ABIGAIL

My sobs filled the cell I was locked in, and my entire body ached because of the strokes from Madam Doreen, I was bleeding, and I might have broken my ankle.

Shira was silent the entire time she was too weak to heal me as the whip Madam Doreen used was laced with wolf bane and that made my wolf weak, so my injuries were not healing. The guards stationed to watch my cell repeatedly yelled at me asking me to shut up and stop causing a nuisance with my cries,

I sat on the concrete ground as my tears streamed down my face continuously, I was going to die for a crime I did not commit, not when I had just met my mate.

The gates to the cellars were opened, and I heard footsteps coming in the direction where my cell was located, just then Zara appears in front of my cell. She had a grin on her face as she stood in front with her hands folded against her chest,

" You believe you are so smart, right? But I will always be one step ahead of you bitch!"

" Why do you hate me so much?" my voice was a whisper, I was curious to know her reason for this excess scorn she had toward me, yes everybody here in Glow Star hates me but hers and Madam Doreen's are simply vastly.

" Do not be so stupid acting oblivious to why everybody hates you! You are the seed of a traitor who caused the lives of so many innocent werewolves But for me, my hatred for you goes deeper than you can ever imagine, and it just inflated with what I witnessed!"

Her words pierced deep into my soul, hurting me like never, my parents were good people I know that they could never do what there were accused of.

"What have you witnessed?" I asked, wanting to know my offense for her new level of hatred toward me now,

" Don't you dare pretend you slut! I saw everything about how you bewitched Alexander, and he took you to his bed! You spent the night in my future mate's bed, you scum! How dare you!"

It took me a few minutes to understand her outburst, she saw me with my mate and believes I bewitched him, how absurd can she be? Zara must be indeed crazy for believing that he was her future mate when our wolves already smelt one another,

About my mate, I ran out without thinking about him, he must be worried sick trying to find me, I did not even get his name or drop my address, and I did not have a phone to drop my number, how on earth would he reach me now? Great Abi, just great, I thought.

" You are misinterpreting what you saw I did not__"

" Oh shut that mouth of yours, slave, I understood everything I witnessed and that's why I strategized the easiest plan to get you out of the way once and for good,"

Zara cut my words off, and after hearing the comments that left her lip I finally figured out that it was her plan all along to frame me for theft. She planned everything, she went so low to even implant the missing necklace in my room. How shameless was she?

" It was you, how could you?"

" Yea, it was me, and it will be nice watching you hang to death,"

My blood boiled at her confession, I wanted to have it out with her for this cruel accusation she laid on me, but I was too weak to even speak properly, the only forte I could do presently was cry, after everything I was going to die as a slave for a crime I never committed.

"Yea weep slave, that is all you can ever do, powerless whore!"

I closed my eyes as my tears continued to stream down my face, Zara finally stormed away, leaving me alone to drown in my sorrow as I awaited death.

Minutes turned to hours as I sat in my cell, I lost track of time in that dark stinking hole until I heard heavy footsteps headed my way, I panicked with fear as the sound got closer.

" Grab her we do not have any time to waste," the men who approached my cell spoke out hurriedly, I scream as they haul me out of the compartment with force,

" Where are you taking me?!"

" Shut up and stop wailing you traitor or else I'll slit your throat right now!" one of them warned me, and instantly I kept calm after hearing his threat of killing me,

" Quickly this way! Alpha Alexander and his men are searching the entire Glow Star for her, we have to hurry before they catch up with us!"

Their words confused me who on earth was Alpha Alexander? And why are they taking me away?

" Please do not kill me, please," I begged for my life, I would leave Glow Star if they spared my life, I did not want to die, at least not now!

We reached the back entrance of the pack house, where a car was waiting, and without wasting time, I was pushed inside the car, I wailed aggressively wanting them to let me go, but it was to no avail as the car sped away,

One of the men received a call and my heart raced when I heard his words,

" Yes boss, we have her, we will make it look natural as we planned, her dead body would not be found,"

" No, no, where are you taking me? Please do not kill me!!"

My voice boomed in the car, but nobody looked my way, I tried to wiggle out of their hold to open the door of the moving car, but I could not reach as strong hands pinned me down, My entire body trembled, I would rather not die, I was too young.

Eventually, the car stopped moving, and these strong men dragged me out of the car, I glanced around my background and noticed we were in an open field with a cliff in front, the sounds of the harsh wave hitting the rocks made me understand that an ocean was down there, then realization hit me, I was going to be thrown into the sea.

" I do not think we should send her off like that, I mean beyond that rag she wears might exist a fantastic body which we could have all to ourselves,"

One of the men speaks out with lust evident in his eyes, the other men nodded their heads in acceptance of his remarks,

" Yes, let's have some fun with her, my body needs good pleasure,"

I shook my head with fear, my heart racing because deep down I know I would never be able to stop them from doing whatever they wanted with me,

They were three men in total and hefty at that, there was no way I could fight or escape them, behind me was an ocean filled with pain and no chance of survival while in front were these lustful monsters who wanted to defile me.

Immediately they moved in fast strides, hands gripped my legs, and my screams were loud as I struggled in their hold, in that instance they ripped the t-shirt I had on, leaving me in only my underwear, my chest exposed to their view.

My body was pinned down by one of them while the others took their clothes off, I could not move an inch. I only watched as their erected manhood sprang out, tears pooled in my eyes as one leaned down and captured a nipple in his mouth, he sucked on my taut breast before parting my legs, and he rips apart the remaining piece of cloth on my body which was my underwear leaving me naked in their eyes.

I closed my eyes waiting for the pain to come, seconds turned to a minute, and then I heard a loud, deep vibrating growl,

" Get your filthy hands off my mate!!!"

Alexander Reed, Alpha of the Outlaw pack, which is the largest pack in the country, hesitated to grace the invite to the Glow Star pack for the ceremony of their new Alpha.

However, Axel, his wolf was acting up and also pressuring Alexander to attend, he was never a fan of gatherings, especially the ones where inconsequential werewolves would attend and try to make small talk with him, he hated all of that.

At age twenty-five he still had not found his mate, and that stirred up rumors that the moon goddess did not bless him with a mate because of his cruel deeds.

Alexander arrived at the Glow Star pack with his Beta Shawn, they were immediately taken to their hotel rooms to rest as the party would begin later in the evening. For an unknown reason, Axel acted up, pacing back and forth in Alexander's head.

"Could you fucking stop it! You are going to cause me to have a headache with your actions." Alexander growled at his wolf, who growled back at him, Axel is a strong and powerful wolf, the moon goddess did not make a mistake pairing these two up as their personality was matched. Arrogant, stubborn, and possessive was a better description of Alexander and his wolf.

The party began and Alexander and his Beta drove to the Glow Star pack house where the party was being held, just as he had visualized, these unworthy werewolves surrounding him trying to make small talk about doing business with his pack. He knew their intention was not pure at all, they were solely pretending to feign love for him to have connections with Outlaw. When in reality they all feared and despised him, not like he fucking cared.

The party was boring and after the swearing-in of the new Alpha and Luna, Alexander decided to adhere to his wolf's plead to leave the room. However, as he walked out, a petite structure stood in front blocking his way, Alexander furrowed his brow at her audacity,

"Who the fuck are you to block my path." He speaks up in a rough, angry voice, his hands in his pocket as he sizes up the girl in front of him.

"Alex, are you leaving already? I mean the party has only just started."

Alex creased his brow deeper this time watching, he smirked evilly at the nerve she had to stop him.

"I know you do not recognize me yet, My name is Zara, and I am your future mate," she spoke without fear,

Alexander had no expression this time on his face, A few people had begun to notice, but he merely pushed past her; however, Zara was extra daring enough to hold his arm stopping him from walking away.

At that moment Alexander's hand quickly found her neck, and he wrapped his fingers around her throat in a tight grip,

"How dare you touch me!" his voice boomed in the room, earning the attention of everyone.

Zara's survival instinct kicked in as she tried her best to claw his hand off, but his grip was tight, "I do not want to ever see your face again, and it is Alpha Alexander Bitch!"

He flung her body like she weighed nothing, and her body hit the ground with a loud thud making everyone gasp, Alexander turned on his heel and walked out of that suffocating space, with his Beta behind him.

"How dare that fucking tramp touch me," he was pissed,

"Alpha should we head back to the hotel room?" Shawn asks,

"You can head back Shawn, I'll return soon,"

Alexander wanted nothing more than to leave right now, nevertheless, his wolf Axel wanted him to walk around for a while, he brought out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, took a stick, and lit it. Alexander was standing by his car smoking when a man walked toward him, "Alpha Zach has invited you to come in for snacks Alpha,"

"Go tell your Alpha I declined his offer," Alexander says without hesitation, The man nods his head in fear and quickly runs away, making Alexander smirk.

"Can we stroll in the woods out back," Axel asks,

" What the hell is wrong, you have been acting strange since we got here, and your actions are beginning to piss me off,"

"Do it, Alex I promise we'll both be glad you did,"

Hesitantly Alexander sauntered forward into the woods, his eyes scanning the area as he moved further, After walking for ten minutes his nose caught a whiff of something sweet and intoxicating, he stilled in his tracks, trying to decipher what was going on. The scent hit him again, this time hard, and his eyes immediately turned to the color of his wolf,

"Mate! Mate!" Axel wailed, pacing and jumping in Alexander's head,

Alex glanced around for who had this scent that called unto him, It felt like home and there was no place he would rather be than in the arms of this person,

Just then a small figure stepped out from behind the trees, It was dark, and he could not see her clearly until she moved closer under the moonlight.

His eyes trailed over her body and for a moment he noticed she bent her head in shame, she was covered in rags as clothing, her face so beautiful with long brunette hair. Alex stared into those dark hazel eyes that showed fear and anticipation.

He brought her back to his hotel room, and after hearing her name and age he was pleased, the bond called unto her.

Alexander and his wolf wanted nothing more than to mate and mark her right there, however after capturing the sight of the number of scars on her body, he halted in his actions.

Axel growled at the blotches that marred her skin, "Who on earth did this our mate?!"

"Relax I know it hurts you to see her this way, it hurts me too, but we have to mind our words and actions in her presence, so we do not scare or hurt her," Alex explained even though he wanted to make everyone involved in hurting his mate pay.

The entire night Abigail slept without blinking her eyes for once, Alex simply kept an eye on her throughout, he wrapped his hands around her taking in her beauty.

Alex had to meet with his long-time friend who also attended the function last night, they had Important business to discuss, so he left with his Beta as early as five that morning, leaving Abigail alone.

"This is the most fruitful party we have attended all over the years, Xander, I can't believe you found your mate and our future Luna here in the Glow Star pack." Shawn declares, with a wide smile on his face, as they drive to the location of the meet-up.

Alexander smirked at his Beta's words, who was also his best friend. "Now I believe that miracles do happen, Shawn,"

The meeting lasted for five hours, Alexander had his phone off throughout the meeting including Shawn, avoiding any form of distraction. Alex disliked any type of nuisance during important meetings like this one.

Subsequently, the meeting finally came to an end, however, Shawn cursed the moment he turned on his phone, making Alex turn to his Beta with a questioning look, "What is it?"

"I just received a message from the hotel, Luna is nowhere to be found," Those words left Shawn's mouth and immediately a deep growl coursed through Alexander's lip.

"What the fuck did you just say?"

"Alpha I'm sorry, but she was not in the suite when breakfast was to be served to her, according to the text, the entire room was empty,"

"Fuck! Drive now go! I can not lose her when I merely just found her,"

They arrived at the hotel and an angry Alexander stormed the room, Her scent was still there but faint indicating it had been a while since she left, he growled angrily his wolf trying to claw its way to the surface.

It was hard to get a hold of her as the only information he knew about her was just her name and age.

"Call Zach fucking call him right now!"

The Glow Star despite the loss they had years back due to the attack was still one of the largest packs in the country, Alex pondered on how to find his mate, It was over three hours and there was still no sign of her.

The Beta of Glow Star arrived at the hotel and the words leaving his mouth pissed Alexander off, "Maybe she went home to inform her family, I believe she will return,"

"I want to speak with the Alpha, not you." Shawn spoke with irritation, he too was pissed,  

"The Alpha is busy at the moment that is why I was sent instead,"

"Shut the fuck up, I do not care what he is busy with, Glow Star must provide my mate in the next hour, or get ready to face my wrath!" Alexander declared, his words sufficed with power.

Alexander paced back and forth in his room, waiting patiently for the time to elapse. He checked his watch for the hundredth time in forty minutes, Both he and his Beta waited patiently for any news.

Axel was already agitated, growling and howling for its mate,

" Time up, let's move," Alex says to his Beta, his voice so deep anger laced in it.

The ride to the Glow Star Pack house was a short one, Alpha Zach stood in front with his mate and a few pack members, tension filled the air as Alexander stepped out of the car. Rage evidently indicated on his face as he strode in fast strides toward Zach.

"Alpha Alex..."

A hard blow landed on Zach's face before he could finish his phrase, The sound of bone cracking echoed,

"Who the fuck do you think you are to ignore me!" Alexander's voice boomed, making everyone shudder with fear.

Whispers could be heard among the Glow Star pack members. Some of them frowned at his actions for hitting their Alpha, however, none of them dared to say a word to Xander's hearing,

Zach held his now broken jaw groaning in pain, his mate leaned down to aid him back on his feet.

"Alexander we have other affairs at hand here in Glow Star, My men and I have tried our best, and there is no way we can find someone who does not exist," Zach explains while grunting,

A deep growl escaped Xander's throat, but before he could do anything a voice halted his actions,

"Alpha Alexander having you in our midst is indeed a pleasure, I am immensely grateful that you decided to grace my son's special day. The situation at hand is not enough reason for us to start a fight, why don't we go in and discuss this without raising fits."

It was Zach's Father and the former Alpha of the Glow Star pack, he walked toward Alexander without fear whereas everyone stood far from the heartless Alpha who is feared in the werewolf race.

Alexander raised his brow at the old man's words, "You think this is a trivial situation, that we get to sit and talk over?"

"No not at all, How can it be when it concerns your mate, I mean after all these years the moon goddess finally blesses you with your chosen,"

Alexander growled at his words, startling the old man and everyone gathered there,

There was no time to waste, his wolf howled loudly in his head for their mate, For some reason Axel felt she was in trouble.

"You mean to tell me there is no one by the name of Abigail Monroe, who is part of the Glow Star pack?" Xander asks, This time glancing around, Nobody uttered a word, however, the looks on their faces indicated they were all hiding something.

At that moment, he turned his back and walked back to his car, Shawn watched his Alpha's actions with a confused look, wondering what his best friend was up to.

"Get in the car, Shawn,"

"Alpha we__"

A single glare from Xander was enough to shut his Beta up who immediately adhered to the words of his Alpha.

The car sprinted in front of everyone, as Xander drove off at full speed. This was strange to Xander because he only met her last night and had not even marked her yet, how the fuck! Was his wolf able to feel her emotions,

Xander simply allowed his instincts to control him at that point, Axel whimpered constantly in his head.

"Alpha, where are we headed?" Shawn inquired with a perplexed look on his face, Xander never said a word, but only drove at full speed. Finally, he drove to a location with an open field, where a car was parked too, Xander and Shawn got out of the car, and at that moment the sweet scent of his mate hit his nostrils, making both Xander and his wolf growl. However, the sound of a woman screaming echoed, bringing him out of his thoughts, Both he and his Beta ran toward the noise, nevertheless, the sight that welcomed Xander frightened him.

His mate was held by two male werewolves, and she was entirely naked, tears gushing out her eyes as she tried to struggle out of their hold, Another werewolf was on top of her petite silhouette attempting to rape her.

"Get your filthy hands off my mate!!"

His voice resounds bringing everyone's attention to him, both he and Axel saw red currently as they attack these men.

In a split second, Xander shifted partially his claws out as he ran in their direction, The agonizing sounds of men being slashed to their deaths sufficed the area.

Blood now filled the ground, Shawn attacked just one of the men who was still alive while Xander slaughtered the other two in a second. Blood dripped down his hands as he let their dead body drop to the ground with a thud. His eyes were the color of his wolf, as he turned to stare at his shivering mate.

Xander walked up to her in slow strides, Shawn had his back turned against her because she was as bare as the day she was born. Her little sobs were the only sound she was able to make.

Xander quietly took off his shirt and then placed it on her body, covering her body up before picking her up in his arms, she was so lightweight in his arms, she buried her face in his chest as he walked back to the car.

Xander held her close to him, and the entire time her body shivered with anxiety, his eyes trailed down her skin, and he growled at the fresh blotches he found on her skin. Who on earth did this to her? He wondered.

"Alpha, what is the plan?" Shawn questions through the mind link, bringing Xander out of his thoughts,

"I have to get my mate back to the hotel first, and then I want you to find out who these men are and also why my mate has no fucking Identity in her pack."

Xander drove back to the hotel with Abigail in his arms, while Shawn went ahead to dig up information.

The second Xander arrived he moved straight to the bathroom of his suite, with his mate still in his arms, he tried to place her down, but she shook her head, not wanting to let go.

"It's okay you are safe here, nobody is ever going to hurt you again,"

Abigail held on tight to her mate, with her hands and legs wrapped around him, her actions made him sigh deeply. Axel was quiet the entire time since they found her, he watched what was displayed through Xander's eyes.

Without a word, Xander walked with her still in his arms toward the tub and filled it with warm water, he then gently peeled off her hands that gripped him tight by his neck, After taking the shirt off her body, Xander helped her into the bathtub.

Several thoughts ran through his mind, seeing her naked in front of him with only both of them behind closed doors stirred up his desire to have a taste of her; however, he shook that thought out of his head, knowing she was not in the right frame of mind for whatever he craved.

He decided to leave her alone to wash up, to offer her time on her own, but instead, her hands halted him as he felt the electric sparks that ignite when the skin of fated mates touch one another on his skin making him groan at the feeling. Abigail's eyes had tears in them as she gazed at his face,

"Please stay, I am scared."

Her voice came out as a whisper, Xander stilled in his tracks, his eyes searching hers too and for a moment there he felt his heart skip.

Quickly he strips naked in front of his mate, Abigail looks ahead trying to evade catching a glimpse of his naked body, and Xander chuckles at her actions, He steps into the tub with his gaze still on her face and notices how red her cheek has turned, he growled lowly when his eyes move down to her face and notice her biting her lip.

The sound startled her for a second making Abigail stare in surprise,

"Fuck I'm sorry if I scared you with that,"

Abigail simply nodded her head at her mate whose eyes roamed over her body with lust evident in his eyes.

Xander extended his hands and immediately pulled her toward himself, making her exclaim at his sudden action, "Relax baby girl,"

Abigail closed her eyes as her entire body trembled in bliss with his touch, Xander had offered to assist her in washing up, and he took No for an answer, so she let him do what he wanted.

Everything felt foreign to Abigail, Nobody had ever treated her in this way apart from her parents, and she loved the feeling.

After all her suffering at the hands of her pack, finally, she was going to be set free. At least so she thought.
