My Wife Forced Me to Give Her First Love a Blood Transfusion Chapter 1

My grandmother lay in the hospital bed, and her biggest wish before she died was to see me marry the richest woman in the city.

But on the day of the wedding, she suddenly disappeared. My grandmother, distressed, had a relapse and left me forever with regret.

That night, I knelt before her body and finally received a call from Isabella Johnson.

But she said, "Learn to bark like a dog for thirty seconds."

On the other end of the line came a sharp, mocking laugh. I was so enraged that my body trembled, and I couldn't help but ask, "Is this your reason for abandoning me?"

Soon, the phone was taken over by her childhood sweetheart, Herman Ziegler.

"It's just a joke. Isabella lost a bet and had to drink for me. If you can't take a joke, just consider it as our drunken nonsense."

After the call was abruptly ended, I received a photo of a private room from Herman.

In the past, I might have kept calling and sending messages to question her.

After I left without saying goodbye, she panicked and looked for me everywhere.

She said that she was wrong and she couldn't live without me.

I held my grandmother's urn without crying or making a fuss and walked into the funeral home to have the ceremony.

No one came.

It was because I was the person that Isabella, the richest woman in Ashtonvale, hated the most.

She hated me so much that she wanted to escape the wedding, abandon me on our wedding night to attend a singles party and humiliate me by making me bark like a dog in front of my grandmother's body.

In fact, I was not surprised at all that Isabella left me for Herman.

I was just the blood transfusion tool prepared by Isabella for her childhood sweetheart.

But I never expected that she would ignore Grandma's dying wish, run away from the wedding, and cause Grandma to have a heart attack from the distress, leading to her death despite rescue efforts.

Following Grandma's last wish, I placed a photo of her and Grandpa from when they were young and married.

After kneeling on the ground for a long time, preparing to take Grandma for burial, I suddenly saw Isabella and Herman.

"Isabella, will anyone come to the kitten's funeral?"

Herman held an urn in his arms and asked.

Isabella beside him soothed softly, "Yes, it will. The kitten is also our family. I have asked my assistant to notify everyone. It will be given a grand funeral."

The kitten's funeral was packed with guests, but there was not a single person at my grandmother's funeral.

I suppressed the bitterness in my heart and wanted to walk away, but Isabella had already seen me.

"You're stalking me," Isabella said firmly.

It was such a coincidence to run into each other in a place like the funeral home. She naturally suspected that I was stalking her.

I didn't want to waste time with her, so I turned my gaze away and tried to leave, but Herman stopped me.

He smiled brightly with obvious provocation in his eyes.

"Noah, please don't be angry. That night, I lost a game at my bachelor party, and Isabella played the game for me. It wasn't meant to humiliate you.

Since you're here, why don't you attend my kitten's funeral?"

How ridiculous!

She had to attend Herman's bachelor party, so she abandoned me and ran away from the wedding in front of everyone.

Because she had to play the game for Herman, she chose me, the least important person to humiliate.

However, it was only self-mockery. There were no other emotions left in my heart.

I met her gaze coldly and said, "No, stay out of my way!"

As soon as I finished speaking, Isabella had already protected Herman behind her, looking as if I had bullied him.

"Noah Wilson! Can't you speak properly?"

In the past, I would have argued with her, but now, I had no desire to speak with her at all.

She could think whatever she wanted. I was tired.

"Okay. Please make way."

I turned and walked away. Behind me, Isabella's expression was somewhat stunned.

It was the first time I left quietly without making a fuss because she protected Herman.

She took a few steps and grabbed my wrist.

"Whose urn is this? You're not going to steal a random urn just to stalk me, are you?"

The stalking she referred to was the misinterpreting of my repeated calls for help after fainting from palpitations due to multiple blood transfusions as attempts to track her movements.

It was when I went to the company building to ask her to see my grandmother one last time after receiving multiple critical condition notices that she misunderstood it as me trying to create a chance encounter.

I looked at her arrogant expression and wanted to explain.

But despair swept through my body, and I couldn't open my mouth or make a sound.

Whatever. Isabella had never listened to my explanation seriously.

I didn't want to waste time with them, so I shook off her hand.

Isabella frowned unconsciously and stopped me forcefully, shouting, "Noah, what's gotten into you today? Was it just because I left early at the wedding? Herman has already explained it to you. What more do you want?"

"Does an explanation mean forgiveness? Isabella, stop playing the victim. We no longer have any relationship, so it's not your place to tell me anything," I said calmly.

Isabella was selfish and arrogant because she was the richest person, and everyone would do what she wanted.

I used to do the same thing, giving blood transfusions to Herman and being her secret boyfriend.

I had cursed myself countless times for being as humble and subservient as a dog, a mere tool for blood transfusions.

But deep down, I knew that I loved Isabella. I even shamelessly found a twisted sense of relief in the fact that my grandmother's illness allowed me to continue entangling with her.

Now, my grandmother died, and the ridiculous bond between Isabella and I was completely severed.

Running away from marriage and humiliation completely shattered my love for her.

I looked at Isabella and said coldly, "Let's get a divorce."
