"Alice?"
The man on the bed opened his eyes and looked at the empty space in his arms. His amber eyes were a little uneasy.
Every day when he opened his eyes, his woman would always be in his arms and say good morning to him with a smile.
The man turned over and sat up. The black quilt slipped down on his waist, revealing his proud honey figure. After looking around the bedroom with his amber eyes, the handsome face with mixed features suddenly showed a sense of surprise.
His Alice had never left his sight in the morning. It was strange today.
He stood up and walked to the French window. The man stretched out his hand to open the thick curtain. The morning sunshine instantly poured into the luxurious bedroom decorated in the European style castle.
Looking out of the window at the manor, the band was singing elegantly. The white roses were blooming. The man looked down at the flower path, trying to find the figure of his beloved woman.
Today was the day of his wedding with Alice Brown. The manor was bustling with people, gathering the bigwigs of the two gangs in the world.
He was the CEO of the Smith group. A sneeze would shake the earth. There was no need to hide his identity. The group was the The Empire State Building of the underworld in the world, and he, Lyman, was the unruly and fearful king in the Empire.
"Knock, knock, knock..."
"Come in."
Suddenly there was a gentle knock on the door. Lyman Smith didn't turn around but said in a low voice.
"Mr President, miss Alice's image team is here...."
Cathy Jones looked around the room and found that there was only one person in the room. She stopped before she finished his words. As long as Lyman returned to the ancient castle, Alice Brown would stay with him.
As Alice's personal follower, she came to ask Alice if she had gotten up, which meant that Alice Brown was not in the Manor!
"Find her out..."
The light and shadows floated, and the fragrance of white roses under the windowsill floated. Lyman's voice was as cold as his insidious, indifferent and brutal voice to the world.
The distinguished guests of Lyman's manor were all in high spirits, and there was a stir in the dark.
In less than an hour, a disk was sent to Lyman.
"Mr President, this is the video from the monitoring room. Miss Alice left..."
Cathy Jones led Evan, the chief of the security department in the monitoring room of Lyman Smith's manor, to stand in front of the gloomy Lyman.
In front of the window, the man in the latest customized Armani suit waved his hand, and the white porcelain vase on the table fell to the ground with a bang.
Taking a deep breath, Cathy said, "Mr President, I think it's a good thing that miss Alice left voluntarily. You know she has bad intentions. She is a killer and wants to kill you!"
"Fuck off!"
Lyman Smith's low voice was more frightening than his roar.
"I will Shut up!"
After a short pause,Cathy turned around and left the dormitory with Evan, who was shivering.
"I was scared to death!" Evan stood on the luxurious corridor, holding his heart with his hands.
On the other hand, Amanda shouted angrily, "it's lucky for you to be alive. How could Alice Brown leave under eyessuch a big security department?"
" as you know, the wedding of the president will be held in a few days. There are so many people going out and in..."
"Well, you don't have to find an excuse!"
Frowning, Cathy turned around and was about to leave. She stopped again and said, "cheer up today. I've heard that someone has sold the CEO's life for one billion dollars in this wedding banquet!"
"Yes..."
"Bang..."
Before Evan finished his words, there was a burst of gunshot, mixed with the screams outside the manor.
"Security chief, hurry up!" Looking at Evan who was standing aside, Cathy shouted angrily.
Outside the manor, there were more than a hundred killers. They wanted to kill Lyman Smith, the highest price in the world.
It was a big bounty. As long as Lyman Smith was alive, it was there! The mysterious man invested at a price of one hundred million increase each time. So Lyman Smith became the most attractive honey.
In the bedroom, Lyman Smith loosened his tie inlaid with blue diamonds and sank into the sofa. Listening to the gunshots outside the window, he felt like listening to the beautiful singing of the opera in Rome. His slender fingertips were twisting a crystal cup, and the wine in the cup was dark red like blood. Looking at the photo on the wall, he sank his eyes and swallowed the blood in one gulp.
"Alice, you love me, right? That's why you left!"
