He Suffered From Depression After I Died Chapter 1

In the third year after I married Robert Park, we had our first fight.

He slapped me to the ground and questioned me in anger, "Cathy, why wasn't it you who died that year?"

Later he took Winnie Lauren who he really loved back.

I also listened to him and left the Park family.

As he wished, I would not appear in front of him again later.

Robert slapped me in the face.

I looked up at his handsome face calmly and said, "Let's get a divorce."

Robert looked grim and stared at me in disbelief, saying, "What did you say?"

I bent down and took out the divorce agreement from the drawer. I felt so heartbroken as if a stone was scratching my heart.

I handed him the agreement and hid the diagnosis.

"Since you thought me disgusting, let's get a divorce. From now on, you have nothing to do with me, and you don't have to be deal with a disgusting person like me anymore."

When I handed over the agreement was handed over, it was thrown to the ground.

I, who was holding the agreement, also fell to the ground.

I felt dizzy for a moment.

Before I could stand up again, Robert grabbed my chin tightly and said, "Cathy, what are you planning now? Do you think I dare not sign it?"

I closed my eyes and forced myself to look up at him provocatively with a smile, saying, "Who knows? Maybe you don't dare."

Not surprisingly, he looked extremely grim.

He looked at her with disgust.

I slapped his hand away and went upstairs to pack my things.

Before leaving, I couldn't help but look at the photo on the bedside table.

That was a photo taken when Robert and I were young, and our parents were also in it.

I was only six years old in the photo, and Robert was eight years old.

He stood beside me and looked at me with a smile. Our parents stood behind us and looked at him jokingly. Only I was looking at the camera and grinning.

At that time, Robert was still a gentle and polite boy.

But now, every time he saw me, he looked at me in disgust.

I probably would never come back again this time.

After thinking about it, I walked over and stuffed the photo into my backpack.

Even with the photo, my backpack was still quite empty. Besides being a little older, it looked the same as it was when I just entered the Park family.

At that time, I was still confident that even if my parents were gone, Robert would still protect me and always be by my side.

Mary, who took care of me, was standing downstairs, looking at me anxiously.

She wanted to persuade me, but when she saw Robert's gloomy expression, she didn't dare to say anything.

I went downstairs with my bag.

Robert sat on the sofa, reading a newspaper in his hand.

He was no longer angry but indifferent.

I walked over and picked up the agreement on the table.

After confirming that he had signed, I felt a lot more relieved.

I even sounded a little happy, "I will wait for you to finish the divorce procedure at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning."

He still didn't speak.

I had known him for fifteen years, and I knew he was still angry now.

He was angry that I irritated him and forced him to sign.

But so what?

I didn't want to be his wife anymore. It had been three years, and it was enough.

I changed my shoes at the entrance, opened the door, and walked out quickly.

Robert seemed to can't stand it anymore and threw the cup hard at my feet.

His furious voice came from behind, "Get out and never come back. Cathy, don't regret it!"

The hot coffee splashed onto my calves, causing stinging pain.

My hand shivered slightly.

But I walked out the door without hesitation.

After I went out, I found that it was raining outside.

I smiled bitterly. Now I had nothing to do with Robert anymore, so I shouldn't go back to get an umbrella.

It was just a rain. I would rather drenched to death outside than dying in that empty villa.

I walked into the rain with my backpack.

Robert's angry voice came from behind, "Get rid of all her stuff. Even her hair should be burned!"

The heavy rain soon blurred my vision.

I smiled with self-deprecation.

Robert and I had been married for three years. Except for a few pieces of clothing I brought three years ago, the rest of my stuff was all sent by Robert's men.

Everyone admired his love for me, but no one knew that every piece of clothing and accessories he sent me was locked with a combination lock.

If I wanted to wear or use them, I had to ask Robert's secretary and tell him my purpose and when I was going to use them.

There was water all over my face.

For a moment I couldn't tell whether it was my tears or rain.

An hour later, I got in a taxi.

Fortunately, the driver was willing to give me a ride for the sake of money, so I didn't freeze to death on the mountain road.

"Why did you leave home so late at night? Your parents must be so worried.

"Listen, call your parents when you arrive. Don't let them worry."

Listening to the driver's words, I didn't defend myself.

It had been many years since anyone cared about me like he did.

After my parents died, my family's company was divided up by my uncles, but they also left me a few properties.

One of them was not far from the company of Robert, and it was the closest one to Robert's villa.

I entered the code on the door lock.

But I was reminded that the password was wrong for three times.

I frowned and went to input my fingerprint, but as expected, I couldn't open the door.

Just when I was about to try again, the door was opened from the inside.

The nanny frowned at me, and when she recognized me, she calmly blocked me with her body.

I was soaked, carrying an old backpack, and shivering all over.

I said, "Let me in, I'm cold."

The nanny didn't move and said with an embarrassed look, "Ms. Perry, Mr. Park said you are not allowed to live here."

I stood there, confused for a moment.

But after seeing the nanny's uneasy look, I was sure that I had not heard it wrongly.

I frowned, thinking that Robert was crazy. I said, "This is the house my parents left me. He and I are divorced, so he has no right to ask me to leave here."

The nanny didn't dare to look at me and said, "Ms. Perry, this house now belongs to Mr. Park."

I closed my eyes.

There was no wind, but I felt chilling in my heart.
