In order to buy rare cuff links for my husband as a birthday gift, I took my daughter to a foreign country to attend a black market auction.
Before the auction started, I received a call from the company and was asked to hold a video conference.
I specifically told my daughter to buy a gift for her father, even if she had to light a sky lantern.
But when I returned to the venue, my daughter had been made into a human statue and placed on the exhibition stand.
Her whole body was covered with plaster and her eyes were full of fear when she looked at me. I screamed and wanted to rush over, but was slapped to the ground.
“How dare a little bastard snatching things from me?! You are really looking for death! Don’t you like lighting sky lanterns so much? Then I will let you light them enough!”
She asked someone to bring a stone hammer and hit my daughter once for every bid on the spot. The plaster peeled off with the skin and my daughter screamed and fainted.
I wanted to call the police with trembling hands, but someone hit me on the shoulder with a hammer.
“You want to call the police? Even if God comes today, he can’t save you! This is the territory of Richards Group and my husband, Damon, is the one in charge here!”
I sneered while holding back the severe pain. Damon changed his surname on the first day of marrying into my family to show his loyalty.
But now he was so ignorant that he dared to keep a woman behind my back. She was right. Richards Group had absolute control over this place. But what she didn’t know was that I was the one in charge here!

Amidst the laughter, the woman named Jessica took out a card and smashed it in my face.

With every hit, the plaster on her body would peel off, tearing off a large piece of flesh and blood. They hit her more than ten times until there was no intact flesh on my daughter.
Looking at my daughter, who looked like a human lying in a pool of blood and twitching constantly, I was so heartbroken that my body was trembling hard.
“Please, save my daughter. She is still a child!”
I begged desperately with trembling lips, but they laughed as if they had heard some big joke.
“Save her? Who dares to save her? She dares to offend Mr. Richards’s wife. She deserves such a miserable end!”
Even though my daughter had fainted from the pain, they still refused to let her go. Someone brought a basin of salt water with a flattering look and poured it over my daughter’s head.
The shrill screams made my heart tremble. I couldn’t help crying. My daughter rolled on the ground in pain, but still looked at me.
“Mom, don’t cry. I’m fine, really... It doesn’t hurt!”
How could it not hurt? This was a torture of skinning! I gritted my teeth and tried to touch her head with trembling hands.
