunning in it.

"Nothing is more beautiful than you, my queen," as his lips uttered the precious words to Rosalie, she blossomed with happiness and satisfaction.

"I love you, Kaiden!" Rosalie bring him close and gently filled herself in his strong, muscular arms. It wasn't only Rosalie, every girl wanted to be Kaiden's Queen or lucky enough to lose virginity to him.

"I will go now and meet you again soon," Kaiden parted his ways after he had planted a kiss onto her forehead.

On the road, there were still some annoyances lingering in Kaiden's mind. He would probably experience many more times like today, you know, appease Rosalie, before he became the next Alpha King, but he had no other choice, he had to remain patient until the coronation came.

He needed to do something now to release the pressure, but... where he could go?

Suddenly, the figure of that bold girl popped into his mind, and Kaiden let out a light chuckle as he ran towards his destination.

The sky was clear that day, the bright day had arrived with many new challenges for humans. As the Hawk family prepared for a Royal tour of the parks, inns, and taverns and the humans had to work extra hard to please them.

Ophelia and her mother had been indulging hard in making sure things were perfect in the tavern they run. The dress code for all the humans, otherwise known as peasants, was fixed as well.

Emma and Ophelia wore a brown muslin underdress as they ran the tavern without any support and help from men.

"I hope the Alpha King doesn't decide to barge in here, I can't tolerate their bullsh**," Ophelia mumbled to her friend, Athena, who was a she-wolf.

Unlike others, Athena didn't agree with treating anyone like a peasant, she was a red-headed she-wolf with beautiful brown eyes, who was very gorgeous and also courageous.

"Well, you know they are like those demons, you think about them and they appear," Athena drank the bear from the metallic goblet, sitting a little away from the men.

As they had only done talking, the door flew open, revealing the spoilt Future Alpha King; Kaiden, along with his friends.

Emma and Ophelia never liked him, he was a mischievous one, always picking up fights when he drank too much.

Kaiden had changed into a noble attire, he was wearing a silk white tunic, white breaches, and a blue surcoat.

"Get out of my way," Everybody who saw him, hurriedly got up and bowed before him. They knew he was the one to be the alpha king in the future, and they knew well he wouldn't spare anyone who ever defied him.

Emma booked to them anxiously, making them comfortable around the wooden table on wooden chairs.

"Bring us food, and make sure it's cooked well," Kaiden raised his brow, watching Emma nodding obediently before his sight.

"Wait!" as Emma was about to leave, his voice stopped her in her steps, "Is there no women to entertain us?" his question made the wolf customers nod and cheer him up, "If there is none, bring us your daughters and sisters," Kaiden liked the attention he was getting.

Ophelia was watching him from afar, knew he wanted to pressurize Emma to hire ladies, who would please them.

"Did you hear me? I said, my friends here need entertainment," He raised his voice this time, the customers that were cheering him on went silent.

It didn't take them long to realize, the future Alpha wasn't in a pleasant mood.
