Four Bikers Alphas And Their Broken Omega. Chapter 1

Elara

"Where's that good for nothing omega?" My mother's voice echoed down the hallway of the bridal suite. "Is she dressed already?"

My hands tightened on my wedding gown. Margaret, my mother stood in the doorway, her eyes roamed my body with part disgust and part satisfaction. I kept my eyes fixed on the mirror, watching Serena's manicured fingers pin the veil into my hair.

"Look at her," Margaret continued, stepping fully inside the room. "She's trembling like a frightened pup. People will think she was forced into this marriage."

I glared at her. "You..."

"Do you think a wolf worth their fur would claim a weakling like you?" She cut me off.

I bit my lower lip and that was why she had to sell me to a human right? A fucking human?

Serena, my stepsister hummed in agreement, her blue eyes glinting with satisfaction. "The dress hides the trembling nicely, though. Damian won't notice until it's too late."

I swallowed the lump in my throat and said nothing. I had learned years ago that responding only prolonged the torment. Silence was the best answer.

Margaret grabbed my chin and forced my face toward hers, her bony fingers digging into my jaw. "You will walk down that aisle. You will say your vows. And you will make sure Damian signs those business contracts before the reception ends. Do you understand me, omega?"

I nodded because I had no other choice. "Yes, Mother."

The title tasted like poison in my mouth. She wasn't my mother. She was the woman who had stolen me from my dying mother when I was eight and had raised me as a servant rather than a daughter. She spent two decades convincing me I was worthless because my wolf had never surfaced. An omega. The lowest of the low. Unworthy of a pack. Unworthy of love.

Serena adjusted my veil one last time and stepped back to admire her work. "There. Almost pretty."

I rolled my eyes at the backhanded compliment. I couldn't wait for this day to end. My gaze drifted out the window. I thought about Rachel, my childhood friend, the only friend that had ever looked at me and seen something other than a defect.

I closed my eyes and imagined her voice.

"You're not worthless, Elara. You're just surrounded by monsters who want you to believe you are. One day, you'll run and when you do, I'll be right with you."

She wasn't with me though. She was dying and the trust fund that would save her life was being held hostage by Margaret. That was the only reason I was standing in this wedding dress, allowing my stepsister and adoptive mother to dress me like a sacrificial lamb.

Margaret clapped her hands, summoning the attention of everyone in the room. "The ceremony starts in twenty minutes. Serena, finish her makeup. I need to greet the guest."

She swept off the room without looking back. The door clicked shut behind her.

Serena leaned close to my ear, her breath warm against my ears. "If you embarrass me today, I will make your life a living hell."

Then she straightened, the corner of her lips turning up. "I'll be back in five minutes. I need to check on something."

I sat in silence for five minutes and then ten minutes... Serena still wasn't back.

If I got to the hall late... I shook my head. I couldn't face the wrath of my mother.

She was supposed to follow me into the hall. I stood up and stepped into the hallway. The mansion was buzzing with the noise of the wedding, maids carrying trays, distant laughter from the garden where guests had already gathered. I caught a server by the arm.

"Have you seen Serena? My stepsister? Blonde, tall, wearing a champagne colored dress?"

The server shook his head. "Haven't seen her, ma'am. Sorry. "

I passed a group of gossiping women near the staircase. They hadn't seen her. I sighed. I asked the wedding planner too but she brushed me off with an irritated wave and then I decided to ask one of Damian's friends.

"She might be in the east wing," he said. A knot tightened in my stomach. That was where Damian's private study was located.

I walked faster, packing my dress in my hands. My heart hammered against my ribs for reasons I couldn't understand.

I stopped in front of the door, slightly opened. And I heard it. A soft, breathy moan. I froze.

My hands trembled as I reached for the door. I didn't push it open. Instead, I pressed my eyes to the crack, my heart pounding so violently I was certain they would hear it.

Serena was bent over the armchair. Her dress was bunched around her waist. Damian stood behind her, his suit trousers pooled at his ankles, his hands gripping her hips with bruising force.

The betrayal should have broken me but what came next was worse.

"God, she's so pathetic," Serena gasped, her voice trembling with pleasure and malice. "Walking around like a wounded puppy. She actually thinks this marriage is real."

Damian laughed. "The omega doesn't think anything. That's the beauty of if. She's so desperate for approval, she'll do anything Margaret says including handing over her inheritance like the good little dog she is."

Serena burst into laughter.

"Let's not talk about her, alright?" He said, still thrusting into her. "marrying her wouldn't change anything. I've been getting this pussy for three years, not a little pathetic girl would change that."

Three years.

I couldn't breathe. My entire world tilted. The floor seemed to drop out from under me and I pressed my hand against the wall to steady myself.

They had planned this. All of it. The marriage, the trust fund... It was all a carefully orchestrated scheme to strip me of everything and leave me to rot.

I swallowed. I pulled out my phone from the hidden pocket I had sewn into my dress. I raised it to the crack in the door and snapped.
