When Cyrus said he would bring Aria home soon, he didn't mean it to be the next day immediately. 

So imagine his surprise when Dylan barged into his office in the middle of the day when he was working with the documents they just forwarded to him.

"Cyrus, Ashbourne is outside," Dylan said with wide eyes because the truth is, his cousin hadn't told him anything about all that he had discovered yet because they got so busy and there was no time to discuss it.

Cyrus was just planning to talk to Dylan after office hours because he was going to invite him to his penthouse where Felicia and Kiana are currently staying in.

"Ashbourne? You mean knight Ashbourne?!" Cyrus raised his brows upon hearing the other pure-blooded alpha's name.

"Yeah! He wants to talk to you." Dylan informs him.

"Wait a minute Dylan. Since when did you become my secretary and why the hell haven't you sent him in yet if he wants to talk to me?" Cyrus frowns before removing his reading glasses.

Dylan rolled his eyes at his sarcasm.

"He wants you to see him in his car outside. Now what the hell is going on Cyrus?!" Dylan frowns.

it was only then that Cyrus realized.

"Oh Dylan, I'll be right back," he replied to his cousin before he grabbed his jacket and ran towards the elevator.

There is no reason for Knight to visit him at his workplace because he knows that the son of the Prime Minister would never step foot in his office unless…

Cyrus was already panting by the time he finally spotted Knight’s black Lamborghini parked at the side of their building. 

He gently knocks on the window of the car before Knight finally opens it.

"Carter" 

"Ashbourne"

 The two are  glaring at each other before they're interrupted by a very familiar voice.

"Cyrus! Bring me to my daughter." Aria says while staring at the Assemblyman who's eyes widened when he saw her at the back of the car.

"Get in Carter. We know you moved your pup this morning, take Aria to her now." knight said, opening the other door for Cyrus.

The younger pure blood alpha glared at Knight first before he nodded and entered the car with a huff.

"How the hell did you even know I---"

"I was outside your house earlier but I'm not sure whether to follow you or not so I just asked Knight to accompany me here." Aria cuts him off.

"What were you doing outside my house?" Cyrus asked only to regret it immediately when he heard Knight’s mocking voice.

"Why else Carter? Of course it’s to see her pup." Knight replied and maybe he loves it a little more when he sees how flustered the two are.

The drive to Cyrus’s penthouse was uneventful since Knight decided to keep quiet after he made both young wolves blush.

They're already inside the very secured building when Cyrus turns to look at Knight .

"My penthouse is for my family only. Do you mind if you'll wait outside?" Cyrus said smirking at the older pure blood but Aria isn't having it.

 "He's coming with me, Cyrus." She said before she entered the elevator.

Knight almost laughed at Cyrus’s reaction before he also joined Aria inside the elevator.

Cyrus bites his tongue so he could stop himself from cussing at the other pure blood in front of Aria before he also steps the elevator.

The two pure blood alphas are focused on Aria the moment they enter the penthouse.

The space is the total opposite of what Aria was expecting to see.

 It's also very different from Knight’s penthouse because Cyrus’s space looks like it was built for a child since the floor is carpeted.

"Oh.. your place looks...nice." Aria can't help but to comment when they're finally inside.

Cyrus was about to reply then he sees Knight staring at a portrait on the wall, it was the only picture he had as a child. It was taken just as they were just about to relocate to England.

"What are you looking at Ashbourne?" Cyrus asked.

"Nothing Carter, you just looked like a lost child in there." Knight replied with a smirk before he joined Aria on the couch.

Cyrus frowns before he throws another glance at the portrait.

"It's because I was." he murmured to himself before he started climbing the stairs to check on Felicia and Kiana in his baby's room.

Aria and Knight were appreciating the place when a familiar scent starts to infiltrate the omega's nose.

"Pwetty Pwincessss!!" Kiana excitedly screams the moment she sees the pretty omega downstairs.

Aria almost tripped on the stairs when she runs to welcome her baby, this time Kiana wasn't wearing any scent blocker so she could finally scent her baby.

"Kiana, my little princess!" Aria says before taking her pup from Cyrus’s arms.

The pure blood alpha couldn't help but smile when he saw how Aria eagerly scented his baby, their pup.

Even knight’s heart melts as he has witnessed how Aria’s eyes light up the moment she saw Kiana.

The older pure blood didn't even notice he's already smiling when Cyrus suddenly blocked his view.

Knight frowns.

"Stop staring at them Ashbourne."

"They're not your private property Carter."

 Cyrus almost growled on hearing his words. But he's interrupted by the loud laughter of his omega and their pup. 

Cyrus froze on his feet when Kiana started to pepper Aria’s face with little kisses and it was only then that he realized that he could also finally smell his mate's scent.

"You smelled like stwawbewwy too pwetty pwincess!" Kiana said while nuzzling her mother.

Aria smiled as she tightened her hands around her pup.

"Daddy loves stwawbewwy too. Sometimes we bwuy stwawbewwy and daddy----"

"Kiana, princess! Why don't you show Ria---the pretty Princess your room?" Cyrus panics when his child almost exposes him to everybody.

The three other adults in the room gave Cyrus a weird look before Aria agreed to go with Felicia and Kiana in his pup's room.

Cyrus was about to finally breathe a sigh when he heard chuckles behind him. "What's funny now Ashbourne?" he asked with a frown.

"Can't believe you really cried over a strawberry Carter. Very creative." Knight said before he runs and goes to where Aria and Kiana went.

"Hey! Knight,  strangers are not allowed in---goddamn it!" Cyrus murmured to himself when he realized that the pure blood alpha wont listen to him anyways.

He just decided to quickly type a message to inform Dylan that he won't be coming back to work the rest of the  day before he also follows his family upstairs.

"Yeah, my family and that fucking annoying stranger." he mumbled to himself.

Julius Carter is beyond livid when he confirms that Knight Ashbourne will indeed be given a seat in his father's party list. 

It was the same spot he had been trying to get for years not for himself but for his son Cyrus. 

He knows he's too old for the position and aside from that, the people love his son more than him and he also knows they'll have a bigger chance for the position if he uses Cyrus as bait. 

And now that he has finally gotten rid of all the blocks that stopped him from getting in, the Prime Minister suddenly announced that his heir Knight Ashbourne will finally enter politics too. 

Well, it isn't official yet but then, Julius already got the news from an insider and that's why he's now very angry because of the sudden situation.

He did not work for years to get that seat only to be stolen from him too. 

If he manages to find his way decades ago, he is sure that he could make a way again this time too.

The alpha called his secretary but instead of his secretary, Alexandria appeared in his office.

"I swear to Luna if you're here with more bad news just leave! I'm not in a mood to listen to your failures." Julius' voice booms inside his office.

At first, Alex was nervous but then she was already used to the old alpha's nasty remarks so she just invited herself inside the office.

"We need to work faster now sir. Aria and Cyrus would soon know about what you did 3 years ago. If you won't help me get Cyrus to marry me, then I will have no choice but to beg Aria to forgive me....that will also mean I will have to tell him the truth." Alex said with a straight face.

She has been very obedient to the Carter patriarch for years. 

 She has always been there for his daughter and now that Aria is back, she has no plans of giving up her position in Cyrus’s life anymore. 

This time, Alex wants a permanent space so she devises a plan to get Cyrus already.

Julius Carter laughs at Alex’s threat. 

He almost tears up because of his laughter before he decides to speak.

"Are you threatening me, little girl?" the older alpha asked when he was finally done laughing, this time his eyes turned crimson which almost made Alex kneel in submission. 

But the alpha female is also determined to get what she wants. 

Besides, she already got herself an ally so she wouldn't want to waste such an opportunity.

She will get Cyrus by hook or by crook and no one can stop him from doing that, not even Julius.

"I'm not threatening you, sir. I'm just asking you nicely to help me to make sure Cyrus will marry me." Alex replied, making sure Julius wouldn't see her now trembling hands. 

Within a blink of an eye, Julius is standing in front of the startled Alex. 

The older man's hand gripped her neck tightly and for a second, Alex thought she was going to die right at that moment.

"No one, I repeat, no one tells me what I should and I shouldn't do. And no one threatens me, not even death.  be it fake or real could tell me what I want to do. Do you think I would listen to you just because I saved Cyrus from that omega slut 3 years ago? You must be joking, because I will do it all over again if I have to! I'm going to get rid of everyone who stops me from making my son the most powerful man in the country!" Julius grits his teeth while gripping Alex’s neck.

Alex struggled and tried to free herself from Julius’s grip but to no avail, the older just lifted her from the floor before he slammed her on the bulletproof glass in his office.

 "Know place Child! And don't ever show up here again or else, I will make sure that would be the last you would be seen. Are we clear?." Julius threatens.

Alex still holding her now reddened neck from Julius' grip starts to laugh.

The older man gave her a confused look so the younger alpha fished out his phone from his pocket to show that she just recorded everything that they had talked about including the old man's threat to her life.

Julius’s eyes widen and just as he's about to grab her Alex speaks, gone is the hesitant, timid, and nervous tone.

"Hey Rin, you got all that right? Don't worry, Julius won't do anything stupid that will make him fall. And don't worry, I'm sure he wouldn't want his only son to turn his back on him. The elections are coming up soon, he would rather let his son marry me right at this moment than ruin his reputation in the public." Alex said on the phone but her eyes were focused on the old man.

Alex knows she didn’t need to elaborate her flawless plan to the older since Julius heard everything she just said on the phone.

"You two-faced bitch! Fine! Let me talk to my son and make sure you turn over that shit to me or else I'm gonna----"

"Na ah! Stop scaring me, Mr. Carter. Remember, I'll be your daughter-in-law soon. Also, you should have known I'm a two-faced bitch from the moment I agreed to your plan to betray my own  friend three years ago." Alex said before finally getting up to leave the office and run for her life because he suddenly gets scared of the possibility of Julius killing her regardless.

Meanwhile back at Cyrus's penthouse, Knight excused himself to receive a call from Justin leaving Aria with her daughter and Felicia in the room.

Aria is still in awe while she is staring at her daughter playing with here and enjoying the calming fresh flowery scent of her little girl. In response she is also  releasing her own fruity scent that keeps Kiana from sniffing her.

"Pwetty pwincess, look I know how to pway this." Kiana suddenly runs towards the music instruments in the room. 

At first Aria thought she would use the wooden xylophone but then when Kiana saw that she was watching her, she stood up again and went to sit on by her piano.

"You know how to play the piano my angel?" Aria asked, not missing the opportunity to call the little girl her angel.

"Yes pwetty pwincess, daddy taught me this song. Come here." Kiana waves her hands at her and pat the space on her seat but Aria just moves closer and sits in front of her.

"I wanna watch you play baby. Can you play for ma--pretty Princess?" Aria bites her tongue when she almost slipped up.

As much as she wants to introduce herself as Kiana’s mother, she knows that she still can't. 

Aria knows she needs to be more patient because she doesn't want to put her daughter in danger when there are people out there who wanted to hurt their family.

With the thought that someone might hurt her daughter, Aria scoots closer to her in the end. 

She even nuzzles her at the back of her head again making sure Kiana can feel how much she loves her.

Felicia who was  just silently watching the mother  and daughter duo could not help but smile to herself. 

She was very happy to witness the reunion of the two since she knows Kiana has been longing for her mother even when she was not able to voice it out.

She has witnessed how Kiana grew up as a crying baby because of the absence of her other parent. 

Felicia also knows about the legends that newly born pups that are separated from their parents have the tendency to get sick and die because of the pain so she's really proud and happy to know that Kiana endured all that pain and now she's finally with her mother again.

 "Felicia are you alright?" Taehyung asked when he noticed that the older woman was silently crying while staring at them.

"Oh, yes I'm  fine Madam Aria. I'm sorry about that...I was just overwhelmed and very happy that you're finally back." Felicia replied while wiping her tears away.

Aria smiled fondly at the older woman and it's only then she realized that she's probably the one who took care of her daughter when she was gone so she tentatively took her hand to her own. 

She carefully put Kiana down on the carpeted floor and let her play with her toys so she could talk to the older woman properly.

"I know saying Thank you will never be enough to thank you for taking care of my baby. Felicia , thank you for every day and night that you were there for her when I couldn't be." Aria uttered, making sure Kiana won't get suspicious of them too.

"You don't have to thank me Madam. I just did my job. Besides, your daughter is such a beautiful little pup. I remember one time when she was probably feeling the pain of your separation she wouldn't stop crying. She was crying the whole night and the  young Master didn't know what to do anymore. He was already hopeless, but you know what happened the moment Master Cyrus started to cry?" Felicia looks at the little girl fondly.

Aria remained quiet. 

She feels like someone is gripping her heart so tight because she could just imagine the pain both Kiana and Cyrus had to go through when she left. 

She knows that she would  just cry the moment she opens her mouth so she just gave Felicia a questioning look so she could continue telling her the story.

"Your daughter stopped crying the moment she felt her daddy was crying. It's as if it's her way of telling her father that she won't cry again because she doesn't want her daddy to cry. Ever since that night, Kiana only cries when the young master isn't home. Your daughter is an angel Mistress so you have nothing to thank me for. She endured and survived the pain of separation from you not because we took care of her but because I think in her little pure heart  she knows you didn't abandon her, I am guessing that your pup's wolf knows it by heart that you love her and that you were also longing for her." Felicia says while squeezing her hand.

 At that point Aria couldn't hold back her tears anymore. 

Now that she finally understands that the pain and the feeling of having a hole in her heart was because she was separated from her child not because she lost her.

"I love her, I love my pup and I would never leave her again. I will protect her with my life." 

Aria only managed to utter before she walks towards her daughter again. 

And it's as if Kiana could sense her mother, she quickly moves from the carpeted floor to Aria’s  lap.

"Pwetty pwincess, why are you cwying? Did Feli towd you her stowy too? Don't wowwy, Kiki is here." the little girl said while wiping Aria’s tears with her two tiny hands.

Felicia smiled at the mother and daughter duo and when Aria pulled the little girl into a tight hug again, she knew she had to give them time on their own so she quietly walked out of the room.

Aria didn't want to scare her daughter with all her crying so she tried her best to calm down.

"Kiana, my angel, do you want me to play a song for you?" She asked just to distract the child because she can sense that his little pup is starting to get  distressed because of her.

"Pwetty pwincess can pway piano too?"

"Yes baby, in fact it's my job to play and make songs using the piano." Aria proudly tells her as she carries her so they can both sit in front of her piano.

"Wow! then pway for Kiku too, pwetty pwincess pwease!" Kiana begs using her puppy eyes.
