Take Revenge on the Rumormongers Chapter 1
Alexander sent a photo of a woman to his friends' group chat.
[I've dated many, but this one is the most thrilling.]
After discovering this, I kept the evidence and found the woman to confront the jerk together.
On the day we met, the other party turned out to be a stunning man, 6 feet tall, with an androgynous beauty.
He grabbed the jerk by the neck and angrily said, "So, you're the one who edited my photo and spread lies about me, saying I was thrilling?"
Alexander had added me in the freshman group chat.
He said he was a junior in the finance department and that I could come to him with any questions.
Over time, Alexander built up a perfect image in my mind.
Until I logged into his twitter account and found that he had sent a photo of a woman in his friends' group chat.
He added: [I've dated many, but this one is the most thrilling.]
His friends all praised him: [Alexander, you're amazing!]
The moment I saw the photo, my pupils shook. My fingers trembled with anger as I touched the screen and accidentally enlarged the woman's photo.
Her appearance wasn't common.
She had a unique look, one that could be easily recognized in a crowd, with fox-like features.
I suddenly remembered where I had seen this woman.
I immediately went into the freshman group chat, searched through the chat history, and found that a girl had posted the photo.
The beautiful woman in the photo had flawless skin and seductive, beautiful eyes. Unlike typical beauties, she had an alluring charm.
She was sitting in the water, her back to the camera, with her long hair floating on the surface.
My fingers trembled slightly as I held the phone.
I couldn't believe it was her.
I clicked on the girl's profile and added her as a friend.
She quickly accepted my friend request.
[Do you need something?]
I typed a line of text but then deleted it.
Alexander and I hadn't been dating for long.
Our relationship wasn't deep.
But my family had been torn apart because of a homewrecker.
So, I had an inherent hatred for all homewreckers.
I typed out a long message but then had a thought.
Maybe the girl didn't know Alexander had a girlfriend.
After all, our relationship hadn't been made public.
[Do you know the girl in the photo?]
[A girl? Haha, do you need something? If you want to meet her, sorry, she has someone she likes and doesn't add strangers.]
When I saw the girl say that the woman had someone she liked.
I felt a pang of discomfort.
Could she like Alexander?
If she knew what her crush said about her behind her back.
She would be so heartbroken.
[My boyfriend is Alexander, a junior in the finance department. He posted her photo in the group chat yesterday and said some bad things. I'm worried it might affect her life.]
[Can you help me contact her? There are some things I can't discuss with others.]
[Oh, I'll ask him then. He might not care about it himself.]
The girl typed another line.
[But you say you're Alexander's girlfriend? As far as I know, he's not a good person, and I advise you to break up with him soon.]
Just then, I saw that Alexander had sent me a message.
[Did you log into my account?]
Thinking about what he had done and how he had deceived me, my eyes filled with tears.
[I saw everything in your group chat.]
Alexander called me on voice chat. I thought for a moment and answered.
I wanted to hear what he had to say.
I expected him to apologize, but instead, he got angry and scolded me.
[Olivia, who gave you permission to log into my account? Apologize to me right now.]
I was stunned for a moment, then I sneered. [You gave me the password yourself, saying it was to make me feel secure.]
[Then why didn't you tell me before you logged in?]
[Telling you beforehand would just give you time to delete the things I shouldn't find out about, right?]
Seeing he couldn't win the argument, Alexander started cursing my family.
He could insult anyone.
But he couldn't insult my family!
I hung up the call immediately.
I didn't want to get involved in this matter.
Everyone has a temper.
This kind of shameless jerk, who blames the victim for his own mistakes and tries to manipulate the other person into thinking they're wrong, I had only seen in online stories.
I never thought I would experience it myself.
