Perfect Growth: From Cinderella To Princess! Chapter 1

As I returned home through the snow and saw my brother, Zachary Parker, looking smug, I knew something was wrong.

Sure enough, my room was rummaged through and messed up.

My various clothes, shoes, and books were mixed together like garbage and thrown on the floor.

They were just like the first half of my ridiculous life.

Garbage didn't matter anyway.

I lost my admission ticket and passport.

However, I was going to take the graduate record examination tomorrow.

It was the only chance I could take.

Just as I went out to ask Zachary, our parents happened to return home.

"Where's my admission ticket? Did you hide it again? Hurry up and give it back to me. I'm taking an exam tomorrow."

I urged Zachary, who was sitting on the sofa.

My mother, Patricia, said, "So what if you don't go to grad school? We've already paid for you to finish college. People of your age have already had children who are even in kindergarten, so you should be grateful. Hurry up and find a man to have your own kids, and that's what women are for.

"Since you didn't get a rich man in college, we've already found you a job, and you'll get five thousand dollars a month for working as a salesman at the mall. Zachary's tuition is high, but we don't have any money left at home. If you go to work, you'll support our family."

"Right," Zachary, who was ignoramus, chimed in, "The tuition for grad school is tens of thousands of dollars a year, and you have no job. Mom and Dad need to support you for that expense. Olivia, they had supported you through college, so don't be ungrateful, and don't be a vampire."

"Who's the vampire between us?"

With that, I subconsciously took a step forward. My father, Tom, thought I was going to hurt Zachary, so he slapped me straight across the face.

Zachary and I were two years apart in age.

Tom and Patricia had miscarried five children before I was born, and they gave birth to me because they wrongly thought I was a boy, but they didn't realize that I was still a girl.

In order to get a boy, I hadn't been breastfed a single day after I was born.

With their efforts, Patricia got pregnant immediately after I was one month old.

At that time, they even went to make sure that it would definitely be a son.

Patricia had no breast milk when she got pregnant.

During that time, our family was not well off, so they would feed me milk sometimes, but I just drank water most of the time.

Due to Patricia's reaction to pregnancy sickness, she took care of me very perfunctorily.

She would feed me some milk when she remembered it, but if she didn't, I would have to be hungry.

As far as they were concerned, if a girl died, they wouldn't have to raise her.

Patricia thought it was too annoying for me to cry, so she threw me in the next room where I couldn't disturb the boy in her belly.

Her son had to be the best.

Ten months later, Zachary was indeed born.

They were overjoyed and dropped me off directly at my grandparents' house in the country.

The time being in the country was the only normal life I have ever experienced.

Tom and Patricia didn't take me home until I was in elementary school.

They brought me home under the pretense that it was for school, but the truth was that I could take care of Zachary.

Zachary had also to go to school. They were afraid that children would be too naughty and bully Zachary, so they wanted me to help Zachary fight when he was bullied.

Life in the countryside was hard, but I was happy.

The teachers tried their best to teach us everything, and I was praised as a wonder child by a teacher at that time.

Because I had learned the knowledge of the third grade.

When Tom and Patricia said they were taking me home for school, my teacher had all the best fantasies about my future.

However, no one expected them to take me home as they made me and Zachary classmates.

I became Zachary's nanny and bodyguard.

The older child was expected to contribute to the family, and I should watch over their son at all times.

I became a free nanny for twenty-four hours.
