Edward was surprised at what she saw , he quickly dropped it back. " Lucia, wake up I think you're home" he said as the bus stopped him right in front of his house.

" Oh, thanks" Lucia said as she puted the book inside her bags.

When she got home she immediately ran to the kitchen." Oh, goodness!" She exclaimed. There was no food at home which means she had to make another. She hated cooking . She quickly got some hot dogs and microwaved it . Atleast, that will keep her hold still she finishes her assignment.

She haven't heard from Draven since Four months now, she wondered about Eva and that silly Aria . "RING!!" the telephone rang but Lucia was up stairs. Some minutes later, she came down to turn up the air conditioner. It was an unknown number.

" Hello Lucia speaking" she said.

" Hello, it's Eva" a voice replied as Lucia's face brightened up.

" How you doing?" She asked as she played with the buttons.

" So how's life over there?" Eva asked her voice trailed off.

" Same as usual, all good " Lucia answered as she heard someone's voice from Eva's place.

" Who's that?" Lucia said as she heard Eva's voice.

" Who's that?" The person asked as Eva cutted the call. Strange! Lucia thought but she couldn't go there it's too far. Lucia kept pounding on what she heard on the phone with Eva, she couldn't try and call back they person might pick. Life was indeed cruel for Eva😓

The dark night was glommy as usual, Lucia could see birds flapping back home, the moon was already setting down each of all this brought peace to hear. She loved looking outside , she thought as the evening breeze blow her hair away from her eyes.

" Moon goodness, please show me my mate not the one that will reject me " she thought out loud as she awaited going to school tomorrow but not to show up late 😂

The regular morning but this time Lucia was up immediately it clocked sharp 5am, her uncle was still asleep. She made his favorite meal so that next time he will give her some money 😁. As she waited, she arranged her nook she came across her penpal letters but she just smiled and tossed them aside.

" Hmm, I'm actually in North Carolina now . Wonder if I could see my penpal one day, how will he even recognize me" she thought to herself.

" Maybe, you can carry a sigh board for that " a voice said as she turned it was her uncle. Up so soon, normally he gets up after 11. Lucia giggled.

" So how's the school going?" He asked as he sat down on my table.

" It's going very well, made new friends " she replied as she closed the door.

" Hmm, ..... have you found your mate yet?" He asked as he looked at her to see her expression. Lucia's face turned pale.

" Not yet" she replied as she picked up a book on the floor and putted it on the shelf.

" Is it because you got rejected?" He asked.

" Maybe that's why the moon goodness hasn't given me a new one " she replied as she sat down on her laundry basket

" No, She has already given you but the pass still controls your present" he added as he now stared at her with his Ocean eyes.

" But being rejected is a shame to the pack really right?" She asked .

" Yes, but it's not really something to hide about. I to got rejected twice " uncle Xander said as Lucia face didn't hide her expression.

" Yes, but I'm the one that decided not to go for love again" he added .

" But, you're a pretty werefolf she who would make any Alpha or werefolf happy " he said as he hugged her, she felt happy and had more courage to keep going.

It rained, the school premises were wet . Lucia walked to class as he bumped into Edward.

" Ouh, my head" Lucia lamented . Edward was heading somewhere he didn't know.

" Oh Lucia, I'm sorry" he said as he looked at himself as both of them noticed the fur that showed on hi arm. She pushed his inside the girls toilet so that no one would see him transforming.

The toilet was empty. Edward's clothes ripped apart as fur covered all his body. He looked at Lucia." Are you a werefolf? she asked wjile Edward looked at her puzzled. He didn't know se knew about him, that only means one thing.

" I saw your penpal letters, I'm Edward from third grade" he added as Lucia face brightened up as she hugged him

" OMG!, it's really you" she said excited as the toilet went pitch black. All the electricity was off. Edward looked at Lucia her hands were slowly looking like paws and behold they were hugging each other in their werefolf form. That only defines one thing, Lucia was his mate.

She was so happy and excited but she hide it just in case he rejects her. Edward hugged her.

" So , she's my mate" he thought to himself .

" I ... Edward.kings accepts Lucia as my beloved mate!" He announced as Lucia jumped with joy, finally the moon goddess answered her prayers and indeed her ways are UNEXPECTED.......

That moment was astonishing before Lucia's sight, she hugged him as the furs rubbed against her face. He finally found him. Edward was the next alpha of the crescent scars. " And she would become an Alpha's wife.

The teacher stood in front of the class, explaining what Lucia's never understand. " So hand over your assignment" the teacher said as Lucia immediately forgot she didn't do it, because she has a phobia of solving to many numbers 😂 as usual her partner did her's.

" Miss Lucia, your assignment?" Mr Morphy asked looking at her closely. Lucia was brainstorming quickly on what to say.

" I left it at home and my dog ate it" she lied as she flashed a smile. Mr Morphy knew she was lieing but he didn't want chaos as usual. Lucia was relieved . All she could think about was Edward and her. She loved to be an Alpha's wife but she wasn't sure she loved him.

" Well, maybe before the ceremony we would have fallen in love with each other" she thought to herself as she watched students running to classes. The regular excitement of finding her mate vanished, all she couldn't stop thinking about her position in his kingdom which wasn't good. She wanted the ceremony to come quick, it's going to be next tomorrow. She shouldn't wait to rub it on Draven's face after all, she would connect the two packs together anyways.

Lucia couldn't wait to tell her uncle, she couldn't tell Kelly she's an human. She couldn't wait to be the alpha's wife and be part of the pack.

" I'm heading home now!, see you later" Lucia said as she quickly left the school premises and boarded the bus hopefully her Inc will be home. The bus stopped in front of her house , she was so excited that she even forgot to pay the driver.

She gave out a loud SIGH!! . She waited all night for her uncle practicing her steps while they danced but to her all she wanted was the power

Finally, he was home. " Welcome home!!" She said as she hugged him.

Uncle Xander was surprised. " What a surprise!, what's going on?" He said as she closed the doors.

" I found my mate " Lucia said as she saw the expression on his face. He knew it was Edward, he was so excited.

" I'm going to contact the moon pack" he said as he sat on the couch while Lucia looked happier because Draven would be the first to hear about her success. The rest of the night was peaceful for her , she only though about her new name

" Mrs Edward mates!" She said at loud. It was a red moon and little fog like clouds surrounded it. Now she could be heavenly proud of her coming back to visit the moon pack. As she laid her head on the pillows her head was filled with fantasy of her upcoming regime.

The ceremony finally came , The moon pack was present and so as the crescent scars. Everyone were present even Fenix, the revelator . Who would tell whether the moon goodness approved of it . Every where was be brightly decorated, Lucia's favorite balloons colours were added. The sacred place where the moon goddess stayed to witness the ceremony and to approved of it was decorated with red, which is the color of a full moon and if it glows red it only means she approved of it.

The revelator asked Lucia and Edward to seat in front of the sacred place after saying so many enchantments and blessings to them . Everyone awaited what the moon goddess would say ..........then after waiting it didn't show any colour!!! Lucia's heart was skipping as he tried again . To everyone's surprise it turned bright RED!! , their was murmurs from the guests and laughter to

" I'm sorry we can't continue, the moon goddess says you too aren't each other's mate. Uncle Xander hurried to where they both stood holding hands. Edward was confused as he withdrawed his hands from hers.

" I thought we were mates, what then happened?" He said with sadness all over his face, his pack came over to support her and the moon pack stood at the back of Lucia whispering. To Lucia all hope's were lost for good..........

Lucia was angry, she left both sad and angry. She swore to find Edwards real mate. The humiliation was huge, everyone from the moon pack withnessed her shame but think time she was rejected by the moon goddess. She was hiding at the back of the basement, crying and muttering curses to herself. Edward already left her. " Oh moon goodness what have I ever done to you, that you made me with withness all that shame" she said out loud and from there she swore to find the person.

The days passed and Lucia was back to normal. Meanwhile, Edward was still in search of his mate. Lucia become rude, arrogant all of a sudden. She believed she was on top of the world.

" He'll, !" Kelly greeted hee friend.

" Hey " Lucia replied ignoring her . She wasn't in the mood for all that time. She kept on looking at Edward, whenever he looks at her and he removes her face. The class was the same hell as usual just giving assignment and assessments.

Kelly and Lucia chatted about their daily nepa lights. Their were happy snapping pics with us . The streets were wet and mouldy , Lucia didn't bring her sweater but she had to squeeze her self inside the bus because all the passengers were avoiding been wet.

The lawn was wet today, as Lucia could see frogs hopping away as the sky still looked sad like her. She locked herself in as her heart couldn't say a word but it expresses it self through tears, yes she cried . Slowly she was becoming evil and naughty. All she wanted was to observe Edward and find his mate's before someone else grabs him.

The night was cold, as her uncle called to tell her he wasn't going to be home till tomorrow when she's probably in school. Shw gazed at the moon and gave out an heavy sigh!!

The moon packs weren't happy about how the crescent scars disgraced the moon pack members. Draven was angry but he didn't know what to do? . After all the members of the moon pack were discussed and some agreed for revenge, while some agreed to let things go.

She woke up , it was a full red moon. The red moon represented the moon goddess. Her door was open . She could hear shouts for down stairs as she hurried down stairs to see her Edward and a strange getting off with each other's. She tried her best to recognize the girls face but her face was hidden. Then she woke up. she was panicking because she knew that he was going to soon find his mate

Reid and Nicolas wanted to get back at the crescent scars whi were already rubbing it on their faces about the rejection. The two pack had a meeting day for a game of rob hockey.

" Fair play" Draven said as he extended his hands expecting a shake.

" I don't need it " Leo, the captain of crescent scars said as he looked around.

" Where's Lucia" he asked Draven while smirking.

" She's away for now " Draven replied as Leo's face erupted with laughter.

" Imagine our alpha really thought of Lucia being his Mate!" He added as he laughed again. Draven was already pissed off but he didn't want to fight if not his team will get eliminated
