Gwen’s search for a marital home takes a dark turn when a judgmental real estate agent publicly accuses her of being a fake socialite with multiple sugar daddies. While the agent praises Gwen's fiancé for his supposed wealth and success, she has no idea that Gwen is actually a genuine heiress. More shockingly, Gwen’s fiancé is not the rich man he claims to be; he is a scholarship student she has been secretly funding while he maintains a facade of luxury.

The Realtor and My Fiancé Chapter 1

While visiting a property development with my fiancé to buy our first home, I ran into a two-faced real estate agent.

She showered my fiancé with compliments, praising him for being young and successful enough to afford a Rolls-Royce.

Then, she suggested I was a fake socialite with a knockoff designer bag, implying that I was just using my charms to snag a free house.

When she found out the property was meant to be a marital home, her voice grew loud enough for everyone nearby to hear.

“I just think the sugar daddy who bought you those two properties last time treated you pretty well!”

“Oh, wait. Miss Gwen, don’t you have several sugar daddies? Do they all know about each other?”

I chuckled. What she didn’t know was that my “sugar daddies” were my godfathers and I really was a socialite.

The kicker, though, was that my so-called wealthy fiancé wasn’t rich at all. In fact, he was just a scholarship student I had been financially supporting!

After Asher and I visited Grandpa’s house, our wedding plans were finally set.

That evening, we drove off in the Rolls-Royce Grandpa gifted us, planning to check out a newly developed luxury apartment complex nearby for our future home.

The moment we arrived at the property, I made a quick stop at the restroom. In my haste, I accidentally bumped into a female sales agent as she stepped out.

"Watch where you're going, will you?" she snapped, her voice neither loud nor soft, but clearly condescending.

I glanced at her name tag: Sophia Duke, Senior Property Consultant.

Her disdainful gaze flicked over me, and she sneered, lowering her voice to say, "Some people think carrying a knockoff bag makes them a socialite.

"Posing for pictures in luxury properties and using the restrooms here without buying anything is just pathetic, don’t you think?"

I inhaled deeply, ready to retort, when she bumped her shoulder against mine and strode off arrogantly.

Once I emerged from the restroom, I saw her again.

Now, she was all smiles, practically glowing, as she stood in front of Asher. She was batting her lashes and leaning in far too closely, her chest grazing his arm as she enthusiastically pitched the property.

It wasn’t hard to see what was going on.

Asher, dressed impeccably in a tailored suit and wearing a luxury watch, had made an extra effort today since it was his first time meeting Grandpa after the older man's return from abroad.

His polished appearance screamed affluence, which, clearly, caught Sophia's eyes.

After all, in a luxurious location like this, where a single commission could fund a lavish lifestyle for years, people like Sophia would go above and beyond to secure a sale.

The moment Asher noticed me, he immediately stepped back from her, creating space, and smiled warmly. "Gwen, come over here."

Sophia's face froze when she turned and saw me standing there. Her discomfort was evident as she forced a smile. "Miss... Gwen, you're with Mr. Asher?

"Oh, I’m so sorry! I noticed your bag earlier and thought it was a knockoff. I assumed you were just here to use the restroom.

"We often get wannabe socialites with fake designer bags posing for photos here… I hope you won’t take offense?"

Fake?

The bag she was referring to had been a gift from Asher himself, and he knew perfectly well it wasn’t a knockoff.

As soon as Sophia’s words landed, Asher’s expression turned awkward. He quickly redirected the conversation.

"Gwen, this area seems like a good choice. It’s close to your family. Why don’t we have a look around?"

I had no desire to deal with Sophia any longer, so I bypassed her entirely and walked straight to Asher’s side. "No need for more talking. Let’s check out the model homes instead."

Asher gently placed his hand on my shoulder and tapped my nose playfully. "Whatever you say."

While we waited for the elevator, Sophia’s glittery-shadowed eyes remained fixed on Asher. "Mr. Asher, you’re so accomplished. You must be the CEO of some company, right?"

He gave her a polite but detached smile. "Not exactly.”

Sophia, encouraged by his response, dropped her voice into a coquettish tone. "You’re so modest! Anyone driving a Rolls-Royce at your age has to be nothing short of extraordinary."

When the elevator arrived, Sophia glanced at me disdainfully before stepping inside.

As she did, she subtly adjusted her neckline, pulling it down just enough to flaunt more of her chest.

She brazenly shoved her way past me to stand beside Asher, her heels painfully stomping onto my foot in the process.

"Hey! What’s your problem?" I exclaimed, wincing in pain.
