Rina stood by the door for a while, and she observes how Kiana entertains herself with the small cushion on the couch and the remote control. 

She was playing a skit that only she knows but when she noticed the presence of another person, she lifted her gaze.

The bored and sleepy eyes of the girl immediately turned brighter when she saw her aunt.

"Aunty Rin, Kiki is sweepy now but Anuty Lexi doesn't have piwwow here. Can you come cwuddle me pwease?" the little pup asked with a pout that resembles her omega Mother.

Rina smiles fondly at her. She knows that just like her omega mother, Kiana could not sleep without hugging something or someone. 

She nodded and went to pick her up from the carpeted floor before she let her lay on her lap.

"Come here baby. Aunty Rin will help you sleep." Rina uttered while letting the girl curl into her chest. She even felt her hand clenching her shirt as if she wanted to make sure she wasn’t going anywhere.

"Thank you Aunty Rin. Kiki Loves you." the little girl mumbles before slowly closing her eyes as if she knows that it will be her last message to her.

Her heart melted when she heard those words. She knows the little girl meant it because she knows how Kiana enjoys their play time together whenever Alex would allow her be with her. 

Rina sighs, she feels sorry for the little girl. She knows no one can stop Alex from carrying out her plans.

 She knows Cyrus would not be there to protect his little family again and her heart breaks knowing that for the second time, she would witness Aria break apart again when Alex kills Kiana in front of the omega.

The alpha female sighs as she holds the little girl's tiny hand that was not clenching her shirt.

"I'm sorry princess, Aunty Rin would not be able to protect you again." She whispers to her ears.

Back in the hospital, Dylan went back to the floor where the Prime Minister and Cyrus are. He activated the tracking  device he put in Aria but because he does not know what is really going on there, he has decided to tell Cyrus about it fast.

The Prime Minister seemed to be waiting for him when he arrived on the floor.

"Excuse me, young man  but may I know your name please and your relationship with Cyrus?" The prime minister asked politely.

Dylan swallowed. He has never thought there will come a time that he would be in a situation like this with the Prime Minister of the country. 

 He knows there's no use of lying or denying anymore. 

He also wants answers. 

He also wants to know where his real cousin is and what happened to the real Cyrus way back when they were little before Julius sent him to Europe. He also wanted to know the truth and he knew at that moment, Lucius can give him the answer.

"Cyrus...he...I guess he is the replacement uncle Julius took when he was little. My cousin, I mean the real Cyrus was a beta. We were just kids back then, but I knew that my cousin was a beta and not a pure blooded alpha. Sir, to be honest I don't know where uncle Julius took Cyrus, I mean this Cyrus but one thing I am sure about....Cyrus is not my cousin." Dylan says his hands shaking because he couldn't believe that after all these years he has been silent, he finally managed to speak up. He finally let the cat out of the bag.

The Prime Minister's eyes widened before he started to tear up.

 Dylan noticed how the old pure blood alpha clenched his fist. 

Lucius is beyond livid. 

His mind swiftly drifts to the past.

 A BETA! 

Julius Carter’s son is a beta, he knows he can never forgive that cunning alpha.

"The kid...the kid found on the fire with the Von Dorn- Thomson was a beta. H-how old was your cousin when you last saw him?" the Prime Minister asked in a calm voice but to Dylan it was obvious he was raging. 

The pure blood alpha's eyes are now crimson red so he knows that the Prime Minister is beyond mad already.

"Around 7...but he was a lot smaller than me back then and...wait a Fucking second! Sir, are you telling me that the kid who got burned and died with the Von Dorn- Thomson’s was not the heir but actually my c-cousin?" Dylan asked when the realization finally hit him.

Lucius could not say a word so he just nodded. His eyes still crimson red but he could not stop himself from tearing up knowing that another innocent child died because of greed and lust for power.

"I...what the hell!? Julius Carter is evil He's gonna kill everyone who's in his way to get the power he wants and--" 

"Dylan, where's Aria?" the Prime Minister suddenly asked him when he noticed the absence of the omega. THe older man knows his eldest son adores the omega so much that he was  ready to give his own life for her but knowing the probability that Cyrus is his long lost son, he knows that he should protect Aria even more.

The younger alpha's eyes widened when he remembered the current predicament. He even took a glance from his phone to check if the car where Aria was still moving before he replied to the old man.

 "Sir about that.. uhmmm--"

"Dylan Ross , young man, you have to tell me where my son's mate is right now?" Lucious’s eyes are still searching for answers when Dylan drops the bomb.

"They got her. I'm sorry sir but Ari---"

"What?! You let the omega out of..oh luna! Dylan you---"

"Wait what? Who went out alone?" a familiar voice of the pure blood alpha startled the two of them. Cyrus is still holding his right arm because after taking a small amount of blood for his tests, he also agreed to donate the blood Knight needed for his surgery so he's very dizzy. 

The nurse even tried to stop him from going out but he was worried about his mate and their daughter so he forced himself to stand up from the hospital bed so he could at least check on his mate. He knows how terrified Aria is right now so he wants to at least hold her hand and comfort her while they're waiting for an update or a call from Kiana’s abductor.

Dylan and the Prime Minister's eyes both widened when they saw Cyrus on his feet. He looks paler than a while ago so they know that the nurse probably extracted his blood for Knight. 

Lucius’s wolf can't help but howl in happiness now that he's sure that Cyrus is his long lost son.

As much as the Prime Minister wants to act normal in front of the younger pure blood, he wasn't able to stop himself when Cyrus was a few meters away from them. 

He pulled the young pure blood into a tight hug. Cyrus frowns at first but he just lets the old man hug him as if his wolf is also waiting for him.

"Thank you, for keeping yourself alive, for surviving." the Prime Minister whispered into his ears before he finally let him go.

Cyrus tilted his head when he's finally face to face with the Prime Minister.

"Sir, did you think I'll cry like a lost little boy just because of a needle? Of course I'll survive." Cyrus replied since he doesn't know the implication behind the old man's words.

Dylan who is witnessing the exchange of the father and son can't help but get emotional.

 He has always been proud of Cyrus despite the fact that he knows he isn't his real cousin. 

He truly loves and admires him and now that he finally learned where Cyrus came from, he finally fully understands why the pure blood is such a beautiful man inside out .

Cyrus isn't a Carter, he came from a noble and truly honorable family too and Dylan might still be grieving for his real cousin but he is now happy for Cyrus too.

 "So...where's Ria?" Cyrus suddenly asked when he couldn't sense the scent of his mate around.

The Prime Minister and Dylan give each other a knowing look before the younger alpha spoke up.

"She received a phone call from Alex. They have Kiana so ----"

"Please don't tell me you let her go there alone because i swear Dylan!"

"Cyrus I tried to stop her but---"

"Where's your fucking key? Where did she go? At least tell me you didn't let her unprotected because istg I'm gonna rip your heart out if---"

"CYRUS!" The Prime Minister shouts before he could hurt Dylan.

 He knows how protective Cyrus is because it runs in their blood but that doesn't mean he would let him hurt his cousin too.

"You don't understand. My mate and my pup are out there alone unprotected! We don't even have any idea where they are and we don't even know what that bitch could do to them! They almost killed Knight--your son just because he wanted to protect my family so please better stay out of this SIR." Cyrus is yelling at the Prime Minister also.

The security guards started to point their guns at the assemblyman to stop him from yelling at their boss.

"Put your guns down! No one is going to hurt my family!" Lucius orders that made everyone cowered in fear because it was the first time they heard the Prime Minister used his pure blood alpha voice. 

Even Cyrus got chills from hearing him but his wolf is oddly bouncing with the Prime Minister's words.

Cyrus was about to bite off Dylan’s head again when the Prime Minister's phone rings.

Cyrus and Dylan both stayed silent while he  talked to someone on the phone. 

When the phone ended, the Prime Minister looked at the two again.

"Julius is on the move now. He would probably go to where your family is. We have to stop him from taking yet another innocent life." Lucius says with a determination in his voice.

Cyrus swallowed. He might not want to admit it because Julius is still his father but if the old man hurts Aria and Kiana, he knows he'll kill him himself.

"Can your people track where they are and----"

"I know where they are now. The car has stopped. A few miles away from here, probably your father's old warehouse." Dylan interrupted him.

"How would you even know that?!"

"Put a bug on Aria. You truly believe I would let your mate go without tracking her?!" Dylan asked with a hint of hurt in his voice because he remembers how Cyrus was so ready to rip his head off a while ago.

"I apologize but I am worried and--"

"It's alright Rus, I know. Now let's get your family out of there." Dylan says while squeezing his cousin's shoulder, for him Cyrus will always and forever be his cousin whoever he really is.

Everything happened so fast. Aria arrived at the warehouse and the moment she stepped foot outside the car, someone hit her from behind  with a gun making her fall on the floor as her mind fell into darkness. 

The next thing she knows, she is tied up to a chair still dizzy by the time she opens her eyes only to see the silver chain that stops her from transforming to her wolf.

She also could not make a sound because her abductor made sure her mouth was stuffed with something gross too, perhaps a rug or a rotten sock.

The omega's eyes widened when she finally realized where she was. 

She is  inside an old warehouse and she spotted a door that looks like an abandoned office too but when she starts to make a noise, the door bursts open showing no other than Alexandra.

"Oh look at that! Finally you're up! Are you ready to enjoy the show?" She asked while laughing at her state.

The Omega knows the alpha wants to see her cower in fear so as much as she wants to scream at her, she tries his best not to make any unnecessary noise. 

She wants to conserve her energy and the lack of reaction makes Alex even more annoyed at her. 

The alpha walks towards her as if she is about to launch at a prey only to remove the stinky rug in her mouth so she could hear her talk.

"What do you want, Alex? Where's my daughter?" Aria asked.

Alex’s eyes shine with mirth when she finally got a reaction from the omega.

"Don't worry Riri, she'll be here soon. Let's just wait for her grandpa before the show. You know, Julius also wants to make sure that you  die this time" Alex cups her face and squishes her cheeks hard before she pushes her away.

Aria’s eyes widened when she heard the alpha's word. 

"Again? What do you mean again?" She asked even when she knows that Alex  probably wouldn’t reply to her but to her surprise, the alpha turns to her with bitterness written all over her face again.

"You really have no idea don't you? OhPoor you...I wonder how you survived that fire too?Oh wait... why not put you and your pup in a fire this time so you could meet your parents in hell also?" Alex say voice mocking

Aria about to ask what she was talking about when they heard cars pull in outside the warehouse.

"Ooops, Kiana’s grandpa is here now. I guess we could start the party now!" Alex says before she laughs.

"No! Alex please not Kiana.. not my daughter please! You can do everything you want to me but not Kiana please." She begs but her words just fell on deaf ears.

Aria begins to cry when Rina walks in through the door, in her arms is her sleeping daughter.

"Rina! Oh gosh, no... please Rin don't do this. Please... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not knowing about your mom before. I'm sorry Rin but you can't do this to Kiana please." Aria cried while staring at Ria  who was caught off guard.

The alpha didn't expect her to apologize let alone talk about her mother's condition. 

Her hands on Kiana tightened as she slowly steps forward to Aria while Alex is busy talking to Julius.

"What the hell are you talking about Aria? Can't you see? This is the end for you and your pup. Isn't this better? After this no one could hurt you both anymore." Rina said while looking at her crying friend.

"No Rin, no. I already lost 3 years of our lives together. I can't. We can't die because Cyrus would surely die too if I die. You don't have to do this Rina, I know you're only doing this for your mom please help us. I promise we're gonna help your mom too and----"

"Shut up Aria! Also, why would Cyrus die too? He's pure blood so he would be able to survive the pain!" Rina replied while slowly putting Kiana down on another plastic chair.

"Rina you don't understand. I'm...I'm a pure blooded omega and we are fated mates. Our lives are tied to each other so if Alex wants to kill me so she can have Cyrus, then she wouldn't be able to have him in the end." Ari whispered, making sure it's only Rian who could hear her.

"Stop fucking with me! We have known you for years! You are not a pure---"

Rina wasn't able to finish her sentence when she saw Aria’s eyes  flash royal blue, the color that only belongs to a pureblooded omega.

"What the---"

"Rina please...you have to help us!" Aria begs again but her words are cut off when she hears Julius and Alex approaching them.

Julius and Alex only learned who Aria really is just a few hours ago but they both are oblivious about the truth of her rank because the pure blood omega was trained when she was little to hide her real rank so she could protect herself.

 She can still remember how her auntie used to scold her whenever she couldn't control her royal blue eyes whenever she got excited while playing with other kids.

She remembers the older omega used to tell her that pure blood omegas are rare and are usually hunted down by the bad wolves so she grew up hiding her real rank. Only trusted people like her mate knows her real rank.
