Chapter 6

~Sienna~

"Come in." I say as a knock sounds on my door.

"Hey, sea..." Nova squeals, flashing a dramatic smile as she steps inside.

My mouth falls open, watching her circle around my desk.

"I-l didn't expect to see you here." I blurt, swallowing hard. "I didn't know you visited your father. You never told me anything about his work."

She snorts, raises a brow and shrugs. "It's just once a while. And about the work-I wanted to surprise you." She beams.

I can't help but smile as she pulls me into a hug.

"You look good babe." Nova teases. "My executive secretary."

"I didn't know you'd be working directly under my father. I just told him you had a degree in real estate and he that's fine-he'd find something for you-"

"Wait-" I interrupts. "Your dad knew I was applying before I even came?"

Nova sighs, glancing side ways. "Yeah. But, I know you, Sienna. You're good. If I could help, why not? Beside, you were interviewed and you did great."

I swallow, gripping the pen in my hands tightly, I just can't wrap my head around it. He knew I was coming before I did and he's been pulling the strings all along.

"Sienna?" Nova calls, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Are you upset?"

"What?" I gulp. "No-never. Thank you for believing in me by the way." I joked lightly.

She laughs, looping her arm through mine. "Leave work for now. It's time for lunch. Come on-work isn't going anywhere."

"Okay, okay." I stand up, reaching for my bag.

"No, leave that. It's covered." She says and tugging me out of the office.

"I think I'm going to start wearing suit like you." Nova says running her hands over her bodycon dress. "You look so hot and powerful-like..." she flips her hair and winks.

My steps flatter for a second before matching her pace.

"Why are we going to your father's office? I thought we were going to lunch-"

"You'll see." She cuts in, punching the code without having to wait.

This can't be good, I know Nova means well but Norman's another story entirely.

The office is empty, and I sigh, relief washing over me, but only for a moment as Nova doesn't stop. She pulls me deeper into the room, opening one of the doors at the far end.

Inside sits Norman, his eyes locks on mine, lips twitching faintly. The hairs on the back of my neck rise, my stomach turns and I look away quickly.

Three others chairs sits round the wooden table, dishes neatly spread on it.

A private dining room, beautiful, elegant and small with a minibar along the wall. I don't notice any of it, all I want is an excuse to escape this diner, but that's like wishing for snow in summer.

Nova pulls out a chair for me and grabs one for herself.

"Mr. Garrison." I murmur, taking a sit.

His nostrils flare, eyes harden for a moment before they soften again.

"Dad, I'm so happy Sienna's working directly with you. Now I can be assured no one's going to intimidate her," Nova says brightly. "She's my best friend-my sister from another mother."

I force a smile back at her, the chopsticks in my hand almost falls off.

Nova takes a sips of her juice, and clears her throat. "Dad, don't use that domineering boss attitude on my friend. Promise me you'll take care of her?"

I freeze, my gaze flickering up to his.

He smirks. "Of course. Sienna's good at what she does. She's holding all the power."

"You see?" Nova giggles. "I told you it's your brain that you got this job."

My throat tightens, and I choke on the bite of beef I'm chewing.

"You okay?" Nova whispers, concern in her eyes.

I nod quickly, and reach for the glass of water.

"Are you better now?" Norman's voice cuts in, deep and measured.

I nod again, refusing to meet his gaze, Nova is oblivious, but I catch the meaning behind his words.

How can he be calm and so bold, playing around even with his daughter right here.

The rest of the meal passes in uneasy silence, and the moment Nova steps out, chattering about something she's forgotten, I stand, ready to make my escape, but Norman is suddenly in front of me, blocking the way.

His eyes narrowing at me, and I swallow, licking my suddenly dry lips. My heart races, sweat breaking down my spine.

He groans, leaning closer as his hands comes to rest on the table, caging me in. I tried to move back but it's futile, his breath fans my face, his legs brushes against mine.

"What are you doing?" I whisper, my heart hammering fiercely.

He smirks, then wrap his hand around my waist, the running the other over me, groping my butt, through my clothes.

My body trembles, my stomach tightens in knot as my breath labors.

"I'm taking care of you." He murmurs, his tone low, his hands coming up, dangerously close to my tits.

"I'm-I'm fine.... Mr. Garrison-" I breathe, leaning back slightly, but he doesn't move.

"No. You're not, but I can help you. If you scream my name the same way you did that night whiie you cum over my cock."

I gasp, my eyes widen as I look around.

"Yeah. I can still hear your moans and screams ringing in my ears." He growls, his chest rumbling. "The way your body responds to every of my touches. The way your greedy cunt takes me, over and over. Such an insatiable whore."

My face burns, he pulls me closer, cupping my tits in his hand.

"Mmm..." I bite my lips, my eyes squeezing shut.

Fuck! I can feel the dampness in my panties, my pussy pulsing, creaming my wetness and my body goes limp in his hands. His lips hovers around my neck, not touching but close enough to, his thump rubs over my nipples, it strains over my shirt, stone hard and painful.

His name lingers on my tongue, my body begs for release, I want to moan out, I want to scream, but I'm scared.

"I know you're dripping and all freaking mess down there, that's how dirty you are, but until you give me what I want-"

He kisses my neck, and thrust his hardness into my lower stomach. "You won't be getting this."

I want to grab his neck in that moment and pull his lips to mine, spread my legs and let him use me to his desire.

My whole body is trembling with need and abandon, my tits begs to be freed, to sucked. I want his lips everywhere, to forget my reason and lost myself in him.

I slump back unto the table, face flush and heart racing.

"Mr. Garrison-"

His jaw clenches, breath quickens.

"Dad!" Nova voice breaks slices through the tension as the office door bangs open.

My head jerks towards the door to the dining room, my body freezes in place. Norman turns away from me, but not before pinning me with a hard look.

I stumble away from the table as if it burns my skin, and I plaster a smile I'm sure doesn't reach my eyes as I face the door just as it opens.

Nova enters, the excitement on her face fading as her gaze darts between us.

Fuck-Fuck, fuck.

God, please, not now, I tremble, my hands clench tightly behind me.

Chapter 7

~Sienna~

"Dad, what have you done to Sienna? Look how frightened she looks." Nova rushes to my side.

My shoulders sags with relief, my eyes closing briefly.

"Sienna?" She whispers.

I smile, shaking my head. "I'm fine. Nothing happened."

But she doesn't believe me, I can tell by the way her brows pull together.

"I've to return to my work now." I say quickly, rushing out before I melt under her genuine warmth.

I should feel shameful, disloyal, unworthy.

Yet, all I can think about his the feelings he stirs in me and how my control keeps slipping away.

I'm so ruined and beyond saving.

Later, Nova's text message pops up on my phone saying she has to leave early, something urgent came up.

Work today runs smoothly, easier than yesterday, but I still have to stay until Norman finishes. I follow behind him into his private elevator as he presses the button to downstairs.

I'd prefer to use the regular one, but he insists, and who am I to object.

"I'll drive you home. Let me get the car," he says and steps away.

My mouth falls open, but no words come out. Can I handle another moment alone with Norman?

"Sienna."

The sound of my name makes me turn, and my stomach drops. My feet stumble backward as the color drains from my face, the hair on my scalp prickles, my ears rings.

Everly, my ex-friend.

After I caught her and Julian, I haven't seen her since.

A slow smile spread across her face as she walks closer in a tight fitted suit, designer bag hanging off her shoulder.

Does she... work here? Or something?

I'll have to ask Nova, she'll know.

"What are you doing here?" She asks, eyes running over me, then pauses and widen. "You work here."

"Hmm, that must have been Nova's doing, your little rich friend." She sneers. "Peaks of being the CEO's daughter's friend."

I grind my teeth, but keeping quiet.

If she wants to pretend she didn't betray four years of our friendship, then I'll just pretend she doesn't exist.

"Is that how you want to play it?" She snorts. "You should have gotten over this. You know men-if he'd wanted you, he wouldn't have been with me."

I draw in a deep breath, anger brews inside me, hot and fast, it feels as if I'm going to explode.

"Why are you so shameless?" I hiss.

"Shameless? That someone loves me, and I love him too, and we're together? Is that being shameless." She sighs. "You have everything Sienna. You're intelligent, you're good at what you do and you've got your rich best friend-and Julian."

She shrugs. "I have to struggle to get everything I need. I tagged along with you because I want those connections. You can't expect me not to take it when it came. I'm just doing what makes me happy."

I can't believe what I'm hearing.

"Really? I thought we were friends. And I don't have nothing. You know where I came from, and how hard I fought to get here. And you say this?"

"Whatever," she dangles her bag. "It's all in the past now, and it's better for you to remember that it's me he wants not you." She smirks, walking away but pauses.

"I work in the Real Estate Department, hoping to see you. Want to see how long you'll last here with your back entry."

"Sienna."

Norman's voice cuts through the air.

Everly's eyes widen as she looks at him then back at me, her eyes display a look of shock and confusion, before they fade into envy and rage.

"You roll with the father now?" She whispers. "Just how far are you willing to go to reach your goal?"

My eyes snap up to her, the grip on my bag tightening, something in me breaks the moment she says that words.

"Not everybody has to be a cheap hoe like you. Spreading that loose cunt of yours, just to reach the heights, but you'll never get there. You want to know why?" I say stepping closer, my tone low but sharp.

"Everything I have, I worked... hard for it. And you'll fall down on your face before you ever climb a step. So go on, feed yourself whatever makes you sleep at night, and wake up the next morning trying to be me." I flip my hair, walking away while she stares at me, stunned.

"You and Julian can both go rot in hell, cause you deserve each other." I throw over my shoulder. "And I'm looking forward to how long your relationship will last." I smile and walk away.

Fucking bitch! Fucking stupid bitch.

She thinks she can come at me just like that. I would have like to respect our years of friendship even though she betrayed me, but she thinks she's superior.

Fuming, I storm towards Norman's car, and slide inside.

"I'm sorry." I whisper, fastening my seat belt.

I have forgotten about Norman waiting for me during the rants and it isn't until I turn and see the car did I remember.

I pray I never run into Everly again, she brings out the worst in me.

"Are you alright?" Norman asks as he pulls out of the driveway.

I nod. "Yeah."

The soft hum of the car is the only sound accompanying us as he drives.

I stare out the window, watching as the streetlights blur by, the people strolling the night, Everly's words about doing what makes her happy echoes in my head.

Funny how I'd said the same thing two weeks ago even though I was drunk I still remember every bit of what happened that night.

Why can't I also do what makes me happy? He's right here and I'd been fighting these feelings, and it's not like I expect more from him or that I want him to marry me, it's about the feelings of the moment.

I just want to feel something real, I want him and he wants me too.

No strings attached, no commitment and no one has know if we don't tell.

It won't hurt Nova and I'll still be her best friend, I'll just keep my secret and to live my life.

Give in to my feelings with Norman, I'd be his dirty little girl, let him use me however he wants.

My thighs claps tightly against each other, my breath rush.

"We're here." Norman says, breaking my trail of thoughts.

I clear my suddenly dry throat, and swallow. "Thank you." I whisper.

I unbuckle the seatbelt and reach for the door handle.

"Do you want to talk about what happened at the company?" Norman asks. "The conversation seems pretty intense."

I shake my head without thinking. "It's nothing."

"Are you sure?" He ask, his tone gently, concerned.

"Yeah." I nod and step out. "Thank you."

I close the door and walk over to my apartment, I didn't hear the sound of him driving away till I enter the room.

Leaning back against the door, I exhale a long, shaky breath because if I'd stay in that car a moment longer, I'm sure I'll be begging him to take him.

I kick off my heels and head for the bedroom, I just want a shower and some sleep before my brain shut down for the day.

But my mind won't stop racing, a part tells me it's wrong, I can't do that, another voice whisper, it's not like you want forever with him, maybe this is just about choosing yourself for once.

Maybe it is.

I sink into bed, closing my eyes as a strange calm washes over me.
