"Renata, I want to sleep with you," Leonard Chapman said with a smile.

His bright eyes squinted, and his lips curved into a charming smile as if he were casually asking what was for lunch.

His mischievous demeanor made me tremble with anger, and I wanted to walk away.

But I held back, taking a deep breath. "Leonard, you'll have a girlfriend in the future. You can sleep with her then."

"But I just want you," Leonard said, smiling. "I don't want anyone else."

I knew he was doing it on purpose. He'd loved teasing me since we were kids.

We had known each other since childhood. My dad was his family's driver, and my mom worked as their housekeeper.

His parents were busy making money and neglected to discipline him, leading to his mischievous behavior. No one could handle him. When he was little, he was afraid to sleep alone at night, so I kindly let him sleep with me for a few days. Since then, he'd pestered me and loved to tease me. I was always annoyed with him.

And his parents often asked me to look after him.

This time was no different. They were away on business and asked me to take care of him, offering a generous reward.

I took a deep breath and picked up a book to change the subject. "Let's do some math problems. Even in college, you can't slack off..."

Leonard pouted and impatiently grabbed the workbook, quickly finishing the problems. "Renata, sleep."

I wanted to curse but wasn't used to swearing. As I hesitated, my phone rang, which saved me.

It was Edward Bartlett, inviting me to dinner.

Edward was a senior who had always been kind and academically excellent. Before graduation, he had taken good care of me. He was back from a business trip and wanted to catch up. I should be treating him to dinner, so I agreed and hung up.

Leonard twirled a pen in his hand, tilted his head, and smiled at me. "Renata, who is that you're going so far to treat to dinner?"

He was smiling, but his eyes were full of displeasure.

Afraid of provoking this little devil and being unable to go out, I gently explained, "He's a senior named Edward Bartlett. You stay home, and I'll be back soon."

Leonard propped his chin, a trace of disgust flashing across his face. "Is he that student council member who graduated just as I started?"

"Yes." I packed my phone, checked the time, and hurried to leave.

Leonard stood up. "I'm going with you."

"No way," I refused immediately.

Leonard had used his fists to scare away any boys around me since childhood, claiming to prevent early relationships. As a result, he was my only male friend until college.

I'd be crazy to take him along.

Leonard shrugged. "Then no one's going. I have a lot of questions and I need you to teach me."

He was lying!

He could solve the problems more easily than I could. I knew he had scored highly to get into our school!

I glared at Leonard, but he blocked my way, looking stubborn and refusing to let me go.

I felt tears welling up, a bad habit from being bullied by him since childhood.

Seeing that I was about to cry, Leonard lazily stretched and sighed. "Just teasing you. You're two years older than me, yet you cry all the time. Go, but be back within three hours."
