I Loop In the Day I was Killed Chapter 1

Would you believe me if I told you that I was stuck on the same day and had died numerous times? Maybe you wouldn't, but that was what I was going through.

Early in the morning, I was woken up by my alarm clock and the time displayed on my phone was September 20, 2021, which was my birthday.

At the same time, there was a text message on my phone, which said, [Chloe, don't forget the birthday party tonight. I'm waiting for you.]

The person who sent the message was my best friend Molly. She held a birthday party for me tonight, saying that it was kind of my last bash before I ended my single life.

Yes, I was getting married.

But Molly didn't know that my boyfriend and I broke up last night, because I caught him and his female boss having an affair on the spot.

And I knew that in the company where he worked, romantic relationships between colleagues were not allowed. Once discovered, both parties would be immediately dismissed.

But I didn't want to deal with these things. I dressed up beautifully and went out.

I didn't expect that as soon as I went out, I saw my boyfriend David Winston waiting downstairs. As soon as he saw me, he immediately ran up and grabbed my arm, "Chloe, listen to me explain. What happened last night wasn't what you saw!"

I smiled, "You and your female boss took off your clothes. Do you want to tell me that you were just chatting? Come on, save that nonsense for a three-year-old."

I shook off David and walked forward, but there happened to be a speeding car coming towards me, not avoiding me.

It wasn't until my body flew in a parabolic arc in mid-air and fell heavily to the ground that I reacted.

Ah!

I jumped up from the bed. I could clearly feel my heartbeat accelerating, and when I wiped my forehead, it was covered with sweat.

I looked around and realized that I was in my own bed.

Was everything that just happened a dream?

But this dream felt so real that it made me break out in a cold sweat.

At that moment, a text message came to my phone, saying, [Chloe, don't forget the birthday party tonight. I'm waiting for you.]

Hmm? Why was this text message so familiar?

Right. It appeared in that dream I just had.

But soon, I was surprised again because the time displayed on the phone was September 20, 2021.

This...

Everything happening in front of me was like a copy of my dream.

If we went by this, did it mean that David was waiting for me downstairs and then a car would run me over afterward?

I had just experienced death once in my dream, and that fear was enough to suffocate me.

But despite that, I still went out the door.

As expected, as soon as I went downstairs, I saw David waiting there. I already knew what he was going to say, so I didn't bother to chat with him and just said, "David, we don't need to say anything anymore. We're breaking up."

And then, a car toward me sped over. Because I had foreknowledge, I cleverly avoided it. This time, I didn't die in a car accident.

I didn't see the person who drove the car. Because of my dodge just now, I saw the car about to hit David, but turned around in the nick of time!

I realized that the death I dreamed of in the 'dream' was not accidental, but a deliberate murder!

So, who was the one who wanted to run me over?

Could it be David?

It was very likely. Because David was about to be promoted, and when I caught him and his female boss having an affair last night, I said I would report it to the top management of the company.

If the top management of the company knew about his affair with his female boss, his promotion would be ruined.

I couldn't help but shudder. If it was really as I guessed, then David was the most dangerous person that I must stay away from!

Not caring about anything else, I immediately ran to the bus and got on it.

I was only slightly relieved when I had left David a long way away.

It was the morning rush hour, and the bus was crowded. I was squeezed into the corner by many strong men.

Suddenly, a big hand tightly covered my mouth. I just reacted and wanted to struggle, but then I felt a pain in my waist. I clearly felt a sharp knife stabbing into my body...
