I Died the Day My Best Friend Framed Me Chapter 1

I was Isabella Davis' foolish best friend.

She cheated with another man. She said she was with me.

She paid for male escorts. But she claimed she paid on my behalf. She also said I coaxed her into getting a massage at an unlicensed place.

After she got pregnant by accident. She cried to her boyfriend and said, "It was Harper who set me up to be raped."

Her boyfriend got so mad that he stabbed me to death.

After being reborn, her boyfriend came straight to my door.

But this time, I started a livestream.

"Hey everyone, this is a real-life horror game! Come help me out. They say someone's hiding in my house, but I just can't find them!"

"Ah, no! You must have the wrong person!"

I screamed and woke up from the nightmare. I was drenched in cold sweat.

I opened my eyes and looked around. That's when I realized, I had been reborn.

Just then, my phone rang urgently.

I picked it up and saw that it was Leo Parker calling. There were 26 missed calls from him.

Leo was my best friend, Isabella's boyfriend. They were about to get engaged.

I steadied myself, trying to shake off the bad memories in my mind.

"Hello? What's up?" I said.

But on the other end, I heard him cursing me out.

"Harper, I've never seen a friend like you. My wedding is the day after tomorrow, and you still won't let Isabella go home. Are you deliberately trying to ruin our wedding?

"Let me tell you, Isabella might be easy to bully, but I'm not. If you've got mental problems, find your own family to bother. Leave Isabella out of it," he said.

Leo's relentless rant caught me completely off guard.

In disbelief, I checked my chat history. That's when I saw Isabella's message from the night before, asking me to cover for her while she went out of town with her lover.

Memories from my past life flooded back. In my past life, Isabella had cheated with her lover but blamed it all on me.

She told him, "Harper was too scared to be home alone, so I had to stay with her. That's why I missed our wedding dress fitting day."

Leo was furious. He came to my office and cursed me out.

Later, Isabella bought me a coffee and brushed the whole thing off.

After that day, I nearly cut ties with Isabella. But she kept using my name to deceive Leo, which eventually led to my tragic death.

After quickly processing my emotions, I set my phone aside, letting Leo continue to yell.

Leo had been angrily cursing me out. When he realized I wasn't responding, he started to panic.

"Hello? What's going on? Say something! Where did you take Isabella?" he shouted.

Watching Leo get more and more anxious, I decisively hung up the phone. I even switched it to airplane mode.

In my past life, I tried to be the good guy. So, I lied for Isabella. But it only brought disaster upon me.

This time, I chose to ignore it.

I had another chance at life. I wasn't going to waste it on people like them.

I hummed a tune as I started my morning routine. I wasn't going to let them ruin my beauty sleep.

But just as I finished putting on my face mask, my brother texted me.

[Harper, stay home and don't open the door. I'm on my way!]

[Someone's livestreaming and badmouthing you, and they're on their way to your place!]
