Killed by My Husband Chapter 1

In my previous life, I had a difficult delivery, but my husband refused to sign for a cesarean section.

That time, the critical illness notice was issued seven times when I scratched the sheets in the ward. But my husband firmly disagreed with the cesarean section.

In the end, my child and I were killed, while my husband lived a happy life with his new little family.

Fortunately, I had a chance to get reborn because of my deep resentment toward my husband.

“You scumbag, go to hell!”

——

"Family members of the 15th bed, have you considered it? The patient can't wait any longer. If we don't perform an operation, both the children and adults will be in danger."

Everyone in the obstetrics department was frantic with anxiety, but my husband Andre Holt, tightened his lips and said nothing.

The attending doctor, Dr. Hayes almost cried when he explained, "Human life is at stake, please hurry up and sign. What's the big deal? Is this because of money?"

The head nurse also choked with sobs when she said, "The patient really can't hold on any longer. Sign it quickly. I'll help pay for it if the problem is money, Sir."

But Andre was like a statue, sitting there silently.

My belly was so painful that I felt like being stabbed by thousands of daggers, so I begged him with tears, "Andre, sign it quickly, please. Just do it for the sake of the baby, okay?"

The people in the next bed were also angry that he yelled, "Are you still a man? Your wife and children are about to die, just hurry up and sign."

Andre glanced at us, but he seemed to not care and just checked on his phone.

In the end, I asked the doctor with difficulty, "Dr. Hayes, can I sign it myself?"

Dr. Hayes shook his head with tears in his eyes. In the end, I could only lay on the hospital bed, looking at the ceiling and crying.

The pain in my body was no longer as hurt as the pain in my heart. After all, my critical illness notification was issued seven times, but Andre still firmly refused to sign.

The husband in the bed next door grabbed his arm and said, "Sign it, Sir. Please sign it quickly."

The doctor shook his head and advised, "It's useless. If he didn't sign it voluntarily, it won’t be counted."

My breathing became weaker and weaker, even the fetal heartbeat was almost inaudible.

In the end, the doctor was forced to call the police. But Andre had not committed any crime, so the police could only persuade him.

Andre's reason changed from worrying about doctors cheating him out of money to worrying about affecting the baby's intelligence.

That made the policeman so angry until he yelled, "You are so worried about the intelligence of the baby? Your wife and baby are about to die. Do you know that? That's two lives."

The doctor also tried his best to educate him and told him that there was not much difference between a baby delivered by cesarean section and a baby born naturally. But Andre still insisted on his opinion.

Suddenly the machine screamed loudly as my eyelids were getting heavier. That made the doctors and nurses in a mess.

After struggling for an unknown amount of time, the doctor announced, "The mother and baby in bed No. 15 died. Time of death…."

Perhaps because of too much hatred, my soul floated next to Andre after my death. So, when the doctor pronounced me dead, the imperceptible smile on the corner of his lips fell clearly into my eyes.

I didn't understand why he did this to me.

For him, I would not hesitate to break up with my family and marry thousands of miles away.

For him, I gave him the offer I had worked so hard to get.

For him, I was like a tireless person, working hard during the day and taking care of their family like a nanny at night.

So, I really didn't understand why he did this to me.

After all, I still carried his flesh and blood in my belly, right?

But this question would soon have an answer.

The day after my death Andre and my mother-in-law knelt down in the hospital hall and cried while holding my portrait. It turned out that they put all the responsibility on the hospital and the doctors.

Dr. Hayes and the head nurse were so angry that they cursed. They also tried to reveal the truth, but netizens only wanted to believe what they saw first.

That was Andre's wife, who was about to give birth to a child, died.

No one wanted to believe that human nature could be so evil, like Andre and his mother, that were seeking advantages from tragedy.

In the end, the hospital was forced to compensate Andre for 40,000 dollars.

Soon, after Andre and my mother-in-law got the money, the wrinkles on their faces burst into laughter.
