You Are My Little Planet, Always There Chapter 1

[Is it normal for a 27-year-old man to still be a virgin?]

My husband was a doctor, but I thought there was something off about him.

Seeing this post just confirmed my suspicions, so I rushed to the hospital to get some advice.

Unexpectedly, I ran into my husband right there.

[Is it normal for a 27-year-old man to still be a virgin?]

When I saw this post online, I immediately thought of my live-in husband, Oscar Lewis.

He was a doctor with extreme germophobia, and ours was more of a sham marriage with a three-year contract.

Three years ago, due to pressure from both our families, we quickly tied the knot. We agreed that if either of us found someone we truly loved, the other would unconditionally agree to a divorce.

But the person I liked was him.

I've had a crush on him since high school.

It had been twelve years.

That was why I needed to make him fall for me as soon as possible before the three-year contract ended.

I wore a mask and rushed to the hospital. I visited the andrology department to ask about male issues.

Without the mask, I, a woman, just couldn't bring myself to ask.

"Dr. Parker, I've been living with my husband for three years, but even though I walk around him in a lace nightgown every day, he doesn't react at all. He's twenty-seven and still a virgin. Is that normal?"

Vincent Parker, the doctor opposite me looked pretty handsome, too. He sized me up and down, pushed his glasses, and said very seriously, "If he loves you, it's not normal for him not to react to you."

I couldn't reply to a word.

I already knew he didn't love me!

I wanted to ask the doctor not to be so blunt and to rub salt in my wound.

Vincent looked at my slightly dejected expression and said, "If he doesn't love you and doesn't react at all to his wife, whom he sees every day, that's also a bit abnormal."

I was startled. "So, there's something wrong with him?"

He nodded slightly to me. "You could say that."

I was speechless.

With a heavy heart, I prepared to leave the counseling room. Just as I pushed open the door, my husband, Oscar, walked in.

Our eyes met, and we both froze in surprise.

My heart pounded as I quickly pulled my mask up, hoping he wouldn't recognize me.

But as luck would have it, the idea that wearing a mask could hide your identity was something you only see on TV shows.

Oscar looked puzzled and called out, "Lauren Peaks?"

I didn't dare to respond.

"What are you doing at the hospital? Are you feeling unwell?" Oscar asked.

I just stared at him.

For a moment, I thought he sounded genuinely concerned.

I shook my head quickly, "No, I'm not feeling unwell."

I intended to leave, but just then, Vincent strolled over leisurely with a cup in hand and said, "Dean Lewis, you know each other? This lady was here inquiring about her husband's condition."

I panicked and blurted out, "No, no, not at all."

"What?" Oscar smiled at me and looked up to quiz Vincent, "Inquiring about her husband's what?"

His smile was chilling.

I felt weak at the knees.

I wanted to run, but he was still holding onto my arm.

Vincent was unaware that Oscar was indeed my husband. He took a sip of water and said, "Her husband, twenty-seven, still a virgin. He definitely has erectile dysfunction."

I stole a glance at Oscar.

His face turned as dark as the ink of a cold night.

Vincent advised me, "Young lady, I suggest you go home and prepare to discuss a divorce. Don't put yourself through this."

I really wanted to kneel to this indiscreet man!

To beg him to stop talking!

Oscar coldly glanced at Vincent, the blabbermouth doctor, and said, "You should go and learn with the new intern at the hospital."

Vincent paused, clueless about what was happening, and reminded, "But they are studying gynecology, and I'm an andrology!"

"So, I'm suggesting you switch to learn that," said Oscar.

Vincent was left speechless.
